Jakari Jackson, Infowars.com, bringing you some pretty heavy news.
Coming out of Kenya, we have a report of a campus shooting.
Now, the reports are changing rapidly, but the last number I saw was 70-plus people are dead, many more injured, and of course those people could die.
This is the Garissa University College, and basically a group of Somali al-Shabad extremists, they stormed the campus, they were...
Going door to door, reports Fox News.
They were asking people, are you a Muslim?
Are you a Christian?
And if you said you were a Christian, they shot you on the spot, claims one witness.
And it reminds me somewhat of the Columbine situation.
If you guys recall, the young lady was there and the gunman came up to her and he says, are you a Christian?
She stands up and says yes, and he killed her.
I'm confident she went on to be with the Lord, but that's the things that they had to endure.
And in all this, you know, they do have security, from what I understand, at that particular university.
But even though the police and the security guards engaged the gunman, they weren't able to stop them.
At least initially, it's my understanding that they now have the guys pinned down in one of the dormitories and, you know, inching towards getting them.
But they're pretty heavily armed.
It's been a very difficult thing to do.
So it kind of brings up the debate.
You know, as far as campus carry or people being armed or, you know, any type of concealed carry.
Because, yeah, if I was in that university and I knew somebody was knocking on the door, are you a Christian?
Yeah, bam.
Are you a Christian?
Bam.
By the time he got to my door, I would have shot him as soon as he went to the door.
So, you know, it brings up that argument and it says there was a fierce shootout, reports.
I believe this was, uh...
This was CBS that reported this.
There's a fierce shootout there.
And that's just one of the many things.
And Fox News brought to the news talking about how they were holding the Christians hostage at the particular university.
And this is the same terror group, Al-Shabad, that was threatening attacks here in the States, talking about they wanted to attack the Mall of America.
And DHS looked into it, and originally, Jay Johnson, he said that he was taking the threats very seriously, but then came to the conclusion that there was no...
Incredible threat from the group.
And that may be true.
They may not be planning an attack here in the States.
But we have seen them attack a different attack in Kenya years ago.
They attacked them all out there.
Killed several people.
And then the Interpol chief said the way to combat these type of things is to arm the citizenry.
And I do agree.
You know, I don't expect anybody to become John McCain just because they have a pistol on their hip.
But as in the example I gave earlier, if you know the guy's coming to kill you, you can at least have your gun ready.
And maybe you can't take them all out, but, you know, he shoots you, you shoot him, at least you took out one of them, and you weren't just another victim.
You were actually able to help the situation.
So we'll continue to update this as it develops.
Like I said, it's developing very rapidly.
More people could die from the incident, and hopefully they can get this thing stemmed before any more tragedy happens.
