Lynda tackles the conversations happening in the UN that no one is paying attention, the sad news that DJ Daniel has three new tumors and the NYC rep who thinks gang databases are racist. Sigh. @LyndaMick @RogueRecapSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

When I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.
Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked why.
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries.
This is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Listen to Fiasco Benghazi on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Music Well, hi everybody.
This is the Rogue Recap, and I am Linda McLaughlin.
Happy to be with you as always.
We've been doing a ton on these shows about news that I think you're really not getting anywhere else, whether it be about what's happening in Gaza, what's happening in the West Bank, what's happening on the ground, in our classrooms, behind closed doors, what's happening with these protests, all of the stories of people that are either trying to do the right thing, getting stalwarted by our government and other governments, and just the constant either lack of information or misinformation.
And sometimes you just get a story that just makes you sad.
And one of those stories was today, I read about DJ Daniel.
You might remember him.
He was the young man that President Trump recognized during his joint address of Congress.
And he had said to him, this young man had already been through several medical procedures and had gone through quite a bit since he was a very young child in his medical history.
And, you know, has had cancer.
Today they found out that he has three more new tumors.
And it's just really, it's a really hard thing, you know, when you see somebody like that that is trying to do the right thing, trying to live a good life, and instead of getting a break, he's finding another hurdle that he's gonna have to overcome.
I just want everybody to keep DJ Daniel in your prayers.
Let's make sure that he makes it to becoming a Secret Service agent as an adult and gets to live out his dreams and be healthy and happy for many, many more years to come.
I know his parents are right by his side and they seem to have a really great family, and I just pray that that he's okay.
Because if that was my kid, that would be what I wanted from other people as well.
So let's just keep DJ Daniel in our prayers.
I've been following Wall Street Apes forever.
If you're on X, you definitely want to follow that account.
He puts up great stuff, but there's a particular individual, Luke Melquire, and he's he's all over X and Insta talking about what's happening with the aftermath of the fires in Hawaii and in California.
And if you remember a few weeks ago, I did the show of, you know, whatever happened to.
And the fires are definitely one of those things that I'm trying to figure out what's happening with it.
If you look at Mayor Bass, who's a total communist and she's a terrible human being and just wasn't there for her constituents when this fire broke out and has since hired a consultant who gets paid like some astronomical amount of money.
I think it's like 1.5 million dollars for three months to come in.
And it's like, give me a break.
You know, like we could all find contractors for far less, and somebody's definitely skimming off the top of that.
But these people lost their homes and they have nowhere to live.
They have to find new housing, they have to find new places to build new homes because the lot of land that belonged to them is either no longer inhabitable or what have you.
So this guy comes out and he notices that the people that are rebuilding in Maui are the same company that are rebuilding and doing the LA fire cleanup, which is really very odd.
It's just strange.
Why would the contract be awarded to these same for these two states for the same company?
It's just really strange.
He had a great point.
I thought it was spot on.
I thought I would play it for you guys.
You take a listen.
I think you're gonna come to the same conclusion I do, but all right.
So if you thought that my last post about the FEMA funded tiny homes was bad, this one is gonna blow your mind.
The US Army Corps of Engineers paid 396 million dollars to ECC, the same company who's doing the LA fire cleanup to clear 268 lots.
That's almost one and a half million dollars per lot, which is not only enough to clear the lots of their fire debris, but it's enough to rebuild the homes.
How can this not be corruption?
Leave me a comment.
Let me know if you think this is waste, fraud, or abuse, or if you've got your head in the clouds and you think everything is kosher with this.
Well, I'll tell you what, Luke, uh, I think it's all the above.
I think it's waste, fraud, and abuse.
I think it's such an obstruction of justice.
This is the kind of stuff that really breaks my heart, right?
Because you hope that in your darkest hours that the government will just maybe, just maybe once, because they live in the community or they see what's happening or they're on the ground, get out of their own way and actually do the right thing.
And they don't, they just don't do it.
They're always scumbags.
They're always looking to get over.
And then they'll do like one or two things right.
So you're like, oh, well, they did those two things right.
So I guess it's gonna be okay.
It's like a bad relationship, right?
Like your boyfriend is like kind of nice most of the time, and then he's like a total jerk, and you're like, oh, but he was so nice last week.
No, that's not the way it works.
They gotta be nice all the time.
You gotta treat people properly.
And that goes for the government.
They gotta treat people properly.
You know, the government is supposed to be a body elected by the people for the people.
And it just my gosh, every time I turn around, I'm like, it's worse than I ever thought.
It's so much worse.
And then I think about what happened in Maui.
I think about what happened in California, and then the weird thing, and tell me if you guys agree, right?
I'd love to hear back from you on social at Linda Mick at the rogue recap.
This is another thing that drives me nuts.
Why aren't people allowed back on their property?
Imagine this happens.
I don't know, let's say two, three weeks goes by, and you're still not letting people back on their property just to look, just to see.
Is there anything that survived?
A photo, a memento, a chair.
I I don't know, but they won't let anybody in.
Then when the news reporters went down to Maui, if you remember, they wouldn't let the news reporters in.
I'm like, oh, something's off.
Something is really, really fishy.
And I have to say, the amount of celebrities that jumped in, they're like, oh yeah, we're raising money, everybody raise money.
I'm like, bro, Oprah, the rock.
You guys don't need to raise money.
You just need to donate.
Okay.
You're a multimillionaires.
Please stop asking regular people that just got out of COVID and are trying to figure out what is going on in our country for money.
Just donate.
You're doing all right.
It's fine.
Don't take our money.
And it was just odd.
The whole thing was odd.
And California's the same way.
Karen Bass with this consultant.
I mean, now they've got the same cleanup companies and the companies are charging these astronomical fees.
Luke, you are spot on.
Super weird.
I totally agree with you.
I just think it is the strangest thing in the world that this is what they're trying to pull over.
And I just don't get it.
I'm like, what is going on?
It is nothing sacred, like people losing everything in a fire.
You're still gonna somehow capitalize on that.
It's just really upsetting.
What's also upsetting is the amount of anti-Semitism that is suddenly everywhere.
Even people that I know, I'm always surprised.
Like they're like, oh, well, you know, the Jewish people have always done so well, or the Jewish people that I'm like, okay, you've got to be kidding me.
Because a certain group of people does well, or because they have a certain type of religion, you don't like them.
It's so funny to me how that's okay when it's a Jewish or a Christian person.
But if it's a Muslim person, everybody loses their mind.
Suddenly it's not okay.
It's like, oh no, the the Muslim people don't like dogs, so we don't have dogs In this neighborhood.
Oh, the Muslim people, you know, it's gotta be halal.
If it's not halal, you know, we can't have it.
Piss off on your halal enough.
You want to do that in your house, that's fine.
But this is New York City.
This is Michigan.
This is, you know, Minnesota, all these places where there's this like sort of aggregate of people.
It's fine if that's what you want to do in your community.
But I read a story today about one community where they're dealing with them throwing away goat carcasses in like corner trash bins.
Like, yeah, that's not a thing.
This is America.
We don't do that.
That's just not how we operate here.
It's just not, it's just not.
End of story.
There was a guy here, he was at the his name is Louai Ahmed, and he was addressing the UN Human Rights Council.
And he started to talk about how each of these people from the surrounding countries around Israel were attacking Israel for everything.
But they never talked about what was happening to the people in the Middle East by fellow Muslims.
So for a moment, just step away from the let's blame Israel and Netanyahu for everything.
Let's talk about what's actually happening with the Houthis in Yemen and Syria.
Let's really talk about what's happening on the ground.
I thought it was amazing.
I asked the UN, the Arab League, and everyone who has been raising the Palestinian flag since October 7.
Where is the flag of Yemen?
In my country, half a million people have died in the last 10 years.
The biggest famine and humanitarian crisis in modern history.
Why does no one care when half a million Yemenis die?
What about Sudan?
In less than two years, more than 150,000 people have been killed.
Where is the flag of Sudan?
What about Syria?
Half a million Syrians have been killed.
Where is the Syrian flag?
Hi Commissioner, why is it that when Arabs kill millions of Arabs, no one bats an eye?
Where is the outrage?
And where are the protests?
Why don't you mention the Houthis in Yemen who have spent millions of dollars firing missiles at Israel instead of feeding my starving people?
May I ask why your report mentions Israel 188 times, yet fails to mention the Islamic regime in Iran even once?
How can you speak about the conflict while ignoring the party that has armed, trained, and funded terror proxies like Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis who have been bombing Israel thousands of times.
And why is Qatar sitting here as a member of the human rights council when they host the Hamas terror leaders in luxury hotels?
So what you just heard there, that silence?
That was a room full of people staring at him blankly.
And each one of the other nations that he mentioned when he said, Where is the flag of Syria?
Where is the flag of Sudan?
Why have you not talked about Iran?
Each of those representatives for the UN were in the room and they're staring at him because truth is a very interesting thing.
First of all, it doesn't give a shit about your feelings.
It just is what it is.
And you either choose to accept that or you deny it.
But regardless of where you stand, it stands alone and it stands tall and proud.
And that gentleman took the time as a Yemeni and he made it very clear.
I have watched my people starve.
I have watched my people die because we are spending money bombing Israel instead of feeding our children.
Danny Anon said yesterday also to the UN, he said, we will never survive until the Arabs love their children more than they hate Israel.
Truer words were never said.
You cannot thrive as a nation if your only claim is to kill another.
Now I'm not saying that you should let people walk all over you, and I'm not saying that peace is possible everywhere and that these things aren't going to happen.
But this is like hundreds and hundreds of years.
My God, it's enough.
It's not working.
And to that point, and I would play this clip, but I can't because of the fact that it's an Arabic.
They have all of these people right now, and they are going to get GHA.
GHA stands for Gaza Humanitarian Aid.
And it's supplied to the people in the West Bank who are under the helm of Hamas and they are literally being held hostage because Hamas is taking all the foreign aid that gets, you know, drop shipped in and they hoard it.
You may have seen that in the news over the last week, where all these people they're starving and they're storming, you know, these warehouses.
But then there was a rumor, you know, amongst the people on the ground, they said, you know, the United States actually has opened up a humanitarian aid facility, and they're giving out food and you know basic necessities.
So all of these people started to go because they're like, there's no way the Americans are here helping us.
Well, sure enough, we were.
And the people are chanting and rioting in the streets to get Hamas out of the West Bank, out of Gaza, out of Palestine.
But see, the problem is all those surrounding Middle East nations, they know what Hamas is.
They know what those Palestinian leaders are doing.
And they don't want any part of it.
You don't see Jordan or Egypt or Turkey.
None of those nation states are looking to take in anybody because they know they're bringing in terrorists because that's all they raised there.
That's why, interestingly enough, and I don't know where this stands right now.
You know, when Trump was talking to Netanyahu, he's like, we're just going to take it over, we're gonna redo it, we're gonna rebuild it.
We're going to make it a civilization.
We're going to give people an opportunity to thrive and to grow and to stop fighting.
If it really was about land or who was here first, that would have been over years ago.
Because we've had so many meetings between Israel and Palestine.
It's a one-state solution, it's a two-state solution.
We're gonna give you this land.
Okay, you can come in Ireland to keep your mosque here.
I mean, there's been so many negotiations, you know, from the Abraham Accords on.
But it's never enough.
And the reason it's never enough is because they are teaching hate.
They teach hate in these Muslim schools and in these, like they're not, I wouldn't even call them schools.
They're basically like camps.
And they put these kids in there and they're like, yep, you gotta hate the Jews because the Jews hate you.
Meanwhile, the Jews aren't being taught that.
The Jews are in synagogue and they're, you know, they're in their kibbutzes and they're in underground playgrounds because they have to escape the bombs.
That's the reality.
And if you've ever been to Israel, you know this.
I have.
I've been to the West Bank, I've been to Gaza, I've seen these things firsthand with my eyeballs.
And that whole expression, don't believe you're lying eyes.
When you watch the news and they filter it for you, you need to be aware of that.
You have to understand.
You are not being told the truth.
You are being told some watered down, distilled version of what they want you to know and understand.
And each network has their own agenda, right and left.
And then there's people like this gentleman who sit down in the UN as a Yemeni, and he's like, what is going on?
Look at all these Assyrian Christians.
What's going on there?
Nobody's talking about that.
It's very, very upsetting when you get to a place where truth is less important, far less important than trying to get money for weapons to kill one another based on a lie.
And that's essentially what's happening there.
So that made me really happy to see him speaking out.
I give him a lot of credit.
I hope he's okay because I feel like those are the types of people that would like come after you after you did something like that.
But he was very brave to do it.
And I thought it was incredible.
So I thought I'd share it.
Here at home, we've got some problems.
There was a testimony that was posted by an HHS whistleblower.
And if you've ever heard of uh Tara Rodas, she's done a lot of really great work.
Um, what one of the first HHS whistleblowers, her and her husband were working to rescue these children.
You know, they're godly people, they're wonderful people.
I was introduced to her through Sarah Carter, who's now our drug czar, also another amazing person who's done tons of work to rescue children.
And Tara Rodas was informing HHS and you know, uh Xavier Biserra, who was the former head of HHS, you know, what was going on.
They didn't care.
I mean, the United States is the biggest human trafficker in the world.
And we are the biggest consumer of sex trafficking and pedophilia, and there it's an epidemic, right?
And it's like a cult because there's so many people involved.
I mean, if you're watching the Diddy trial, I really want to see if they actually get to the nuts and bolts of all the other celebrities that were at these parties he threw, and if we can get them all rounded up and put them all in jail.
Because I think that's why they all are so worried, whether it's the Diddy trial or it's doge, and you're just exposing all of the corruption on every level, right?
Both financially and culturally, and and really what they're doing to kids.
The kid thing really, animals and kids, it's just you just don't go there.
But hat tip two at Real Robert.
Uh, he posted this up, and it's an exchange between Senator James Langford and he's from Oklahoma, and he was talking to this whistleblower Deborah White.
They're discussing the fact that these kids, over 300 of them were sent to the same address.
And she's explaining these are missing and abused children.
These children are being trafficked.
And they still allowed it to happen under the Biden administration.
Just really, really upsetting.
You became aware that you got 329 children that are sent to the same address.
Who else knew about that?
The entire executive leadership at Health and Human Services knew about it, as well as the Office of Inspector General and the HSI.
But they continued to send children because we know the numbers went up even after I had reported this to the leadership.
I remember this particular one.
I had stayed up all night putting this PowerPoint together to make sure that you know I had put together all of the evidence, you know, that it was um in one package and that leadership could then you know make a decision based on all of the uh data that was put together in the one PowerPoint.
So were additional children being sent there even after it was identified that we had a hundred children there, 200 children here, 300 children there.
Yes, Senator, I think that before I left the site that that number may have been up to 500 500 plus.
So no real evaluation from there, other than just keep sending them because that gets them out of here.
Yeah, no, the the PowerPoint that I put together to demonstrate what was happening, they said was speculative.
And I think they told Tara that she had cultural bias, something like that, but they did not take it seriously.
So Tara, who she's referring to there is the woman I just mentioned to you, Tara Rodas, and they're in this same whistleblower testimony that they're giving before Senate.
And it's so sad to me that instead of being concerned about the kids, they're concerned about attacking the people speaking out about the kids because they know that there are people within the government, whether it's the Senate, the White House, Interior Cabinet, Pentagon, doesn't matter.
And they have all been culprits of allowing this to happen.
And even if you are not somebody who is hurting one of these kids or partaking in the sexual trafficking or what have you, if you don't say something, you're complicit.
You're allowing it to happen.
I mean, I have to tell you myself, I often push back on things.
I fight about things, I want to report on things.
And it's like, oh, we don't have enough information on that.
Oh, the network can't do that.
We don't have this source, we don't have that source.
And while I can appreciate not wanting to distribute or manifest or perpetrate fake news, I do think some things require more effort, more time, and more investigation.
And I just find that our government is just so full of crap.
And you look at these senators and these congressmen who stood up and they cheered on Doge and these massive cuts, and they were gonna find out where all the corruption was and this, that, and the other thing.
And Elon Musk is leaving, and trust me, he's not really leaving, right?
He's gonna work with us on the outside because he's got what is it, 13 or 14 kids, something crazy like that.
I mean, he wants this this country to be here for his own future and for his children's future.
So I have no doubt that he will continue to be a part of the solution.
As he found out more, who was taking kickbacks, who was working with pharmaceutical companies, who was lying, who was skimming off the COVID funds, who was a part of the misinformation that went out about that.
You know, there is no shortage of people giving out benefits, whether it's to people who don't qualify, people who are here illegally, trying to manipulate our voting and our election integrity.
It is insane.
I've never seen so many people work so hard to change America.
If you don't like it here, if you feel that we are doing things in such a way that you are not happy, get the hell out.
The rest of us are happy.
Millions upon millions upon millions of people voted for Donald Trump.
We made it too big to rig, and now you're mad.
You are not the majority.
We are, and we're not silent anymore.
We're pissed off.
I know I am.
And I'll tell you, it's funny.
This this woman today, she gave testimony.
Let me just start by saying I have never seen this woman in my entire life.
But she was talking today in this um hearing about what was happening with the gang database in New York.
And she said it was very upsetting to her that the New York lawmakers were still going to use a gang database because she felt that it was based in systemic racism.
I am not making this up.
This is true.
Take a listen.
Um, and just the last thing, this isn't a question, this is a comment.
I know um I know the police's uh feelings on the gang database and how you know they feel that it can be improved.
I just again I'm just always gonna stand on the side of things cannot be fixed when it already comes with a broken system, a broken clock could be right twice a day, and it things like that just have to go because it it stemmed from racism, and I know that you have you feel very differently, but I'm that's just not gonna change it.
And I know it's in your testimony.
I was not gonna bring it up, but because you brought it up, I'm gonna bring it up.
And so we are good.
I know we have conversations coming up to talk about um how you feel about I feel about it, but I just have to say it because you brought it up.
And so I just brought it up.
So that's it.
Thank you guys so much.
So, first of all, I don't know if you're like me.
I couldn't understand half of what she said.
When people talk that fast and they don't want to let you get a word in edge wise because they're afraid of the debate, it means they're full of shit.
If you're comfortable with where you stand and you know that what you're standing on is you're standing on business, right?
That's what my kids would say.
You better stand on business.
If I'm standing on business and the facts are behind me and I am not hiding anything, I am happy to debate and discuss things with you all day long.
All day long.
I would consider myself somebody who's not confrontational, but I would never shy away from a debate.
However, it is very difficult to talk to people who are either unwilling to listen or have warped their minds in such a way that even when you do give them the facts, they can't hear it.
Because if they hear it, they have to undo everything they've done in their minds, right?
Which is really it's very sad.
But this woman is saying to this entire panel at a New York budget meeting, and they've got like, you know, the attorney general, the head of police, the commissioner, and they're talking about policing.
And she's like, Yeah, I know that you guys, you know, you really need this gang database, but it's racist.
What?
If you are a gangbanger and you are killing people for the sake of killing people, which is what gangbangers do, FYI.
If you're taking a life because you have to hit a quota to get, you know, a better position in your gang.
And so she's literally saying to the police, I just think this is a problem, and I know you guys think really differently.
I'm like, ma'am, have you ever put on a uniform?
Have you ever done a ride-along?
That gang database is telling you where the gangs are, where they hang out, who might be in their gang, what the symbols, the colors, all of the markers are for that gang.
If that was your family member or your friend that was out there that night going after a gang member, I bet you'd be real happy about that database then, wouldn't you?
Or if it was yourself.
Put yourself in their shoes.
This is the stuff that drives me nuts and it makes me very angry.
And I don't think that there's enough call-out.
Like if I was on that executive board, I'd be like, all right, well, what's your solution?
What would you like to do to identify gangbangers?
She's not gonna have an answer.
That's the whole thing.
Don't criticize my system unless you have something to replace it that's bigger and better and works more efficiently.
Because it doesn't make sense.
When you do that, then we'll have a conversation.
That's my rant of today.
I hope you guys had an awesome week.
I hope you're heading into a really nice weekend.
There's just so much news going on, and uh be safe out there.
