| Now, in light of the verdict, it's supposed to be any day now, we've gotten information that gun sales in the area have gone up. | |

| And I don't blame them for doing it, you know, because if I had a business or my house, I wouldn't want nobody taking my stuff. | |

| To my right is the Ferguson Fire Department, and to my left is the Police Department. | |
| Now, if you look over here, just a little bit ago, there was maybe, I'd say about 100 people. | |
| People starting to show up and leave and come and go throughout the thing. | |
| But there are about 65 police officers over here, as you can see. | |
| They've got their riot shields on, helmets, gas masks on their side. | |
| This has been a very peaceful protest. | |
| People have been using, like Jakar Jackson likes to say, colorful language. | |

| And so, by shutting down the streets, it's not an attempt to make somebody feel uncomfortable unless they need to because they are themselves a part of these structures as well, but that the structures themselves need to be questioned. | |

| As you can see, buildings on West Florissant are just up in flames. | |

| One of the most heartbreaking things I saw last night were the firefighters out here at the beginning of the night trying to put these fires out and then being told they had to be pulled back because the fire truck was taking fire. | |
