Hi, this is Dr. Pchenik and I want to talk about Haiti and the troubles that it has incurred over about 50 years.
Recently, as many of you may have heard or read, the President of Haiti, Moise, M-O-I-S-E, who has been president for about the last four to five years, was assassinated in his house and his wife was wounded.
And many people who know Haiti, and I know Haiti because I grew up with Haitians, I speak their dialect, which is a slang of French, and I know them quite well.
And I have always been concerned about the state of Haiti, and that's why I want to talk a little bit about it.
The assassination is not a new phenomenon in Haiti.
Haiti is a totally corrupt, totally poor, totally uncontrolled country with no leadership, no government, and has been in turmoil for the past couple of years.
Literally 11 million people are destitute.
They have no food, they have gold in the mountains, but nobody's attempting to take out the gold because the political stability is very poor.
More importantly, I knew about Haiti because as I grew up, I was aware of Dr. Duvalier, a physician who was trained in the United States and was trained after World War II to basically treat Negro soldiers who came out of World War II because he was black.
Now think of that type of racism.
In turn, Doc Duvalier created a group of machete-holding and machete-killing individuals con tonto macut, a group of individuals who basically killed anybody who defied Doc Duvalier.
And Dr. Duvalier was in power from the 1950s to 71.
He died in power.
He killed close to 50,000 to 100,000 Haitians.
In turn, he was followed by his son, Little Papa Duck.
And in turn, that son left the country with about 500 million.
So why is Haiti important to me and possibly to the United States?
Number one, it presents a destabilization in the Caribbean.
Number two, it presents the Biden administration with a problem of a country that doesn't have any leadership or government.
Number three, if Biden declares that there should be democracy in Haiti, he's going to make a very big mistake.
Number four, I really want to see what the Secretary of State Blinken, who speaks French, will do.
Will he go down to Haiti or not?
Equally important is Kamala Harris, our Vice President.
She trained in Montreal, meaning that she also speaks French and would know a lot about the French culture in Haiti.
Will she go down and show her capability?
And other than the fact that they will pronounce some type of democracy in Haiti, which it's not, it's barely a republic.
So what I'm looking at in Haiti is chaos.
And as the American warrior in crisis, this is what I've always been doing for decades, basically going into countries, either creating chaos or basically stopping the chaos.
Now, I want to see how the Biden administration handles a very serious problem of 11 million people in total destitution, totally corrupt.
And in total chaos.
That will tell America a lot about how effective this administration is.
I wish him the best, but I'm not expecting the best.
In fact, I will quote George Santayana.
