Time Text
This is Jakari Jackson for Infowars.com.
Two officers were shot last night in Ferguson, Missouri.
That's my understanding they are both in critical condition and have not had their names released.
Here's a video of the shooting.
I will warn you it does contain some graphic language.
Fuck!
Fuck!
The fuck?
The fuck?
Acknowledging nine months ago would have kept that from happening.
So, uh, very unfortunate incident.
And, you know, there's a lot of issues with the police out there, which I'll talk about in one second, but shooting at them isn't going to help.
This is how they justify having the MRAPs and the Bearcats and the heavy armor and the tear gas.
You know, this is why they justify having all that stuff.
And you can see some of the opinions of people here.
And these aren't the opinions of everybody.
And it's very unfortunate that, you know, Negative actions like this take the brunt of the publicity, but I'll show you some peaceful demonstrations here in one second.
But looking more into it, this is an article, I believe this is the Washington Post, and they say that no suspects have been identified as of yet.
And I'll show you some peaceful demonstrations here.
So this was a demonstration One of the shut it down from Michael Brown demonstrations They were calling him And the people would go down the streets You can see them walking in the streets They would shut down an intersection for a few minutes Symbolic of the time that Mike was left in the streets And you don't see this You don't see the white people, the black people Holding hands, being peaceful They only show you the guys with their pants down Burning down the grocery stores and so forth
And you know minor traffic problems The point I wanted to hit with this is even though you see all these peaceful people, you know, they're coexisting with the police as best they can.
Nobody got arrested that I'm aware of that night.
The brunt of this publicity was focused on one journalist who got hit with a rock.
And I'm a journalist myself, I definitely wouldn't want to get hit with a rock, but you see all these peaceful people and they just focused on that one negative aspect of it.
Here's another one we did.
And this is before the Darren Wilson verdict.
And we just went to the grocery store, which is right down the street, in the Target Shopping Center.
When we went back there, we went there in August.
This was where a lot of the police cars and things were staged.
And we just talked to people.
They said, hey, we just don't want what you see on the screen right now to happen again.
We just want a peaceful solution regardless of what happens.
And the Ferguson, or let's say the...
St. Louis police have some issues.
This is one of them.
this was when they attacked Al Jazeera then said they were just helping them disassemble their camera equipment.
And they clearly have lights, cameras, There's the tear gas that they say wasn't used.
It doesn't look like a smoke grenade to me.
That looks like tear gas.
And then we had to run for it because they were shooting rubber bullets at us.
And so, you know, there are issues of accountability out there.
You know, targeting journalists, arresting journalists, shooting tear gas at people, then lying about it.
Having curfews early on that they denied.
The police chief, Tom Jackson, who just stepped down.
I saw a press conference.
I unfortunately couldn't be at that one, but I did see it live on TV. And he was talking about, there's no curfew.
I'm like, okay, so...
You're coming out there with MRAPs, heavy armor, aiming guns at people in the crowd at 6pm when the sun is still shining high in the sky.
And you're saying that's not a curfew.
You know, telling them they'll be arrested if they don't disperse.
But according to him, that doesn't constitute a curfew in Ferguson, Missouri.
So, I mean, they do have issues like that.
But the second time we went there in November, the police were much better behaved.
There was an officer, I can't remember his name.
I'm sure there will be much more news on this, so stay tuned to Infowars.com.
