Freedomain Radio - Stefan Molyneux - Will AI Replace More Women's Jobs Than Men's Jobs? Aired: 2025-03-22 Duration: 04:38 === AI and Job Replacement (04:13) === [00:00:00] According to McKinsey, AI is going to impact and automate about 43% of American jobs. [00:00:07] So AI, would you like a little rant, a little closing rant? [00:00:12] A little closing rant? [00:00:14] Rant. AI is the only chance we have to raise the birth rate in the short run. [00:00:24] Is AI going to automate Road construction or HR? [00:00:35] Whose jobs are going to get replaced more? [00:00:40] Men's jobs or women's jobs? [00:00:46] Right? AI is going to replace women's jobs more than men's jobs. [00:00:55] And I'm not including automated driving in that. [00:00:59] Just text-based sort of AI stuff. [00:01:07] So, men have made women significantly redundant. [00:01:14] Let me ask AI. [00:01:15] You know, that's a good question. [00:01:17] That's a good question. [00:01:19] Let's ask a local. [00:01:21] I have a local. [00:01:22] Oh, I think my local AI. [00:01:23] Yeah, okay, what does AI say? [00:01:25] What does AI say? [00:01:27] Let me ask Grok. [00:01:29] Best AI on the planet, in my humble opinion. [00:01:32] Will AI affect, replace more men or more women? [00:01:42] Let's do deep search. [00:01:46] It's thinking. [00:01:47] Ba-da-dum-pa. [00:01:52] Yeah, from the search it looks like AI is more likely to replace jobs held by women based upon multiple studies. [00:01:59] Women's jobs like payroll clerks and secretaries are at higher risk. [00:02:08] Please, please pay for Grok. [00:02:10] I'm begging you. [00:02:11] Please pay for Grok. [00:02:15] Yeah, admin type stuff and all of that, right? [00:02:19] Yeah. Yeah, Grok is just fantastic for research. [00:02:30] Women are 50% more likely to lose jobs by AI to AI by 2030. [00:02:39] Yeah, 50% higher risk for women's jobs. [00:02:47] All right. [00:02:48] It's still doing its thing. [00:02:50] It's just amazing. [00:02:52] Unbelievable. Yeah, the 50% higher likelihood of replacement is a big deal. [00:02:59] Because if women are more likely to be replaced, then women's wages, to some degree, will go down. [00:03:09] But it's not going to replace sewage workers. [00:03:11] is not going to replace brick layers until robots come along. [00:03:17] you Thank you. [00:03:22] Well, look at that. [00:03:23] I guessed and was right. [00:03:25] Well, no, it's more than a guess. [00:03:28] Educated guess. [00:03:32] Okay, it's been going one minute, 47 seconds. [00:03:35] Very cool. [00:03:38] It's very cool. [00:03:39] I mean, certainly when you call support, often you talk to women and support is going to be AI because there won't be accent issues and it won't require particular training. [00:03:53] So tech support or other kinds of support, totally going to go to AI. [00:04:00] Eight out of ten women are in AI-replaceable roles compared to six out of ten men. [00:04:07] And men can do women's jobs, but in general women can't or won't do men's jobs. === Support Will Be AI (00:24) === [00:04:13] So men can transition into other things more easily than women can. [00:04:17] Thank you. [00:04:18] Thank you. [00:04:22] All right, I think it's just finishing up its run here. [00:04:28] I sent something on D-Live to say thanks, Steph. [00:04:30] Have a good night. [00:04:31] Thank you. [00:04:31] I appreciate that. [00:04:33] Redomain.com slash donate to help out Le Show. [00:04:37] Thank you, thank you, thank you.
