What Is A Woman? - March 31st, Hour 1

President Trump made a few laughs this weekend when asked to define what a woman is.  "It's easy, it's someone who can have a baby in certain circumstances.  A woman is a person who is much smarter than a man, I've always found."  Such a politically charged question and such a simple answer.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

You want to be a part of the program this Monday.
We start today with a congratulations to our friend and our colleague, Sarah Carter, who became the latest Fox News star to join the Trump administration.
She has now been named the nation's drug czar.
She is an award-winning journalist who's been on the front lines of this international fight for decades.
And she's been all the way from Afghanistan multiple trips just for our show.
I mean, it's kind of sad in the sense that we're losing a powerful part of our very elite team of investigative reporters that helped us break a lot of stories from FISA to the Russia collusion hoax.
However, we cannot be happier for her and frankly for the country, because uh she is as dedicated as Tom Holman.
She's friends with him, she's dedicated as Christy Nome's uh for our security, and we have got to stop this fentanyl and opioid crisis in our country and drugs coming over our borders.
It just has to stop.
And she's followed also the sex trafficking angle of this as well, and I'm sure that will probably be part of our duties also.
Um anyway, congratulations, Sarah Carter.
Uh Democrats quietly hatching contingency plans, apparently, according to a new book in case Joe Biden died in office.
But according to every Democrat at the time, Joe Biden, he was perfectly fine.
He was not a problem at all.
White House party officials, members of the mainstream media.
You know, we played this actually Friday night on TV or Thursday night on TV, and it was just unbelievable.
They would tell they just went out there and just flat out lied all of them.
You might recall Joe Scarborough.
You know, he's the best self.
He's the best person, the best Joe Biden I've ever known.
Like March of 24.
Whoops, I guess I was wrong.
Let me Donald Trump wins.
Let me go to let me go meet him at Mar-a-Lago for breakfast.
Start your tape right now, because I'm about to tell you the truth.
An F you if you can't handle the truth.
Ouch.
Ouch.
This version of Biden intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever.
Uh-huh.
And that was the entire state-run legacy media mom.
Want to know why nobody believes them?
Because they have lost the trust of the American people.
By this point, in March of 24, everybody knew that wasn't true.
But they just were lying about it.
Now we're finding out, at least if you believe this book, that behind the scenes, uh, aids to vice president Kamala Harris were probab a privately strategizing around the possibility this corpse may die in office, according to Jonathan Allen and Amy Parnes that have an upcoming book,
Fight Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, uh previewed by the Guardian officials at the DNC engaged in similar prep work as well, uh, according to this report in this book in Hush Hush Talk starting in 2023.
DC officials gamed out Biden withdrawal scenarios, according to two people familiar with them.
So they were ready for this.
They wanted to make sure that the party is ready for every possible circumstance.
And if Biden launched This campaign and stepped aside before the primaries if he won a bunch of primaries and he couldn't continue if he secured enough delegates for winning the nomination but dropped out before winning a floor vote at the convention.
If he left a vacancy at the top of the ticket after taking the nomination, they they they literally had every single circumstance that they were prepared for, every contingency that they were prepared for.
Anyway, top Democrats were fretting for months that he wouldn't make it all the way through a grueling campaign.
One official involved in secret talks put a fine point on the fear that Biden would not make it to election day as the party's nominee.
It shows that what we had to do to prepare with the unique circumstances we had, which was an eighty-plus-year-old president who was running, that wasn't the problem.
The problem was they all knew that he was cognitively compromised, and they all lied to the American people.
How can you ever trust them again?
Just like they, all this money, the 130 billion that Doge has discovered so far.
It's going to be hundreds of billions of dollars.
All this money that they have identified, and I would not be surprised if we got to a trillion, and Democrats, they didn't they didn't classify it under the terms DEI for Burma or you know, 40 million for Iraq for Sesame Street or uh climate alarmism in this country or that country.
No, they they would obscure what the real money was being spent for.
And they did that on purpose.
They did that to purposefully deceive you, the American people and the American taxpayers.
Why do you think there's so much anger towards Elon Musk?
Because he's exposing all of it.
And they hate that fact and the fact that he likes Donald Trump.
Over the weekend, President Trump freed yet another hostage who was being held by terrorists behind enemy lines, an American woman detained four weeks in Afghanistan by the Taliban.
Thankfully has been released from custody, according to a person familiar with the matter, and a social media post.
And the woman's name, Fay Dale Hall, uh, was detained in February on charges of using a drone without authorization, was released as part of a deal that Qatari negotiators helped broker, and the person who spoke with the AP on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity, the negotiations all is believed to be the fourth American released from Afghanistan since January.
Oh, why weren't they released under Joe Biden?
Um watching Trump troll is actually very entertaining for me.
You know, Donald Trump is, I guess he's talking to Kristen Welker or somebody, and he's like, I like working.
He was T he teased he might run for a third term.
And he was explaining to MBC News.
A lot of people want me to do it, he told MBC News in a phone interview on Sunday.
But I mean, I basically tell them that we have a long way to go.
It's very, very early in the administration.
I'm focused now on the current term, but I'm not joking about maybe making a run for a third term.
Now, this would probably be determined by the courts.
The 22nd amendment of the Constitution, ratified in 1951 after FDR, what did he go into?
A fourth term when he died in office during his fourth term, and vice president Harry Truman assumed the presidency.
FDR is the only president in history who has been elected and served more than two terms, which was largely due to the political and economic climate at home and abroad unfolding amidst the Great Depression, the beginning of World War II.
There are mess methods that you could do it.
And uh, but the fact that the the media, this is a constitutional threat.
Well, it would have to, you know, all Donald Trump really needs to do is what they do.
And and just go judge shopping, find a judge that would be inclined to support the president and move on from there, and then it would probably make its way to the Supreme Court.
But uh, do I think the president is really serious?
No, but I think it's funny.
President also drew laughs over the weekend, and Linda, I'm not sure if you saw this.
A reporter who asked the first question and said that Trump had done so much for women before listing women who are powerful roles in the Trump administration, you know, from Susie Wilde's chief of staff and Caroline Levitt and Pam Bondy and Christy Gnome.
Since Democrats seem to struggle with the answer to this question, I want to ask you what is a Woman and why is it important that we understand the difference between men and women?
And then Trump didn't miss a beat.
Eddie, and he said, Oh, that's easy to answer.
A woman who's somebody that can have a baby under certain circumstances, she has equality.
A woman is a person who is much smarter than a man.
That was a great answer.
Except the media is absolutely humorless.
McLaughlin and associates putting out there for the first time since Donald Trump became president.
Groceries did not go up in the last month.
The American people are seeing the successes of Donald Trump, and they are comparing the failure of Joe Biden to all of his success.
You know, the one thing I would say, I I I did speak at length with somebody whose name would be well known to all of you this weekend, who is in the Trump administration.
And this one person did say to me, Can you please when you talk to your audience, please tell them how hard this is?
And I said, What do you mean?
And they're like, No, what we're doing remember, they're trying to clean out the deep state.
Like, for example, CIA, intelligence community, FBI restore it to its former greatness, stop the weaponization of justice.
Let's let's start with that.
Doge would be another massive undertaking.
Then another massive undertaking would be deporting known terrorists in the country, cartel members, gang members, murderers, and rapists.
These are all big undertakings.
Turning the economy around and getting it done through reconciliation, and knowing you have these arcane Senate rules and a Senate parliamentarian that it has to sign off that it is allowable under reconciliation is a very heavy lift, and not everybody in the House and everybody in the Senate is going to be happy with the end product because of the way the process is designed, and knowing that you're not going to get a single Democrat to go along with it, they're not going to want to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.
So it's very tricky.
But the pre but it will include extending the president's tax cuts and making them permanent.
It will include no tax on tips and Social Security and overtime is going to be it's going to incentivize bringing manufacturing back to America, high-paying career jobs for Americans.
And whether it's peace in Europe, peace in the Middle East, energy dominance, there's not one thing that I'm mentioning here that is not transformational, but is also not a very heavy lift for this white house.
And so this conversation goes on, and he said, If you please, if you just explain, we're working 24 hours a day.
It was Sunday.
This person had been in the office all day yesterday.
And we had this long conversation, and he's like, You have no idea how heavy a lift this is and how bad it is what we have been left, and all the traps that have been set.
And I said, I get it.
I totally understand.
And I know that a lot of people, for example, they they expect almost instantaneous results.
Well, one issue that became a controversy, for example, was when the JFK files were released.
You know, I I have sources telling me that there's there's some shenanigans that has gone on prior to the arrival of the Trump team that they have to get to the bottom of, so it's not going to happen as quickly as you want.
That's not what we were promised.
Well, it wasn't this it's a problem that wasn't expected or anticipated.
And rather than put out wrong information, they want to always put out the right information.
But that would be, you know, this this is just the obvious stuff.
Um, and I know it's it's not in the nature of the American people to be patient, but every single one of these issues that they're trying to tackle is a heavy, heavy lift.
I mean, look at look at all the criticism.
Look at what Elon Musk has had to go through personally, and this guy's done nothing wrong.
You know, look at the fact that he was able to get a billionaire co-founder of Airbnb to be part of his team because the person loved the challenge and wants to help save the country, and how they plan to digitize the mess of 400 million pieces of paper and 22,000 filing cabinets and create an Apple store like experience for government services.
Okay, that's transformational.
You think that's going to happen overnight?
It doesn't happen overnight.
Well, the fact that Elam was able to recruit an aerospace engineer who was Musk's top lieutenant from SpaceX and ran Musk's boring company.
That's the tunnel digging startup company that he had.
And he's now the head of operations for Doge.
He's taking his top people off of his own personal projects that make him money to do this.
And to have the country going bankrupt is not something that's that any of us can survive.
And as as he pointed out rightly in this Brett Bear interview, there's no other place to go.
You're not going to be able to hide.
You know, they described they found 1500 million people aged over 120 years old, marked as alive in the Social Security system.
And we don't know if they're getting checks, but 4.6 million, you know, credit cards in the federal government for some 2.4 million employees.
How is that possible?
No business can function like this.
Or the fact that he recruited Tom Krause, the Silicon Valley CEO who's been in Musk's orbit for 15 years, joining Doge, you know, to apply public company standards to the federal government.
This is all to save us money.
And they have been successful.
And so, you know, by the way, Ron DeSantis will join us later.
He actually wanted to give back money to the Biden administration.
They wouldn't take it.
So he he got in touch with Elon Musk, and Elon said, Yeah, we'll take the billion dollars.
You know, but Democrats did give millions of illegal Social Security numbers.
Millions are on either state or government run healthcare systems that you're paying for.
Um I have no doubt over time.
I'd like to see how many illegals may have voted.
We'll find out over time.
How many may have qualified for Social Security benefits that they're not eligible for.
And we're just we're really just you know, we're talking about the tip of the iceberg here.
But everything that they're doing is a heavy, heavy lift.
We have set in motion every single wheel to get this country back to constitutional order.
But it's been such a mess for such a long time.
I just urge people to be a little bit patient.
800, 941 Shauna's on number if you want to be a part of the program.
Uh by the way, don't forget our Tesla contest.
Go to Hannity.com, click on the Tesla icon, and from now until April the 11th, you can register once a day, every day.
We have a word of the day.
Today's word is Elon, how appropriate.
Uh Linda, later I'll tell you the story about how you're if you have a Tesla and it's parked, you can call your Tesla to drive itself over to where you are.
Never mind self-driving mode that is phenomenal.
Hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markovitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional SAS.
You're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen.

So Dow, verdict with Ted Cruz now, wherever you get your podcasts.
I worry generally about the strength of America.
America's the central column that holds up Western civilization.
If that column falls, it is all over.
You can't run off to New Zealand or some other place.
It's over.
So either we strengthen that column and make sure America's strong or and will be strong for a long time, or that roof's going to come down.
Now Musk is optimistic about the potential for a great future as long as America remains the land of the free and the land of opportunity.
I know there are people out there tax the rich.
No, what Donald Trump is proposing is if you build a manufacturing facility in America, uh maybe you get maybe you get to deduct all of the taxes on that's taxing rich people.
No, that's taxing job that that is not taxing job creators to incentivize them to manufacture here in this country so that Americans will have the opportunity to have high paying career jobs so they can afford the American dream and not be shut out.
The reason you get rid of the Department of Education is because you want kids that have been shut out of learning because of you know the institutionalized systemic failure to have the opportunity to learn reading, writing, math, science, history, computers, so that doors will open for them.
It is the ladder to success, and we've ripped every rung of the ladder out of it, and we've never held these politicians accountable, and we've never held the unhealthy alliance between teachers unions and the Democrats because teachers' unions donate the Democratic, you know, uh to Democratic candidates.
So why would the Democrats ever be incentivized to take on the teachers' unions?
They never will be.
By the way, the CIA is the next, I wouldn't say target, but the next uh big operation to get a doge once over.
Musk announced that Doge investigation into strangely wealthy congressional members as he shuts down a protester.
Um, and you see the amount of money that is going out.
We got to get to the bottom of this.
And for doing all of this for the country, what what is the result then?
We have Tim Walls now calling for a shadow government to counter the Trump administration over the issue of voting.
Why?
Because he's against voter ID, signature verification, chain of custody controls, updated voter rolls, partisan observers in every precinct watching voting all day and the vote counting all night.
We should return to paper ballots.
I hope the president's successful in that effort.
That's another big effort.
Wall Street Journal uncovered 4.3 billion dollars in duplicate Medicaid payments.
Is there any is that a reason to fire bullets into a Tesla dealership?
Is that a reason to firebomb Tesla cars and to dox Tesla owners and to burn up Tesla charging stations?
Doesn't sound like a very good reason to me.
You know, the Feds now on full alert over the weekend, and we'll get into this later in the program today.
They had their global day of action, nationwide violence leading to arrests, organizer calling it the Tesla takedown.
There is uh a full on investigation into whether or not this is all astro-turf, just like with town halls of elected congressmen and women and and senators that are Republican, these people we know are being paid and organized and organizations are spending a fortune to have these people show up and create the impression that Elon Musk and Doge and Donald Trump are not popular, when in fact just the opposite is true.
An elderly woman in Arizona is boxed in and beaten up by a guy only because she drives a Tesla, Albuquerque GOP headquarters targeted in a an arson, direct assault on our values.
Where is any Democrat speaking out against this violence?
Democrats, by the way, it was an interesting article on Fox News.com.
Fox News Digital received a cold shoulder from Democratic lawmakers when asked if they condemn the domestic terrorism against Tesla, only Rosa Delar Deloro offered comments, and in the last several weeks, you know, these Tesla Tesla dealerships, what's going to happen if they're successful?
Well, Elon Musk, that becomes an accounting problem for him.
Nothing more, because he's successful in all his other businesses.
He will continue to be successful with Tesla if he if he has to downsize it.
But if he does, that means that people that work at dealerships and people that build these cars and people that repair these cars are at risk of losing their jobs.
You know, it's become and and for what reason?
What did this man do?
Except save astronauts, you know, create, put satellites in the air, give free communications to people that didn't have them after Hurricane Hallen and after the Pacific Palisades fires.
One Tesla cyber truck vandal was caught on videos uh scrawling Nazis and Swasticker, according to the MYPD, and it just goes on and on and on.
It's time for this to stop.
Where's Chuck Schumer?
Where's Hakeem Jeffries?
Where's uh Jasmine Crockett?
Where's AOC?
Where's Bernie Sanders?
Where's the leaders of the Democratic Party?
One anti-Tesla terrorist drove his car into a pro-Trump protester.
The media is calling this weekend's Tesla takedown protests, just like in the summer of 2020, mostly peaceful.
That's what they used during the summer of love.
Well, it wasn't so peaceful in Idaho on Saturday when one of these uh takedown Tesla domestic terrorists tried to kill a pro-Trump counter-protester by running him over with his car.
70-year-old man charged with aggravated battery after hitting a counter-protester with his car during a demonstration.
Police arresting, you know, Tesla firebombing suspect who had ties to far left groups.
This is the case in Vegas, and the assistant sheriff announced the arrest of a 36-year-old who had been arrested and booked in Clark County detention center, 15 charges, including multiple felonies related to arson, property destruction, unlawful possession of incendiary devices, and firearm offenses.
You know, uh, we'll talk to James uh Uttmeyer, who's the AG of Florida.
Our state law enforcement stands ready to bring the full force of law against anyone who causes destruction to Florida businesses.
Today it's Tesla.
Tomorrow it's something else.
If the woke mob comes out in Florida, we will be ready.
Thank goodness.
But who's funding all these groups?
And I'll tell you, what they'll do is they'll say, oh no, we're doing it for free speech purposes.
And meanwhile, they're really funding this radicalism that is now going on around the country.
Gotta stop.
You know, the people that are obsessed over January 6th didn't care about the summer of 2020 writing.
They don't care about this.
Many radicals on the left wanting to praise Luigi Mangioni.
They praise the pro Hamas, you know, student uh uh takeover experts on college campuses.
And then, of course, the the left, they they just run to the judges to try and stop the Trump agenda because they can't get it done at the ballot box and they can't get it done legislatively.
That's the America we're living in.
And I will tell you, it is a dangerous country now as a result.
And the fact that you can't get liberals to stand up, unbelievable.
The same with these ice raids in Houston.
They captured a Biden Harris illegal who's been accused of mass murder in Mexico.
Jury selection begins in the trial of the Biden illegal who raped and murdered a Maryland mother of five, one that we've mentioned off often on this program, Rachel Moran, mother of five.
Her kids will never see her again.
A Biden illegal in Georgia, charged with rape murder and necrophilia.
I don't want to give out the definition if you don't know what it is.
I really don't have the stomach for it.
Tom Holman has stepped in after officers in sanctuary cities are targeted for helping ice.
Now, if if they want if they're told to do their job jurisdiction, clearly is with the federal government on this.
And yet the left, you know, wants to stop, and then you have this other group of people that have been tipping off others.
We'll play later in the program.
You've got these threats that are going on around the country.
You have, you know, anti wait the anti-Tesla protest.
It's it's like a redux of the 1960s.
Whatever happened to the 1960s, you know, all we're saying is give peace a chance.
They don't want a piece of they don't they don't want to give peace a chance.
You know, now orchestrating and remaining silent and then outright lying about pretty much everything.
On the economy, we're gonna get into this tonight.
You know, if you look at all of the money that has been committed and all the jobs that are being created and all the foreign investment in this country, it's now over four trillion dollars because Donald Trump has gotten into office and he's threatened to put into Place and tomorrow would be the day these tariffs.
Well, the tariff is resulting in all of these other countries investing massive amounts of money in America.
I mean, then you have, you know, Hyundai, 20 billion, Apple 500 billion, Nvidia, hundreds of billions, Softbank, OpenAI, Oracle, 100 billion, the Taiwan semiconductor manufacturing company, Johnson and Johnson, uh CMA, CGM, a shipping firm, 20 billion, Johnson and Johnson 55 billion, Eli Lilly, 27 billion, Merck 1 billion.
Nissan and Honda had plans to build plants in Mexico.
They're now moving them to America.
Well, that's creating new jobs all across the country.
What will be hundreds of thousands of high-paying career jobs for people?
Then you've got the UAE and other countries in the Middle East.
They are literally pouring hundreds of billions of dollars betting on American manufacturing and trying to diversify their portfolios.
India now is in the middle of negotiations because they don't want to be the victims of reciprocal tariffs.
The United Kingdom did not retaliate against Trump's metal tariffs, and instead discussions began there.
Colombia, by the way, Trump threatened Columbia with 25% tariffs.
they're helping with these deportation flights Vietnam cut their duties on USS exports and And are, you know, the countries are moving.
And I think over time, I think Canada's a unique situation because they got an election upcoming.
But you know, this, you know, in the minds of the left, this is going to be a big week for Donald Trump on the economy.
Well, last time I checked the Dow was up today.
And maybe tomorrow, because of the tariffs, maybe a skittish Wall Street will react negatively, but it'll rebound.
And that's never been my key indicator anyway.
Um all of this is by design.
And all of this is because you have a radical leftist party in the country that has no vision except for their woke agenda.
They don't have any plans for the country.
They just cling to their radicalism.
And now, you know, even you're getting some Democrats actually speaking out.
I saw Senator Bennett of Colorado on Meet the Press over the weekend saying, Democrats, they've lost touch with working people.
Yeah, why why didn't they support Stand at the joint session when President Trump talked about no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax on Social Security?
Why didn't they stand for that?
Why wouldn't they stand for mothers that lost children to Biden Harris illegals?
They're angry, but who's going to step up and lead them?
You know, even California governor Newsom is saying the democratic brand is toxic.
Well, it's nice that he's telling Bill Maher that after the fact, but he's got a track record.
You know, the worst thing that he has going for him in his pursuit of the White House, and I have no doubt that's what this is all about for Gavin Newsom, is you know, when he goes out there and said, I've never used the term Latinx, and we have example after example of them using it.
And he's hopeful we can really paint a picture in terms of our consciousness uh of how impactful this has been on the Latinx community, Latinx community, the Latinx and black communities, got politicians that are banning not assault rifles, but the word Latinx.
They're not even serious.
Really?
And then he says to Charlie Kirk and his new podcast, which I'm sure is not taking any time away from his governorship, and this is his job as being governor of California.
But in his new podcast, he said, Oh no, I don't think men should be playing women's sports.
Here's the problem.
On multiple occasions, Gavin Newsom advocated for the right of men to play women's sports.
Do you have that one?
Maybe not.
I think we have it somewhere.
But he said the same thing.
I mean, you can't take one position now after years of taking an entirely different position and be credible with the American people.
That's a you know, that that's not even an election year conversion.
That's just I'll say whatever I need to say just to get elected.
Turns out in 2014, years before I was governor, there was a law established that established the legal principles that allow the allow trans athletes in women's sports.
Um, but the issue of fairness is completely jet.
It is an issue of fairness, and I think Democrats have lost.
He said over and over and over and over again that he supported it.
And we have it all on tape.
The president said that uh he threatened Iran Sunday with bombing and secondary tariffs if Tehran did not come to an agreement with Washington over their nuclear program.
I wouldn't hold my breath if I was the president.
Republican Party headquarters in New Mexico, targeted by an arsonist.
I mean, you see, the the left doesn't get their way.
They throw temper tantrums, hold up bingo cards, won't stand for mothers that lost their children, or young man that beats cancer.
Uh and they just champion the rights of men to play women's sports, the rights of illegals, even trendy Iraqwa gang members over the safety of American citizens.
And they claim this uh it's a constitutional crisis if you cut waste fraud and abuse and hundreds of billions of dollars in it.
That's the party you want to be a part of.
You want smart political talk without the meltdowns?
We got you.
