So there's a controversy yesterday.
The media mob, they took it hook, line, and sinker.
I guess it got started by Punch Bowl News founder Jake Sherman posting on X about an alleged comment that Donald Trump made during this closed-door meeting with House Republicans on Capitol Hill yesterday.
And he was talking about Milwaukee, where the Republican National Convention is, where we will be, and said it's a horrible city.
I guess that was the front cover of the local paper today.
Anyway, that's what he quoted Trump as saying.
Media was not present for the meeting.
I asked Mike Johnson last night.
He said I was standing right next to him.
He never said it.
However, anyway, he did not attribute the comment to any source, even an anonymous one.
People from the likes of Congressman Jim Banks, who we know, a friend of the show, slammed the report as false.
I was in the meeting.
He never disparaged Milwaukee.
Other representatives said the same thing.
We're going to talk to one in just a second.
Brian Stile from Wisconsin's 1st District absolutely says, I was in the room and he did not say it.
And there's no better place than Wisconsin in July, he went on to say.
Representative Derek Van Orden of Wisconsin said that tweet of Sherman, another classic example of Adam Schiffey reporting under the Democratic Party and their shills pretending to be journalists.
And it goes, I could just keep going on and on and on.
Now, Donald Trump did talk about high crime areas and did mention Milwaukee as one of them.
And if you look at the statistics, he's 1,000% correct.
Milwaukee ranks within the top three for the largest cities with the highest violent crime rate.
And that information is pulled directly from FBI data.
Among the largest cities, Milwaukee's number three for murder, aggravated assault, and for robbery.
The number one state, by the way, is California.
This is not unlike national trends that we see.
We saw the crime surge in the summer of 2020, and then crime up again under Joe Biden in 2021.
Murder rates up nearly 50% in a decade in Milwaukee.
I mean, it's not good.
And it's sad because we do know how to do know how to stop violent crime.
You know, 2022, the latest year we have full statistics.
But anyway, in Milwaukee, it's 2.7 times greater their violent crime rate than the U.S. average.
And it was higher than 98.6% of all other U.S. cities.
And the crime rate, you know, is not good.
I mean, if you look at, for example, how dangerous it can be compared to the nearest cities, you know, West Milwaukee, you know, it's 1,085.1, I assume, per 100,000.
If you look at other areas, it's nowhere near as high.
You know, the highest one is West Allis.
Anyway, so it didn't happen, but that didn't stop the Democratic mayor of Milwaukee from hitting back at Donald Trump, who didn't say it.
But listen.
Well, Donald Trump wants to talk about things that he thinks are horrible.
All of us live through his presidency, so right back at you, buddy.
I'd say that.
Look, obviously, Donald Trump is wrong about something yet again.
I find it kind of perplexing.
I find it kind of strange that he would insult the largest city in Wisconsin because he's running for president.
He obviously wants to win Wisconsin, win the election.
And so to insult the state that's hosting your convention, I think is kind of bizarre, actually.
It's kind of unhinged in a way, especially considering the fact that in Milwaukee, there are about 50,000 Republicans who live right here in the city.
So you're calling their home horrible.
I mean, I don't quite understand that.
Oh, you don't quite understand it.
Why haven't you done a better job as mayor to keep the people in your city, of your state, safe and secure?
Why haven't you restored law and order?
Which is the better question.
Anyway, Congressman Brian Stile from Wisconsin's 1st District joins us.
Okay, so how did this lie get expanded on?
And did the president say it or not say it?
Mike Johnson told me last night, absolutely he did not.
President Trump did not disparage the city of Milwaukee.
I was in the room.
I did not hear him say it.
I've said he didn't say it.
But what we did talk about is how big Democrat liberal cities across the country, Milwaukee included, have horrible policies that are hurting the people that live there.
As you correctly noted, the crime in Milwaukee is way too high.
It was just yesterday that a nine-year-old boy was shot and killed on the north side.
We can look at how the elections are actually administered.
The city of Milwaukee had to replace our elections leader just the other day.
And you can look at what's going on in the Milwaukee public school system.
The same challenges that are being faced in big blue cities across the country are the result of Democratic policies, and those policies are horrible.
The president, though, did not disparage the city of Milwaukee.
I mean, that seems to be the main thing.
I mean, all of these blue cities and blue states with the highest crime and murder rates and violent crime rates, why don't they ever lift a finger?
Like, for example, going back to 2009, Barack Obama's home city, hometown, Chicago.
Once I realized he wasn't, he mentioned, I think, the violence in Chicago maybe twice during his presidency, and it was bewildering to me.
Because on any given weekend, you could predict with a certain degree of certainty how many people will be shot, how many people will be shot and killed.
And then I would scroll the names of all these people whose names, names we've never heard of before, that were shot and shot and killed on any given weekend or any period of time.
These are not names.
They're not household names.
It's not George Floyd.
And nobody seems to give a damn.
And I got to tell you something.
It's sad because those lives matter, Congressman, and yet they don't lift a finger to stop the violence in Chicago.
And seemingly, this guy, this mayor, is not lifting a finger, and politicians in Milwaukee are not lifting a finger to restore law and order and safety and security for the people of Milwaukee that deserve it.
It's the Democratic policies that are causing the problem in the first place.
That's why they don't want to talk about it.
It's the same Democrats that stood up and said we need to defund police.
And as the data comes in, it's very clear.
Once you disparage your law enforcement and you defund law enforcements across the country, what you get is rising crime.
What they don't want to do is have to talk about how their policies are actually hurting the people who live in their cities.
But the mainstream media will cover for them, try to distract, just as they're doing about comments that President Trump made.
They'll do anything they can to avoid talking about the challenges that they face and the policy solutions that actually Republicans and conservatives have to actually address this from funding law enforcement and enforcing the law to school choice.
Do the people of Milwaukee, do you think they now fully know and understand that this is a lie that their mayor is telling them and the Democrats have been telling about Donald Trump saying Milwaukee's a horrible city?
Are they now maybe turning the question on the elected officials in Milwaukee and asking, why are our schools below par?
Why do we have such a violent crime rate in this city?
And what are you going to do to fix it?
Is that now maybe jump-started a real discussion?
Yeah, I don't think anybody's surprised that there's media that wants to twist the words of President Trump.
The good news for everybody in Wisconsin is President Trump's coming to Racine, Wisconsin, about 25 miles south of Milwaukee on Tuesday, where they can hear the president in full context talk about the challenges that we face, the challenges we face in Milwaukee of crime, of the school district, of the election administrator that had to be replaced.
And they actually hear about how we can get our country back on track.
And so people are far better served to come and listen directly to President Trump.
And that's the beauty of him taking this on the road and going and talking directly to the American people, unfiltered by the mainstream media.
Well, we appreciate you setting the record straight for us, Congressman.
And I actually look forward to being in Milwaukee.
I'll be there for the Republican National Convention.
I'll be in Chicago for the Democratic National Convention.
I'm not expecting a warm welcome in Chicago in particular.
I expect a better welcome in Wisconsin, to be honest.
I love the people of Wisconsin, but Milwaukee is a pretty liberal city.
We'll see what happens.
But hopefully we'll get to see you at the convention.
Absolutely.
Milwaukee is a liberal city, but let me tell you, when people come and see Wisconsin in July, you're going to realize what a great state it is.
I think the whole nation will actually see what a great place the state of Wisconsin is.
Yeah, listen, looking forward to it.
Here we go with just a mere, what, 143 days away from Election Day, 95 days till our early voting starts in Pennsylvania.
Thank you, sir.
Appreciate it, Congressman.
800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, Ohio John is next on the Sean Hannity Show.
John, how are you?
Glad you called.
I'm doing absolutely okay, Sean, and thank you for what you do and for being here.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity.
What's on your mind?
Yeah, Michelle Obama's name has been tossed around, I know, a lot.
And name recognition is the number one thing, I think, in any presidential election.
And they want to get rid of Biden and Harris.
So my theory or prediction is that Michelle Obama could be brought in, but this is only temporarily.
And then she could resign and stay three, four months, and her VP would come up to be the president, which could be Newsome, maybe Hakeem Jeffries.
And she would resign and bring them up to there.
So how would that change the polls immediately?
That would have to really change the polls for the whole election.
Look, a lot of people have been speculating.
And as Joe's cognitive state continues to deteriorate, I guess it gets louder.
We're hearing Democrats now in a full state of panic.
I think the person that has been the loudest in expressing the concern about this is James Carville.
And do I put it past the Democrats to do a last-minute switcheroo?
No, I do not.
Do I think that Michelle Obama would do it?
I really don't think it's going to be her, but I guess anything is possible.
You got to hold out the possibility of anything.
I think the more likely choice would be Vice President Harris, although, and I think any effort to maybe jump over her and replace her with either Gavin or Gretchen Whitmer would be met with fierce resistance.
But so far, barring a disaster 13 days from now in a debate, or maybe he's one fall away from not being on the ticket, you just got to assume that it's going to be Biden and Harris.
And if that's the case, you know, I think that I like our chances, to be honest with you.
Anyway, appreciate the call, my friend, 800-941-Shawn is a number if you want to be a part of the program.
We'll get to more of your calls coming up.

Now, let's get to our busy phones as we continue this Friday.
Steve is in Colorado next on the Sean Hannity Show.
Steve, hi, how are you?
Glad you called.
Thank you, Sean.
Hey, I have a question on the Trump trial.
When Michael Cohen, Cohen, admitted in an open court that he stole money from Trump, shouldn't a judge have thrown him out at the very least?
Well, I mean, I think it's up to the defense, and I think the defense did a good job, frankly, of gutting him and pointing out that he's not somebody that can be trusted.
And do I think that the issue, honestly, I think the issue of Michael Cohn, I thought he exonerated Donald Trump when he said that he had told many people that he did all of this on his own without Donald Trump's support.
But there was nothing illegal about a non-disclosure agreement anyway.
They happen every day.
I'd bet any amount of money that the DA's office in New York City has probably over the years, dozens, if not hundreds of them.
And so it's a very common practice.
And if he claims he did it on his own, that should have ended everything.
But again, it was supposed to be about a bookkeeping error as a means of deception.
It wasn't even deducted from the taxes.
And it was labeled a legal expense.
And Michael Cohn was the lawyer for Donald Trump.
So tell me why there was a problem.
It was eight years old.
The statute of limitations on a misdemeanor had run out.
And just to get Trump and fulfill a campaign promise, Alvin Bragg upcharged it to a federal elections felony.
And yet, a judge that is so far beyond abusively biased that, you know, that's how we found ourselves in the situation we found ourselves in.
So you raised great points, but, you know, by the way, why hasn't Michael Cohn been charged by that office when he admitted to stealing the money from the Trump organization?
That was going to be a nice comment to you, was why hasn't he been charged?
Great point.
Great question.
But I've got to mention one thing before you let me go.
I think you are right on your evening show.
I listen to you every night as I'm driving a truck across this country, and I are 100% right that In-N-Out Burgers should definitely come to Florida.
In-N-Out Burger to Florida.
I'm going to start a campaign.
I think Ron DeSantis, the governor, wanted to swear me in as a volunteer Chamber of Commerce member that night and task me with that mission.
You know, at one point, I remember that In-N-Out had said that they weren't going to go east of Texas.
Well, apparently, they're opening a number of locations and an office in Franklin, Tennessee.
And if they can go to Tennessee, Florida's not that far away.
They do great down here.
I'd invest whatever amount of money they ever wanted because it's such a great product.
Anyway, thank you.
Appreciate the call, my friend.
And be careful when you're driving over the road.
And thank you for what you do every day.
All right, quick break, right back.
We'll continue.
You know, one thing we haven't spent enough time doing, and we are trying to make up for it, is follow some of these Senate races.
One phenomenon that has kind of emerged, even in swing states, is that Donald Trump is outperforming both congressional candidates and Senate candidates.
And remember, if Donald Trump wins and he's in the, we have a Democratic majority in the House and Senate, that does not help us.
Now, another phenomenon that has emerged is in the state of Virginia, the Commonwealth of Virginia, just like the state of Minnesota.
And you see these polls that have come out that show Donald Trump actually tied with Joe Biden, which means those states are in play.
Had a conversation with Glenn Young, the governor of Virginia, recently this week.
There's a very impressive Senate candidate.
Actually, it was Linda who brought him to my attention.
Hung Kao is his name.
And his background is pretty impressive.
He commissioned as a special ops officer, explosive ordnance disposal and deep sea diving.
Not exactly easy work for the U.S. Naval Academy, served with special ops in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia.
His non-combat assignments included balancing the Navy's $140 billion budget at the Pentagon and working with Homeland Security, the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.
And anyway, he's got such incredible academic credentials, a master's in physics from the Naval Postgraduate School, fellowships at MIT and Harvard.
I mean, really impressive.
And he's got good values, and he's running for the U.S. Senate and the state of Virginia.
And, well, anyway, Mr. Kyle, thank you so much for joining us.
Great to have you on the program.
And it looks like you've had a very boring, slow, and meandering life and a lot of time on your hands.
Sean, thank you so much for having me.
It's such an honor.
Look, I came here as a refugee from Vietnam, you know, and this country gave me everything.
And I grabbed onto that American dream.
But you know what?
I paid back every dime with my service to this country because I love it so much.
Well, I love the fact that you love our country.
Is Virginia real?
Are these polls in Virginia real in your view?
Yes, absolutely.
Seven polls now are showing that Joe Biden and President Trump are basically dead even.
Not only that, the guy I'm going against, Tim Kaine, is at 43%.
And you know, anybody below 50% as an incumbent is in deep trouble.
Well, he's got a guy that I'd love to see go, and I'd love to see you win this race.
Tell me what's happened in Virginia.
Why are these polls so consistent?
I mean, we did cover Glenn Young's victory, and we followed it closely because the polls did indicate he had a chance to win, and then he ended up running away with the race.
But I've always worried that Virginia, you know, with Northern Virginia and all the people that work in D.C. that live there, it just basically kind of puts cinder blocks on the election scales in the Democrats' favor.
Is that not the case anymore?
Well, I mean, people are just mad.
I mean, they can't afford food to put on the table.
They can't afford a house.
They can't afford to fill up their gas tanks.
Now, when I retired in 2021, because after I left Afghanistan in January, six months later, Joe Biden caused the whole country to fall apart.
And watching mothers hand babies to Marines, I mean, that's just like Vietnam all over again.
So I said I couldn't do this anymore.
So I ran for U.S. Congress in the 10th congressional district, which includes Loudoun County.
And I didn't win, but I moved that needle 13%, Sean, from a Joe Biden plus 19 down to 6%.
So I don't have to win Northern Virginia.
I just need to move the needle like I did in 22.
And when the South comes out for us, we've already won this race by three points.
Well, I'd love to see that happen.
And I think we definitely have a good shot there.
Tell me what's going on in the ground in Virginia, because if Virginia was a purple state, and I thought it was leading more blue until Glenn Young won, if it's a purple state and now it's trending back Republican, there's got to be reasons.
I would imagine it's immigration.
I would imagine it's law and order.
I would imagine it's the Biden economy.
I would imagine it's Joe Biden's cognitive state.
I would imagine that people are not particularly happy with the state of the world with war in Europe and war in the Middle East and a president that surrendered in the war against radical Islamic terrorism.
And I'd imagine that it's a lot of bread and butter issues and that people are concerned about the future of this country and the state of the world.
It's really that simple.
It really is.
Look, under Donald Trump, you know, when I went into Pentagon in 2016, I was counting every missile, every bomb, every torpedo for imminent war on North Korea.
He came in and somehow he thwarted that and physically walked into North Korea.
And then at the end of his administration, you know, we brought peace to the Middle East for the first time in my adult life through the Abraham Accords.
So under Donald Trump, it was our economy that was on fire.
Now under Joe Biden, the world's on fire.
Not just the world, but also our border.
We have millions of illegal immigrants coming across here.
We're paying a billion dollars a day for these guys.
And without a border, every state is a border state.
Every city is a sanctuary city.
And they bring in all these things.
And as a legal immigrant to this country, Sean, I'm telling you, don't ask for the American dream if you're not willing to obey the American laws and embrace the American culture, because I did.
I love this country so much.
I wrote a blank check to this nation up to and including my life because I love it so much.
What do you make of three incidences that now have unfolded this week?
One is this Russian nuclear submarine that finally arrived in Cuba on Wednesday morning.
This is, again, a nuclear sub with hypersonic capability, according to reports.
To me, it's like, you know, if that's not as close to a Cuban missile crisis, I don't know what is.
And the media's ignored it.
Biden's ignored it.
What do you make of China taunting America that the U.S. would definitely lose a drone war?
What do you make of what I think is another huge epic Biden failure as reported in the Wall Street Journal?
And that is that Saudi Arabia ended the 80-year petro-dollar deal that they had with the United States.
And what's sad about this is they will now sell oil in multiple currencies on top of their decision, along with other OPEC nations, that they're going to cut back and continue to cut back oil production to keep the price of energy high through 2025.
What is your reaction to those incidences and Joe Biden seemingly ignoring all of them?
Well, when there's a leadership voice, somebody's going to fill it.
So, yes, the three frigates that carry hypersonic weapons, and so for your listeners, that's anything that goes above Mach 5, five times the speed of sound.
We don't have any countermeasures for that, including a nuclear submarine out there.
And not only that, don't forget the balloon that came across.
They were exploiting our internet and our laws because they were transmitting everything from our strategic sites to our internet.
And in December, Chinese drones were flying over Langley Air Force Base and it shut down F-22 flights for eight days.
And we had the ability to jam it, but through SCC regulations, we couldn't because it's illegal to jam signals in our homeland.
However, they could have given an exception to the policy, an ETP.
However, Tim Kaine didn't do that.
He's a senator from Virginia and he just rolled over.
And this is the problem: we have weakness in the White House.
We have people that don't know what they're doing.
This is why people like Donald Trump and myself need to get in there to get things right.
You know, Donald Trump doesn't need to do this, right?
He just, he's a billionaire.
I don't need to do this.
I left a career of honor to do this because we both love this country so much.
And this is what, this is they're yearning for leadership right now.
And this is why we're stepping up.
Yeah, well, I'm glad that you are.
We're going to continue to follow your race, and we wish you the best of luck.
If there's anything we can do to help you, please let us know.
If people want to learn more about you, how do they do that?
Please go to hung4va.com.
That's h-u-n-f-o-r-v-a.com.
If you can't vote for me, you know, I can vote for you because my vote in the Senate will affect all Americans.
And I just need ammunition.
I'll fight every day.
I've been shot at.
I've been blown up.
I just need ammunition.
And that ammunition comes in the form of donations because I need to get your voice out there.
So, Sean, thank you so much for having me on.
It's quite an honor.
I've been listening to you for 30 years.
Well, I really appreciate you being with us.
We'll have you back again.
This is an important state, important race.
And if Virginia could swing red, it's going to be a great election night.
I'll tell you that.
Thank you, Hung Cow.
We appreciate it.
We'll have you back soon.
Thank you, Sean.
800-941-Sean is on number Michael, California on this Friday.
Michael, how are you?
Glad you called.
How you doing?
Fine, Sean.
Couldn't agree more with your previous guess.
I'm a former Navy operations specialist, worked in a SCIF, basically, CIC.
And the day of the debates, when they came out with that letter stating that 51 people thought it was Russian disinformation, I posted on Facebook that it had to be false, that they were lying.
And here's the reason.
Hollywood wants you to believe that anybody with a security clearance can take a look at anything.
And that's simply not the way intelligence works.
You have to be read into a situation in order to, because you have a need to know to do your job.
Me and you could be working in a combat information center.
We could both have the same clearances.
I could be told to work on something.
I signed something out of the vault, set it on my desk, and I'm reading it.
You walk up.
I'm required by the law to flip that upside down until you leave because you're not allowed to read it, even though you have requirements and stuff.
That's why I know Biden, when he was a senator, that's why I knew that letter was false, okay, because they were former intelligence people.
They hadn't been read into it.
And if I'd been Trump, I would have told them, I don't care if you have 100 people sign that letter.
They're former intelligence.
They don't have access to the information because they don't have a need to know to do their job.
They had no access.
They had no knowledge.
They didn't examine the laptop.
They were asked by Wincon and organized by Wink and Tony Blinken.
It was a political move on their part.
And they did it because for one reason and one reason only.
They were given talking points.
They were fed to them.
And they did it to help elect Joe Biden and mitigate what would have been probably a tipping point in that election in the weeks leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
That's why they did it.
Yeah, I agree.
And in fact, I posted that on Facebook.
Facebook didn't just take it down.
They actually broke the links so that you couldn't find it anywhere.
And because they didn't like what I'd said.
And if you think about it, when he was a senator and he was taking all that information out of the skip, which he had no legal right to, should have been arrested back then.
Okay.
But he took it out.
And the reason he wanted those postings to those different states like Ukraine, China, and all that, was so he could get access to the intel for that area.
That way he could access it.
Okay.
So my question is, what did he do with it afterwards?
You're raising great questions.
I'd like to know, too.
If you want everything to change for the better, you got that we need a new president.
We need a Republican House.
We need a Republican Senate.
We need real majorities.
That's the way to make change happen in this country.
You know, all the other solutions are fine and dandy.
And yes, people need to be held accountable.
But at the end of the day, nobody's going to be held accountable if we don't win this election.
So that's where I'm focusing all of my attention right now because that's the most important issue, I think, before the entire world and the entire country.
Appreciate the call, my friend.
Listen, you have a great weekend.
And I didn't say this.
And Linda, to Anthony and everybody, happy Father's Day.
And I just want to wish everybody the best this weekend.
Do you have any special?
Ethan's got too little.
I forgot.
I know.
Ethan's a daddy, too.
We just got to get Jason there.
We're all set.
And Katie there.
Stanger.
We've got so many dads on our team.
So happy Father's Day to everybody.
Okay, I didn't remember everybody.
Jeez.
That's what I'm here for.
I'm here to help.
And you.
Anything special that you guys are planning or no?
Oh, my gosh.
I have such a big surprise for my husband.
I can't wait.
Are you going to tell me or no?
Absolutely not.
I'll tell you on Monday.
Stay tuned.
Why won't you tell me today?
Because I work a media, and if I want everybody to listen, they have to tune in on Monday.
It's called a tease.
Well, you could tell me offline and then still tell everybody else on Monday.
Don't I got it?
Okay, are you ready?
I'm going to tell you.
Are you ready?
Here it comes.
I'm ready.
You did not.
Did you say that off air or on air?
I said it off air in your ear.
That's why Ethan's playing the Jeopardy music.
That's a very, very cool idea.
I love it.
I know.
And everybody's going to be there, right?
Everybody.
Cool.
Well done.
You get an A ⁇ .
Love the idea.
