Freedomain Radio - Stefan Molyneux - What Does a Good Man Want? Aired: 2024-12-24 Duration: 06:30 === What Good Men Want (01:28) === [00:00:00] You'd be the same if you were an attractive woman. [00:00:01] Come on. [00:00:02] Nothing magical about this. [00:00:05] So, the curse that is hitting modern women is one thing and one thing only. [00:00:19] So, the curse is they do not ask what good men want. [00:00:28] Now, I know what guys like. [00:00:30] I know what boys want. [00:00:32] Gay boys like me. [00:00:34] The Waitress is a pretty bad song, kind of hypnotic, a bit of a brain rot. [00:00:38] But yeah, so men want sex. [00:00:40] I mean, that's pretty obvious. [00:00:41] Men lust after women. [00:00:43] And again, that's a beautiful part of life, but it needs to be sort of focused in its proper area and element. [00:00:48] But men want sex. [00:00:50] That's biologically programmed. [00:00:51] What do good men want? [00:00:55] What do good men want? [00:00:57] If women were to organize their lives around what good men want, they'd be happy. [00:01:05] But when you see a woman who's, say, 40 +, desperately to settle down, a quality man looks at her and says, Are you stupid? [00:01:21] Like, you know women's fertility window is much shorter than men's. [00:01:25] You know that 35 is geriatric pregnancy. === Why Money Matters in Motherhood (04:39) === [00:01:28] Are you stupid? [00:01:29] Did you not know this? [00:01:31] And did you not have any other women in your life who would tell you this? [00:01:38] Are you surrounded by women who just don't tell you basic facts about how men age, right? [00:01:43] So if a woman says to herself, what does a good man want? [00:01:48] Well, he wants a woman who's not promiscuous. [00:01:50] He wants a woman who's loyal, who's moral, who has integrity, who's hardworking, and so on, and who wants kids. [00:01:57] And who wants kids. [00:01:58] Because to withhold the gift of life that's been a chain for four billion years straight to you, to withhold it from the next people because you want a new fucking video card, is trash thinking almost beyond words, almost beyond redemption. [00:02:12] Almost. [00:02:14] What does a good man want? [00:02:16] And if a woman says, okay, well, a good man, does he want my money? [00:02:19] Does a good man want my money? [00:02:21] Does he care if I make a lot of money? [00:02:26] Does a man... [00:02:27] And let me ask you this. [00:02:28] Lots of guys here. [00:02:29] Lots of guys here. [00:02:34] Have you ever cared about a woman's income if you want to have a wife and kids? [00:02:43] As a man, right? [00:02:45] Have you ever cared about a woman's income if you want a wife and kids? [00:02:50] I mean, to ask the question is to answer it. [00:02:53] Of course you don't care about a woman's income if you want a wife and kids. [00:02:58] Why not? [00:02:59] Why not, you selfish bastards? [00:03:01] Why don't you care about a woman's income if you want to have a wife and kids? [00:03:07] Why would it not matter to you? [00:03:13] Somebody says, no, they don't care. [00:03:15] The less she makes, the better. [00:03:17] She won't settle down if she makes too much. [00:03:19] And that's part of it, for sure. [00:03:20] For sure. [00:03:24] I care about her debt, if any. [00:03:25] Yeah, for sure. [00:03:26] For sure. [00:03:27] Yeah, it makes sense. [00:03:27] But that's part of her income, right? [00:03:29] If she makes $100,000, but she's a couple of hundred thousand dollars in debt, then she's not making any money, right? [00:03:37] It's a nice positive during the interim before she has kids, but no. [00:03:42] Right. [00:03:43] So the more money a woman makes, again, there's exceptions. [00:03:47] This is a general trend. [00:03:48] The more money a woman makes, the less happy she's going to be as a mother because she's always going to sit there and say, because, you know, there's times when being a parent is kind of dull, right? [00:03:56] No question, right? [00:03:58] Babies, toddlers, I mean, they're a lot of fun, but, you know, it's a little repetitive. [00:04:01] And so if she was some high-powered lawyer and then she's wiping the fifth diaper of the day, is she going to be content and happy? [00:04:08] No. [00:04:09] Because she's going to sit there and say, I used to do legal briefs and I used to argue in front of the senior courts and now I'm just wiping butts and singing Baby Shark all day. [00:04:21] she's going to be discontented. [00:04:23] And she's going to think of all the money she's not making. [00:04:25] And it's going to be very tough for her to take time off because she's invested so much in becoming a high-powered XYZ accountant, doctor, executive, lawyer, whatever. [00:04:38] She's put so much time and effort into that, that if she quits, she's going to feel ridiculous. [00:04:42] Which is why, I mean, I'm telling you, man, this is going to be absolutely shocking for women who haven't really thought about this stuff, and I'm sure most of you guys have. [00:04:49] It's actually going to be shocking for women that when I was a young, successful man, and tell me if you haven't experienced this, It's going to blow people's minds. [00:04:58] When I was a young, successful man, I decided to make some decent coin in the software field. [00:05:03] Did I care? [00:05:04] Did I care if the woman was just a barista at a coffee shop? [00:05:10] Did I care if the woman was a cashier at a supermarket? [00:05:13] If she seemed young, positive, pleasant, and attractive, did I care? [00:05:19] Did I care? [00:05:20] It's kind of almost incomprehensible for women. [00:05:24] It's almost incomprehensible for women that we don't care. [00:05:27] We don't care. [00:05:28] If you see that woman, you get that particular click, right? [00:05:30] You see that woman. [00:05:34] And you get that thunderbolt, that lightning, that click, that chemistry, whatever you want to call it, you don't care. [00:05:41] You don't care. [00:05:45] Again, a little incomprehensible to women, but when you're a young man, successful young man, you don't have to be successful, but let's just say reasonably successful, you make enough to maybe start a family, right? [00:05:56] To a young man, you look at that really pretty young woman behind the counter and you say, ooh, If I take her away from all this, it's kind of a dead-end job. === A Young Man's Click (00:23) === [00:06:07] I take her away from all of this. [00:06:08] It's kind of a dead-end job. [00:06:09] I take her away from all of this. [00:06:10] I set her up in a nice house. [00:06:12] I fill her up with babies. [00:06:13] Give her a purpose. [00:06:14] She's going to be thrilled. [00:06:15] She's going to be thrilled. [00:06:23] Because what is a man saying to a woman? [00:06:25] A man is saying to a woman, you're going to have to give all this up. [00:06:27] You're going to have to give all this up because I want you to fill you up with babies.
