Special Reports & Tweets - Thousands Protest Roe v. Wade Aired: 2015-01-23 Duration: 01:26 === Abortion's Impact on Black Lives (01:26) === [00:00:00] This is Jakari Jackson for Infowars.com. [00:00:02] This week marks the anniversary for Roe v. [00:00:05] Wade, if you can call it an anniversary. [00:00:07] But now we see this article, Roe v. [00:00:09] Wade turns 42,000's march in opposition. [00:00:12] This is a march on Washington. [00:00:14] It's my understanding that this hasn't gotten much media attention for some reason, but we'll talk about it here. [00:00:19] Thousands rallied at the National Mall to protest Roe v. [00:00:22] Wade, which of course legalized abortion in our country. [00:00:26] We also have this article, House Passes Bill to Prohibit Federal Funding for Abortion. [00:00:31] And this is, while we're talking about abortion, this is somewhat of an aborted bill because we see House Republicans pulled a bill that would have banned abortion after 20 weeks of pregnancy and instead, Thursday, passed less restrictive legislation to prohibit federal funding for abortion, which I am happy about that. [00:00:47] At least federal funds aren't going to fund abortion. [00:00:50] Abortion is something that's, you know, of course, a big issue in our country, a hot-button issue. [00:00:55] But especially when we think about the lives of blacks, we see a lot of Black Lives Matter protests and things such as that. [00:01:02] And I was very happy to see, looking at some Twitter images, people were out there with signs that says Black Lives Matter, Black Lives Matter, even in the case of abortion. [00:01:10] Especially when you consider blacks are pretty much the hardest hit by abortion. [00:01:14] NYC, more black babies killed by abortion than born. [00:01:17] And this is a 2012 study. [00:01:20] And it's not just in New York. [00:01:21] It's many other places across the country. [00:01:23] So I'm very happy to see the people out there protesting abortion.
