| Now, around 1040, the prosecutor came out, Prosecutor Mosby came out, and said that at 930 in the morning, they issued warrants for these officers' arrests, and now they have them. | |
| So, the six cops... | |
| Are these gentlemen right here. | |
| I'm going to read off the names. | |
| There's an officer, Garrity Miller. | |
| First charge, assault, second degree, 10 years. | |
| Second is assault, second degree, 10 years. | |
| Three, misconduct in office. | |
| Fourth, misconduct in office. | |
| Five, false imprisonment. | |
| Sergeant Alicia D. White. | |
| Her first count is manslaughter. | |
| Involuntary, 10 years. | |
| Second would be assault, second degree, 10 years. | |
| Misconduct in office as well. | |
| And then you have the other four, which is Officer Cesar R. Goodson Jr. He's been charged with second-degree depraved heart murder, manslaughter, assault, manslaughter by vehicle, manslaughter by vehicle, criminal negligence, misconduct in office, and you have Officer William G. Porter, manslaughter, assault, misconduct, Lieutenant Brian W. Rice, and Officer Edward Nero. | |
| These are the six officers who have been charged at this point. | |
| This is the first step. | |
| We've said it already. | |
| The second step will lead to find out whether or not these officers will be indicted and they will in fact serve these sentences. | |
| So right now it's a waiting game. | |
| We're not sure how fast. | |
