Sean Hannity Show - Future Wars, Election Battles, and America’s Security Debate Aired: 2026-03-05 Duration: 31:41 === 47 Years Of Regime Threat (14:20) === [00:00:00] This is an iHeart podcast. [00:00:02] Guaranteed human. [00:00:04] All right, news roundup and information overload hour. [00:00:06] Here's our toll-free telephone number. [00:00:08] If you want to be a part of the program, it's 800-941 Sean, if you want to join us. [00:00:13] With the exception of John Fetterman, Democrat Pennsylvania, Linda's senator, with the exception of him, most Democrats in the House and the Senate have been nothing but critics of Donald Trump taking out Iran's nuclear capability and insisting that Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. [00:00:35] Why they're so short-sighted, I don't know. [00:00:38] Why they are so naive? [00:00:40] I don't know. [00:00:41] I guess they would have preferred that Donald Trump follow in the footsteps of the likes of Obama and Joe Biden and drop cargo planes full of cash and other currency on the doorstep of the Supreme Leader and the Ayatollahs and the Mullahs in Iran. [00:01:00] But instead, Donald Trump chose to partner with Israel and take all of these people out. [00:01:06] And then when they had their Security Council meeting to pick the next Supreme Leader, they took all those people out. [00:01:12] And probably anyone else that emerges as a potential leader, I would say their life is in imminent danger. [00:01:20] The Qud forces leader also now has been taken out. [00:01:26] This is a class to be studied for centuries in terms of the magnitude of the intelligence and military might of the U.S. and our partners in Israel in this endeavor. [00:01:41] And I can't think of anything that's been so far more successful. [00:01:45] And I can't think of a more noble cause than preventing our children and our grandchildren from one day having to do with a nuclear-armed Iran, which is a radical Islamic fascio state, a fascist state that is hell-bent on death to Israel, death to America. [00:02:06] It was either take it out now while you can, or you will be held hostage. [00:02:10] The world will be held hostage forever until they eventually, likely, one day, use it all, because there are a lot of hardliners there. [00:02:19] Why is it that there are so few on the left and then this little pocket of isolation as lunatics on the right even that don't understand the existential threat that is a nuclear-armed Iran? [00:02:34] I'm having a hard time understanding their mindset. [00:02:37] Or why is Hakeem Jeffrey saying we're going to lose? [00:02:40] I'm like, oh, are you cheering for us to lose? [00:02:42] Sean, I don't get it either. [00:02:44] We are winning. [00:02:45] You heard Caroline Levitt's latest update, and I was in that classified brief last night with General Raisin Kane, with Secretary Rubio, Secretary Hegstaff, Director Ratcliffe. [00:02:58] Look, we've destroyed their Navy. [00:03:01] We've now struck more than 2,000 targets. [00:03:03] We're only into day five of this conflict. [00:03:07] It's remarkable what's happening. [00:03:09] Sean, we're going to look back at this moment over the course of the next few weeks. [00:03:13] When we look at history, President Trump will be rewarded richly. [00:03:18] And you said it very well. [00:03:20] We're parents of four. [00:03:21] We're grandparents now of seven. [00:03:24] We're taking the fight now to the Ayatollahs and to this regime and to removing the nuclear capabilities before eventually they will take us. [00:03:32] You don't get a second chance against Iran. [00:03:34] They were on the cusp of building out the nuclear capabilities as well as their ballistic missile capabilities that would overwhelm Israel, overwhelm our bases in the Middle East, and would have capabilities to hit the homeland. [00:03:49] So this is one of, I think that's one of President Trump. [00:03:51] He's got a lot of greatest of all time moments. [00:03:54] I got to put this one on the short list. [00:03:56] I mean, between the intelligence and the precision military operation, and I've been saying for years that future wars are not going to be fought on a battlefield. [00:04:07] They're going to be fought in air-conditioned offices, and people are going to be pushing buttons, and that's how war will be fought. [00:04:14] And we better be on the cutting edge of that technology. [00:04:17] I think we already are well on our way. [00:04:20] And obviously, the Golden Dome will be a big part of that to defend this country against any attack by any other enemy country. [00:04:27] We have a lot of geopolitical foes. [00:04:30] But, you know, I've never seen an operation this successful. [00:04:34] It starts out in the first 30 seconds by taking out not just the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, but all of his top 40 lieutenants. [00:04:43] And then when they have the Supreme Council meeting to pick his successor, they took out everybody in that room while they were voting. [00:04:51] I would imagine there's not too many people that really want to line up to be the next leader of Iran. [00:04:56] That's my guess. [00:04:57] Sean, you and I are both old enough to remember the pre- You're older than me, so let's not push it here. [00:05:05] Well, you know, I serve in the Senate after all. [00:05:07] It's an old place. [00:05:08] But you think about 47 years of this regime. [00:05:14] There's only been two Ayatollahs in 47 years. [00:05:18] The first one that came to power in 79 during the revolution served 10 years. [00:05:23] Khamenei, the Ayatollah that the Israelis took out on the first minutes of this campaign, he was there for 37 years. [00:05:33] So I think sometimes we might lose perspective around how significant that initial strike was in terms of their leadership and command and control. [00:05:43] But that was cutting off the head of the snake, followed up with this incredible, massive campaign from the air. [00:05:49] And as it's been reported publicly, the cadence and tempo of what we are doing with the two most powerful air forces in the world, to quote General Kane, are the United States and the Israelis. [00:06:02] We now are in full fledge taking out their launchers. [00:06:06] As has been said, you move from intercepts on what they shoot at us to now going after the archers. [00:06:12] They say, shoot the archers, and we can stop worrying about the arrows because we're going to take out all of their ground-based missile launch capabilities. [00:06:20] This is absolutely one of, we'll look back at this one of the greatest military exercises. [00:06:26] You combine what the Delta Force guys did under President Trump's direction with Maduro and Venezuela with what they're doing in Iran. [00:06:33] It's truly remarkable. [00:06:35] And this is going to be a reset for the world. [00:06:38] Imagine a world where Iran, God willing, when the Iranian people rise up and replace the regime, a world like we had decades ago where Iran would be pro-West, a signer perhaps someday of the Abraham Accords. [00:06:52] What would that do for a reset in the Middle East and what it also does in terms of the pressure it puts on China and Russia on the overall global chessboard? [00:07:01] So this is a moment that, again, the president is going to be rewarded richly by the history books. [00:07:08] You know, my hope and prayer is, is that the end result of this is peace in the region that we have not seen in, what, a thousand years for crying out loud. [00:07:18] And I think it's going to, there is a real possibility. [00:07:23] The president's relationship with Gulf State countries, the president's relationship with other countries in the region, the president's special relationship with Israel, I think when this is all said and done, and hopefully the Iranian people will rise to the occasion and they will now put in place a democratic republic and a duly elected leader that is not part of some religious fanatical theocracy and freedom once again will flourish. [00:07:51] The Persian people in the past have flourished greatly. [00:07:54] And they have been oppressed since 1979. [00:07:57] And that's my hope. [00:07:59] And my hope is that there will be peace deals, building upon the Abraham Accords, etc. [00:08:05] Well, Sean, you talked about the future of warfare, how it will be increasingly sophisticated and run from air-conditioned offices. [00:08:13] But what's so dangerous about the future with the current regime in Iran is that over time we'll combine a very sophisticated military capabilities with medieval ideologies. [00:08:27] That's the danger with Iran. [00:08:29] They're stuck in medieval times with the brutal radical Islamic ideology. [00:08:35] That is absolutely the most dangerous combination on the planet. [00:08:39] And that is why we had to act now because they were on the path to get nuclear capabilities. [00:08:46] And at some point, Sean, we would have been virtually unable to knock out Iran without having incredible losses on our side. [00:08:56] And so this is why President Trump, seven presidents have dealt with this. [00:09:00] We finally had a great one there in President Trump who took the action. [00:09:04] It's not easy to have moral clarity and to make these difficult decisions, but he did it. [00:09:10] And I can tell you something, I'm so proud of him. [00:09:12] I'm so proud of our military, Sean, as well. [00:09:14] They are just executing virtually flawlessly in this campaign. [00:09:19] And our prayers are with the families who are behind with their loved ones in harm's way, that God would protect them and we'd be victorious decisively here sooner versus later. [00:09:29] What do you say to those people I find breathtakingly naive and even downright stupid that try to make the case, well, this is not in America's best interest. [00:09:40] It absolutely is in America's best interest. [00:09:43] Or, you know, this is really Israel's war that President Trump has been pressured into fighting Israel's war. [00:09:49] I've known Donald Trump for over 30 years. [00:09:51] Donald Trump doesn't take orders from anybody, period, end of sentence. [00:09:55] Or the isolationists that would like to put their head in the sand and not be proactive, but rather reactive. [00:10:05] At that point, it's too late. [00:10:07] At that point, you're risking losing millions, if not tens of millions of American lives. [00:10:14] And I'm like, what part of this are you missing? [00:10:16] What part of this radicalism are you missing? [00:10:19] What part of death to America are you missing? [00:10:22] Sean, when somebody calls the United States of America the big Satan and they say death to America, you need to take that seriously. [00:10:31] Look, they call Israel the little Satan. [00:10:33] They call us the big Satan. [00:10:35] We are the number one target of Iran and of this current regime. [00:10:39] I want to be careful to separate the people of Iran from this regime. [00:10:43] But that is why taking the fight to him now is absolutely the right thing to do because this will save countless lives over the course of the future years, perhaps the next generation. [00:10:57] With Iran with a nuclear weapon, with intercontinental ballistic capabilities, would literally be able to take the world hostage. [00:11:05] And as we are seeing in terms of Iranian capability to fight, they've got some pretty good ballistic missiles. [00:11:11] They've got some pretty good capabilities. [00:11:12] It's just we are far superior. [00:11:14] But now we could take them out with minimal types of collateral damage. [00:11:18] Imagine what this might be like in a few years from now, 10 years from now. [00:11:21] You would not be able to repeat what we're doing right now. [00:11:24] All right, quick break more with Senator Steve Daines of Montana on the other side. [00:11:29] Then we'll get to more of your calls coming up, 800-941-Sean as we continue. [00:11:39] All right, we continue now with Montana Senator Steve Daines is with us. [00:11:43] What do you make of, I see that Speaker Johnson announced that he's going to bring the SAVE Act back to the House and schedule that for a floor vote. [00:11:55] And, you know, it's a simple, you know, no-brainer to me, proof of citizenship to vote in an American election, voter ID to vote in an election. [00:12:06] But the idea that the House will allow this to go forward and even let the Democrats, you know, have a standing filibuster, I think is a good idea. [00:12:17] I know that in the Senate they've been reluctant to do that. [00:12:21] Where do you stand on it? [00:12:22] Sean, in Montana, if you came out and you want to get a fishing license, you got to produce a valid ID at Walmart to get it. [00:12:30] You want to shoot a deer? [00:12:31] You got to produce a valid ID to get it. [00:12:34] You want to vote? [00:12:35] You should have to produce a valid ID. [00:12:37] You want to buy a beer in Montana? [00:12:39] Do you need to have an ID? [00:12:41] If you want to buy a bottle of wine, do you need an ID? [00:12:45] If you want a jewel pod or a nicotine pouch, do you need an ID? [00:12:49] All of the above, Sean, and that's why it's just ludicrous the Democrats would fight us on this. [00:12:55] This is a foundational issue of election integrity. [00:12:59] The Democrats should join us. [00:13:01] They should vote with us and vote for this. [00:13:05] And I relish the ability to put Democrats on the record in terms of being opposed to it. [00:13:10] And it shouldn't 80-20 for most Americans, left or right side of teeter-totter. [00:13:16] It's an 80-20 issue, and I don't believe in these fake filibusters anymore. [00:13:20] Now, I know what the fear is in the Senate that, oh, well, if you do that, you force a real filibuster, then the Democrats have control of the floor, and they could try to force votes on issues that they believe they want to put the Republicans on record on. [00:13:37] I would argue to Republicans, you don't need to show up for those votes. [00:13:40] You don't need to listen to what Chuck Schumer's agenda is. [00:13:43] Well, we generally try to put earplugs in when Chuck Schumer speaks anyway. [00:13:47] But no, I agree. [00:13:48] We need to take this fight, take it to the floor, and we need to put the Democrats on record. [00:13:53] And this is an important one to prevail on. [00:13:56] I totally agree. [00:13:57] All right. [00:13:58] What kind of fishing do you do out in Montana? [00:14:01] You know, when I'm having rough days, I'm thinking maybe a ranch in Montana would be a good life for me. [00:14:06] I don't know. [00:14:06] Hey, Sean, give me a call. [00:14:08] I can show you some great places. [00:14:10] I've had a fly rod in my hand since I was a little boy. [00:14:13] Fly fishing is too much work. [00:14:15] You got to keep casting and casting and casting, and then I don't know how to cast the right way. === Experiment in Grocery Shopping (04:07) === [00:14:20] And people try to teach me, and I suck at it. [00:14:22] Is there any other just regular fishing? [00:14:24] I can drop a line in a body of water and catch something good. [00:14:30] We can do that, Sean. [00:14:31] But let me just tell you something. [00:14:32] Before you get too quick here to criticize fly fishing, what we do is we put it in a driftboat on a great river like the Yellowstone or the Madison. [00:14:39] And unlike a river runs through when Brad Pitt was making those massive casts with a stunt double, you just have to cast about 20 feet in front of you. [00:14:47] It's simple. [00:14:48] I've been out with a lot of new folks in the sport. [00:14:50] You'll catch fish. [00:14:51] You'll see some great country, and you'll be hooked on the sport. [00:14:54] So give it a try, Sean. [00:14:56] I think you might like it. [00:14:57] All right, I'm going to take you up on it. [00:14:58] I think you're going to have to teach me how to do it because I've not been a good student in the past. [00:15:02] The one time I tried it. [00:15:04] Anyway, Steve Daines, Montana, we do appreciate you, man. [00:15:06] Thank you. [00:15:07] Hey, thanks, Sean. [00:15:08] 800-941, Sean is a number. [00:15:10] want to be a part of the program. [00:15:42] Now that we made some money for our sponsors, let's go back to making the liberals crazy. [00:15:49] The handman is back on the radio right now. [00:15:53] All right, 25 now till the top of the hour, 800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program. [00:15:59] Health, wellness, fitness, longevity. [00:16:03] You want to be the healthiest you for 2026 and beyond. [00:16:07] Well, that's where our friend Peter Harris and his family come in. [00:16:11] They have created Grainberry Cereal. [00:16:13] I want you to do an experiment the next time you go grocery shopping. [00:16:17] I was grocery shopping on Sunday, Linda. [00:16:20] I was there Sunday. [00:16:21] And it's a grocery shop, by the way. [00:16:24] Terrible. [00:16:25] Because everybody grocery shops on Sunday. [00:16:27] It's bananas in there. [00:16:28] No, no, it's empty because I go just before they close. [00:16:32] Okay, you go at night. [00:16:33] That's different. [00:16:33] And the other thing is, is they stock up their meats for the next day. [00:16:39] So I get all the new meat when I go late on Sunday. [00:16:43] Very smart on my part, right? [00:16:45] And then I get asked, what are you doing here? [00:16:48] Does that question not shock you? [00:16:49] It shocks me. [00:16:50] Well, because I guess they figure since you're keto and you're out doing your ninja all the time, who could fit in food shopping? [00:16:57] But there you are in all your glory on your fresh meat. [00:17:00] Well, you're one of the few people that know in real life I am a complete and total loser. [00:17:05] So, I mean, you could admit that. [00:17:07] But if while you're there grocery shopping, look at the cereals that you ate when you were growing up. [00:17:13] Whatever it was, I don't know, Frosty Flakes, Raisin Bran. [00:17:17] Look at how much sugar are in those cereals. [00:17:20] Then you pick up a box of Grainberry, Grand Flakes, Grainberry Raisin Brand, their honey nut, apple cinnamon, their cinnamon frosted. [00:17:30] Then you compare how much less sugar is in their cereal. [00:17:35] And Grainberry is lower in sugar. [00:17:37] It's made with natural plant-based fiber and antioxidants along with their own whole grain onyx sorghum. [00:17:44] Now, that helps slow sugar absorption. [00:17:46] The taste is phenomenal. [00:17:48] You're going to love it. [00:17:49] And you can find it. [00:17:50] Now, it may not even be in your cereal aisle. [00:17:53] It may be in the health food aisle because it's that much better. [00:17:56] And then you can put cereal back in your diet, not worry about all that sugar you're putting in your body. [00:18:01] And the other great product that Peter Harris and his family have is called Linda. [00:18:07] Silver palette pasta sauce all day every day. [00:18:10] No, it's not sauce, and it's no sugar added, and they got great flavors. [00:18:15] Again, when you go grocery shopping, look for greenberry cereal silver palette pasta sauce. [00:18:22] Delicious. [00:18:23] You're going to love it. [00:18:24] And it's healthier. [00:18:25] The official foods of the Sean Hannity Show. === Price Debate (05:45) === [00:18:28] Just to get to some other news that has been going on. [00:18:32] This was a funny moment today. [00:18:34] You had Tim Walz and Keith Ellison on Capitol Hill getting grilled over fraud and what they knew and when they knew it. [00:18:43] Nancy Mace asking Tampon Tim, what is a woman? [00:18:47] Maybe the wrong guy to ask, but here's how that went down. [00:18:50] Governor Walls, what is a woman? [00:18:54] Have you learned that lesson? [00:18:55] Do you know what a woman is? [00:18:56] I'm the governor of Minnesota, Congress. [00:18:58] I'm not here to be your prop for your obsession. [00:19:00] So if you can't define what a woman is, you certainly can't define what fraud is. [00:19:05] If you can't even define what a woman is, you can't define fraud. [00:19:09] Well, the problem is, this is the same guy that wanted to put, you know, feminine products in boys' bathrooms and grammar schools. [00:19:17] What a dope. [00:19:18] All right, let's get to our busy phones. [00:19:20] 800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program. [00:19:23] Don in Iowa. [00:19:24] Don, how are you? [00:19:26] Glad you called. [00:19:26] Thanks for being with us. [00:19:28] Hi, Sean. [00:19:29] Thank you for taking my call. [00:19:30] I appreciate it. [00:19:31] I'm a longtime truck driver and a Marine veteran. [00:19:38] Semper Fire, and thanks for what you do every day. [00:19:41] The only reason our store shelves are full are because of you truckers. [00:19:45] We appreciate your hard work. [00:19:47] Well, thank you, sir. [00:19:48] I appreciate it. [00:19:49] I've been listening to you since the Hannity and Combs days. [00:19:53] So thank you for helping formulate my opinions on world politics. [00:19:57] I appreciate it. [00:19:59] I appreciate it. [00:20:00] Thank you. [00:20:00] I was in the Marine Corps during the first hostage taking at the embassy in 79. [00:20:07] And I've actually had friends that were in that circumstance. [00:20:11] I was also on duty the night that we did the rescue attempt. [00:20:17] I was in telecommunications in a comm center relaying messages between them and the situation room. [00:20:26] So I've got a little bit more insight onto what's going on. [00:20:31] And I tell you what a lot of liberals don't understand, this wasn't about liberating the people of Iran. [00:20:40] That was a great unintended consequence. [00:20:44] This wasn't just about stopping the nukes, which Iran has proven that they cannot have any kind of weapons because they just launched missiles at everybody just now because they were being attacked. [00:20:59] You know, what kind of responsibility does that show? [00:21:02] That shows that they have absolutely no appreciation for life anywhere. [00:21:09] My condolences, by the way, to the six soldiers and Marines that were killed recently. [00:21:18] Five of them, I believe, right out of Des Moines, which is where I enlisted in the National Guard after my son did in 2002. [00:21:30] You know, it's just that is the price of war, and it's very unfortunate it happened. [00:21:35] But again, we have stopped, President Trump has stopped nuclear weapons from being in the hands of an absolute madman. [00:21:45] And that was not just the biggest thing. [00:21:49] It was absolutely essential. [00:21:52] He had to open the Straits of Hormuz, or the world oil shortage would have been devastating for everybody. [00:22:01] We're already up again over $4 a gallon, by the way, in diesel and gasoline, or at least diesel. [00:22:09] Gasoline, I think, is still staying under around. [00:22:12] By the way, I'm very sorry about that because that means less money in your pocket and that makes your job harder. [00:22:18] The only thing I can say that maybe will give you hope, I think this will be temporary. [00:22:22] That's my guess. [00:22:24] Always is with President Trump. [00:22:26] He always knows the right path back to prosperity for us. [00:22:30] A small price to pay. [00:22:32] The biggest price came to those six families. [00:22:35] And so I'm willing to pay this small price for all the freedoms that President Trump has just given on this here. [00:22:44] 47th year of occupation. [00:22:48] That means there are 90 million people, half of which probably have never seen freedom, that now have freedom and hopefully will make the right decisions going forward. [00:23:02] 45 million of them are women that have never even been able to show their faces in public. [00:23:09] Liberals, listen to that. [00:23:10] Think about it. [00:23:11] Those women are free. [00:23:14] Those children are free to grow up. [00:23:17] Persians are some of the most intelligent mathematicians in the world. [00:23:21] And the world would never get to experience that without what Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth just did. [00:23:27] It was just a remarkable thing. [00:23:30] I have a son in the Navy. [00:23:32] I have a niece in the Army. [00:23:33] I have a grandson in the Marine Corps, all of which I pray for all the time. [00:23:39] And again, I couldn't tell you how sorry I am for the six families, but understand that, again, the price of freedom is always high. [00:23:50] It's so high. [00:23:52] It's so awful. [00:23:53] I wish there wasn't evil in this world. [00:23:57] But I will tell you, a nuclear-armed Iran, I mean, the potential for mass death in the millions is great. [00:24:08] And they fought to protect future generations. [00:24:11] And that's what this fight really is about. === Strange Juxtaposition (06:10) === [00:24:13] It's not about us in this moment, although they could have had them pretty quickly. [00:24:17] And God only knows what they would have done with them. [00:24:20] Thank you, my friend. [00:24:21] Thanks for your service. [00:24:22] Thanks for what you do every day. [00:24:24] We appreciate you. [00:24:25] Michigan Todd is next on the Sean Hannity Show. [00:24:28] Sir, how are you? [00:24:29] Glad you called. [00:24:30] Thank you very much, Sean. [00:24:32] Thanks to your call screeners for keeping me apprised of where everything was and keeping me informed of that. [00:24:38] And before I start the call, I'd just like to ask all your listeners to remember our warfighters and our leaders in their prayers. [00:24:47] Amen. [00:24:48] I can't say it any better because you know what? [00:24:52] They're putting their lives on the line for, again, future generations and for a cause to keep America safe and secure. [00:25:00] And we are forever grateful. [00:25:03] Amen to that. [00:25:04] Now, this is going to be a strange juxtaposition. [00:25:06] I listened to you last week talking a little bit about hypnosis and with everything going on in the world. [00:25:12] I appreciate you taking the phone call. [00:25:13] But I was just going to call and maybe set a couple things straight that you were talking about last week, Sean. [00:25:20] Go right ahead. [00:25:22] All right. [00:25:23] One of the things that you were talking about was the suggestibility test that hypnotists do, especially in a stage show or something along those lines, which, you know, having people lock their hands together, one hand raises up or one hand goes down. [00:25:38] Those were all. [00:25:38] So that's the actual technique. [00:25:40] That is not a susceptibility test, but that is the way that they literally can take over somebody's mind. [00:25:49] And I believe that hypnosis is real. [00:25:51] Do you agree or disagree? [00:25:53] Oh, no, I'm a practitioner of it, and I totally agree. [00:25:56] However, what I disagree with on that is you can't give too much power to the hypnotist. [00:26:03] The hypnotist does a fantastic job setting things up, making people believe that they have the ability to help people change. [00:26:11] But in all the studies that I've done and the training that I've had in hypnosis, one of the things that we always rely on is the fact that all hypnosis is self-hypnosis. [00:26:21] In other words, it has to start with the person because if somebody decides they're not going to be hypnotized, they're not going to be hypnotized. [00:26:28] I'm one of them. [00:26:29] You can't hypnotize me. [00:26:30] You can't get me. [00:26:32] You couldn't say to me, sit down and me follow your orders. [00:26:36] You couldn't say to me, put your hands together. [00:26:39] You couldn't say to me, take your, I don't have a watch, I have a whoop. [00:26:43] Take your whoop off. [00:26:45] Every one of those things that I just mentioned, those are commands, they're not requests. [00:26:51] And people start getting hypnotized long before the hypnotist actually gets to the, you know, put your hands together. [00:26:58] And, you know, upon my word, when I tell you to squeeze your hands, squeeze your hands. [00:27:04] There are a whole series of things that are setting people up ahead of time. [00:27:08] And the process is long begun before they begin to actually do, follow the actual commands to lock into hypnosis. [00:27:17] Oh, exactly. [00:27:17] And I totally agree with you as far as that goes. [00:27:21] And that's what I was going to say. [00:27:22] The power of the hypnotist is the setup, not necessarily the hypnosis itself, because hypnosis is such an awful word in some cases. [00:27:33] I prefer to kind of think of it as guided meditation as opposed to hypnosis. [00:27:38] I view it as differently. [00:27:40] I think it's actually very dangerous to put, to allow somebody to kind of take a little control of your mind in any way. [00:27:48] And then you have, you know, hypnosis of the masses. [00:27:51] I mean, I think Hitler-Germany would be a great case in point. [00:27:54] I think the worship of the Iranian mullahs, and you'd see people beat themselves till they were bloody, you know, at these rallies that these lunatic, you know, supreme leaders would have to prove their loyalty. [00:28:08] I think that, you know, to go out and kill in the name of Hitler or for people to have families and their job every day is to go to work and kill thousands of people and go home and eat dinner with your family. [00:28:24] There's something really off in the mind of people that don't have a conscience that interferes with their ability to do something that evil. [00:28:34] Oh, exactly. [00:28:35] And that's where I say, I mean, you're not going to go any deeper and you're not going to do anything under hypnosis that you wouldn't allow yourself to do, which is where I say the power lies with. [00:28:46] I actually don't agree with you on that. [00:28:49] Well, you know, it is. [00:28:52] Well, let me give you an example and tell me if I'm wrong. [00:28:55] Okay, go ahead. [00:28:56] Look at the images we've seen out of, let's use Nazi Germany or, you know, these big massive rallies that used to take place in Iran with Ayatollah Khomeini and now Ali Khamani and all these people in the crowd just chanting robotically how much they love their leader and worship at the altar of their leader. [00:29:21] And these leaders then indoctrinate them into putting bombs and strapping bombs on them and promise them 72 virgins in heaven if they kill themselves and kill the infidels and kill innocent men, women, and children. [00:29:34] You don't think that's mass hypnosis? [00:29:36] I'm not exactly sure it is. [00:29:38] I think in that particular case, it's fanatical religion is what that is. [00:29:44] But, you know, you mentioned Hitler as an example. [00:29:46] I mean, Albert Speer, who was one of, was an architect and the head of munitions for Hitler, did a marvelous job setting up all the grounds in Nuremberg where all these rallies took place. [00:29:58] And those people that would come were already susceptible to what was going to be happening to them. [00:30:05] However, they were the ones that were still in control, Sean. [00:30:08] And I don't believe it's always the hypnotist that's in control because the people have to allow themselves to allow that to happen to them. [00:30:18] Look, I mean, I don't think we're too far apart, but all I would say to you is it's real. === Wrapping Up Today's Discussion (01:17) === [00:30:23] Discussing. [00:30:24] And that people, you know, and there's a fear-factor, natural human fear that causes people to conform versus rebel. [00:30:34] And maybe they're two sides of the same coin. [00:30:37] That's a different issue for a different day. [00:30:39] But very thought-provoking, Todd. [00:30:41] I wish I had more time to delve deeper into it with you. [00:30:45] I think I'm going to do this maybe on, I don't know. [00:30:48] We'll do it on a show one day. [00:30:50] Anyway, I appreciate the call. [00:30:52] 800-941-Sean is a number.
