[00:00:02] Guaranteed human. [00:00:04] All right, news roundup and information overload hour. [00:00:06] Toll free. [00:00:07] Our number is 800 941 Sean if you want to be a part of the program. [00:00:13] The person that knows the fines of Pennsylvania politics, there's nobody that knows Pennsylvania as well as Selena Zito. [00:00:22] She will join us in a minute. [00:00:25] She was the first person to tell me that you got to get to know. [00:00:31] Senator John Fetterman. [00:00:32] She actually told me when Fetterman was running against Oz that he'd be far more formidable, even though he was struggling at that time. [00:00:40] And when I had John Fetterman on my podcast, if you haven't watched it, watch Hanging Out with Sean Hannity. [00:00:45] And the first thing I said to him, I apologized to him out of the gate because I was wrong about him. [00:00:52] Now, there were a lot of indications that kind of concerned me about how left he would be, but he has proven to be the only reasonable Democrat. [00:01:02] In the U.S. Senate. [00:01:04] And it's sad. [00:01:05] Now, we are coming up on a deadline as it relates to the issue of the War Powers Act, at least in the minds of the Democrats. [00:01:12] And John Fetterman actually brought it up on his own when he was on my TV show on Monday. [00:01:17] And here's what he said It's almost as if, you know, we've forgotten on the Democratic side that the real enemy, the real threat, the real danger is Iran and its proxies, too. [00:01:31] And, you know, every single Democrat. [00:01:34] We want to break Iran. [00:01:35] We make sure they never acquire a nuclear bomb. [00:01:38] As we are approaching that 60 day of the war powers in the law, Iran must be so excited by the American media and the Democratic parties, the way they, it's like as long as we can hang on for 60 days, more and more people continue to vote against the Trump administration to end the Iranian regime. [00:02:02] And so why can we be this close and allow them to acquire a nuclear bomb? [00:02:08] So that's my real concern. [00:02:10] There's been a deep dive article written by our friend Selena Zito. [00:02:15] Now, she, of course, is a national political reporter for the Washington Examiner. [00:02:19] She wrote the best selling book, The Untold Story and Near Assassination of Donald Trump. [00:02:24] She was right there in the front row, right next to Donald Trump, when that assassination attempt occurred in Butler. [00:02:31] That was a best selling book. [00:02:32] And in this op ed, he takes a long, hard, deep dive into Senator Fetterman. [00:02:37] Pretty much everybody in the left and right has a strong opinion about Fetterman. [00:02:41] I can tell you that I was wrong about Fetterman. [00:02:44] The left now hates him, and especially after he stood against illegal immigration and for the law and order and securing our borders. [00:02:52] And he knew when he advocated for Israel after the horrific Hamas attacks on October 7th, 2023. [00:03:02] And when he has been in support of the president's actions in Iran, he knew pretty darn well that Democrats wouldn't like it. [00:03:11] And he's become, they won't say it as overtly as they really want to say it because they do fear that he will jump sides and become a Republican. [00:03:21] I can see that day maybe coming, even though Selena says that he will claim he's a Democrat through and through. [00:03:28] However, if the Democratic Party, if they try to primary him, I think he's up in 28 or so. [00:03:32] I'm not sure what year. [00:03:35] If they try to pull any of these shenanigans, I think all bets are off. [00:03:39] Anyway, Selena Zito is with us. [00:03:40] Great piece you wrote about him, and you were right about him. [00:03:43] I was wrong about him. [00:03:45] And. [00:03:46] I don't know if you saw the podcast I had with him, but I mean, we've become really good friends. [00:03:52] We text often. [00:03:55] Oh, yeah. [00:03:55] By the way, I love your new podcast. [00:03:57] If people aren't listening to it, they should because it's just very casual. [00:04:02] It's very interesting. [00:04:04] And it feels like a warm glove you just set in and hang out. [00:04:10] I like it a lot. [00:04:12] Well, I really appreciate it. [00:04:14] And when you're down here, we look forward to having you jump on with us. [00:04:18] And people can watch it, by the way, on YouTube. [00:04:22] It's Hanging Out with Sean Hannity. [00:04:23] Just. [00:04:24] You know, put that in the search bar and you'll find it. [00:04:26] And we have a really good one we dropped with Gary Brecker today. [00:04:30] And we had a really, really good one with Kyle Bush the other day. [00:04:35] Man, did that make news! [00:04:36] Whoa. [00:04:37] I mean, he's like the bad boy of NASCAR. [00:04:42] So, as we go deeper into this piece, I don't think anyone has a crystal ball, but you and I both know this is the truth. [00:04:51] Democrats hate him, but they kind of feel stuck with him. [00:04:55] They know they're not going to be able to influence him or influence his vote, but they don't want him to leave the caucus either. [00:05:02] So they walk on eggshells around him. [00:05:04] And he's more friendly with the president and people like me and prominent conservatives than he is with anybody in the fake news media or anybody on the Democratic side of the aisle. [00:05:15] That's just a fact. [00:05:16] Yeah, it's a fact. [00:05:17] And, you know, here's the problem with switching party. [00:05:22] You know, he's in the 90th percentile and voting with Democrats. [00:05:25] That's a struggle for a Republican primary voter who might have another Republican in running against him in a primary. [00:05:33] A lot of us sure should remember what happened to Arlen Specter when he switched parties in Pennsylvania. [00:05:38] That went down badly, and he lost to Joe Sestak. [00:05:42] He left because he was afraid of a primary with Pat Toomey. [00:05:48] And so there's a challenge there if Fetterman leaves the party. [00:05:54] Although, you know, maybe he might even be better off running as an independent. [00:05:58] But. [00:05:59] Anyways, what I thought was most interesting, Sean, is he has a couple of guys sort of nipping at his heels every time he's on social media or any time that he's on a show like yours. [00:06:13] Brendan Boyle, congressman from Philadelphia, Connor Lamb, the former congressman who Fetterman defeated in 2022, and not just defeated, he annihilated him. [00:06:27] He won by 30% of the vote and won all 67 counties. [00:06:32] And then there's Chris DeLuzio, Congressman from Western Pennsylvania. [00:06:37] And they're sort of all like yipping at him. [00:06:39] He calls them the ankle biters. [00:06:42] He used another word in front of ankle. [00:06:45] I'm sure y'all can imagine what it was. [00:06:48] But when I sat down with all three of them, they immediately retreated, sort of like Homer Simpson in the bush, right? [00:06:59] When I asked them, I'm like, okay, you're going to run against him? [00:07:03] And, you know, Boyle has, you know, he is, if the Democrats win the House in November, he'd be the chair of the budget committee. [00:07:14] Why would he leave that? [00:07:15] Why would he, you know, sort of lead the safest congressional district in the state? [00:07:22] And Connor Lamb has three children, one of which is an infant, and he didn't really appear to have fire in his belly when I pressed him on it. [00:07:33] And DeLuzio, to his great credit, never output transcript Outwardly, you know, goes on Twitter and criticizes him, but they do part ways on Iran. [00:07:45] So I don't even know that even all of this sort of noise that we hear, right, and this, you know, sort of torturing of him, I don't know if any of these guys run at the end of the day. [00:07:58] I don't think they do. [00:07:59] I agreed with your analysis. [00:08:01] Here's an interesting side note. [00:08:02] Now, you can certainly correct me if I'm wrong. [00:08:05] I get the very strong impression, and I've never talked to Fetterman about it. [00:08:10] That he and Shapiro are not the best of friends. [00:08:12] Am I right on that? [00:08:14] Oh, no. [00:08:14] Yeah, that's like the worst kept secret in Pennsylvania that nobody talks about. [00:08:19] They got into a, first of all, they have very, very different styles. [00:08:23] Although, interestingly, they ran in the same year and they both have won with a robust amount of vote. [00:08:29] They won with a lot of Trump voters. [00:08:32] But they got into sort of a disagreement over the parole board. [00:08:40] When John was the lieutenant governor and Shapiro was the attorney general, right? [00:08:49] Both of them are in state government. [00:08:51] That was ultimately decided on, and they went their separate ways, but they are cordial, but I would never call them buddy buddy. [00:09:01] All right. [00:09:04] So the question is I think there's no doubt, and it's very clear that Josh Shapiro has presidential ambitions. [00:09:13] I think he has been moving more solidly to the left than he had previously been, knowing that the base of the Democratic Party has been radicalized. [00:09:23] I believe one of the reasons Kamala Harris passed him over had to do with the issue of Israel. [00:09:28] Am I wrong in my perception? [00:09:30] Oh, no. [00:09:31] He turned her down. [00:09:32] And in other words, he didn't want to be associated with her. [00:09:34] No. [00:09:35] But recently, he's been critical of Israel. [00:09:37] Quite the political athlete, right? [00:09:40] He parses his words. [00:09:42] Like when you hear him talk about Trump, it's the same way. [00:09:45] He never gets personal with Trump. [00:09:47] Ever. [00:09:48] He will criticize his policies, but he doesn't get critical of the man. [00:09:52] Of the man. [00:09:55] In fact, I did a Washington Post interview with him about it. [00:09:58] And I will tell you here's my prediction about Josh Shapiro. [00:10:03] I'm not 100% convinced he runs for president. [00:10:06] I'm not either. [00:10:07] I think he's going to conclude, rightly so, that he can't win a primary. [00:10:11] Also, and we had an interview where he said this. [00:10:15] What happened to him at the governor's mansion? [00:10:19] People don't realize that guy was that guy. [00:10:21] By the way, that was horrible. [00:10:23] They firebombed his house. [00:10:25] With him and his young children and his wife in the house. [00:10:28] And it was a severe fire. [00:10:31] I mean, their lives were at risk. [00:10:32] And he was only, people don't realize this. [00:10:35] That guy was only feet away from his bedroom door. [00:10:39] Yep. [00:10:39] It was terrible. [00:10:40] It was absolutely terrible. [00:10:42] And he told me he and his family really struggled with the decision to run again for governor. [00:10:52] And that's not him sort of trying to get political points by, or, you know, emoting. [00:11:00] Are you asking for sympathy? [00:11:02] You know, I've covered Josh for 30 years. [00:11:05] He was deeply shaken by that. [00:11:08] How could he not be, in fairness to him? [00:11:11] And a friend of mine is actually very good friends with him and, you know, likes him a lot personally. [00:11:17] And when he decided, I forgot what he decided not to do. [00:11:23] I said, Oh, I'm glad. [00:11:24] When he didn't get picked to be VP, I said, Well, you can tell your friend I didn't really want to beat him up that bad anyway. [00:11:30] So I'm glad he didn't run. [00:11:32] I'm glad he didn't get picked and he didn't want it. [00:11:34] All right, we continue now. [00:11:37] It's Alina Zito. [00:11:37] Then your calls are coming up 800 941 Sean if you want to join us. [00:11:41] Let me ask you this. [00:11:42] Do you think, knowing the Democratic Party as well as you do, and this is your passion, this is your vocation, do you think there is a lane for somebody that wants to be a little bit more moderate in the Democratic Party, knowing that primary voters usually are base voters, which means the more radicalized Democrats? [00:12:03] You would think that, I really fully anticipated that that would be the lesson learned from 2024, right? [00:12:13] Nope. [00:12:14] And it's not. [00:12:16] In fact, the decision has been to go full left. [00:12:20] And the autopsy has just been shoved away because more than likely it says we can't go this far left. [00:12:28] When you look at the potential candidates that the Democrats are considering running for president, right, the people that are lining up, Gavin Newsom, AOC, Harris, again, you look at them and you say, okay, I need to step back and see who could win Pennsylvania. [00:12:47] Because the Democrats have to win Pennsylvania. [00:12:50] And if you win Pennsylvania, that means you'll win Wisconsin and Michigan and North Carolina because Pennsylvania is five points more Democratic than those states. [00:13:01] The only one to me right now, and someone certainly could come out of nowhere, but the only one to me right now is Josh Shapiro. [00:13:09] I'm not convinced of two things that he runs. [00:13:13] Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. [00:13:15] But I'm also not, I'm totally convinced that he would really struggle to get through a primary in South Carolina. [00:13:21] Or Iowa. [00:13:22] People think Iowa and they think conservatives. [00:13:25] Iowa's Democrats are far left, the ones that caucus. [00:13:30] He would come in fourth place. [00:13:33] Yeah. [00:13:33] Maybe third if he's lucky. [00:13:35] Yeah. [00:13:35] The party has left him. [00:13:37] Unfortunately, I mean, I watch his attempts and I kind of feel bad for him because I find them disingenuous. [00:13:44] I know it's politics, so I'm not faulting him for it. [00:13:49] But his attempts sound a little more radical to appeal to that base. [00:13:53] Just. [00:13:54] They don't come off as sincere to me or sincerely held beliefs to me. [00:13:57] No, because that's not who he's ever been. [00:14:00] And that's where I think that he will struggle as well because he will ultimately challenge himself to be himself, right? [00:14:13] You can be a very adept political athlete and also know that, look, this just doesn't ring true. [00:14:20] Even if I can get away with it, do I want to get away with it? [00:14:23] You've got to read Selena Zito. [00:14:24] You have your website too and your social media. [00:14:27] How can people find you? [00:14:28] Oh, sure. [00:14:29] It's SelenaZito, S A L E N A Z I T O.com. [00:14:31] Or you can follow me on Twitter. [00:14:37] It's ZitoSelena. [00:14:38] Selena, we appreciate you. [00:14:39] You are a political national treasure. [00:14:42] And thanks for being with us. [00:14:43] Thanks for having me. [00:14:44] All right, quick break right back. [00:14:46] Then your call's coming up 800 941 Sean if you want to be a part of the program. [00:14:50] Now, as we mentioned earlier in the program, this is Bring Your Children to Work Day. [00:14:54] My children are working, so they're not coming to the studio today. [00:14:58] They do come quite often, actually. === Finding Selena Online and Social Media (06:18) === [00:15:00] I've been coming to the podcast more than anything because it fits their work schedule better. [00:15:04] Linda's youngest, Liam, who put him on earlier in the program. [00:15:08] Now, Liam, are you still with us? [00:15:09] Yes. [00:15:10] Are you having fun? [00:15:11] Yes. [00:15:12] Question Is your mom in the room? [00:15:14] Yes or no? [00:15:14] Because I asked your mom to leave the room. [00:15:18] And, Liam, you can't lie. [00:15:18] You got to tell the truth. [00:15:19] Yes. [00:15:20] He's in the room. [00:15:21] Your mom's still in the room. [00:15:23] Can you tell your mom to get on the mic for a minute so I can talk to your mom? [00:15:27] And then I'll talk to you in a second? [00:15:28] Yes. [00:15:29] Thank you. [00:15:29] I appreciate it. [00:15:31] Man. [00:15:31] Now, that means Katie lied to me. [00:15:33] Jason lied to me. [00:15:34] No, no. [00:15:36] And Linda lied to me. [00:15:38] She's not here. [00:15:38] Out on the other side of the studio door. [00:15:41] So she's on the other side of the studio door open? [00:15:44] No, the door is not open. [00:15:46] I'm not believing any of you, but you know what? [00:15:48] There's nothing I can do. [00:15:49] However, Liam, I want to give you a chance to revise and extend your remarks. [00:15:53] That's a term used by the House of Representatives in Washington. [00:15:57] I asked you earlier, and your mom was putting pressure on you, and your mom makes you air fried french fries. [00:16:03] And then when I interviewed you when you were younger, and finally you had gotten your first taste of McDonald's french fries, you told me you loved McDonald's more than your mom's fries. [00:16:12] You really do like McDonald's more. [00:16:14] You can tell the truth if your mom's not there. [00:16:16] We won't tell her. [00:16:17] Which one do you like better? [00:16:19] McDonald's, right? [00:16:20] You like McDonald's better? [00:16:21] Yes. [00:16:21] You can say it. [00:16:22] You do. [00:16:22] And it's like so much better than air fried French fries, right? [00:16:26] Sorry. [00:16:27] Say that again. [00:16:28] It's so much better than air fried, right? [00:16:30] There's so much tastier. [00:16:32] No, I don't like McDonald's fries that much. [00:16:35] Oh. [00:16:35] Is there any place you do like their French fries? [00:16:37] What's your favorite French fried place? [00:16:39] Chick fil A, probably. [00:16:40] Oh, you like Chick fil A? [00:16:41] You like those fries? [00:16:43] The waffle fries? [00:16:44] Yeah, they're pretty good. [00:16:45] Is that your favorite? [00:16:46] Yeah. [00:16:47] Of all time, the waffle fries at Chick fil A are your favorite. [00:16:50] Yeah. [00:16:51] What's your favorite burger place? [00:16:53] Which place do you like? [00:16:54] What's your favorite burger that you've gone and had? [00:16:56] I don't really have one. [00:16:58] You don't have one? [00:17:00] Your mom doesn't take you very often, does she? [00:17:02] Not really. [00:17:04] Does your mom take you out for pizza very often? [00:17:06] Not that much anymore. [00:17:09] Not that much anymore. [00:17:10] Does your mom make you eat only her cooking for the most part? [00:17:14] Yeah, mostly. [00:17:17] Yeah. [00:17:17] Wouldn't you like it better if you can order a pizza? [00:17:21] From your favorite pizza place, you've had good pizza in your life, right? [00:17:24] Yeah. [00:17:25] Yeah. [00:17:26] And how great is that? [00:17:27] The best, right? [00:17:28] Yeah, pretty good. [00:17:30] And your mom won't order that for you when you ask, will she? [00:17:32] Not when I, not if I don't ask, then she won't order it. [00:17:35] But if I ask, usually she will order it. [00:17:38] But I don't ask for anything. [00:17:39] Now, do you like mac and cheese? [00:17:41] Yeah, it's pretty good. [00:17:42] Does your mom make it? [00:17:43] Mmm. [00:17:45] Or you get it on your own when you're out? [00:17:47] Just checking. [00:17:48] You can invite your mom back in. [00:17:49] Anyway, I hope you're having a great day. [00:17:51] You're having a good day today? [00:17:52] Yup. [00:17:53] Well, because you're working for the show today, that means you have to get paid. [00:17:56] You know that, right? [00:17:58] I wish. [00:17:59] What do you think? [00:18:00] Is 20 bucks enough for the day? [00:18:02] Yeah, that'd be pretty good. [00:18:04] 20 bucks would be pretty good? [00:18:06] Yeah. [00:18:06] How about 25? [00:18:06] Okay. [00:18:08] All right, that's a deal? [00:18:09] Yeah, sure. [00:18:10] All right, sure. [00:18:10] All right. [00:18:11] I'll make sure you get 25 bucks for showing up at work today. [00:18:15] We appreciate you. [00:18:15] You're better than a number of people that work for me now, especially people that don't tell me the truth. [00:18:21] I suspect they're not telling me the truth. [00:18:23] We were telling you the truth. [00:18:25] We were telling the truth. [00:18:26] She's back here. [00:18:26] She's back now. [00:18:28] Oh, she's back now. [00:18:30] Here I am in all my glory. [00:18:31] Yeah, well, guess what your son's favorite french fries are? [00:18:34] You're not right, and I'm not right either. [00:18:36] That's what his favorite french fries are. [00:18:38] I don't know. [00:18:38] What is it? [00:18:40] Chick fil A. Chick fil A. Waffle fries. [00:18:42] Oh, the waffle fries are right there. [00:18:44] Not your fries. [00:18:44] Not your air fried french fries. [00:18:46] The ones that are. [00:18:46] This is what happens when I leave you for two seconds. [00:18:48] You turn on. [00:18:49] You can't turn on the family. [00:18:51] And you know what else? [00:18:52] He likes pizza from a pizza place, and you hardly ever buy it for him. [00:18:57] What do you mean I don't ever buy it for him? [00:18:59] You've never made Kraft mac and cheese for your son, have you? [00:19:01] You've never made it for that kid. [00:19:02] I make Annie's. [00:19:04] Annie's. [00:19:04] Annie's with the powder? [00:19:06] So, Liam, go ahead, turn your mic on. [00:19:08] Say what you're saying to me to Sean. [00:19:11] You don't. [00:19:11] Go ahead, tell him. [00:19:14] You don't. [00:19:14] Go ahead, tell me. [00:19:15] You don't order like pizza or stuff that much. [00:19:18] You just make food. [00:19:19] I just cook every night like a dedicated wife and mother. [00:19:23] Oh, my God. [00:19:24] The horror. [00:19:24] The horror is right because your pizza is not as good as your local pizza place. [00:19:30] I know you think it is, but it's not. [00:19:32] And Kraft mac and cheese deluxe is way better than Annie's, you know, organic mac and cheese. [00:19:39] It's actually delicious. [00:19:42] I have nothing against Kraft mac and cheese, but Annie's is delicious. [00:19:45] I'm asking myself, it's not delicious. [00:19:47] First of all, you probably had it 100 years ago before you went to school. [00:19:50] But I've told my young kids, which I've been doing recently, they always say, can we have Sean's mac and cheese? [00:19:56] Which is what? [00:19:56] Which is Kraft deluxe mac and cheese. [00:19:59] The real stuff with the gooey orange goop. [00:20:02] Are you paying them a royalty fee since you've taken on their name? [00:20:05] No, they call it Sean's mac. [00:20:07] Can I have Sean's mac and cheese? [00:20:09] Well, I will tell you. [00:20:11] And I have Sean's ribs. [00:20:13] And I have Sean's ribs. [00:20:14] I have Sean's steak. [00:20:16] He's meat. [00:20:17] He's potatoes occasionally. [00:20:19] He likes certain potatoes I make. [00:20:20] But if he wants mac and cheese, you give him Annie's. [00:20:23] Oh, good. [00:20:24] He likes Annie's. [00:20:25] I'm glad you are not my mother. [00:20:27] I'm so glad my mother didn't cook for me either. [00:20:29] You would have been in time out for me. [00:20:31] I'd have to buy what I wanted. [00:20:32] I'd buy my own food since I was eight years old. [00:20:35] Thank God I'm not a kid. [00:20:37] Oh, God, Sean, stop it. [00:20:38] You were shopping at the grocery store at eight years old. [00:20:41] No, I was going to pizza places and delis and McDonald's as soon as they built one of those restaurants. [00:20:47] That's a snack. [00:20:48] That's not a meal. [00:20:49] No, no, that was my meal. [00:20:50] I'd get these huge, massive heroes, and my three older sisters would hover over me and try and take bites of my food, and I'd take my food in my room and lock the door. [00:21:02] They'd try to steal it. [00:21:03] Yes, including Aunt Teddy, my own sister. [00:21:06] To our busy phones, let us say hi to Don in Wisconsin. [00:21:12] Don, how are you? [00:21:12] Glad you called, sir. [00:21:14] Doing great, Sean. [00:21:15] Hey, it's just a pleasure and an honor to talk to you. === Virginia Redistricting Referendum Take (07:18) === [00:21:19] Hey, I wanted to get your feedback, and I'll hang up and hear you online, but. [00:21:24] The main thing is the Virginia vote turned out no, or turned out yes in an overwhelming vote. [00:21:31] And I'm kind of worried because. [00:21:33] It actually wasn't an overwhelming vote. [00:21:34] It was very, very close. [00:21:36] And we already have a court that has put a hold and a stay on it and said it's unconstitutional. [00:21:42] I did see that. [00:21:43] I don't think it's going to. [00:21:44] And I said this in the beginning, and I said it the day of, and I said it before, and I said it after, that this will be subject to judicial review and it won't pass muster. [00:21:55] I'm seeing a trend, though. [00:21:57] That with all these other votes, I'm kind of worried for the midterm. [00:22:03] If this war lasts any longer, it's going to hurt Trump. [00:22:06] So just wanted to get your feedback on that and see and keep up. [00:22:10] My best guess is it is unconstitutional. [00:22:12] There's supposed to be not one state legislator, but two legislative sessions that pass this constitutional amendment. [00:22:21] That didn't happen. [00:22:22] There's supposed to be an interceding election, meaning a general election. [00:22:26] That didn't happen. [00:22:27] The wording was abusively biased. [00:22:29] I think they have a problem with the wording. [00:22:31] I think it was inaccurate, unfair. [00:22:33] So I don't think it stands up on judicial review. [00:22:37] That's my best prediction. [00:22:38] I can't say for sure. [00:22:39] You never know with judges. [00:22:40] But as of now, it has been ruled unconstitutional. [00:22:44] And I think that's where it's going to end. [00:22:46] I hope I'm right. [00:22:47] All right. [00:22:48] Susan in Virginia will get her take on it. [00:22:50] Hey, Susan, how are you? [00:22:51] Hey, Sean. [00:22:52] How are you doing, Sean? [00:22:54] I'm good. [00:22:55] How are you doing? [00:22:56] What's going on? [00:22:56] I'm doing great. [00:22:57] Well, I just wanted to reach out to you about what the previous caller was talking about a little bit about Virginia here. [00:23:05] I've always been a proud Virginian up until this past fall. [00:23:10] Now I hate to say it, but I am almost embarrassed to say I'm from Virginia. [00:23:14] I wanted to talk a little bit more about that redistricting referendum that you were talking about earlier and kind of Get a little more of your take on that. [00:23:26] Supposedly, according to the Democrats in this state, it was about, quote unquote, restoring fairness and representation, which actually, if it does end up passing, hopefully it won't, it'll cause us to have a ratio of 10 Democrats to one Republican. [00:23:46] I don't quite see how that's supposed to be fair. [00:23:49] It is not by any objective measure fair. [00:23:52] The map itself wouldn't hold up. [00:23:54] But more importantly, they didn't follow the very specific constitutional process for an amendment. [00:24:00] Republicans knew all of this going in. [00:24:03] Now, they still tried to win the amendment. [00:24:05] They got a lot closer than I thought they would get. [00:24:08] And unfortunately, I don't even see Virginia as too much of a purple state. [00:24:13] I see it as a blue state. [00:24:15] But I don't think it will stand up to judicial review. [00:24:19] I said it at the time. [00:24:20] So far, my prediction is coming correct. [00:24:23] However, you could run into a liberal justice here or there, but it will be expedited because the November ballot's coming up. [00:24:29] Well, I absolutely hope that you are right. [00:24:31] And as you said, the wording on the ballot was something my husband and I went back and forth about because even in the description in the ballot, it said this is basically to temporarily adopt a new congressional district to restore fairness to upcoming elections. [00:24:51] If that's not biased, I've never heard biased. [00:24:55] That's pretty biased, there's no doubt about it. [00:24:57] Yeah. [00:24:57] No doubt about it. [00:24:58] You, Sean, you even have people here who are talking about wanting to succeed from the state of Virginia because of this. [00:25:07] I mean, the only good thing I can say about this is that you've kind of opened the eyes of a lot of people, I think, who didn't go out and vote this past fall in the governor election. [00:25:17] So hopefully it's opening some more eyes and going to help. [00:25:21] It's not for lack of trying. [00:25:22] I knew Abigail Spamberger was a phony. [00:25:25] And she's far more leftist radical than she ever led on. [00:25:30] She did it by design. [00:25:31] She knew she would only be a one term governor because their term limited out. [00:25:35] And it's sad because Glenn Youngkin did a great job as governor. [00:25:38] And in a blue state, he was able to win. [00:25:41] He didn't win by a huge margin, but he did a great job as governor. [00:25:44] Unfortunately, Northern Virginia now has been inundated with Washington bureaucrats, and it's hard for a Republican to win statewide. [00:25:51] Just this. [00:25:52] Appreciate the call, Susan. [00:25:54] Hang in there. [00:25:55] We'll keep you updated. [00:25:56] Richie in Pennsylvania, Sean Hannity Show. [00:25:59] Hi. [00:25:59] Hey, Sean. [00:26:00] How are you? [00:26:01] I'm good, sir. [00:26:01] What's going on? [00:26:02] Thanks for taking my call. [00:26:03] Do I thank you or Katie for taking my call? [00:26:05] I don't know. [00:26:07] Why does everyone suck up to Katie and Linda? [00:26:09] It's so annoying. [00:26:10] Go ahead. [00:26:11] Katie. [00:26:11] I called Katie K because my mother's name was Katie and they all called her K, so I called Katie K. [00:26:18] So anyway, I called about a month and a half ago. [00:26:22] Remember, it was 25 years my granddaughter was being born and Flipper bumped me up and And that you said, don't take 25 years to call again. [00:26:31] So now my friends call me Richie25. [00:26:34] Oh, wow. [00:26:35] That stuck. [00:26:36] How many years has it been since you called, though? [00:26:40] Well, it was 25 years, and I called you about a month and a half ago. [00:26:46] And that's where you said, don't take 25 years to call. [00:26:48] So I'm calling. [00:26:50] I'm glad you're now sticking with the program. [00:26:52] I hope maybe you're tired and you don't have to. [00:26:54] No. [00:26:55] I always listen to you, and I go back to Hennady and Combs, which I love. [00:27:00] You and Alan were what a team. [00:27:02] Thank you. [00:27:03] Gentlemen. [00:27:04] And when you guys argued, there was no insanity like today. [00:27:09] You guys were very professional. [00:27:11] We were relatively mild and peaceful back then, and we went at it. [00:27:14] But God rest his soul. [00:27:18] He died way too young. [00:27:20] Very sad. [00:27:22] Wasn't he related to Monica Crowley? [00:27:24] Yes, he was married to Monica's sister. [00:27:26] That is correct. [00:27:27] That's well known. [00:27:28] Sister. [00:27:29] I'm calling. [00:27:29] I'm an Air Force vet. [00:27:31] I just wanted to mention, she said, stay on point, which I did last time because of that Minnesota. [00:27:37] Fiasco. [00:27:38] I listened to Katie's standpoint, which I did. [00:27:41] I never got any of my points across to you because we got involved with that stupid Minnesota thing. [00:27:47] John Feniman, now being I live in Pennsylvania, I'm from Jersey originally, but John Feniman, at first when he ran, we hated him. [00:27:56] And now he's my hero. [00:27:58] And it's just a matter of time when he crosses over. [00:28:02] And do you feel, he's a cool, he's a very cool guy. [00:28:05] He's a really, and he's got common sense. [00:28:08] He's so at odds with his own party, I have a hard time understanding why he stays with them. [00:28:12] I appreciate the call, 800 94 1 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program. [00:28:18] All right, that's going to wrap things up for today. [00:28:20] Hannity tonight, 9 Eastern, on the Fox News Channel. [00:28:23] Steve Hilton, there's a huge debate out in California to replace Governor No Show, Newsom, Kaylee McGee White, and much more. [00:28:31] So, you DVR Hannity tonight, 9 Eastern, on Fox. [00:28:33] We'll see you then. [00:28:34] Back here tomorrow. [00:28:35] Thank you for making this show possible.
