When I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.
Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked why.
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries, this is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Listen to Fiasco Benghazi on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup and information overload.
Here's our toll-free number.
It is 800-941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, we're in Riyadh.
We're in Saudi Arabia.
And uh my interview with President Trump, 9 Eastern Hannity on the Fox News Channel.
A lot happening today.
Um I want to play the president's speech.
A lot of pretty important things were said.
A lot of this trip is about investment, and the Saudis clearly are interested in that economic relationship.
You know, uh $600 billion in commitments from the Saudis.
They signed several new agreements with Saudi Arabia seeking to highlight the close ties between the two countries.
And then the president said a couple of things.
Then he challenged the Saudis to join the Abraham Accords and recognize Israel.
Then the president was very clear that yes, Iran, if they choose uh a military resolution, they're gonna get one.
That was part of the speech, too.
But the president's also clear the era of globalism in terms of uh these forever wars is over in terms of the United States.
And that's why the president is offering an opportunity for the Iranians.
They have to dismantle the nuclear program.
They have to have any place, anywhere, anytime inspections, etc., etc.
Those all have to be conditions.
And uh anyway, here's the president from uh earlier today.
We got a very good reception both at home and abroad.
With this historic state visit, we celebrate more than 80 years of close partnership between the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Ever since President Franklin Roosevelt met with King Salomon's father, King Abdul Aziz, abroad the USS Quincy in 1945.
The US Saudi relationship has been a bedrock of security and prosperity.
Today we reaffirm this important bond and we take the next steps to make our relationship closer, stronger, and more powerful than ever before.
I've come this afternoon to talk about the bright future of the Middle East, but first let me begin by sharing the abundance of good news from a place called America.
In less than four months, our new administration has achieved more than most other administrations accomplish in four years or even eight years.
We've actually done for the most part more.
We are cutting ten old regulations for every new regulation.
We're getting rid of all of the uh red tape that is so many frankly Countries, as they get older, they develop a lot of red tape, and we're getting rid of it.
We're getting rid of it at record levels.
And I'm pleased to report that the United States Congress is on the verge of passing the largest tax cut and regulation cut in American history.
We think we're in good shape to get that.
And if we get that, that will be uh like a rocket ship for our country.
In the first quarter of the year, the investment in America was up and astounding 22 percent, more than ten trillion dollars of new investments have been announced or are coming just since the election on November 5th.
So think of that.
In a very short period of time, we have uh over ten trillion dollars, and uh it could be much higher than that.
Not everybody comes to the White House to have a uh news conference that they're going to be opening up in America, but they're all coming in at numbers that we've never seen before.
If you take a look at uh other presidencies, they wouldn't do one trillion dollars sometime in years.
We did this in essentially two months, because uh you have to say we got into office and they gave me about a month to clean up and fix up the Oval Office, and after that we started working, and we uh the money is pouring in, the jobs are pouring in, the companies are pouring into our country like we've never seen before.
There's ever been anything like it.
And uh we let other people tariff us into losing a lot of money and a lot of jobs, and now we're tariffing them, and uh it's uh at a level that nobody's seen.
It's a level that uh is making us uh very much different country and a very different Republican Party.
We won a uh tremendous victory in November.
We won all seven swing states, the popular vote by millions and millions of votes.
The electoral college, we won by 312 to 226.
Remember, they said, well, we could get to 270.
You know, we got to 312, that's a big difference, and very importantly, we won counties throughout the United States.
2,660 to 451.
That's why when you look at a map, they're all red.
It's all the whole country is red.
Red stands for Republican.
From the moment on and from the moment we started, we've seen wealth that just poured and is pouring back into America.
Apple is investing 500 billion dollars.
Nvidia is investing, and I see my friend is here, Jensen.
That's very good.
Wherever you may be, I thank you very much, because he's putting in 500 billion dollars.
T SMC is investing.
Where is Jensen, by the way?
Where is he?
He's standing here, where is he?
I just saw that thank you very much, Jansen.
I mean, Tim Cook isn't here.
But you are.
What a job you've done.
He said he's got 99 percent of the chip market.
I don't know.
That's a big that's that's not easy to beat, but what a job you've done.
Thank you.
We are proud to have you in our country.
You know that.
Thank you for the investment.
TSMC is investing 200 billion, and with this trip, we're adding over one trillion dollars more in terms of uh investment and investment into our country and buying our products, and you know, nobody makes military equipment like us.
We have the best military equipment, the best missiles, the best rockets, the best everything, best submarines, by the way.
Exactly eight years ago this month, I stood in this very room and look forward to a future in which the nations of this region would drive the forces of terrorism and extremism, drive them right out of existence, and take your place among the proudest, most prosperous, most successful nations anywhere in the world as leaders of a modern and rising Middle East, so exciting.
So exciting.
In addition to purchases of 142 billion dollars of American-made military equipment by our great Saudi partners, the largest ever.
This week there are multi-billion dollar commercial deals with Amazon, Oracle, AMD, They're all here.
Uber, Qualcomm, Johnson and Johnson, and many, many more.
So I want to congratulate everybody, so many great business executives, many of you, most of you I know.
And uh they're coming in, you know, about a month ago, they weren't that happy when they saw me.
And now they're saying, Sir, you're doing a great job.
Thank you very much.
It's amazing what a rising market will do.
Oh, it's going to get a lot higher.
In fact, I told people five weeks ago, this is a great time to buy.
I got criticized for that.
Now they don't criticize me anymore.
People should have listened.
But it's going to go a lot higher.
See, we've never had anything like this happen.
It's an explosion of investment and jobs, and great companies are coming in.
Never seen anything like it.
There's no better place to make a future or make a fortune.
Do anything, frankly, than what we have in the United States of America under a certain President Donald J. Trump.
After so many decades of conflict, finally it is within our grasp to reach the future that generations before us could only dream about a land of peace, safety, harmony, opportunity, innovation, and achievement right here in the Middle East.
Before our eyes, a new generation of leaders is transcending the ancient conflicts of tired divisions of the past and forging a future where the is defined by commerce, not chaos, where it exports technology, not terrorism, and where people of different nations, religions, and creeds are building cities together, not bombing each other out of existence.
We don't want that.
And it's crucial for the wider world to note this great transformation has not come from Western interventionists or flying people in beautiful planes giving you lectures on how to live and how to govern your own affairs.
No, the gleaming marvels of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi were not created by the so-called nation builders, neocons, or liberal nonprofits like those who spent trillions and trillions of dollars failing to develop Kabbalah, Baghdad, so many other cities instead.
The birth of a modern Middle East has been brought by the people of the region themselves, the people that are right here, the people that have lived here all their lives, developing your own sovereign countries, pursuing your own unique visions and charting your own destinies in your own way.
It's really incredible what you've done.
In the end, the so-called nation builders wrecked far more nations than they built, and the interventionalists were intervening in complex societies that they did not even understand themselves.
They told you how to do it, but they had no idea how to do it themselves.
Frank has a much brighter future, but will never allow America and its allies to be threatened with terrorism or nuclear attack.
The choice is theirs to make.
We really want them to be a successful country.
We want them to be a wonderful, safe, great country.
But they cannot have a nuclear weapon.
This is an offer that will not last forever.
The time is right now for them to choose right now.
Right now, we don't have a lot of time to wait.
Yet I'm here today not merely to condemn the past chaos of Iran's leaders, but to offer them a new path and a much better path toward a far better and more hopeful future.
As I've shown repeatedly, I am willing to end past conflicts and forge new partnerships for a better and more stable world, even if our differences may be very profound, which obviously they are in the case of Iran.
I have never believed in having permanent enemies.
I am different than a lot of people think.
I don't like permanent enemies, but sometimes you need enemies to do the job, and you have to do it right.
Enemies get you motivated.
In fact, some of the closest friends of the United States of America are nations we fought wars against in generations past.
And now they're our friends and our allies.
Today the Gulf nations have shown this entire region a path towards safe and orderly societies with improving quality of life, flourishing economic growth, expanding personal freedoms, and increasing responsibilities on the world stage.
After so many decades of conflict, finally it is within our grasp to reach the future that generations before us could only dream about a land of peace, safety, harmony, opportunity, innovation, and achievement right here in the Middle East.
So beautiful.
It's such a beautiful thing that's happening.
I guess you know the people that are here can't even really appreciate it because you see it happening, and it's when you come to a place that you haven't seen in five years or ten years or twenty years that it's even more incredible.
When I left office just over four years ago, that future seemed almost impossible.
What you've done.
Together we had obliterated the killers of ISIS.
We wiped them out and terminated his founder and leader, Al Baghdadi.
We had healed the divide in the Gulf.
Cooperation Council, it's a very big deal.
And united the nations of the region to stand against the enemies of all civilization.
We'd imposed unprecedented sanctions on Iran and starved the regime of resources to fund terror.
They were unable to fund anything because they had no money left.
They had no money.
But the new administration came in and let them have a lot of money, and you saw what happened.
Was not money well spent.
And with the historic Abraham Accords that we're so proud of, all the momentum was aimed at peace.
And it aimed very successfully.
It's been an amazing thing, the Abraham Accords.
And it's my fervent hope, wish, and even my dream that Saudi Arabia, place I have such respect for, especially over the last fairly short period of time, what you've been able to do, but we'll soon be joining the Abraham Accords.
I think it'll be a tremendous tribute to your country.
And uh it will be something that's really going to be very important for the future of the Middle East.
All right, that was the president as we continue from Riyadh.
We're in Saudi Arabia.
Hannity, tonight, my interview with the president and Senator Kennedy and so much more from Riyadh, 9 Eastern, set you DVR.
It'll be very early in the morning here.
It's only a mere 4 a.m. when I do TV tonight.
Not a problem.
I'll be up.
I'll be ready to go.
Won't need coffee or anything.
But anyway, quick break, right back.
We'll continue more of the speech on the other side and your calls coming up straight ahead.
Hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass.
You're our kind of people.

What I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.
Nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked, why?
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
It's almost a dirty word.
One that connotes conspiracy theory.
Will we ever get the truth about the Benghazi massacre?
Bad faith, political warfare, and frankly, bullshit.
We kill the ambassador just to cover Something up.
You put two and two together.
Was it an overblown distraction or a sinister conspiracy?
Benghazi is a Rosetta Stone for everything that's been going on for the last 20 years.
I'm Leon Navok.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries.
This is Fiasco Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Yeah, that's right.
Locker up.
Listen to Fiasco, Benghazi on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
All right, 25 now till the top of the hour.
Our toll-free number is 800-941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, we are broadcasting live.
We are in Riyadh.
We are in Saudi Arabia where President Trump made history earlier today.
Not only massive financial commitments and other deals with the Saudis, but also sending a warning straight across the bow of Iran and pushing the Saudis to join the Abraham Accords and recognize Israel.
Which I think is it if you want to know the truth, I just think it's inevitable.
Just a matter of time.
And I think probably once Iran is neutralized, there is at least for once in our lifetime a chance that there can be peace and radicalism could be rooted out of their core in the Middle East.
That would be a nice thing, wouldn't it?
Uh listen, Memorial Day is around the corner, Fourth of July is not far away.
Uh you're ready to fly proudly.
Your American flag.
You live in the greatest best country God ever gave man.
Now, if you're gonna fly a flag uh on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, do you want to fly a flag that was made in China or overseas, or maybe you know, one with freight edges, you don't want that either.
Or maybe you want a durable, high quality American flag that truly honors the day, one made, every part made right here in America, hand sewn in Charleston, South Carolina, by true patriots that love this country.
And of course, I'm only talking about one company, Allegiance Flag Supply.
Uh I have mine, sweet baby James, put it up.
The only problem is he put it up in the wrong spot, and it blocks the walkway, and you can't see it from the street, which what's the point?
I mean, I like to see it myself, but the idea is to proudly display my flag.
I gotta fix it.
Anyway, it's a flag to be revered, one we should all be proud of.
How many people fought, bled, and died fighting under that flag?
It's a great gift for any family member, maybe a military member of your family, maybe a great Father's Day gift, Mother's Day gift.
Now, you won't find handcrafted allegiance flags in any box store.
It doesn't exist there.
The only way you can get one is to go to their website, showallegiance, one word.com.
That's showallegiance.com.
And right now, when you use the promo code Hannity, you'll get free shipping.
Get yours today.
May this month is their busiest month.
Have yours ready to go for memorial day.
Go to showallegiance.com.
Use the promo code Hannity for American flags made the American way.
All right, we continue.
Oh, I forgot.
It's not every day that you see President Trump and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia.
You know, dancing to the village people.
But you got to see that today.
That uh we'll show it on Hannity tonight.
It was such a good moment.
Uh Blair is crowd, you're cracking up.
I noticed that, you know, we only have a mic up when Linda's here.
Why don't you guys ever go on the mic?
I don't understand.
That's not a microphone.
That's like a talk back.
That's not a real microphone.
You don't have a real radio microphone.
No, not gonna do it.
Uh Linda, do you miss us?
Do you wish you were in Riyadh?
Oh my god, I miss you so much.
I never wish I was in Riyadh.
No, that's not something I wish for ever in my life.
Well, how do you know if you haven't been here?
It was only 108 degrees today.
It was very nice.
You know what?
It's it's almost like traveling with your own personal sauna.
At least you'll come back 20 pounds later.
You sweat it all out.
It's wonderful.
Not the way I've been eating on this trip.
No way.
What are you eating?
I had the best sliders I've ever had where we're broadcasting from.
I mean, they were phenomenal.
They were so in the nicest waiter in the world.
He's obviously in the room and listening to every word I'm saying.
Did you get birthday cake for Bill?
I didn't get birthday cake for Bill because somebody told me to l later in the day that it was his birthday.
So I'll have to do that.
We'll take care of that in Doha.
Yeah, you better.
You better.
Oh, you throw it.
Making the poor guy celebrate his birthday miles away from his friends and family.
You don't need to go to the body.
You wouldn't have liked it here, but this is not a there well, you you wouldn't have liked let me tell you why you wouldn't have liked it here.
You ready?
So when the guy with the waiter comes to the table, I said, Sir, I'll take um a dirty martini with Tito's straight up.
Yes, and did you know that you were in Saudi Arabia or had that slipped your mind at that point?
Of course I knew I was in Saudi Arabia.
The guy started laughing.
I thought it was funny.
Did you get the drink?
Of course not.
It wasn't that funny.
I was like, dude.
No dirty martinis here.
No um anyway, let's go back to the president and and this was a significant speech today.
Not only did he sign several new agreements with the Saudis today, um, highlighting the ties between the two countries.
Uh also with Asad gone from Syria giving the new regime a chance to change course.
We'll see what happens there.
Uh you know, trust but verify.
That's where I'm always at with all these matters.
And he now will go well we will uh I'm I'm traveling and reporting from Air Force One on this trip, which by the way is a great honor.
You haven't asked me any questions about Air Force One.
Do you want to ask me any questions?
How cool are those pictures that we posted on social media of the F fifteen's flying right next to us?
But where did you sit?
Where did I Well that's confidential I said.
Well then why'd you ask me to ask you?
If you and I can't answer the question, I want to know where you said.
I I'll tell you where I sat.
U well uh I spent a quite a bit of time with the president and a lot of that interview will air tonight, and he was very gracious with his time.
Talk both on and off air with him for a long time about a lot of different topics, and I spent a lot of time in the conference room and for the two hours that I slept, which is all I've slept in the last 48 hours, um uh that was in the conference room.
You slept in the conference room to the seats not recline.
They do recline a little bit.
Yeah.
Wasn't bad.
It wasn't terrible.
Now, if did you get changed in the Air Force One bathroom into like, you know, pajamas?
I did.
Uh I I didn't get changed into pajamas.
I put on a Nike shirt and a hoodie s sweatshirt and I put my sunglasses on.
So the Sean Hannity uniform.
I got it.
The Sean Hannity's the plane uniform.
Understood.
And then now I my my big question is how big is the bathroom on Air Force One and how many of them of them are there?
I don't know, because I wasn't in every well, I walked through every section, but I didn't count the bathrooms on Air Force One.
That was the same thing.
You don't have the answers I need.
Okay.
Well, if you want to find out more about Air Force One, I don't know exactly you can look it up.
You can Google it.
That's so hard.
I did not notice in maybe in the president's cabin there would be, but I was not invited into the president's cabin for that part.
The president's office, yes, he has an office on Air Force One.
I have to say that it was the one thing I was talking to Blair about this when we were looking at what we were going to do.
You're talking, you were talking to Blair.
Yeah.
How do they say it in Riyadh?
Yeah, yeah, they say, yo, yo, I'm do you know why I am.
I want a dirty martini.
I'm Sean Hannity.
Welcome to Reek.
I want a dirty martini.
You guys got any olives?
Can we put some vodka in those olives?
Actually, the odds of olives would probably be pretty high, I'm guessing.
Yeah.
So you just have to get the vodka to match and you'll be in good shape.
No, you cannot you uh uh actually the other if you want to drink, you can.
Um and the odds of but they do not have at least uh at least in hotels and restaurants, uh i I think it's illegal.
They f they frown upon you know, drinking, which I kind I have to say, um in that kind of weather, like a nice cold margarita, I would think they would be in favor of that.
I think they would sell like gangbusters, quite frankly.
You know, they got all that desert and the beach.
I mean, they probably I'm gonna make a prediction.
I think as they build out their uh they want to build as part of their vision, they would like to build out um facilities here, and they're in the process of doing it, uh that would attract tourism and a lot of people and a lot of business people, and I think that's gotta probably be or going to be a part of the equation.
I would just guess.
I mean, listen there have been reforms that have been made over the last number of years.
You know, I had an interesting t discussion.
This you are raising a good point here.
And I was sitting next to two people to Saudi nationals, and um one was in the cabinet, one was a prominent business person, and I spoke to both of them, you know, I spoke to one first, and I spoke to the other person.
And we were talking about religion, and we did spend a lot of time up talking about Iran with the one official in particular.
And um it was very, very clear now.
Look, we already know about the Sunni Shia conflict, we already know about the hostilities between Iran and and Saudi Arabia.
Um if you remember the first attack a year ago, April against that came directly from Iran into uh at Israel.
Remember the Jordanians and the and the Saudis, they took some of those missiles out of the air.
You do remember that.
I do.
I mean, I have more fun talking about the margaritas, but this is great.
Absolutely.
Let's talk about missiles.
Well, well, why talk about mystery margaritas that you're not gonna have and mystery martinis that won't exist.
Uh all right, let's get uh we we have a couple of good callers.
Let's go to them.
Um anyway, let's go to Vicky is in North Carolina.
Vicky, you wanted to say hi to Linda.
Hi.
Hey, how are you doing, Sean?
I'm good.
Welcome to Riyadh.
Thank you.
Um long time listener over twenty years, first time able to get through.
And well, welcome aboard.
We're glad you're here.
Thank you.
Thank you.
You know, when you and Linda were having that talk about her hate list, and it really burdened my heart for her.
Um I love you to death, and I love Linda.
I love both of you together.
I think you guys just work so good together.
Very kind to say that, but you sound like we're a couple, we're not.
Good grief.
Not a couple, but you sound like me and and my pharmacist.
When I go in there, he picks on me all the time, and I tell people it's because he loves me.
That's why he picks on me.
Uh she picks on me for the record.
I'm very nice to her, and it's all the trouble is her fault.
This sounds like a lot of fake news.
I liked everything Vicky said though.
Thank you, Vicky.
You're I want to say something, Linda.
Um, you know, if you're gonna say Linda, thank you.
Appreciate it.
Thanks so much.
Well, Vicky's from North Carolina, she doesn't need to sound like that.
She can sound sweet like how she sounds.
It's nice.
Thank you.
I um I had someone in my life that was a pedophile.
My mom married him when I was a year old.
And he was he didn't leave my life until I was in fourth grade.
And I had that in my heart for so many years.
I didn't know understand what was going on.
I had at that time that was in this mid-60s, and at that time you had nowhere to go, no one to talk to.
You were afraid.
You didn't even know what was going on.
Well, when I became an adult, well, close to an adult, when I became twelve years old, I found out he wasn't my real father.
And then I said, Oh, that's why he did this to me and not to my sisters.
I can't believe you went through that hell at that age and that there are monsters out there in the world like this.
No child should have to live through what you live through.
I'm so sorry, I really am.
It's terrible.
Thank you.
You know, as far as I'm concerned, those are people that deserve the death penalty.
You know, if you want to look at it biblically, um what did Jesus say if you harm a child?
You better not harm children.
There's not They're defenseless.
They're the most innocent among us.
They need our love.
And they don't need to be ruined.
And I can't tell you, you speak for a lot of people whose lives were totally upended and ruined completely.
And they never recover.
And then never the same.
And you're a survivor, and you found, you know, you've you found peace in your your faith, your religion, the Lord.
I mean, I'm I'm very happy for you, but that never should happen to a little girl like that.
But I wanted to tell Linda that for a while there before I was able to let go of it.
I held it in my heart, and the Lord told me, you know, you need to let it go.
You need to forgive him because it's not hurting him, it's hurting you.
And a lot of people hold in things like this.
Hatred or revengeful things.
And the other person doesn't even know about it.
And people end up getting sick, physically sick because of it.
And I don't want to see that happen to Linda.
I want to see her to be happy and released from this burden of her.
Vicky, let me tell you something, hon, it's not happening to me.
I got a ton of love in my heart.
I got a lot of hate in my head.
I'm good to go.
I'm fine.
Okay.
I hate everybody with my head, and I love everybody with my heart.
And I'm not giving up my hate list.
I don't know.
You don't, you don't love you.
See, you're you're very you're being you're backtracking again.
You're backsliding.
I'm not backsliding.
I've been standing still, bro.
This is where in the Bible does it say to hate thy neighbor in my head.
I only hate them in my head.
Okay, it doesn't say that either.
Love thy neighbor as yourself.
Love God with all your heart, mind, body, and soul.
Forgive us as we forgive.
