[00:00:27] What passing bells for these who die as cattle? [00:00:33] Only the monstrous anger of the guns. [00:00:36] Only the stuttering rifle's rapid rattle can patter out their hasty horizons. [00:00:45] No mockeries now for them. [00:00:48] No prayers nor bells. [00:00:51] Nor any voice of mourning save the choirs, the shrill, demented choirs of wailing shells, and bugles calling for them from sad shires. [00:01:08] What candles may be held to speed them all? [00:01:12] Not in the hands of boys, but in their eyes shall shine the holy glimmers of goodbyes. [00:04:22] A madman intends to enslave the entire world. [00:04:28] Time to teach a lesson. [00:06:13] Focusing on your loss of liberties is selfish. [00:06:17] Think of what the troops are sacrificing. [00:06:21] After the war, due to the evil of the enemy, the cost and sacrifice was far greater than first anticipated. [00:06:31] It is now counterproductive to review past, quote, mistakes. [00:06:34] We all need to get on with our lives. [00:06:37] Questioning the war is spitting in the face of the wounded. [00:06:42] Our goals were not achieved, but things change. [00:06:46] Hindsight is easy. [00:06:47] The fog of war is thick. [00:06:51] We did not achieve peace, but new institutions will. [00:06:58] War is the health of the state.
