I'm Joe Biggs with Infowars.com, standing here in Ferguson, Missouri, right off of West Florissant Avenue, where back in August there was a lot of protests, rioting going on, militarized police racing up and down the streets in their MRAPs, pointing sniper rifles at people, and eventually stripping a lot of people with their liberties, attacking journalists, and stripping away freedom of speech for many, making them walk when they shouldn't have to, telling people they couldn't stand still in protest, complete and total chaos.
Now there's a new threat, though.
There's a lot of internet chatter saying that one of the targets that a lot of these activists or militant groups, people from outside Ferguson, want to hit the power grid.
Now, right over here is the Emerson Electric Company that supplies power to Ferguson and a lot of the surrounding cities in this area.
We're standing right here at a substation that supplies most of the power.
Up and down the street into the neighborhoods.
Now, this might seem a little far-fetched for a lot of people.
You know, that's a stretch.
That's never going to happen.
Well, it's already happened here once back on Halloween.
It was a Friday around 8 p.m.
at night.
People saw flickering in their homes, and then eventually the power went out.
Now, they've just come out with a recent report saying that someone purposely did this, and...
The place that lost most power outage and what really frightens a lot of people was that the fire department here in Ferguson and the police department lost their power.
And what they believe thus far from the investigation is that vandals did this purposely to disrupt the power at that place.
They believe that the police department was indeed the target.
So what if this happens again?
What if that was a practice run for a larger...
A larger attack that they would like to do.
And for a much larger or longer reason, you know, they're going to put up a command center over here.
Jakari Jackson and I shot a report yesterday showing you where they plan to set up.
The power grid goes out.
Their communications are going to be down.
They're not going to be able to talk back and forth.
If people get hurt, they call for an ambulance.
That's going to be down because of the people in the building that take those calls and things like that.
