Now today there's a new article out by a local New York City news affiliate that says officials looking into possible Ebola case in New York City.
So right now the doctor is Dr. Craig Spencer.
He is in his 30s and he has been in Guinea.
He just got back a week ago when he was over there treating Ebola patients.
And when he came back he kind of self-quarantined himself.
Just in case he would show signs and symptoms.
Well, today he fell ill with a high temperature and some internal problems as well.
So the EMS HAZTAC units transferred the patient to Bellevue Hospital.
And the EMS crews responded to Spencer's home and they wore F-suits, which are level D hazmat gear that covers the entire body.
And that's what CBS2, a local New York news affiliate, reported.
They've now decided to conduct a test for the Ebola virus because of the patient's recent travel history, and the Ebola test could take up to 12 hours until we find out whether or not he's negative or positive for the virus.
But as a further precaution beginning today, the health department's team of disease detectives immediately began to actively trace all the patient's contacts to identify anyone who may be a potential risk.
Now, sources said that Spencer decided to go bowling last night.
You're a doctor who has been treating Ebola in West Africa.
CDC keeps continuously telling us that our doctors are the best out there, and they're not going to put anybody in harm's way, and they're not going to act carelessly or anything like that.
And we keep seeing these mess-ups with these nurses and these doctors.
And get this, he goes bowling.
He takes an Uber car there and back.
So that's something to look into.
You know, just last week, there was a big headline on Drudge that said, New York City, get ready.
And they were talking about Ebola.
Hopefully this is not what they meant.
But it just goes to show you that these medical personnel who are supposed to be taking care of us are clearly not taking this disease seriously, as seriously as I am, and I know others are.
You know, you go bowling, you've got to think the amount of people that go in there that have touched that ball that he was using.
And children go bowling and all that.
It will be so hard to contact trace all of the people that would be in contact at that bowling alley and who have ridden in the Uber car as well.
