I wouldn't go out there and extol the miracle of the Biden economy.
It just drives me crazy when he does that.
And prices, although inflation is moderated, prices are still high.
Price of gasoline is still high.
Other prices are still high, and people feel that pinch.
Sometimes when these debates happen, I feel like it's the early 2000s, and I'm talking to some people who think that we can just have landline phones forever.
From border to border.
From sea to shining sea.

Also, we are watching the situation out on abortion in Arizona.
Everybody needs to take a deep breath.
My prediction is this will be resolved in a week or two as both Democrats and Republicans.
I know Democrats want to demagogue abortion.
And the fact that, oh, the Supreme Court out in Arizona has decided to go back to a pre-Civil War era law on abortion.
Well, they have the means of fixing that.
And it's a simple fix.
Republicans need to unite.
They have, well, slim majorities in both chambers out there.
And if they use their majorities wisely and if they stand together, they will then be able to put pressure on the Democrats out there on issues like parental notification about a late-term abortion and a lot of other issues.
Probably, I would argue, politically speaking, putting my personal values aside, I would argue that the country is probably at the 15-week Dobbs decision mark on abortion.
And I have warned that Republicans better be very, very savvy when it comes to this issue because this is all Democrats have to talk about.
They will demagogue.
They will lie on issues like abortion and they will lie.
Democracy is in peril.
By the way, if you can send Sweet Baby in, Linda, that'd be great.
But the question here is, all they have to do is pass a law.
And within the law, they can put in, oh, parental notification.
What are the Democrats then going to do?
They can put in issues like late-term abortion should be banned.
What are the Democrats going to do?
You know, if you ask most Democrats in the lead up to the 2022 election, which I think hurt Republicans and maybe the biggest reason why the predicted red wave never occurred is a lot of it had to do with the issue of abortion and Democrats demagoguing it.
Now, we went through a long list of issues last night.
This is all they've got.
They can't talk about anything they've done that's successful.
They can't talk about anything.
So they just go out and they just lie.
And that's all Joe Biden has been doing.
He's not going to talk about the borders and how he screwed that up.
He's not going to talk about law and order because he's part of the party of defund dismantled no-bail laws.
He's not going to do any of this.
You know, watching this guy yesterday with his cheat sheets everywhere he went, mumbling and bumbling and stumbling.
And, you know, the funniest thing, we had this press conference in the Rose Garden and he had on his typical aviator glasses and he calls on a reporter.
Okay, let me see.
I'm supposed to call on so-and-so next.
And he's literally reading the answer because it appears that he knew the question ahead of time.
That would be fake news.
That would be orchestrated news.
So we had a long discussion last almost, I guess, almost two weeks ago now.
And the best way to reduce your chances of miscalculation, misunderstanding is coming number two.
Well, anyway, let me just stop him to explain this to you.
You can literally see the script that he's reading in the reflection in his giant sunglasses.
I mean, oh, did he just happen to guess right?
Did his team happen to guess right what that reporter that they pre-selected would be asking?
Of course not.
I mean, it's prepared.
He's not capable of taking unscripted questions.
He can't speak extemporaneously.
We have proven that over and over and over again.
He struggled mightily.
You know, on the rare occasions when he's forced to work more than a few minutes, you know, he can't take questions.
He's not going to do a debate with Donald Trump.
He would never be able to function cognitively enough.
Maybe if they jacked him up with whatever, you know, caffeine, Red Bull, or other, whatever he, you know, took before the State of the Union, where Jack Dub Joe showed up and he spoke really fast.
He wouldn't even let Mike Johnson even introduce him.
Mr. Speaker, the President of the United States, it is my great honor and privilege and pleasure to introduce to you the president.
No, they skipped that part because Joe went right into his speech.
He was speeding up, and he spoke so loudly and he started to yell, and it was a very partisan speech.
That was a weird moment because that's not the Joe Biden we saw before or the Joe Biden we have seen since.
So we'll probably see it again if I had to guess during the Democratic National Convention.
Jack Dub Joe will be showing back up again during this campaign.
Now, Donald Trump on the other side of this, constantly working, communicating.
He does interviews for hours on end on any topic, not preselected, not telegraphed ahead of time.
Unbelievable.
It was pretty amazing what happened in that Chick-fil-A in Atlanta yesterday.
But, you know, Biden is scared to leave his bedroom without his giant cheat sheet and the people around him telling him where to stand, what to say, and Who to answer questions from and having the exact answers in front of him that he can read, seemingly knowing the question ahead of time.
Donald Trump doesn't need that preparation.
And they can't run on their policies because their policies have failed.
The last three years, they have wreaked nothing but havoc on this country, all across the country.
Everything has gone as bad as it possibly can go.
If you look at the border alone, we now have what is a massive, clear, present danger, national security threat to this country because of Joe's lack of desire to, or perhaps desire, to break the law, not enforce the laws, to aid and abet in the lawbreaking, and literally have wide open borders.
And now over 10 million unvetted Joe Biden illegal immigrants, including tens and tens of thousands from our top geopolitical foes.
We have been mentioning this because I can guarantee you there are terror cells in this country.
We have, you know, where are they coming from?
China, Russia, Syria, Iran, Egypt, Afghanistan.
What do you think is going to happen?
You think they're all coming here because they want a better life?
They're not.
You know, but in the last three years, are they going to run on the border security?
No.
Are they going to run on his record because everything's gone well?
No, they can't.
We learned yesterday Biden inflation is through the roof and headed in the wrong direction and was anything but transitory.
You know, we have Joe Biden now to catering to his radical base.
And in the process, he's standing down in a war on terrorism after Israel had the worst terrorist attack in their history.
And he is now aiding and abetting the terrorist group Hamas by pressuring Israel to stop their fight against terrorism, which really is a fight for their very survival.
He has abandoned the country of Israel because he needed to appease his radical base.
And now he's left our closest ally, the victim of terrorism, high and dry as they now continue to battle Hamas in the south and Hezbollah in the north and threats from Iran on a daily basis.
And America is nowhere to be found.
He can't run on his record.
He can't answer the question, are you better off than you were four years ago?
You know, so what does he do?
He's now resorting to the typical wild scare tactics.
One of the scare tactics will be democracy in peril.
Yeah, the party that wants one elected official to unilaterally have the power to take off a candidate for, quote, insurrection, even though such candidate was never charged, let alone convicted of insurrection.
You want to talk about a threat to democracy?
Look at our southern border.
Look at all the people coming into our country unvetted.
That is a threat to our way of life in this country.
And the morning you wake up and it's 9-11 all over again or worse, I hope to God it doesn't happen, but it seems inevitable it will happen.
It's A squared, B squared, C squared.
You let in your top geopolitical foes.
You don't vet them.
There are places in America where we have no idea where they are.
Well, that's pretty dangerous.
Even a five-year-old could figure that out for crying out loud.
You know, so this is what they do.
Donald Trump doesn't trust women.
Donald Trump despises Latinos.
Donald Trump literally is taking away health care for millions of Americans and they're going to die.
Donald Trump is going to take away your Social Security and Medicare and pass a ban on abortion.
None of which is true.
None of it remotely true.
He is a liar, but he's a desperate liar.
And this is now why you're going to see them try and demagogue this issue that will be resolved, is my prediction out in Arizona, because that's all they got.
They have nothing else.
I mean, watching Joe yesterday with the prime minister of Japan was embarrassing.
Just completely out of sorts, has no idea where he is, what to do, what to say.
I mean, it's pretty unbelievable.
Then last night, you know, Joe, the common man, Amtrak Joe, who's he hanging out with?
Oh, let's see.
Big tech moguls, billionaires, the Clintons, actors like De Niro and all these other high-falutin people, just like he was doing at Radio City Music Hall when Donald Trump was at the wake of the Mass Opico police officer that was killed.
It's unreal.
Biden is calling out Republicans for the Arizona abortion ban of 1864.
But the funnier part of it is, you know, he came up with a new slogan, a new campaign slogan.
And, you know, he answered by saying, elect me, you know, saying that, you know, he was in the 20th century.
Joe, the 20th century is long gone.
Joe, you said, I'm in the 20th century.
No, it's the 21st century, Joe.
Now we have, now he has another big problem.
It's called inflation, called Biden inflation.
Well, so much for Bidenomics, because year over year, inflation, the numbers came out yesterday, and it's up another 3.5%.
Last year, year over year, it was up 3.2%.
I thought we were being told we're in the middle of a soft landing.
I thought we were being told interest rates are likely to come down any moment now.
Well, it never went away.
They've been saying this, and it's never gone away.
You know, the media is pointing out the obvious that it's starting to pose a problem for Biden.
Even MSDNC, the New York Times, and fake news, CNN, and even the networks are acknowledging what has been obvious to every American now for the entire time this guy's been president.
What exactly is Biden doing about the economy?
Nothing.
All he wants to do is give away free money to young people so they'll vote for him and buy votes in an election year, even though the Supreme Court said he didn't have the right to do it.
He makes a false claim.
Inflation was skyrocketing when he came into office.
That is totally, completely a lie.
It was 1.4%.
Nice try, Joe.
Good talking point, but none of it, as usual, rooted in reality.
And Donald Trump is correct.
That Biden has lost complete control over inflation.
It's back and it's back and it's raging back.
And it even gets worse than that.
Look at what Lawrence Summer had to say, former Obama Treasury Secretary.
He just delivered a devastating blow, just like David Axelrod and Van Jones and James Carvel and Maureen Dowd and now Donna Brazil.
And now you can add Larry Summers, now actually out there rightly criticizing Biden.
And Summers, the actual Biden inflation rate, you know, he's claiming is more than double the 3.5% increase that we had from year over year.
And when the Biden Labor Department reported two years ago that inflation was down, the real Biden inflation rate, you know, Summers is saying was near a crushing 18% because of his policies.
You know, Summers, along with four Harvard colleagues, is writing a new report for the National Bureau of Economic Research.
He said the interest payment on a new 30-year mortgage for the average house has increased more than threefold since 2021.
The interest payment on new car loans has increased more than 80%.
He said the government's own inflation calculations leave out the impact of high borrowing costs.
And then he talked about the example if you're purchasing big ticket items.
The CPI Consumer Price Index, the widely used measure of inflation, measures housing prices via a survey that asks homeowners how much they pay to rent a home.
Actual housing costs do not enter into this figure.
When it comes to cars, the CPI rate relies on a database of 250,000 transactions reported by dealers every month.
And according to Summers, a figure that doesn't include financing costs.
The median monthly mortgage payment rose from just $1,500 in 2021.
It's up $1,100 to $2,600 today, according to the latest numbers.
The average monthly car payment has risen nearly $200 a month in the same time period.
Americans can't afford Joe Biden's economy.
He has wrecked it.
And if CPI today was measured the way we did during the Carter administration, inflation at the end of last year would have been close to 10%.
And by this measure, inflation in the middle of 2022 peaked at an even higher rate under his policies.
Yeah, now we're headed for stagflation.
But of course, Democrats won't talk about it.
All right, we got a lot more to talk about regarding the economy.
I mean, Biden is actually out there now trying to claim that he inherited skyrocketing inflation from Donald Trump.
No, he didn't.
He inherited an inflation rate at 1.4% in January of 21.
It wasn't until months later that it hit 4.2% when his economic policies were going into place.
This guy lies with just the border.
I inherited a bad border.
Prime is out of control because of Trump.
The dog bites the beast things.
Blame Trump.
When news breaks, you get the inside story that no one else has.
And the behind-the-scenes chatter that the mainstream media doesn't even know about.

No, it's not working out the way they have.
And Biden now is stuck because he can't tell the truth that his economic plan is a disaster and it's getting worse every day.
And he's out there saying that we were better situated than we were when we took office when inflation was skyrocketing.
That's not true because inflation that he inherited was 1.4% under Trump's economy.
And this is just a pattern that they just can never, ever own their failures or their mistakes.
They can't run on these policies, which is why slander, smear, besmirchment, never-ending attacks and lies and the weaponization of justice is basically the only way they can go after Donald Trump.
That's all they've got.
Never mind the fact that they have to hide the candidate himself because he's a complete and utter disaster that doesn't even know what day of the week it is for crying out loud.
Even the media saying, yeah, this is now the economy and inflation is a big problem for Biden.
But what's Biden doing about it?
Now, well, now he's just blaming Trump, making the claim that inflation was skyrocketing when he came into office.
It's just a lie.
You know, even Lawrence Summers, this is a takedown of unbelievable, it's an unbelievable magnitude takedown.
I mean, it's sort of like David Axarot saying, stop talking about the economy.
I can't take it anymore.
Because he understands that life for real life Americans, all of you out there, what you're living every day is real.
And most people know that it's Bidenomics that did it.
Americans are getting crushed.
Just look at their cars.
Auto insurance is up 22% in just the last year.
It's up like 46% since he's become president.
Why?
What is he doing to solve and resolve that problem?
Repair costs are up 11.6% in just the last year alone.
Gas is up 22 cents a gallon in only the last month.
Now a barrel of oil is approaching $100 a barrel yet again.
And there's no strategic petroleum reserves because he rated that to help him in the 2022 election.
The mob and the media, you know, it's just pretty unbelievable.
They'll just try and spin it any way they can.
They can't even spin it anymore for this guy.
But he's, well, let's blame Trump.
Lawrence Summers just goes into great detail the impact that this economy is having on all of you every single day.
Monthly mortgage payments rose from $1,500 in 2021 to $2,600 today.
The average monthly new car payment is up by nearly $200 a month since Biden's been president.
I mean, if we measured inflation the way we did during the Carter years, we'd be at 9%.
I mean, it's really unbelievable.
And just to drive on the point, Summers and company conclude with pretty stark figures, pointing out that a portion of Americans saying it's a bad time to buy a car because of interest rates, that's at a record high of 34%.
The number of Americans saying it's a bad time to buy a house, that's at 68%.
That's the highest in over 40 years.
You might remember, last couple of years, I've been warning you what was going to happen.
New housing starts would come to a screeching halt.
Sale of pre-existing homes would stop.
It has it in some states, in some situations, et cetera.
But for the most part, what I was telling you was going to happen has happened.
And then I said, you know, who's going to give up a 3%, 30-year fixed-rate mortgage and sell their home?
Maybe it's worth more, but whatever home they're going to buy is also going to be more expensive.
You know, the price of money and the long-term impact of all of this is going to be devastating.
Lawrence Summers warning that this reckless government spending spree that Biden is on is going to lead to more inflation.
Warning again this week that things have not improved.
Inflation is running much higher than what the official government numbers are stating.
He's warning that, you know, Biden's economy took a gut punch yesterday.
And by the way, it's the highest year-over-year increase since last September.
And by the way, the month before was almost equal to that at 3.2% year-over-year.
This month, 3.5% year-over-year or the month of March.
If you look at the Bureau of Labor statistics, car insurance, groceries, electricity, gas, pet owners, if you own a pet, baby food is up now over 30% since 2021.
Pet food is up 24% since that time.
The higher than expected inflation numbers, one day after Janet Yellen is claiming that overall household finances are quite strong.
Meanwhile, 60% of the freaking country is living paycheck to paycheck, and many of those people are buying bare necessities on their credit cards.
Yeah, if you want to buy beef, yeah, that's up a whopping 26%.
Milk, well, that's up 12%.
If you want to buy eggs, that's up a whopping 103%.
Basically, I'm describing my whole diet short of the milk part.
Coffee, that's up a whopping 30%.
Potato chips, yeah, that's up 31%.
I mean, it's insane.
I'm not saying you should be eating a lot of potato chips, but occasionally I like it.
I like the lazy onion dip that you get with it, too.
And occasionally, I'll have some tortilla chips with mild salsa.
But every time I go to the store or if I use Instacart, you know, I'm like, man, and I'm not complaining because I know I can afford it, but it's not that long ago.
It is like burned into my memory.
I can't explain it.
If you've ever struggled financially in your life, and I mean, really struggle to make ends meet, and you struggle to pay your rent, and you struggle to pay your car insurance, and you struggle to pay back your student loan, all of which happened to me in the early part of my adult life.
I was always independent.
I made it, but I remember, you know, sweating it out month to month.
It sucked.
I couldn't afford to go to McDonald's at the time.
People are saying, yeah, right, Hannity.
Well, because, yeah, part of it was my choice.
If I asked my parents for money that they really didn't have, they would have given it to me.
But hell would have frozen over before I did that.
I would never do that.
It's just a different time.
Look at all the kids now living longer with their moms and dads.
And I'm not against that, but they have to.
Not because many of them want to.
I mean, that's the dangerous part of this.
You know, they're using their fuzzy math and they're just flat out lying.
By the way, just in the last year, your car repair costs up 22%.
This is insane.
It doesn't have to be this way.
They don't have to be stealing from one group of people and giving money to another group of people.
Unreal.
Anyway, that's the state of the economy.
I was reading about the president of In-N-Out Burger, apparently a billionaire.
And you know what?
Good for them.
Because their product is unbelievable.
You know, I want everybody to be successful.
Anyway, she took over the family burger chain at just 27.
In 2010, she's guided her company through inflation, increases in minimum wage.
And anyway, you know, she said she went toe-to-toe to keep prices down in California.
And, you know, she's now 41.
She started this at a young age and said the company wasn't interested in following their competition's decisions to increase the prices for a quick buck when everyone else was taking these jumps.
We weren't.
I mean, good for her.
And it's the best quality.
It's fresh as hell.
The place is clean and good for them.
I know the people of Krownberger in Utah do the same thing.
They're amazing people.
My friends in Tampa, they own chicken salad chick.
I mean, the amount of effort they put into making the greatest product with the best quality chicken, the tenderloin of chicken and the different flavors of chicken salad.
I couldn't believe it.
When I first heard that they're opening this business, I said, wow.
And then I tasted the food and I'm like, I probably ordered this every day.
Biden's blaming the border crisis on Donald Trump?
Seriously?
I mean, you know, he's talking about maybe finally taking executive action.
Well, all he'd have to do is bring back the Trump policies that were working.
That's all he would really need to do.
By the way, I give Iowa a tip of the hat today is as state and local cops there are now arresting illegal immigrants.
Thank goodness for that.
Uncompensated illegal immigrant health care costs.
I mean, it is costing us hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars.
Never mind the national security risk that Joe Biden has created.
You know, the cases of measles at the Chicago illegal immigrant shelter?
Oh, the media said, oh, just a few.
Well, now they're up to 57.
What have I said?
We need to have background checks on anybody entering this country.
We need a health check in a post-COVID world.
We need to know they're not going to be a financial burden on the American people.
Not difficult things to do.
A Biden illegal has been arrested for murdering and dismembering a California man.
California police said the illegal immigrant teenager from El Salvador is arrested in connection with the murder and mutilation of a man found in an orchid, I guess, an orchard, I guess, in January.
Unbelievable.
Deputies investigated.
They found the dismembered body of a 25-year-old in the trunk of a car.
Guess who has blood on their hands?
Every Democrat that has gone along with Biden and allowed him and facilitated his law breaking and aiding and abetting in the law breaking.
Unreal times we are living in.

They're having a battle over renewing the FISA warrants.
You know what's amazing?
Those four FISA warrants against Donald Trump using Hillary Clinton's dirty, bought and paid for Russian disinformation dossier.
The amazing part about that is every person that signed on to those FISA applications, again, the bulk of information, the dirty dossier.
Bruce Orr warned everybody, don't trust it.
It's a political document in August of 2016.
They did it anyway.
They spied on candidate Trump.
They spied on transition team Trump and President Trump.
Unbelievable.
Anyone get held accountable?
Hell no.
Why?
Because we have unequal justice under the law.
We don't have equal justice under the law.
We don't even have equal application of our laws.
You know, the last, what, now this will be the last three presidential elections.
You've had three people running.
Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Donald Trump.
All three have had issues involving top secret classified information.
The only one that was president at the time that they had such information and presidents have the ability to declassify things is Donald Trump.
He's also the only one that got raided and the only one that got charged.
By the way, there was an interesting poll at a Minnesota.
Look at this.
Biden and Trump are deadlocked in this new survey USA survey.
Biden leading Trump 44-42, a two-point race.
Wow.
I don't know what's going to happen in 207 days.
I really don't.
I have no idea.
But I hope to God that this country wakes up and makes a major course correction because we need it and we need it desperately.
And the policies we had were working.
The policies of today are a disaster.
There's not a single thing Joe Biden has done as your president that I could say is a success.
And on top of all of that, you can add to this maybe the most unconscionable thing that this president has ever done.
He's given in to the radicals of his party that came out in force to vote against him in places like Michigan and Wisconsin.
18.9% of Democrats in a Democratic primary in Michigan didn't want Joe Biden, over 100,000.
So what's Joe Biden's answer after the worst terrorist attack in Israel's history is to put a knife in Israel's back and twist it and turn it.
And as a result of his blind political ambition, help Hamas, the terrorist organization, which in turn is funded by the number one state sponsor of terror, Iran.
A new House bill, by the way, would force Biden to stop funding Iran and stop giving them sanction waivers and enforce the sanctions and forbid them and stop them from selling oil on the world market because all that's doing is funding their proxy terror attacks.
Now the Biden administration is worried that Iran's threats to Israel may put U.S. troops in the crosshairs.
Meanwhile, Israel took out three of the sons of the top Hamas leader.
Oh, well, if they didn't start this war, nobody would be dead in Gaza.
Nobody.
They started it.
What do you expect Israel to do?
They're now fighting for their very survival, and they're fighting a two-front war because they've got to deal with Hezbollah in the north.
