Why don't we dip in?
The president now is taking questions in the Oval Office.
Linda, what do you think?
We'll dip in.
Let's see what the president has to say.
And instead, you have almost 100% of the chips are made in Taiwan.
It's so disgraceful.
The good news is it's all coming back.
Yeah, please.
Mr. President.
Mr. President.
Thank you, Mr. President.
I wanted to just follow up on Venezuela.
In these talks with Maduro, is there anything that he could say or do that would allow you to feel like he could stay with your support?
Is there anything that he could say that you would be, okay, you can stay?
It's hard to say that.
The question's a little bit tricky.
I don't think it was meant to be tricky.
It's just that, look, he's done tremendous damage to our country, primarily because of drugs, but really because we have that problem with other countries too.
But more than any other country, the release of prisoners into our country has been a disaster.
He's emptied his jails.
Others have done that also.
He has not been good to the United States.
So we'll see what happens.
At a certain period of time, I'll be talking to him.
Mr. President, Mr. President, can you just follow up?
You mentioned your voice and you were shouting about trade.
Which country in particular upset you with India?
No, no, a country wanted to try and renegotiate the terms of their trade deal.
And I wasn't happy about it.
Well, which country was it?
People want to know.
Why would I say that to you?
I can't believe it.
Mr. President, a World Cup, if you would.
Seattle and the World Cup.
The new mayor-elect of Seattle is a Democratic Socialist.
Seattle has...
Or beyond.
I watched her.
That's more than socialism.
Right, Seattle has six World Cup games.
How closely are you going to be watching that city with the crime in that city?
Well, if we think, and I'll have to speak to Johnny about this, but if we think that the mayor of LA is incompetent, everybody knows that.
You know that I was there, I guess, two years ago, and we got all the federal permits taken care of, far more complex than the state permits and the city permits.
And Lise Eldon, who's a superstar, got everything taken care of.
The toughest part, you know, having to do with the fires, that should have never happened.
If they let the water come in, it wouldn't have happened, right?
Do you know that people aren't building their houses yet?
I mean, can you imagine that?
And if we didn't go in early on, Christy, I think we can say it.
Well, the head of their police department said it, they were unable to handle it.
You would have had, not only did you have the fires, but you would have had total insurrection in Los Angeles.
And if we didn't go in, and the head of, you know the gentleman, he said it and he said it strongly, said we could not have done it without the federal government.
We did a great job.
If we think there's going to be the sign of any trouble, I would ask Johnny to move that to a different city.
We have a lot of cities that would love to have it number one, and we'll do it very safely.
So if we think there's a problem in Seattle where you have a very, very liberal slash communist mayor, I would say, you know, it's certainly beyond just liberal.
I watched her over the weekend.
Wow.
that's another beauty we got there but if we think there's going to be a problem we'll johnny can i say we will move I don't think you're going to have this problem, but we're going to move the event to someplace where it's going to be appreciated and safe.
Yeah, well, I think safety and security is the number one priority for a successful World Cup.
We can see today that people have trust in the United States when we see at the tickets, ticket sales.
We sold record-breaking figures of tickets, almost 2 million already sold out of 2 million that we have been selling.
This is because people, they know that they will be coming here and they will experience a safe and secure world.
This is the responsibility, of course, of the government, of Secretary Norm, of everyone.
And obviously, we will, I mean, we will discuss, we are working together, we have a task force for this.
And we must ensure that all fans coming from abroad or being here, they can experience a celebration of coming together of the sport.
And this goes only with 100% safety.
We are communicating with all these mayors about what their responsibilities are.
They know the safety and security of these events is their number one responsibility.
And we'll be there.
The President's always there to keep Americans safe.
But he also makes sure the people that know their responsibilities and that they're prepared to host these events and do so in a safe manner.
There was some news this morning from an Axio's report that Senator Ted Cruz was laying the groundwork for a potential 2028 presidential run.
Could I get your reaction to what you could you see yourself supporting Senator?
Well, he's a friend of mine.
I mean, you know, I haven't spoken to him about it.
It's a little early.
It's three and a quarter years.
That's a long time.
But he's a very good guy.
He's a very good friend of mine.
You remember we had quite a campaign against Ted, and it worked out quite nicely.
We'll see, where are we?
But I'm not that surprised to hear that.
Mr. President, on the tariff exemptions, you had some recently on a variety of different goods.
I'm wondering, are you ruling out going forward no more exemptions on products?
You're mentioning a disagreement with hundreds of millions of dollars in tariff money.
We're going to be issuing dividends later on, somewhere prior to, you know, probably in the middle of next year, a little bit later than that, of thousands of dollars for individuals of moderate income, middle income.
We're going to pay down debt.
You know, we have a lot of money from tariffs.
If we didn't have tariffs, this nation would be in serious trouble.
And we've taken in tremendous amounts of money.
And you know what's more important than that?
We've protected our businesses from being raided like we did with the chip business.
Now we're bringing them all back.
But we had 100% in the chip industry, and then they left.
They went mostly to Taiwan and South Korea, but mostly Taiwan.
And they have almost 100%.
And we're going to have within a short period of time a big percentage of the chip business that are coming back because of tariffs, because they don't want to pay the tariffs, because the tariffs will be very steep if they don't come back.
And they've committed to come back.
As you probably heard, Apple is now up to $700 million.
We have NVIDIA at $600 billion.
We have tremendous amounts of money pouring in.
Our country has become amazing again and really, really rich again.
I will say this.
We have a decision we're waiting for.
It's a very big decision.
The numbers that we've taken in, if you talk about investments, it's trillions, not with a B, not with an M, millions, but trillions of dollars.
I can't imagine having to give that money back on something that we're allowed to do.
And the ones that are fighting us are countries largely, they're back in countries that have been ripping us off for years, using tariffs to rip us off.
And now we're able to defend ourselves.
It really is a matter of national security because economic security is national security.
So I think you're going to see another thing happening.
I think you'll see food prices.
They've come down very substantially since Mike.
But I think you're going to see food prices coming down very substantially.
Saudi Arabia, tomorrow you're hosting Saudi Arabia.
Are you planning to sell F-35s?
to Saudi Arabia and also are you looking at doing a similar security agreement like you did with Congress?
Yeah, no, I am planning on doing that yet.
You've been a great ally.
They've got to like us very much.
Look at the Iran situation, what we did in terms of obliterating, you know, their, we obliterated their nuclear capability.
Yeah, I will say that we will be doing that.
We'll be selling F-35s here.
Mr. President, I'm going to pass something you post on Truth Social last night.
You urged House Republicans to vote in favor of this Epstein release bill.
They're going to vote on it tomorrow.
I just want to be super clear on your position.
Do you want to see that pass the Senate?
Would you sign that bill if it gets to your desk?
I do want to say, here's what I want.
We have nothing to do with Epstein.
The Democrats do.
All of his friends were Democrats.
You look at this Reid Hoffman, you look at Larry Summers, Bill Clinton, they went to his island all the time, and many others.
They're all Democrats.
All I want is I want for people to recognize the great job that I've done on pricing, on affordability, because we brought prices way down, but they're going way lower.
On energy, on ending eight wars and another one coming pretty soon, I believe.
We've done a great job.
And I hate to see that deflect from the great job we've done.
So I'm all for it.
You know, we've already given 50,000 pages.
You do know that.
Unfortunately, like with the Kennedy situation, with the Martin Luther King situation, not to put Jeffrey Epstein in the same category, but no matter what we give, it's never enough.
You know, with Kennedy, we gave everything and it wasn't enough.
With Martin Luther King, we gave everything and it's never enough.
We've already given, I believe the number is 50,000 pages, 50,000 pages.
And it's just a Russia-Russia-Russia hoax as it pertains to the Republicans.
Now, I believe that many of the people that we, some of the people that we mentioned, are being looked at very seriously for their relationship to Jeffrey Epstein.
But they were with him all the time.
I wasn't.
I wasn't at all.
And we'll see what happens.
What I just don't want Epstein to do is detract from the great success of the Republican Party, including the fact that the Democrats are totally blamed for the shutdown.
You know, they cost our country hundreds of billions of dollars with that and a lot of inconvenience.
So I'm for any, they can do whatever they want.
We'll give them everything.
Sure, I would.
Let the Senate look at it.
Let anybody look at it.
But don't talk about it too much because honestly, I don't want to take it away from us.
It's really a Democrat problem.
The Democrats were Epstein's friends, all of them.
And it's a hoax.
The whole thing is a hoax.
And I don't want to take it away from really the greatness of what the Republican Party has accomplished over the last period of time.
Mr. President, on affordability, isn't it?
The shutdown is now over.
And administration officials had said when the shutdown ends, they'll reevaluate the farmer relief.
Now we have the deal with China.
So is the administration still looking to dish out farmer relief now that the government is backwards?
I'm always going to help our farmers out there.
Are you still looking to do that?
I would do that.
Yeah, if they need relief, we'll be there for them.
We're going to always be for our farmers.
Yeah, please do the best.
Mr. President, just speaking of the economic impacts of FIFA and possibly moving to another city, some games, if you feel it's crime, is there like a timeline that you would do that?
Because these cities, there's sponsorships, there's economic impacts for these communities.
Sure.
You know, the governors are going to have to behave.
The mayors are going to have to behave.
You know, in the case of California, you have a problem.
You have high crime.
And you have a place that just suffered great fires and everything else, and they didn't do a very good job.
And if we didn't go in from the crime standpoint, you would have had a disaster.
It would have been, it was not going to be handled properly.
It wasn't able to be.
The head of the police said, as I said, without the federal government, they could not have done it.
So here's the story.
I love Los Angeles.
If they want help during this, I would love to send in National Guard or whoever's necessary to help them.
I want it to be great.
I'd love it to be in Los Angeles.
I love the place.
It's a natural for Los Angeles.
If we think there's going to be crime, if we are obstructed by the governor, and maybe he won't obstruct, maybe it'll be great.
But I'd love for him to call and say, you know, we'd like to have some extra help.
Because if there's even a hint of a problem, we want to get in there before the problem occurs.
We want to make it totally safe for Johnny and FIFA and all of the great people that are going to be there.
And I think that's going to happen.
I would be honored to help California if they're going to have a problem.
And if they think they're going to have a problem, they should say so.
We can be in there in 24 hours' notice and do a great job.
But Mr. President, a year, by the end of the year, by the end of the first quarter?
Well, I think this, if they would tell us now, they're not going to have a problem.
Because if we go in, they don't have a problem.
Look at D.C. There's no crime in D.C. anymore.
And D.C. was a mess.
If they want us to go in, I'd like them to tell us right now.
But if we go in, there will be no problem.
There will be no crime.
What's the message meant to local businesses who are?
All right, for stations along the Sean Hannity Show Radio Network, the president has a gaggle.
It's in the Oval Office of the White House.
We are going to continue our coverage.
I know some stations along our network are going to be taking a break, but for stations that want to stay with us, we will continue our coverage.
It's okay with me.
Whatever we have to do to stop drugs, Mexico is...
Look, I looked at Mexico City over the weekend.
There's some big problems over there.
If we had to, would we do there, what we have done to the waterways?
You know, there's almost no drugs coming in through our waterways anymore.
Isn't it down like 85%?
It is, sir.
I don't know who the 15% would be.
It wouldn't be you.
No, that's for sure.
No, I think it's been.
Tons and tons of taxes.
You would say that's a big signal.
Absolutely.
We have almost no drugs coming into our country by the sea, by, you know, the waterways.
And you know why, okay?
I mean, it's pretty obvious.
Would I do that on the land corridors?
I would absolutely.
Look, every boat we knock out, we save 25,000 American lives.
Not to mention the destruction of families.
These families are decimated forever.
The mother, the father, the children, they never recover really from it.
You know, when you lose somebody like the way they live, you lose them.
But the way they die is horrible.
So when we knock out a boat and we save 25,000 lives, that's great.
Now, do I feel the same way about the corridors that they use?
We know every one of them.
We have every one of those corridors under major surveillance.
We have nobody coming in through our southern border, but we know exactly how they get their things here, how they get the drugs here.
Fentanyl, cocaine.
Colombia has cocaine factories where they make cocaine.
Would I knock out those factories?
I would be proud to do it personally.
I didn't say I'm doing it, but I would be proud to do it because we're going to save millions of lives by doing it.
Would you actually join with Mexico's permission, Love?
I wouldn't answer that question.
I've been speaking to Mexico.
They know how I stand.
We're losing hundreds of thousands of people to drugs.
So now we've stopped the waterways.
But we know every route.
We know every route.
We know the addresses of every drug lord.
We know their address.
We know their front door.
We know everything about every one of them.
They're killing our people.
That's like a war.
Would I do it?
I'd be proud to.
I'd probably go into Congress and say, hey, and you know what?
The Democrats and the Republicans would both agree.
Unless they're crazy.
And they are a little crazy on the Democrat side.
But we have lost hundreds of thousands of people to your death.
And that's not talking about family destruction.
It's talking about that.
And much of it comes through Mexico.
So let me just put it this way.
I am not happy with Mexico.
Okay.
Thank you very much.
Thank you, Pratt.
Thank you, Press.
Thank you, Price.
Thank you.
Thanks, Arnold.
I just got your favorite.
All right, that's the president of the Oval Office with an impromptu press conference.
Later, he's going to be talking about affordability.
And also, we're getting ready this week.
The Saudi leader, MBS, the crown prince, will be at the White House for high-level talks aimed at deepening economic and defense ties.
I know a lot of this is probably going to be...
One thing on this part is that the idea that all of these Arab nations for all of these decades have been totally...
completely unwilling to ever try to be a part of the solution with the conflict with Israel, and many of them at different times have had their own conflicts with Israel.
All of this really went away when Donald Trump took out Iran's nuclear facilities because they all feared Iranian hegemony in the region and a nuclear-armed Iran themselves.
It wasn't just Israel that was part of this existential threat.
If you think the Iranians, when you get into the Shia-Sunni battle, if you don't think that there is great animosity between those two countries, you don't understand their history.
And the idea, and Jordan felt the same way.
That's why Trump was able to create a coalition going back into his first term of intelligence sharing that I didn't think we'd ever see in our lifetime.
Now it's at a whole other level.
That culminated in his first term with the Abraham Accords.
And I would not be surprised at some point that these other countries joined in the Abraham Accords, including the Saudis as well.
For those people that are suspicious of, you know, countries.
Too many of these countries have been in the middle.
Too many of them have played both sides.
Too many of them have.
At some point, you've got to have moral clarity.
But if they are true to their belief and their commitment, and remember, a lot of these countries, too, have their own problems.
I mean, General Assisi has the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
There's the own issue of radicalization in Jordan that King Hussein is dealing with.
And the Saudis and Wahhabism and so on and so forth.
There has been a purging of a lot of radicalism that's taking place.
Do they still have, is there great trepidation, fear, intimidation by the threat of radicalism in all these cases?
Absolutely.
Do all of these leaders live in fear of waking up the next day?
Absolutely.
So it's very historic times in so many different ways, and the whole world is changing too.
I've got to get into this whole mindset.
And believe it or not, I think the most insightful comments came from Bill Maher.
We'll get into that coming up in the course of the program.
Today, I want to do remind people that if you can, you want a JACE emergency medical case for you and your family, and that would include, you know, emergency medications at your house on hand if that God forbid moment comes.
Now, there are particular times of the year where emergency rooms, frankly, especially over holiday weekends, are just overwhelmed because there's a shortage of staff because everybody wants to be on vacation around the holidays.
A, B, then you usually have the third, fourth tier medical care because the best doctors are off of the holidays.
And it is such a blessing and such a peace of mind to know that you have JACE emergency medications available, emergency medications right there at your house if God forbid you need them.
And then you worry about whether or not your pharmacy is open on a particular day or whether or not you can get in touch with your own doctor on a particular day.
They will provide all these emergency medications.
You'll have them on hand, 10 prescription antibiotics.
It's the most affordable, the most secure way to get these essentials.
And up to a 12-month supply of your daily prescription medications, you can get from Jace Medical as well.
They'll send it right to your house.
I mean, again, it's like, you know, the new world that we're all living in.
It's simple.
Get your own family emergency medical case.
It's the Jace emergency medical case.
Go to jaze.com, jaze.com.
If you put in the promo code, Hannity, you'll get $25 off on your order.
It's that simple and it's that convenient and that easy.
We've got now, it is an emerging mindset of stupidity.
There's actually the belief that the future of the Democratic Party is going to be rooted in the likes of Mamdani.
Wait till I tell you what's going on in New York.
Hakeem Jeffries is going to be primaried by a Mamdani disciple, an acolyte.
People are thinking what's happened in Seattle and New York City is going to be duplicated around the country.
Kathy Hochl, the governor of New York now, changing all of her positions because she desperately wants Mamdani's support.
And we'll tell you about the AOC factor as well.
One corrupt politician at a time.
This is the Sean Hannity Show.
All right, 25 now till the top of the hour, 800-941, Sean, our number, if you want to be a part of the program.
Listen, we've got so much to get to.
Unbelievable.
I want to play, I want to start with Bill Maher on his show on Friday talking about Mamdani and socialism.
I was surprised, actually.
I know Maher made a lot of comments and a lot of criticisms, but this is so dead-on accurate to hear from him.
I don't know.
I mean, there are some Democrats that have some basic common sense.
I mean, there's nothing he says here I disagree with.
Democrats must recognize that Zorhan Mamdani is the future of the party.
Unfortunately, it's the Republican Party.
We've run this experiment many times, and the results are always obvious.
In 1990, Venezuela was wealthier than Poland, but then Poland, finally free of Soviet-style economics, went all in on capitalism.
And now their economy is as big as Japan, and people there have high wages, low inflation, cars, vacations, homes.
Meanwhile, Venezuela traded capitalism for Hugo Chavez's socialism for the 21st century, which turned out to be like socialism in the last century or any century.
A mess.
It turned one of Latin America's richest countries into one of its poorest.
Low wages, high inflation, shortages, outages, 8 million people fleeing.
If you think New York can somehow reinvent this wheel, you're in for a rude awokening.
I mean, it is just spectacular what he's saying here.
By the way, I want to remind you in Ukraine, by the way, and a lot of issues of corruption with Zelensky came out this weekend, none of which are surprising to me, but it's sad.
But anyway, you know, you have the Jewish population there, you even have Holocaust survivors.
For example, what's her name?
Galena, a 96-year-old Holocaust survivor.
She spent her life in the same village.
That's where she's lived.
She's sick and alone.
It's cold.
It's bitterly cold.
And every day she's got to decide, oh, the little money she has, does she spend it on food, medication, or heating?
Now, because of the IFCJ, they've done such a phenomenal job with your generosity.
You know, you can bring hope to those people in need.
For $25, you can provide a food box packed full of life-saving essentials that are going to help feed people that are starving to death.
I mean, this is the result of two wars on two continents that Donald Trump is now trying to bring an end to.
And it's complicated and not easy.
And, you know, the lack of moral clarity among some is beyond repulsive to me, but that's a separate issue for another day.
Whatever you can do to help people in need as they fight for their survival against radical Islamists, give them a call at the IFCJ.
We have proudly partnered with them, 888-488-IFCJ, 888-488-IFCJ online.
It's Hannity4Thefellowship.org.
That's Hannity4Thefellowship.org.
All right, let me give you a quick rundown.
What is it that Bill Maher is saying here?
Linda, were you surprised by Bill Marr's comments?
I'm not surprised.
Not as much anymore.
He's really, you know what?
He's kind of middle of the road.
He hates everybody equally, which I really appreciate.
Well, that's kind of where you're coming from.
You hit everybody equally.
That's why I like it.
Okay.
But his history of socialism is dead on accurate.
What he's saying about Poland is accurate.
What he's saying about Latin America and Venezuela went from, you know, Venezuela was one of the richest countries on earth.
And now they've gone to, you know, millions fleeing it, low wages, high inflation, shortages.
Remember Jorge Ramos went there, and I mean, it was just pathetic that people were rummaging through garbage, you know, just to get bare necessity and food.
The intramural battle among Democrats is getting worse.
Roe Conna Sunday detailing why it's time for Chucky Schumer to come.
We just learned that mayor-elect Zoran Kami marks as Mamdani will need a top-level security clearance from the federal government before he takes office.
Whether President Trump's administration grants it will be, I don't know, that's going to be an interesting test.
The president said, sure, I'll talk to him at some point, but that doesn't mean he's going to get a security clearance.
I don't know if you can support the global antifada and not condemn it and not have some scrutiny as to that.
But here's what's happening.
And Mamdani, by the way, claimed on the campaign trail, he no longer wants to defund the police, but a lefty political strategist has now been tapped to oversee the transition team, is an impassioned supporter of the anti-cop movement.
Alina Leopold, executive director of an all-female transition team, was among more than 230 past and present staffers of then Mayor Comrade Bill de Blasio, who signed on June 2020 an open letter to de Blasio demanding radical change on criminal justice policies, especially the NYPD.
We are demanding the mayor act immediately, reduce the NYPD operating budget by $1 billion in fiscal year 2021, reallocate that money to essential social services, including housing, support, rental relief, food services, and health care.
Anyway, Leopold, who founded multiple political consulting firms, has deep ties to lefty politicians since leaving that office.
Staten Island leaders are now moving.
We talk about the boroughs of New York City.
They want to secede from the People's Republic of Mamdani in the New York Post today.
Leaders of the city's most conservative enclave are reintroducing stalled legislation for Staten Island to secede from what they fear is the People's Republic of Mamdani.
The Democratic Socialists could not be further out of sync with the values of communities in Staten Island.
I'd argue that this time around, Democrats won't want to stop the borough secession because it would make it even less likely ever that New York City elects a Republican ever again.
I think the timing is right.
Maybe they'll go along with this.
Now, here's the most interesting part of everything.
Not only, remember, we highlighted that AOC came out against the old guard and Chucky Schumer and people that said that, oh, no, like Hakeem Jeffries that said, no, Hakeem is not the future of the Democratic Party.
And then Schumer wouldn't even tell anybody who he voted for.
There's no way he voted for Mamdani, but both of them are leaders in name only.
And I've been telling everybody for years, nobody wants to listen, that AOC is the real leader of the Democratic Party in Washington.
And now you have a Mamdani ally has filed paperwork to run against House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
Apparently, Schumer is not the only top Democrat facing a possible eviction.
I would not in any way, shape, or form.
It's a New York City council member.
And they filed paperwork Monday to run against Hakeem Jeffries for his Brooklyn-based congressional seat.
The Democratic Party's leadership not only is failing to effectively fight back against Donald Trump, they have also failed to deliver a vision that we could all believe in.
This guy is a close ally of Mamdani, known as the left-wing voice in the New York City Council.
I think it just shows you how they are interpreting this election, and they're not going to stop.
Now, Jeffries just shrugged it off.
Axio's reporting this.
And if you ask me a serious question, I'll give you a serious answer.
And, you know, that's not a serious question based on everything coming out of Brooklyn, he said.
And anyway, we'll see what happens, but that is a real state of play, and that's a power move by Mamdani.
Now, if you look at the New York Post, what's their headline?
Liberal politicals, the Democratic Socialists of America, are warning governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, to back Zora Mamdani's agenda or get booted from office.
Quote, third strike, and you're out.
And in other words, because Kathy Hochle has been saying, well, everything's got to go through me, and don't worry about Mamdani.
Well, here's what just happened.
She is now, if she wants to remain as the Democratic Party's even nominee, she is going to have to bow at the altar of Mamdani.
And so she's not really governor in name only either.
So you have the two leaders for the Democrats in the House and Senate, they're not real leaders.
And now you've got the Democratic Social of America.
They're just going hard deep in the paint.
And they're just basically saying, back the tax hikes of Mamdani or get out of the way and you're going to be thrown out of office.
And so then New York will, I would not even be surprised if Mamdani in a year says, I can't get as much done as I want being mayor for New York.
I really can help New York by being your governor.
Then you go out to the West Coast, then you go to Seattle.
And the Washington Post suggesting that the mayor-elect out there, Katie Wilson, may even be worse than the New York City mayor-elect, Mamdani.
This is the one that lived with mommy and daddy, 40-some-odd years old.
I'm like, great.
It's going to run one of the largest city economies in the country.
With the country fixated on New York, we've kind of ignored this a little bit, but a Democratic Socialist candidate defeated the incumbent mayor in a race last week.
Again, none of this is surprising because this is now where the Democratic Party has moved.
And this is why you're going to see every probably next to every Democratic nominee in 28.
This is who they're going to have to get the approval of if they ever dare want to, you know, get the nomination to run for president.
And I don't think once you go down that road, just like Kathy Hochle endorsed Mamdani, then Mamdani paid her back by when asked the next day if he would endorse Kochl, he said no, he wouldn't do it.
I mean, just fascinating politics behind the scenes here.
I would argue Kathy Hochl is completely beholden to Mamdani.
Her future lies in his hands, and that means she has now got to do everything he wants.
And they're now saying the quiet part out loud, which makes it even more fascinating.
Anyway, the California community organizer, Ray Wong, has announced her campaign against the establishment in her city, and that's against the incumbent mayor out there, Karen Bass.
And again, moving in the same direction.
43-year-old community organizer, Democratic Socialists of America member wrote that her campaign will focus on universal housing, free transportation, climate resiliency, affordability.
Why do you think Gavin Newsom has gone so hard crazy left?
Because Gavin is, he knows it's the only way to get the nomination.
However, he's going to inflict one wound after another.
He thinks he's going to be able to thread that needle.
It will not happen.
He will not be allowed to if he wants the support of the people that now dominate that party.
And it's getting more fascinating by the day.
And we've got cuts all over the place.
We'll play throughout the show today, but I find it interesting.
You know, the Seattle mayor is out there protesting Starbucks in Seattle, one of their largest employers.
This is insane.
And we have an issue that's emerged with anti-ICE protesting going on in Charlotte, North Carolina that we'll get to today.
But AOC, you know, she's still complaining that it worries that the shutdown deal shows the Democrats are weak.
She's beyond apoplectic and angry at Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer.
That's why Chuck Schumer's days are numbered.
Senator Tim Kaine, but he doesn't really care at this point in his career, slamming AOC. for ending the shutdown and not wanting to end the shutdown.
And people are back to work.
Paychecks are restored.
She may think it's nothing.
Virginians think an awful lot of it.
But then Roe Connell says this is the last straw for Chucky Schumer.
Then Senator Chris Murphy, Connecticut, it was a mistake for Democrats to open the government, you know, and the list goes on and on.
Former, well, soon-to-be former mayor Eric Adams, if I were a Jewish New Yorker with children, I'd be concerned right now.
And then, you know, to have the likes of Bill Maher be the voice of reason in the Democratic Party is pretty jarring to me.
And he really is the voice of reason.
And, you know, but the loudest voices now are in charge.
Zora Mamdani telling a million social media followers to boycott Starbucks.
He's joining in with the Seattle Marxist mayor.
It is pretty spectacular.
Katie Wilson.
Most of you haven't heard of her because she'd been living with mommy and daddy.
By the way, I think that is a very good, you know, that's a prerequisite, right, Linda?
In your 40s to be living in the basement, typically in your pajamas till at least three or four in the afternoon.
It's a pretty good life if you can get it.
You can't deny that.
Absolutely.
So, you know, all of this now is unfolding.
This is the biggest choice moment that this country has ever faced before.
You know, the thing that is, if there's one thing that is somewhat disturbing in all of this, it is, you know, you got crazies on the right, too.
I'm like listening to some of this commentary and the back and forth, and I'm like, okay, you people have lost your mind, but, you know, I'm not getting involved in stupidity.
I'm just not.
Majority of Democrats agreeing that extreme political rhetoric was a key catalyst in the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
New poll, 54% of Democrats said extreme political rhetoric used by some in the media and by political leaders was an important contributor to Kirk's being assassinated.
And 73% of Republicans, 53% of independent voters say about the same percentage that, according to this survey, they feel that Kirk's assassination is an incident caused by a disturbed person.
But after the election, remember there was that post-election poll that showed 95% of Americans think that there's going to be another political assassination coming.
This is, you know, these are really scary times we're living in.
And I think that I wish people would turn down the temperature.
I mean, we'll play some cuts coming up later in the program today of, you know, the anti-ICE protesters and more comparisons of Trump to Hitler.
I mean, it never seems to end.
But if you want to act the actual poll, Democrats say their party compromised too much.
What, to give people snap benefits and to open up the government and took a position that they historically have taken for decades and decades?
And 55% ending the shutdown, you know, that, oh, Trump won that battle.
Well, because it was the right thing to do, not give into a demand and being held hostage over $1.5 trillion in crazy spending.
