Now, we just found out that Michael Brillo will not be charged with both counts of manslaughter.
He will also not be charged in the other lesser charges that were up on the table as well.
He has been ordered to be released and to go back home.
Now, tensions are going to be high in Cleveland today.
We already know about the case with Michael Brillo.
And in case you don't know, Michael Brillo was the officer that almost three years ago was involved in a hot pursuit.
With two suspects in a car.
There were 13 officers involved in total, around 130-something shots fired.
49 shots fired, though, from Officer Brillo alone.
And the judge said that he had the justification in...
The use of the force that he had to use in that situation based off the information that he knew of at the time and that heard from other officers.
And they said that the reason that he had jumped on top of the hood of the car was so that if he was standing there shooting at the car, the car driver could not drive and pin him against his squad car.
So he jumped on the squad car hood and then over to the suspect's hood, and then that's when he pumped those 15 rounds into the vehicle.
And the judge also said that he is only responsible for one fatal shot.
Whereas those other five shots came from, or the other four shots, I should say, came from other officers involved in the pursuit.
So we saw what happened in Ferguson.
We saw what happened in Baltimore.
Will Cooler heads prevail.
When I was in Cleveland last week, everyone said Cleveland's not the kind of city that would ever riot.
