We have a new article on the site today, Hollywood Making Major Gun Control Movie.
And it's basically about an anti-gun lobbyist tentatively titled Miss Sloan.
And I guess Miss Sloan gets some anti-gun legislation push.
Maybe she's teaming up with Feinstein and Boxer and these other people who don't want you to have guns, but they have armed bodyguards or have concealed carriers and all that.
But it's not just in the big budget movies where we see this.
You guys recall last year, Archie Comics did an issue where Archie took a bullet for a gun control advocate.
And also in other types of entertainment as well, back in 2013, myself and Alex did a report detailing how when they show militiamen in the movies, it's always some backwoods racist boys trying to overthrow the government and they're racist and they hate everybody.
And I'll tell you guys, I've met a lot of the open carriers here in Texas.
And yeah, some of them may live on a farm or like to go hunting or whatever, but they're not these flaming racists as people try to portray them in the media.
They're very polite, well-educated people.
And I'm sure there's some hotheads as there can be in any group, but the majority of the people I met are very nice, pleasant people.
They just want their gun rights and want to be left alone.
And speaking of the media, you guys also remember, what's his 2013?
Harvey Weinstein, the movie mogul.
He said he's gonna come out with anti-gun movies and he said after we get done the the gun advocates are going to wish they were never born so I expect to see more of these anti-gun movies and it's just laughable to me because you guys have probably seen the demand the plan video there's a lot of celebrities in here Jamie Foxx,
Jessica Alba, Cameron Diaz, a bunch of other people And this was actually a parody video of that, and they interspliced the action stars saying that, you know, we've got to stop this gun violence.
And they show them in the movies committing gun violence.
And I don't think that, you know, it makes you a bad person to make a violent movie.
You know, I own violent movies and violent video games and stuff.
And if you go shoot up wherever, you know, you go get in a gunfight, I don't think it's Grand Theft Auto's fault.
You know, everybody wants to blame somebody else.
Bad for people to have their free speech and express that in their movies or video games, but I think it is kind of laughable for these guys to make millions of dollars off gun violent movies and then tell people, you know, go turn in your guns while I go back to my castle with my security guards and my gated community.
But we'll end tonight with this, talking about how they want you to think about guns in a different way.
You guys have probably seen this clip, but just in case you haven't.
This is our outgoing, or supposedly outgoing, Attorney General Eric Holder.
He's supposed to step down a long time ago.
But he's going to remind you that you need to think about guns in a vastly different way and actually be brainwashed into thinking about guns his way.
Part of every day, some kind of anti-violence, anti-gun message.
Every day, every school, at every level.
One thing that I think is clear with young people and with adults as well is that we just have to be repetitive about this.
It's not enough to simply have a catchy ad on a Monday and then only do it every Monday.
