Freedomain Radio - Stefan Molyneux - AOC on Healthcare Denial Aired: 2024-12-15 Duration: 06:00 === Start an Insurance Company (02:20) === [00:00:00] And so you end up with more and more stuff being tacked on. [00:00:02] And that means that, you know, what do you need? [00:00:05] End-of-life hospice care gets tacked on to health insurance, which young people don't want, need, or care about. [00:00:10] So, I mean, the whole point of Obamacare was to crash the system and then say, hey, look, we need socialism. [00:00:15] AOC said a denial of an insurance claim is like an act of violence. [00:00:25] Right, right. [00:00:29] Sure, it feels that way. [00:00:30] It feels that way. [00:00:32] Now, of course, if AOC feels that a denial of a healthcare claim is an act of violence, then I guess, like women as a whole, she has two, count them, two choices. [00:00:46] Number one, what you can do, AOC, is you can start an insurance company that never denies a claim. [00:00:54] And that way, you won't be committing any acts of violence. [00:00:57] Just start an insurance company. [00:00:59] Which never denies a claim, and you are set. [00:01:03] Well, actually, that's quite a lot of work, though, isn't it? [00:01:06] Yeah, sorry, that is quite a lot of work. [00:01:08] That's no good. [00:01:09] Oh, wait, hang on. [00:01:11] You know what else you can do is bitch about it. [00:01:14] Yeah, yeah, that's it, that's it. [00:01:18] I could start my own insurance company and never deny a claim, or I can complain about it. [00:01:28] Yeah, I guess she just ended up complaining about it. [00:01:32] Like, it's all the people who are like, women are only paid 77 cents on the dollar. [00:01:37] It's like, well, men work more. [00:01:38] They work more difficult jobs. [00:01:39] They work more challenging jobs. [00:01:40] They work harder. [00:01:41] They work in a more concentrated fashion. [00:01:43] They're willing to give up their weekends. [00:01:44] They work in more highly renumerative jobs, and they work with things rather than people, which is easier to replicate value. [00:01:51] So, what you could do, if you think women are underpaid, is just start an all-female engineering company, and given that women are paid 77 cents on the dollar, you could probably charge 10% less than everyone else while producing the same amount of value you'd take over the entire industry. [00:02:03] So, you could start a company that hires women! [00:02:07] Or, or, go with me here, you could just bitch, moan, and complain about it. [00:02:12] Everybody who bitches, moans, and complains about it knows that what they're saying is bullshit. === Drama And Dollars (03:40) === [00:02:20] So... [00:02:23] So, drama. [00:02:24] So, we are built for drama. [00:02:26] We are built for excitement. [00:02:28] We are built for challenge. [00:02:29] We are built for war. [00:02:30] We're built for combat. [00:02:31] We're built for, right, fighting. [00:02:34] Now, we want to fight the good fight, verbally, peacefully, reasonably, and so on. [00:02:38] But we're built for combat. [00:02:40] And either you do genuine good in the world, or you pursue drama. [00:02:45] Either way, you're going to get drama. [00:02:47] Hey, I I think it could be safe to say that I've had just a little smidge of drama in my own life when it comes to promoting virtue in the world, just a little smidge of drama in my own life, and I don't need drama in my life because I have the drama of pursuing virtue and opposing evil, right? [00:03:05] I have that in life, right? [00:03:07] I have that in life. [00:03:08] So because I'm actually doing good in the world, that's my drama. [00:03:11] That's my excitement. [00:03:13] That's my drama. [00:03:14] Because I'm doing good in the world. [00:03:15] But people who aren't doing good in the world still need the same level of drama. [00:03:19] They just make up useless shit for that. [00:03:21] They just make up useless shit for that. [00:03:26] All right. [00:03:28] Thank you for your tips. [00:03:29] Freedomain.com slash donate. [00:03:30] Plus, you can tip on the Appy apps right here. [00:03:36] right here for the apps. [00:03:38] So, you understand that for a lot of women, for Luigi Mancione, or whatever his name is, the fact that he goes out andices a healthcare executive, what that means is that other healthcare executives are the fact that he goes out andices a healthcare executive, what that means is that other healthcare So, women get healthcare because someone killed someone. [00:04:05] That's how it works. [00:04:07] So people are like, ooh, let's review our denial of claims process because Bro just got gunned down with three bullets named after a Don't Deny Claims healthcare book. [00:04:16] So women are now going to get additional healthcare because Luigi gunned a guy down. [00:04:25] So for them, it's like, well, if the hunter's got to ice a deer for us to get food, great. [00:04:29] And if Bro's got to ice an executive for us to get healthcare, well, life is more important than death and he's our hero. [00:04:36] He's our hero! [00:04:37] Right? [00:04:37] That's how it works. [00:04:39] Get shit for free. [00:04:40] Based on violence, right? [00:04:44] Ah. [00:04:49] Bum. [00:04:49] Yeah, like at some point, at some point, people are going to figure out. [00:04:53] It's going to be pretty rough, man. [00:04:54] But at some point, at some point, people are going to figure out that you can't steal Bitcoin and then the world is collectively going to lose its shit. [00:05:02] As soon as Bitcoin starts to take its place at the center of our economic understanding, people are going to be like, I can't steal this shit. [00:05:09] Alright. [00:05:13] Yeah, it's tough too because, let me ask you this. [00:05:25] Let me ask you this. [00:05:28] Let me ask you this. [00:05:32] Wait, I got distracted by great questions. [00:05:37] I was disgusted when everyone was celebrating his death, but I guess I see that many other deaths happened at his direct hands as well. [00:05:44] It's like home insurance in the Caribbean. [00:05:51] If chances of your home getting destroyed are high, each year your premiums will be sky high. [00:05:55] For sure. [00:05:57] Thanks for the reminder. [00:05:58] Donations sent on website. [00:05:59] Thank you so much.
