Last night we had a town hall with Speaker Johnson, House Republicans.
They have what will start out to be a two or three-seat majority.
That will grow to a five-seat majority, probably sometime by April, hopefully sooner than that.
And it's there's a lot Donald Trump's doing.
We went over the laundry list of things that he's been able to do on his own.
And it's it's been nothing short of miraculous.
I mean, he's done amazing work by himself alone, you know, in the lead up to him becoming president, and then he became president, and immediately, you know, he revoked 38 uh actions of Joe Biden immediately.
You know, he got rid of DEI in our federal government immediately, ended censorship uh immediately.
He has taken a strong stand in an executive order against the weaponization uh of our federal government against political opponents or people for their political views.
Uh and also he said they must it they it's mandated they look for political bias.
Uh he got us out of the Paris Accords.
The Paris Accords look at China and Russia as developing nations, so we pay the bulk of monies for this.
This is insanity.
The WHO was nothing but the propaganda arm of the communist Chinese during during COVID.
Why are we in any of any of these globalist organizations?
I don't even want to be in the UN with their anti-Semitic views and their anti-American views, and we pay the bulk of the monies for that as well.
He got rid of the corporate global minimum tax, which is the dumbest idea that Kamala Harris, one of the dumbest ideas, that she had plenty of them.
You know, sex change operations for illegal immigrants paid for by taxpayers is probably right up there too.
But that would take away American competitiveness.
Oh, we'll all agree.
Every country will agree on socialism.
And the socialism will be uh, let's see, we're not going to be able to entice corporations to go to a country that has more favorable tax policies and more favorable and less regulatory bureaucracy.
That's insane.
We were literally, you know, pouring money down the drain and and pushing away high-paying career jobs for the American people.
You know, he's called a you know, energy emergency, which is an open energy now, exploration and drilling all around the country.
Uh he revoked 51 former Intel officials security clearances and John Bolton, who deserved it.
That means Brennan Clapper, Panetta, people like that.
He's making anybody that works for the federal government show up at work.
Do you think people working from home are working as hard as people that don't go to work every day?
Now, I can tell you right now, there are people for me that work for me from home.
But let me tell you, it is demonstrable whether they're working or not.
Because they're either getting the work done or it will be so obvious to me that I would know that day.
If any one of my staff members are out, I can pick who's out that day.
Linda tries to cover for them and hide it from me.
But it doesn't work.
Uh so you have to show up for work.
He's putting a pause on all foreign aid and evaluating how much money we're giving anybody.
Uh he restored the death penalty.
He's talking about cutting two trillion dollars with the Department of Government Efficiency Doge.
Uh he recognizes that there are two sexes, male and female.
You would think he doesn't have to do that, but he does.
Uh the cartels, the gangs, the foreign terrorists, uh uh organizations.
You know, they're gonna be labeled as such.
And we've got to get these terrorists out of the country.
Uh and also he put a hiring freeze in place.
He wants an external revenue service to get money from countries that have been cheating us and taking advantage of us, which I'm happy about.
With the military, if they left or were pushed out because they didn't want to take the jab, uh, those people are gonna be rehired and given back pay, which they deserve.
They never should have been treated that way.
Pretty awful that that's how we and they ended up being right.
No one-why Anthony Fauci.
We already knew about Anthony Fauci.
Anthony Fau, we had all those emails going back and forth in a state of panic in early January 2021 because they knew NIH money went to the Eco Health Alliance, and that money would likely, you know, be funding gain of function research, which Fauci was already on record supporting, which is insanity.
Gain of function research means you are creating something you know not of in a lab.
And look at the damage that was done as a result of all this.
Um I had a chance today, and it's gonna air more than one night because we went long.
The president, I I can tell you I've known Donald Trump for over 30 years.
I knew him before he ran for president.
I knew him before he became down that escalator.
And I've never seen him this dialed in, this focused on the one hand, resolute on the other hand, and also relaxed on the other hand.
He is at peace with w what his positions are.
He is at peace in dealing with President Chi and President Putin, and I'll get to Putin in a minute.
And and he's basically told Putin, end this war today.
And he's he's he understands the mullets in Iran, it's a theocracy and their lunatics, and he'll do what he has to do.
I I I I did talk to him about it.
He's not gonna tell me.
I knew when I asked him the question, Avens, I know you're not gonna answer this, but I tried anyway.
Um one cool thing that happened today, and by the way, anything like this that happens, I gotta stop, pause, reflect, and say thank you to all of you because you listen to this radio program in such massive numbers, and you you watch the TV show, it is it allows me to do things like what we did last night.
The whole purpose of doing Congress last night is not because I want to hang out with with people in Congress.
I could care less about people in Congress and the and on the one hand, except that I want them to serve you.
I want them to serve we, the people, government, by, of, for the people.
And with a slim majority, if they don't get their act together and they don't accept an undeniable truth to quote Rush Limbaugh, the undeniable truth is they're gonna succeed or fail together.
The undeniable truth is nobody's gonna get everything that they want.
Nobody.
The undeniable truth is, and I had a poll from Insider Advantage, our friend Matt Towery, who joined us on Monday's program, that 70 percent of Americans want their congressmen and women to go to Congress and support the Trump agenda.
And they want them to work in unison together.
And also, he came out with another poll today.
I mentioned it to the president 56%.
But I digress, and I just want to say thank you.
All those cool experiences are only because I because you you make that happen for me.
It's great for me, but also I do feel this way.
Because you give me that opportunity, I can do an interview with Donald Trump in ways that nobody else will do it.
There's not a it's not a complicated trick to interviewing Donald Trump.
He's the president of our country.
And I want to hear what he has to say.
I want to direct the conversation.
I want to know answers.
If he seems to be doing a political dodge, I'll just go in a little bit deeper and see if I can get you know the answer I want out of him.
But we want to know what his plans are.
And he's been very upfront, very clear.
We got into everything today.
California wildfires.
Wow, what a conversation we had about is uh the assassination, what life was like outside the four years that he wasn't there, what it was like to get in there the first time, what his priorities are, the trips that he's taking, the conversations with foreign leaders.
It is a wide, wide ranging interview.
I'm watching myself on Fox News right now.
Uh I guess they're they're releasing tapes of this.
And anyway, so the uh one cool thing that happened today is the president showed me the letter.
It's now since been made public.
I didn't know it was gonna be made public, that Joe Biden left him uh when he left office, and it says, uh, and I asked him about this because he left Biden a letter, and Biden said it was very nice, but never released the contents.
Anyway, Trump said as I take leave of this sacred Biden wrote as I take leave of this sacred office, I wish you and your family all the best in the next four years.
The American people, people around the world, look to this House for steadiness in the inevitable storms of history.
And my prayer is is that in the coming years, you know, they will be a time of prosperity, peace, and grace for our nation.
May God bless you and guide you as he has blessed and guided our beloved country since our founding.
And, you know, which I thought was pretty cool.
That doesn't let him off the hook as far as I'm concerned.
One thing we got out of James Comer and Jim Jordan last night, uh, all of those people, Joe Biden pardoned, and that's all the people on the January 6th committee, too.
All of them.
And I will tell you, this is pretty amazing.
By the way, the show and video of JD Vancey in the Oval Office for the first time, he's like in a state of this is pretty cool.
It actually is very cool.
I wish every I wish every American had the opportunity to walk through there.
It is there's so much history in that building in that room in that place, and there's just no place like it.
And there's no country like our country.
And that is what has been so sad and tragic about the last four years is how preventable all these problems are.
You can prevent, you know, you you can fund the police and and you can prevent crimes from happening.
We could have prevented this disaster, this invasion at our border, allowing in unvetted terrorists and criminals and murderers and rapists and cartel members and gang members.
We could have prevented all of it.
All of that could have been prevented.
We could have had, you know, an energy policy that would have made the country rich.
We could have also involved ourselves in way to bring peace to Europe and peace to the Middle East, but we didn't have leaders that knew what to do.
It's it's pretty pathetic.
And anyway, uh it's it was just an honor to do it.
I thank all of you for allowing me the opportunity to do this on behalf of really of all of you.
And I think you'll find the interview revealing tonight.
Um now I talk about President uh uh Chi.
I talk about Vladimir Putin in this interview.
Uh we go into great specificity, we go into great detail about he put out a post today as it relates to Vladimir Putin and the conversation that he had with President Chi.
He didn't reveal everything, but he revealed enough to know that he is planning to put a ten percent tariff on Chinese imports starting February one in response to Beijing's role in fentanyl trafficking.
That's a tariff of ten percent on China based on the fact that they're sending fentanyl to Mexico and Canada.
And anyway, and then when asked about the conversation he had with Chi, when I talked to him, he said we didn't talk too much about tariffs, other than he knows where I stand.
And then on the issue of Vladimir Putin, uh President Trump warned his Russian counterpart to end the war in Ukraine quickly, or else face high levels of taxes, tariffs, and sanctions.
He took to Truth Social on Wednesday to double down on his criticisms of Putin, Russians Russia's hobbled economy, warning Moscow that things would only get worse if the war does not end soon.
Quote, settle now, stop this ridiculous war.
It's only gonna get worse.
We can do it the easy way or the hard way, and the easy way is always better.
It's time to make a deal.
No more lives should be lost.
If we don't make a deal, and soon I'll have no other choice but to put high levels of taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on everything being sold by Russia to the U.S. and various other participating countries.
And by the way, let me tell you what that's called.
It's called a negotiation.
Everyone, he's talking about tariffs.
He's scaring us.
That's so bad for the economy.
He's scaring us.
Well, Trump restored uh uh Cuba to a state sponsor of terror because they're a Hamas ally.
I thought that was a pretty good uh decision by the president.
Zalinsky is trying to make become Trump's best friend, maybe a little late after sucking up to Biden so long.
You know, the Trump effect is in full force.
Macron is now telling Europe to wake up and lift their defense spending and boost NATO.
You think that would happen if Joe Biden or Kamala Harris were president?
No, it would not.
It absolutely would not.

My interview with Donald Trump tonight, nine Eastern on the Fox News channel.
Uh we went longer than an hour.
Wow.
We got all it's his this is gonna air over two nights now.
What do you I am shocked to hear that you and Donald Trump talk longer than expected.
I barely made it here.
And I was like, What?
Where is the breaking news sounded?
Are you done?
I'm never done.
And then afterwards we just hung out in the Oval Office.
Well, you have known him for 30 years.
I have.
I mean, we and I even said on air, we have a professional relationship or personal relationship.
No, no, you know what?
Here's the thing.
He's so generous.
He offers stuff all the time.
And he's like, No, no, no, take this home with you.
Here's a pen.
Here, take a couple of hats.
Take it and he's I'm like, okay, I'll give them to my kids.
You know, stuff like that.
But I mean, you're right.
I really you know what I want?
I want one thing from Donald Trump.
I want him to implement his agenda and save our country.
He's doing it.
That's the only thing I want.
And I've said that to him numerous times.
And it was it was pretty funny in the transition.
I mean, I would hear stories about people going to Mar-a-Lago, and mean they're getting on their knees begging for jobs and you know, opportunities to work for him.
And I'm like, oh man.
Listen, he's done more in what, 48 hours than Biden did in four years.
Yeah.
He's answered more questions, he's made more comprehensive statements, he uses words in a sentence.
He's gonna get on the road and he's gonna go to California, he's gonna stop in in Nevada, say thank you to the people of Nevada.
And what's happening on Friday?
And he's going to North Carolina.
My man.
My man.
God bless the people of West North Carolina.
Well, I I met actually in the town hall last night.
There must have been like five North Carolinian congressmen and one woman, I think, um, that I met, the people I di I don't know well.
It's weird that a lot of these Congress people, they don't do TV.
They don't do radio.
They don't and I kind of don't understand why.
Because if you go to Washington, you would think you want to make a difference.
Now I know in their own way they are making a difference.
And I know if they vote the right way.
That's I'll take that as a good, you know, 70% of their job.
But to go out and communicate and put your your neck on the line, there's a reason you see the same people on TV all the time, is because the others don't want to be on TV or they suck at it, and you can't get anything out of them if they're on TV or radio.
I mean, we've had those moments where we've had on this radio program elected officials.
Let's put it this way.
If I have a scheduled 12 minute interview and I cut it short after five minutes, that means you're boring me.
And if you're boring me, you must be boring those audience.
You made a really good point last night in your town hall, and you said uh I'd like to take a poll of everyone here and say that you guys all understand that you're not getting everything you want, right?
And we all got to meet at the middle, and we all got to sit at the table.
And I thought that was really, really good.
And I think the people of North Carolina have suffered because to your point, the senators and the Congress people from North Carolina have not put their ass on the line for their constituents.
They should be screaming bloody murder.
And they are now because they got a friend in the White House, but they didn't do it when it was hard.
We were screaming bloody murder the whole time and trying to make people aware and Operation Hilo and Samaritan's Purse, and I'm domain donating money.
I donated, you know, uh to a number of organizations and private GoFundMe.
Yeah, because you actually kept your word.
Like Donald Trump, you actually do and say what you say you're gonna do.
It's very rare.
And I didn't donate small amounts of money.
No, you didn't.
You crushed it.
No, I well, it's not that I crushed it.
I mean, um I'm blessed, I'm in a position I can do it.
But I'll tell you something.
When you donate, it's sort of like there's that Bible story of a lady that I think puts like a penny in and donates.
And and Jesus' description of her was you know, she gave everything.
She gave more than the rich guy that put a hundred dollars in or two hundred dollars in.
And I think about that every time I go to church and I like pull out a lot of cash because I you everyone I usually carry a lot of cash, which is really good to tell you know, twenty-five million people.
Um, it's an interesting approach for sure.
Um but I put out a lot of cash and I'll take like, you know, my uh if my kids are with me and I try to drag them to church whether they want to go or not.
And you know, I'll hand them you know money, and then I'll I'll take like a hundred or two hundred dollars out of my pocket, I'll put it in the collection plate.
Churches have to survive, right?
And then I make my annual donations, which is the big you know, bigger donations.
Um I I believe in tithing two ways.
I do but believe, and one way is you give you two some money to your church, and one way is you give money to people that you run into in your day-to-day life that have needs, and I try to do it that way.
I don't and I'm not I'm not saying I'm the most generous person on earth.
I'm just saying that I believe you you have to give back.
Well, I will tell you Eric Robinson of Operation Hilo is on tomorrow.
And there's no one that sings your praises more and talks more about the goodness from the people of the show and from you personally.
Well, you know what?
They did a great job when no one else was there.
And Samaritan's Purse did the same thing.
They're still on the ground.
I saw Franklin Graham That's who's on the ground, Franklin Graham and Operation Hilo.
That's it.
And then local churches.
And and FEMA really did drop the ball.
And by the way, President Trump talks about that tonight.
Uh, all right, back to the economy.
So Trump is suggesting Elon Musk, Larry Ellison buy TikTok.
I don't really care.
As long as they get rid of any algorithm that would spy on the American people, I am fine with them buying that, keeping it up and running.
I actually think it's smart.
People like it.
I I can't do social media because I have a tendency to create another job for myself.
And I've now got three jobs.
Because we have this radio show, and I'm dedicated to doing the best show I can do every day.
Job number one, job number two is preparing and doing a great TV show, the best show I can do every night.
Now I'm doing a Fox Nation show called Sean, which is long form interviews, more personal, less political, different side of me, which I think it was kind of clever that they called it Sean.
But anyway, one oh interesting note, oil prices went down this week after President Trump signed the executive orders aimed at unleashing American uh production and hinting at tariffs against trading partners, sparking fears of a trade war.
West Texas intermediate dropped uh more than two percent to close at 76 dollars a barrel, and which is you know, down from where it was.
Uh we've got to get down to like 40 bucks a barrel.
But it's it still has to be worthwhile for energy companies to invest uh the billions and it's billions.
This is this is the danger he has a four-year term.
Is we're gonna ask energy companies to invest billions, and they have to get long term unbreakable contracts to do the deal otherwise the federal government has to pay them back that's the only way that's gonna be fair so I hope that happens uh and the Trump TikTok uh issue they did get a 75 day extension we we talked briefly about he was funny on that he said oh you mean they sp people spy on us the Chinese spy on us gee what
shock because during the campaign the Chinese and the Iranians hacked into his phone his campaign's emails his campaign staffers phones people around him that know his phones etc etc etc I know more people that had their their phone hacked um anybody remember Russia summit in Singapore and Vietnam oh boy strangers and black t-shirts and black pants in our rooms They weren't the cleaning crew, I'll tell you that.
You mean when they swept my room day and they did not make the better did not make the better they were bugs it's probably not but they're not the kind of bugs people are thinking creepy crawl is the creepy listeners.
Yeah no and then they would sweep my room and then they would put tape on the outside of the door so it remained sealed they still got in but Sarah and I came in the room and they were in the room still they timed slow down that sounds really bad.
Sarah and I were in your room no Sarah and I were in her room coming to her man you got made that weird at 330 what are you talking about no that was so but we came in and they were still do you remember that oh yeah Kristen's saying it happened to somebody else on our staff too.
Yeah and you know but and then I get a uh a burner phone I wish I could tell the story who called me on the burner phone it was pretty funny.
House Republicans have announced a bill to curb birthright citizenship after Donald Trump signed the executive order.
This is where Congress has to stay united.
I've been warning you that I'm going to have to deputize this audience again.
Please don't vote for Donald Trump and say, good luck, sir.
And you're on your own.
No, you got to help him because Congress is going to a lot of these guys don't have backbones and they're going to need to have their spines stiffened up a little bit occasionally.
Anyway, Brian Babin, Congressman, announced the bill to deny birthright citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants.
Which is the right thing to do.
I don't know.
I don't even know why that's that's controversial.
Mayor Eric Adams in hot water with Democrats for skipping MLK celebrations in New York City to attend Donald Trump's inauguration.
Democrats already want to get rid of Eric Adams.
They're after him.
Now, if I I've had one conversation off the record with Eric Adams and it was not about politics.
And anyway, my recommendation is he pull a Bloomberg.
Let him run as a Republican.
Why not?
notrew Cuomo is leading the Democratic Party nomination and Mayor Adams is an eight percent I ran into Tom Holman today.
I had fun with Tom Holman on TV the other night.
I said, I've tried hard.
I can never get you to smile.
I can't get you to laugh.
I used that.
I said that to him.
And you know what?
A little baby smirk came out of him.
Just the baby one.
But he's the right guy for the job.
He reported to me that hundreds of Biden illegal criminals have been rounded up on Trump's first day in office.
And the list is getting bigger by the hour.
100 Biden illegals refused to leave the Mexican border.
They camped out in the San Ysidro border checkpoint as of this week.
After about 200 had stubbornly refused to leave when the Trump administration shut down the custom and border protection app that allowed all of Harris Biden's unvetted illegals to enter the country.
Some have continued to arrive fully aware that their appointments are gone.
We came to the border this morning in the hope that they will keep our appointment even though it was canceled.
Said one Honduran mother who had an immigration meeting booked for Wednesdays.
one p.m. on Tuesday uh Trump took office immediately halted the use of the CBP uh one a customs and border protection agency app and the Biden administration used to allow a million unvetted illegals to flow into the country then of course they were flying them in another genius idea well well let's pass go and collect two hundred dollars Let's just fly people in directly,
not vet them, and send them to the you know, the city of their choice.
Let's do that.
Great idea.
Uh other news.
Uh Trump has ordered 1,000 troops to the border.
I asked him about this today to halt the invasion of uh these illegals into the country.
He is serious about getting the job done.
Biden illegals are now self-deporting the Trump effect.
We see a lot of Trump effect.
I mean, for McCrone to go out there and tell European countries to start paying their fair share for NATO and for defense.
You think that would have happened if if Kamala Harris won the election?
No.
Government officials in India tell Trump they will likely take back 18,000 of their citizens who entered America illegally.
Good.
They can have them.
Don't respect our laws, our borders, our sovereignty.
Sorry, but you just have to go.
What else do we have here?
Uh oh, House Republicans launched a new January 6th committee.
You know what?
And I want to know.
I want them to bring in all the people pardon before Congress.
Bring them all in.
They can't plead the fifth.
You know, bring Comer and Jordan said they're going to do it last night.
