Time Text
This is an iHeart podcast.
All right, thanks, Scott Shannon.
Hour two, Sean Hennedy Show, toll-free.
It is 800-941.
Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, it is the Democrats have picked the wrong fights, and they don't really realize it yet.
I mean, you know, all of the freak out, the hysteria, the screaming, the yelling, this is war.
You know, the Chuck Schumer chanting, and, you know, it's, it's, it's, you know, we will win.
We won't rest in defiance to Trump.
And, and, you know, as they protest Elon Musk, and I'm, I'm just sitting there saying, do you think the American people want to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on U.S. aid in light of what we have discovered in terms of waste, fraud, abuse?
I mean, it's frankly, it's just outright the most reckless, irresponsible spending I've ever seen in my life to advance their radical leftism.
And as we have spent a lot of time, you know, discussing, this is basically their dump for woke, Green New Deal, transgender, LGBTQ in foreign countries.
And meanwhile, we struggle in this country as we have, we've gone over, we've got to deport people, we've got to secure our borders, we've got to shore up Social Security and Medicare, we've got to invest in becoming the most energy-dominant country on earth.
We need the next generation of weaponry to protect America.
We have Americans in need all over the country, and we're spending hundreds of billions of dollars.
You know, last year alone, $236 billion in waste and fraud and abuse by Joe Biden that we have now discovered.
I mean, by a government agency of all places, you just can't make it up.
But if this is the fight and the Democrats want to fight over open borders, and, you know, I mean, the stories that are out today, you know, oh, the DHS raid nabbed an Ecuadorian rapist who was cut loose by New York City Democrats.
Now we see all the resistance beginning around the country.
We have 9,000 Harris Biden illegals that have been arrested.
6,000 of those have been deported.
Democrats complain deporting illegal alien murderers and rapists is a waste of time, Congressional Democrats, a waste of time.
Jamie Raskin on the House Judiciary Committee said that illegal immigrants are being targeted.
They pose no threat to public safety.
Well, if they want to prioritize their money and give all of this, I won't go through the list.
We've been scrolling it on TV and mentioning it repeatedly on radio.
I don't want to repeat myself, but it is madness.
It really is.
Here's the Democrats at the protest of Elon Musk.
This was yesterday going nuts.
We are witnessing a constitutional crisis.
We talked about Trump wanting to be a dictator on day one, and here we are.
This is what the beginning of dictatorship looks like.
This is a constitutional crisis that we are in today.
Let's call it what it is.
The people get to decide how we defend the United States of America.
The people get to decide how their taxpayer money is spent.
Elon Musk does not get to decide.
If democracy is a quote-unquote left-wing ideology to Elon Musk, I mean, this man is un-American as far as my definition of America is.
And I just, the fact that more people aren't offended by this man's actions, I mean, it's, you know, it shows you how much he has helped successfully destroy the trusted information ecosystem because this is a five-alarm fire.
Elon Musk is a five-alarm fire, and the country doesn't realize it yet.
This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed.
Which, you know, you can probably even glean that from watching these people on TV.
Anyways, all that is to say is that they don't do their homework.
So, I mean, are Americans going to be okay with Musk?
Oh, okay.
A guy nobody voted for having all this kind of power.
Medium vote.
He was appointed by a duly elected president of the United States.
It's really that simple.
And then, of course, the media, left-wing radicals that they are, joining in the freak out over Elon Musk.
But look, if this is their fight that they want, if they want us to sit there and defend $20 million on a Sesame Street show in Iraq, $56 billion to boost Egyptian and Tunisia tourism, $40 million to build schools in Jordan, $11 million to tell the Vietnamese to stop burning trash, and $2.5 million for DEI in Serbia.
And I'm only touching the surface.
We're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars of your money.
And they want this fight.
They can have this fight.
And if they want to fight to keep known terrorists in the country, rapists, they want to turn a blind eye to the Lake and Rileys, Rachel Morins, Jocelyn Nungaris of the world, and they want to keep the cartel members, known terrorists, gang members, murderers, rapists, and not care about the American people, victims of violent crimes, murder, rape, and don't want to consider them.
If that is their stance and that's where the hill they want to die on, let them die on it.
Here's the media doing the same thing.
To our Republican colleagues, if you do not see the light, we will bring the fire.
Resist!
We are going to be in your face.
We are going to be on your asses.
We have days to stop the destruction of our democracy.
We have work to do.
Tell Elon Musk to take his hands off your money.
We don't pledge allegiance to the creepy 22-year-olds working for Elon Musk.
We pledge allegiance to the United States of America.
And shut down the Senate!
We are war!
We will win.
We will win.
We won't rest.
We won't rest.
Elon Musk is seizing the power that belongs to the American people.
We are here to fight back.
We have convened here in the right place the Treasury Department.
We have got to tell Elon Musk nobody elected your ass.
All across America, people are knocked down, but they are getting up and they are going to fight the dictator of Donald Trump and his henchman, Elon Musk.
We are going to stand and fight.
Fight!
Fight!
If we're walking to the Treasury Department, tell me what plutocracy looks like.
This is what democracy looks like.
What does democracy look like?
This is what democracy looks like.
What does plutocracy look like?
This is what democracy looks like.
This gets old very quick.
Anyway, the governor of Oklahoma, Kevin Stitt, is with us, and he's actually starting his own division of Doge in Oklahoma, which I think is a brilliant idea.
How are you, sir?
Governor, great to have you.
Hey, great to be with you, Sean.
And you're, I mean, I'm listening to this program.
I cannot believe what these people are saying because I'm telling you what, people in Oklahoma and Texas and Nebraska, we're not losing any sleep about getting rid of the U.S. Aid Department and all the things that you've talked about.
The American people think that's unbelievably ridiculous when we're spending $2 trillion over our income right now to build infrastructure in other parts of the world to, you know, like you said, the trans surgeries in Peru and Colombia and the DEI training in Chile or, you know, the mission creep is unbelievable.
And I think that the fact that President Trump is exposing this, you know, we're cheering him on from Oklahoma.
I'll tell you that.
Well, $4 million for the low-cost, the renewable energy and strengthening markets for their goods and services in Colombia, $44.8 million for food assistance, economic support for Venezuelan migrants in Colombia.
This is madness.
And I can keep going on.
$24 million for a green transportation and logistics program in Georgia.
$29 million for an agricultural trade diversification program in Georgia.
I have nine pages that I can read here.
And I scroll it on TV.
I can't even get through the entire scroll in the course of a show.
And if this is the hill I think Democrats want to die on, this is the party they want to be, the party of globalism, then have at it.
But I think the American people would prefer to have that money spent at home and not abroad and not for such radical, woke green trans DEI abortion programs that they're pushing and funding.
You're exactly right.
And in Oklahoma, we know what President Trump's trying to do.
So we believe that the states need to help with that.
So I set up Doge Oklahoma to say, okay, here's the federal money coming into my state.
We think that we can be more efficient with block grants if we're allowed to do it this way.
We think we can reduce 10 to 20 percent of the federal dollars flowing into our state.
And then if you extrapolate that over 50 states, that could be a trillion dollars of savings for President Trump.
And let's get back to a balanced budget situation.
There's not an unlimited amount of funding that goes on, and that's the big picture that we're trying to solve.
The inflation's killing the working-class families.
And the radicals that you just were sharing on your program here, I don't think that that is the American people.
Whether you're Republican or Democrat, we care about our kids.
We want to educate our kids.
We want to make sure that our kids go to piano lessons and soccer practice.
We want to be able to heat our homes, drive our kids to school.
We want to have affordable groceries.
We don't want to radicalize other parts of the world with wasteful spending.
And so this is just common sense to most people in middle America.
I can tell you that.
All right, quick break.
We'll come right back more with Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma as he joins us and has developed his own version of Doge, Doge Oklahoma, as the left is freaking out all around the country.
Then your call's coming up, 800-941-SHAWN if you want to be a part of the program.
America listens to Sean Hannity.
And he's on, on, on, on, on.
Right now.
Hey, Sean Hannity here.
Think that using your gun in self-defense would be a tough situation, right?
But defending your actions in today's justice system, good luck with that.
Look at Daniel Penny.
Now, that's where your nightmare can begin.
We are living in a time where there are many government officials and AGs.
They don't even believe in self-defense, and you've got to protect yourself and your family.
That's why I've been a proud member of the USCCA for over nine years.
And with the USCCA, I know that when, God forbid, I'm defending my family, I hope it happens to nobody, but we know it does happen, that I'm not going to be standing alone.
I want to encourage you to protect your family and your freedoms and join the over 800,000 responsible, safe gun owners like me that trust the USCCA to have their back.
Just text my last name, Hannity, to the number 87222.
You can learn more about how membership works and safeguard your family and protect your rights.
Just text my last name, Hannity, to the number 87-222-87222.
And trust me, you'll be glad you did.
All right, we continue now.
Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma has started a state version of Doge, Doge Oklahoma, he calls it.
You know, you mentioned states and you mentioned Middle America.
You talk about Texas and Oklahoma.
I can add to that my free state of Florida where I live, and I left New York for good reasons.
But I will tell you, I also think that this will resonate in places like Pennsylvania and Georgia and North Carolina and Michigan and Wisconsin.
And I'm pretty confident in places like Nevada.
They're sick and tired of this too, and Arizona.
I don't think Americans, unless you're from New York or California or from Illinois and New Jersey with that dopey governor they have up there, you know, advertising that he's harboring illegal immigrants.
Americans are not going to support this.
And yet this is the hill they've chosen to die on in their fight against Donald Trump.
I think between that and the illegal immigration, I think they've made a big mistake.
100%.
I'm telling you, even normal, normal, you know, God-fearing Democrats are like, they've gone too far.
That's why you saw Trump win big all over the country.
I set up Operation Guardian in Oklahoma to be ready for the Trump administration to deport criminals who are in Oklahoma prisons.
I don't know how anybody could argue with the fact that if we arrest a criminal who's here illegally, for the last four years, when my law enforcement turned them over to the Biden administration or ICE, nothing happened.
We knew that they'd be released back into the streets, so we had to incarcerate them.
Well, now we have a law and order president back in the White House, and it's just absolute common sense to most people that are Americans that love our country.
And I just don't know what's happening right now with the far left.
They're off their rockers.
Well, it's the Democratic Party.
They've been co-opted by the far left.
They are the far left.
And if this is the message they're going to take to the country, I think they're going to continue to lose.
And, you know, usually, for example, in midterm elections, the party in power would tend to lose seats.
If Donald Trump keeps up this record-setting pace of transformational change, I would argue that keeping his promises and doing these things is going to be good politics.
Yeah, oh, 100%.
I mean, I think you're right.
I'm coming to the White House.
I'm in D.C. right now, so fixed to go in to see the president, and he's going to be signing an executive order that we did two years ago.
And again, really pretty common sense to me, but we're not going to let boys play in girls' sports in the state of Oklahoma.
I mean, if you think about this, Sean, we have weight classes in boxing.
We have weight classes and MMA fighting and wrestling, but yet we throw this out the window and we're going to let, you know, any male that's pretending to be a female, you know, run in female sports and play run track and the swimming.
And it's just, again, we are right on this issue.
And if they want to die on this hill, they'll continue to lose elections nationally.
Not sure if you've been in the Oval Office before, but it's a pretty cool place.
Anyway, Governor, we appreciate you being with us.
Have fun today.
And we appreciate what you're doing in Oklahoma.
Thank you, sir.
Governor Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma with us.
800-941-Shawn is on number.
If you want to be a part of the program, we'll get all of your reaction to this coming up.
Hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hale.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass, you're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you listen.
You know, I'm just listening to the madness of the radical left in this country.
Now, remember, these are the same people's closing argument in the campaign was Donald Trump is a racist.
Donald Trump is Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin.
He's a Nazi, fascist, very, that's all they said.
That was their closing argument.
It wasn't that Democrats have done a good job under Biden-Harris.
It wasn't that they had a better vision for the country.
Kamala Harris could not expose her true radicalism, which is why she was tied up in knots every time she tried to speak.
She couldn't answer or do interviews.
And what we've learned through this entire Doge exposure of government spending, they've hidden all of this from us.
Hannity, you're supposed to tell us these things.
Well, nobody ever discovered it until Elon Musk came along and Donald Trump was elected.
And thank God we did.
And, you know, the entire left woke agenda is, you know, is on full display.
It is the Green New Deal.
It is everything woke.
It is everything DEI.
It is everything trans.
It is everything abortion.
And it is everything, you know, LGBTQ, but it's not even for the American people.
Meanwhile, Americans are still suffering in North Carolina and other states post-Hurricane Helene.
Nobody seems to want to focus on that, but people like us.
And we're not taking care of, you know, veterans in this country.
We have Social Security and Medicare going broke.
We have, you know, a lot of work to do to become energy dominant.
A lot of work to deport all these radical terrorists, criminals, murderers, rapists, cartel members.
We have a lot to do.
But you would think that maybe there would be some introspection and self-reflection of the state-run media mob.
Forget about it.
Not true.
And it is the same people that peddled every Trump conspiracy theory.
The chief among them, Rachel Maddow, MSDNC, have just doubled down on feigning this outrage over everything that Donald Trump says and does.
And if they want to defend U.S. aid and billions of dollars spent on DEI, and they want to call Americans that want common sense spending and refer to them as racist or having a white power vibe, as Rachel Maddow did.
Remember, she peddled the Russia conspiracy.
She never got Pfizer right.
She never got the double standard in our justice system, right?
The weaponization of our DOJ and FBI and our intelligence community, right?
And rarely gets criticized.
However, the proof is in the pudding.
She'll always have a small cult little following of radical leftists, like the people on Capitol Hill, you know, screaming yesterday.
But, you know, just listen to Trump DEI attacks have a white power vibe.
It has nothing to do with race.
But if you're going to have FAA rules that Obama put in place that say people with psychiatric disabilities and intellectual disabilities can be air traffic controllers, I've got a problem with that.
You need a meritocracy society.
And I say that as somebody that believes every human being was created by God, has talent given to them by God.
And these are also the same people that have protected the bureaucracy that has failed, especially minority children in deep blue states with the worst educational system in the industrialized world, even though we spend more per capita per student.
And this is now, we are back to where we were in 2017.
And now we have the first call for impeachment.
Anyway, here's Mattow.
I think it's pretty obvious now to everybody that they are using DEI as just a pretext.
They're giving everything that unfashionable boogeyman label to try to avoid people in general realizing that what they're really doing is just wrecking the U.S. government, just knocking it down.
It may be, for example, that there is a real white power vibe behind all the anti-DEI stuff they are doing.
But if the way they're approaching it is to say in part that there can no longer be the inclusion of a self-addressed stamped envelope in any government mailing or that you're banned from talking about the equity markets because, ooh, equity.
Well, that level of stupidity has the benefit of making us less intimidated by them because they're being dumb.
It also has the benefit of emboldening people to push back.
So it's the media, it's the state-run legacy media mob which died.
They just don't realize the American people did not listen to them.
You know, they're small little cult viewers.
You know, maybe they did, but it's not enough to win elections anymore.
And if their fight is going to be to protect gang members, cartel members, murderers, rapists that should be deported, known terrorists in the country, then have at it.
If they want to protect all of the monies that are being spent on woke, Green New Deal, trans DEI, abortion, et cetera, worldwide, the hundreds of billions of dollars, then have at it.
Because that's not an argument that's going to resonate with the American people.
And I don't care how hyperbolic they become.
It's not going to work.
And if they think they have impact, they don't.
These people yesterday just sound like a bunch of lunatics.
And then we have our first call for impeachment.
We were going to start a pool on the air.
They beat me to it.
Al Green, congressman, listen.
To whom it may concern, ethnic cleansing in Gaza is not a joke, especially when it emanates from the president of the United States, the most powerful person in the world.
And I stand here today in the well to denounce what he was said, to denounce what the president said, to denounce the complicity of the prime minister of Israel, and to remind people that Dr. King was right.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
And injustice in Gaza is a threat to justice in the United States of America.
I rise to announce that the movement to impeach the president has begun.
I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done.
All right, let's get to our busy phones.
I mean, this is, you can't even make this up.
All right, let's go to Dave in Indiana.
Dave, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
I'm just fine.
I'm fine.
I appreciate you taking my phone call.
A couple of things that I've seen on the social network, they talk about a lot of these spending bills that are out there with USAID and others, but I'd like to see names attached to them because I know if spending is approved, somebody's names attached to it somewhere whether it's on the end of a bill or what.
And I like to see the names on them.
Well, they fund U.S. aid, and the people that now are shut out of their offices at USAID, they're the ones that have been making those decisions with, of course, the recommendations and full stamp of approval of leftists in the U.S. House and Senate.
Is there a way we can attach names to them, the people that wanted those?
Yeah, probably over time.
I think you're getting those computers.
I think we're going to find out very quickly who's been pushing all of this waste, fraud, abuse, and frankly, outright stealing of the American people's money.
This is not just reckless spending.
This is just outright theft.
And it is such a monumental bureaucratic failure.
And this is why we're a country with $40 trillion in debt.
Yeah.
It's unforgivable to me.
One of the things I want to talk about was illegal immigrants.
I think if people had come to the United States for asylum, that's one idea.
But if they came for the work visa, that's a different one.
So I guess I'd look at these people who came for asylums and go through those.
And if they missed their court date, it's just a no-brainer.
You know, no court going, you know, you get to depart.
So, you know, with overstayers and the asylum people, I think that they need to go back if their work behind.
Listen to clean all this up.
To be transformational, you've got the entire bureaucracy and then the state-run legacy media mob against you.
And they're just not going to go away.
They're going to sit and they're going to fight because this is where their power comes from.
Your power comes by spending these billions.
Anyway, my friend, I appreciate it, Dave.
I love our friends in Indiana.
We also love our friends in the free state of Florida.
Tom is in my home state.
What's up, Tom?
How are you?
Glad you called.
Hey, good afternoon, Sean.
It's a pleasure to be on your air.
I want to start with saying that you're smart, honest, intelligent, and very informative.
And we, the people out here.
I appreciate it.
Thank you.
We work hard every day.
We try to do our best.
We're not perfect, but we're trying.
Yo, fabulous, fabulous.
I make stations stuck on you from the coffee.
But some of the points, from the day he wrote down that escalator, I knew he's a businessman, and that's what we needed in there.
And I knew he wasn't going to make Mexico pay for the war.
He was going to be in negotiations.
Well, right now, I have a question, is that there's three bridges that cross Panama, and those three bridges are the only means of those people getting across from those southern countries.
And we're in negotiations right now with Panama.
So that's another point and issue is that's the only way if we can stop them there, too.
So it's, you know, Panama and all these other countries that that's all Trump does is negotiate.
So he's going to bring all these things to the table, and he's an extremely smart businessman.
I've known him, as you can tell, my out of New York, and unfortunately, I don't believe in their ways up there.
And the industry I'm in is outnumbered.
So that's why I live now in Florida.
But I appreciate you.
I really do.
Well, I appreciate you too, because you know what?
We're all in this together.
And, you know, if one thing that we're learning that we really need to highlight is the opposition to Donald Trump's transformational agenda is real.
And we've got to stiffen the spine of these elected officials and we've got to stay in the fight.
And by the way, I'll predict with Panama, it's going to come out very favorable to the U.S.
It already is.
Anyway, Tom, appreciate it, buddy.
God bless you.
800-941-Sean is on number.
Quick break right back.
We'll continue more.
Your phone calls coming up.
800-941-Sean as we roll along this Wednesday.
Information Overload.
All right, let's get back to our busy phones.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Leo, Maryland, next, Sean Hannity Show.
Hi.
Yeah, hi, Sean.
I know in the past you've always stood up for the men and women in the rank and file FBI agents.
And it's a time they may need your voice again, especially the couple thousand that have been seemingly targeted because they worked on the January 6th case.
And I know one of the main goals in the FBI of the new administration is to depoliticize it.
And this appears to be a misstep in the wrong direction.
Well, we need to look at every individual case.
That's what I would say.
I know Kash Patel.
I've known him for a long time.
He's been on this show many times.
And I can tell you that I have every confidence that he's going to be fair to every individual.
I mean, you think about the disproportionate amount of resources that were given to January 6th.
And we had 574 riots in the summer of 2020.
And we had dozens of dead Americans, way more than January 6th.
We had thousands of injured cops.
We had billions in property damage.
And we had a presidential candidate, vice president at the time, saying that the rioters won't stop, shouldn't stop, and we're not going to stop.
We also had video of the crimes they committed.
Many of the people that committed these crimes was all on video, and they did nothing.
You know, I do think that within the FBI, and they're ignoring illegal immigration at the time, and they're ignoring other crimes at the time.
I think that there are going to have to be hard questions for rank and file members in terms of their priority and whether or not they challenged some of the higher-ups.
And we need people that understand the true mission of the FBI.
And maybe it's a process of re-interviewing everybody and making sure that they understand what their job is.
I mean, they've had terrible leadership under the last two FBI directors.
But I definitely agree with you that I want to be fair to the rank and file, and I want to make sure that, you know, the good people stay.
I mean, we're going to need some, we need trained FBI officials.
I want our FBI to be the world's premier law enforcement agency again.
But we can't have what's been happening, how it's been weaponized and politicized.
We can't allow that to continue either.
So we've got to thread the needle there.
I have a lot of confidence in Kash Patel doing that.
I hope that makes you feel better.
Anyway, 800-941-Sean is on number if you want to be a part of the program.
Export Selection
