Hey everyone, Brian from Skeptoid here.
I just wanted to take a minute to remind you all to have a look at my upcoming independent film, the UFO movie they don't want you to see.
In this full-length feature documentary, we take a look at the real science behind today's popular UFO mania.
This is not a debunking film and it's not preaching to the choir.
I'm trying to make a real difference in helping everyone better inform their thoughts on UFOs with good science.
In the film, I go all over the place and talk to all kinds of people.
I spoke with two astrobiologists at the McDonald Observatory in Texas.
We are absolutely a planet that screams there is intelligent life here.
Not just life in general, but life that is contributing to its environment in a technological way.
I think with the, you know, the cosmic speed limit of the speed of light, I think it's really hard to travel long distances in the galaxy, let alone the universe.
I spoke with an astrophysicist at a telescope in Oregon.
So aliens are going to be bound by the exact same laws of physics that we are.
Their math is going to tell them the exact same thing that our math tells us.
And to assume that they can just wave the Harry Potter wand and do whatever they want is not really grounded in reality at all.
I spoke with an air traffic controller in California.
A pilot might read back the wrong altitude.
Obviously see it in the news sometimes where a pilot might try to land at the wrong airport.
Both civilian and military have done that.
I went flying with a flight instructor in Washington, D.C. Pilots are not sky gods.
They're regular people.
They put their pants on one leg at a time.
I completely dissected the Navy UFO videos with Mick West.
I won't be surprised if people in government and the military haven't seen some of my explanations because these are videos that have a lot of public interest and they keep getting asked about them and they must have looked into them and I've come up with explanations for some of them and they're probably the same explanations that they've come up with.
I even went to the home of Jimmy and Rosalind Carter in Georgia and talked about the president's own personal UFO sighting in 1969.
So Steve emailed me back and he's like, okay, we believe your story and we believe what you said, but do you have any proof?
What proof can you give us that you're Jimmy Carter's grandson?
And so I sent him my wedding photo with me, my wife, and my grandparents sitting next to me.
Pretty definitive proof that I am saying who I am who I say.
And we also spoke to the guy who solved it.
And so I started checking and sure enough, there was a Meriam Cloud that was launched from Eglin Air Force Base at the very time that Carter saw the UFO.
