Time Text
This is an iHeart podcast.
Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
All right, news roundup and information overload hours, Sean Hannity show this Friday, 800, 941.
Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, in a minute, we will be joined by Andy Harris.
He is with the House Appropriations Committee and Freedom Caucus member, also a Navy vet physician.
And now we have Joe Biden making an appearance.
I think he's now finally being embarrassed to show up at sites after waiting a year to go to East Palestine.
After, of course, he butchered Lake and Riley's name, but he apologizes and regrets using the term illegal immigrant for the person accused of killing Lakin, not Lincoln, Lake and Riley.
But Corrine Jean-Pierre announced his visit where the Francis Scott Key Bridge literally collapsed.
And in spite of financial liabilities that certainly the shipping company would have and others would have, he's now pledging taxpayer money.
Joe Biden was there today.
My understanding is Andy Harris was with him.
Sir, welcome to the program.
How are you?
Thank you.
Good to be with you, Sean.
Let's talk about what your thoughts are, how this happened.
How can we prevent it from ever happening again?
And what mistakes were made here?
And should it be the taxpayers that rebuild this bridge or is there liability on the shipping company and maybe others?
Well, it's going to take a little while to get to the bottom of exactly what happened, but it certainly looks like the ship was not ready to sail.
Its electric generators weren't up to par with what they should have been.
And it looks like it had an electrical failure heading out, which, of course, is necessary to have electricity in order to steer the ship and all the communications equipment, everything.
So the bottom line is that I think in the end, the shipping companies, these are large multinational companies, the one that chartered the ship, the one that owns the ship, has many ships, has access to $3.5 billion in an insurance fund, which should be more than enough to pay for it.
So that'll take years in court to sort all that out.
Until then, you know, it's all right.
Does the federal government want to front some of the money to do it?
That's fine, but they should pursue the liability from these large foreign companies that basically drove a ship into the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
What do you think the timeframe is for them to get this bridge back up and running?
And what was your reaction when Joe Biden said that he often traveled that bridge by rail and there's not a railroad, never has been a railroad on that bridge?
There isn't a railroad anywhere near that bridge.
That was just another typical Joe Biden making it up as he goes along.
The fact of the matter is it does carry 3,000 cars a day.
It doesn't carry any rail traffic at all.
It's not a rail bridge.
The bottom line is that it's going to take years to rebuild.
It could take a decade to rebuild unless we loosen some of the federal regulations regarding the environment, regarding labor policies, things like that.
So it remains to be seen whether they're serious about rebuilding it quickly, because if they are, they would relax some of the federal regulations that make these projects take a decade or more.
Well, if it has to do with the environment, I guess the federal government and especially this administration is not going to be particularly helpful in waiving environmental extremism regulations on the books.
That would be my first guess.
Has Joe said anything to the contrary?
No, I think the problem is he's going to have the same problem he faces with his Palestinian problem.
But basically, to kowtow to the left wing of the party, I don't think he's going to be able to give in on environmental regulations.
And clearly, rebuilding this bridge should be rebuilt higher.
It should be rebuilt with higher capacity.
That normally would subject it to years and years of environmental regulation.
We really appreciate your time, Congressman Andy Harris.
Thank you, sir, for being with us.
Thank you.
Thank you.
800-941-Sean, our number.
If you want to be a part of the program, let's get to our busy phones.
New York, where they had their big earthquake today.
Chris is standing by.
Chris, you feel the earthquake today?
I felt the earth move under my feet.
I tell you.
You know, I was on the air on radio once, and it was in Long Island.
And what I felt was like, I can't really describe it, a rolling wave of like everything just, it was like almost like a surf, if you will, and the ground moving in that kind of wave.
Well, for me, I was sitting in like an office chair at home, and it was just bouncing up and down.
It wasn't side to side.
It was up and down.
And I knew right away that it was an earthquake because I'm on the 18th floor and there was no way a truck going by made that happen.
But anyway, that's not what I wanted to talk about.
You still there?
Yeah, I'm listening.
Okay.
The number one issue that could really hurt the Republicans is the abortion issue.
Now, I'm pro-choice, but that doesn't matter.
But just like the Democratic Party is known as the party of the fund the police, the Republicans are known as the no abortion.
Even if it's not true across the board, when people walk into the booth, I think it's going to be a single issue thing.
They're going to negate all the other facts that are going on, and they're just going to vote against no abortion.
And that terrifies me.
Well, I've been saying from my first day on the air in January, I believe the 2nd of January, exactly what the Democratic strategy is going to be.
That's not going to change.
They will demagogue the issue of abortion.
We saw all of this play out in the runoff race for George Santos' seat, and all the ads almost, the vast majority that I saw had to do with abortion.
It didn't matter that the Republican candidate did not support these massive restrictions on abortion, but that's not going to stop the Democrats from lying anyway.
They lie about Republicans being racist and sexist and misogynist and homophobic and xenophobic and Islamophobic and transphobic and they want dirty air and water.
Then they'll demagogue January 6th, but ignore the 574 riots in the summer of 2020.
And then they will talk a lot about democracy in peril, the very party that would be perfectly fine with Democratic elected politicians just, you know, with a stroke of a pen banning a candidate from being on the ballot on an issue, citing an issue that the individual was not even charged on, let alone convicted of.
So that is the cycle we're in.
But I do share your concern because this is going to be demagogued.
They can't run on their policies.
They can't answer the question, are you better off than you were four years ago, without lying?
And I think even on that question, they will be lying.
They're blaming Donald Trump for the rise in crime.
They're blaming Donald Trump for the border disaster.
They're blaming Donald Trump for economic issues we have in the country.
There's nothing that they won't blame Trump for.
And the Buck certainly doesn't stop with Joe Biden in the White House.
He takes responsibility for nothing.
But this is really a problem, and we still have time to work on it and change people's opinions on it.
I think it cost us the governorship in New York the abortion issue, even though it has nothing to do with anything.
I think people just voted for what for pro-abortion.
Look, what a lot of people don't know, I mean, well over now 50% of abortions are done by a pill.
For that to happen, that has to happen within the first 10 weeks if you stay based on on-label recommendations of the medicine they use to do this.
Abortion is not going to be illegal in America.
States will decide based on what the people in those states desire.
They will make those decisions.
You'll get very liberal laws in California, New York.
I mean, I played it yesterday, this exchange that I had with Gavin Newsom, where, you know, finally he gave an answer when I said, well, what about the seventh, eighth, and ninth month?
He got pretty animated and angry that I kept pressing.
But the reality is his final answer was it should be between a doctor and the patient or the mother giving birth and their conscience, meaning there should be no laws at all, no restrictions at all, even on late-term abortion, which does happen.
Well, I think it's a winning issue for them.
I mean, really, people don't understand how screwed I think that we are on this one issue.
I think we're in big trouble.
I really do.
And I think Republicans have got to understand where the country is.
Now, where do I think the country is?
I think most people, and I don't like quoting Bill Clinton, but I mean, it shows how radical the Democratic Party has become.
But Bill Clinton said it should be legal and it should be rare.
And you might want to add the word early in the pregnancy.
And that would mean first trimester or Dobbs 15 weeks, which was the Mississippi case.
And I think that's where the American people are.
And I think that any Republican that is going to get hit with abortion ads, they better be very quick in their response time.
And they better set the record straight.
And they better make it a big part of their messaging because otherwise you're going to let your opponent define you, lie about you.
And every lie, every attack has to go, it can't go unanswered.
You got to answer it and tell people where you really stand and make sure every voter knows if you're being lied about.
But I think for the Republicans, if they want to get, if they go hardcore, well, we saw what happened with Doug Mastriano in 22.
He was running for governor in Pennsylvania.
He had no exceptions for rape, incest, or the mother's life.
And he lost by the largest margin to a non-incumbent Democratic gubernatorial candidate since the 1940s.
All right.
Well, anyway, have a great weekend.
Thank you, sir.
All right.
Appreciate the call.
Quick break, right back.
More of your calls coming up.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program as we continue this Friday.
All right, let's get back to our busy phones.
Steve, Free State of Florida, next, Sean Hannity Show.
Hi.
Hey, man.
Thanks for taking my call.
How are you today, sir?
I'm good.
Happy Friday.
Hey, thanks a lot.
Hey, listen, just I'll be real quick into the point here.
Who's really the president, Sean?
I mean, it's not Joe Biden.
Come on, this guy doesn't know where he is from one minute to the next.
Who's really running the country?
Okay.
It's a great question that I can't give an answer to.
Now, I've heard all the theories.
I've heard the one thing that I do know is I'm pretty certain that Joe Biden, you get a little glimpse of how controlled he is.
For example, if he's going to allow two or three questions, which would be a max with the media, and he rarely does it, he knows who he's going to call on ahead of time, calls him out by name, and probably knows ahead of time what the topic is going to be, and probably has in front of him talking point answers to give whoever's asking the question.
So I would say that it is probably a consensus of his entire staff.
And I think they're all enablers.
And frankly, I don't see one person in this guy's life that has enough love for this guy to say enough is enough.
This is going to kill you.
I mean, there was that poll that came out the other day.
The overwhelming percentage of Americans don't think he's going to be alive by the end of his second term.
He doesn't look well.
He's obviously suffering a significant cognitive decline.
And he's not really strong enough for the job.
And I think most Americans are seeing that.
At the end of the day, will they vote for him anyway?
You know, we'll know in 213 days, won't we?
Yeah, we will.
I just don't think being a president is a tough job, and I just don't think he's got any of the resources or stamina to do anything associated with that job.
So I obviously think it's the deep state or what you just said, too.
But it's not him.
He's not running anything directly by any means.
I don't feel that to be the case.
Yeah, I don't either.
Anyway, Steve, have a great weekend.
Happy Friday.
Let us go to Steven New Joyse.
Steve, you feel the earthquake today?
Yeah, well, thanks for taking my call from the Soviet state of New Jersey here.
I wanted to tell you that I have three Henry rifles, and they are really fine pieces.
I'm so pleased that they're your sponsor.
But they're great.
They are fantastic.
I've got the big boys and the larger caliber.
But the thing that I wanted to talk about was this EV thing with these electronic vehicles, electric vehicles.
I didn't understand what hybrids were, and I looked into them, and I bought one.
I bought one from my wife.
And it seems to me that they are the solution to the problem.
I actually owned a hybrid at one point.
I had a hybrid escalate.
It was okay.
Did I love it?
No.
I prefer the full-on gas version of the Escalade.
But you do save a little bit of money.
When you get to a light, for example, the hybrid kind of shuts down the engine, and you definitely save on gas.
I never had a problem with it.
I just like the gas-powered one better.
That's my own personal preference.
And that's where I am on electric vehicles.
I think people should have the choice, the freedom to choose which car they want to drive.
And if people want to buy a Tesla or an electric vehicle, let it be their choice.
Let's not have a government push-down mandate on everybody.
Anyway, you ask a great question.
Appreciate the call, my friend.
Thank you.
800-941.
Sean, 25 now to the top of the hour on this Friday.
800-941.
Sean, considering every exit poll, almost, I think almost every one of them, has shown that immigration is the top issue on the minds of the American people.
Let's go back to the president.
He went to Green Bay, Wisconsin this week, and the main focus of his speech was about immigration.
Now, Joe Biden inherited the most secure borders in history.
We know that he brags about eliminating all of the Trump policies.
Mayorca says, oh, yeah, we eliminated all of them.
The list is too long to give you.
And then, of course, they all spent three years lying to us, telling us, you know, not to believe what our eyes were showing us.
And that was a complete, utter breakdown of law and order at our border and utter chaos and Joe's open borders.
And they said the border is closed and the border is secure.
None of which was true.
But here's Donald Trump, an extended version, because I think if this is that top of mind for Americans this election, they need to hear what Donald Trump will do as it relates to the open borders that Joe Biden has created.
We're here this afternoon in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 1,283 miles from the southern border.
You've been hearing a lot about the southern border over the last couple of years.
We put up a chart which is border related.
And you see the lowest point in history.
It was just before I left.
Just as I was leaving, that was the lowest point.
You see the arrows pointing.
And I think that chart spells out better than anything I can say today.
In fact, I don't have to say anything.
I can just leave.
Just take a look at that.
That is the best.
And then it looks like a rocket ship went off.
When you look at the other numbers, it's a shame.
It's a sad shame.
Under crooked Joe Biden, every state is now a border state.
Every town is now a border town because Joe Biden has brought the carnage and chaos and killing from all over the world and dumped it straight into our backyards.
People are coming in from prisons and mental institutions.
Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
Under the Trump administration, we had a tough policy of getting the bad people out.
We wanted to get them out.
We took them out by the thousands.
And we took, as an example, the MS-13 gangs out.
The countries didn't want to let them back in.
And I said, well, then we're not giving you any money.
We give them so much money, this case, $793 million.
I said, that's okay.
We're not going to give you any money.
And they said, we'd be glad to have MS-13 coming back into our country.
It'd be an honor.
And they took them back, but they wouldn't take them back under Obama.
Under the Obama administration, with Biden, they wouldn't take them back.
And I was told that they won't take them back.
And I said, really?
What do we give them?
And it was close to $800 million.
I said, tell them we're not giving it to them anymore.
And they immediately said, let's take them back.
That negotiation sheriffs lasted about three minutes, and we succeeded.
That was an easy one.
Now under Biden, the bad ones are coming in at a level that nobody ever thought was even possible.
Nobody thought this was possible.
In Venezuela, the crime is down 67% from what it was a year and a half ago because they're taking all of their gangs and all of their criminals and they're depositing them into the United States of America.
Venezuela, think of it, their crime.
Wouldn't we love to have a statistic where crime is down?
67%.
Ours is only going in one direction and it's going to be very bad now because we have a new form of crime.
It's called migrant crime.
They're having fistfights with our police officers right in the middle of streets.
They're sending prisoners, murderers, drug dealers, mental patients and terrorists, the worst they have in every country, all over the world.
This isn't just in South America.
They're coming from the Congo, from Yemen, from Somalia, from Syria.
They come from all over the world, China.
Many of them are military age, which is a very strange.
You don't see very many women coming in.
And you see a lot of them coming in, about 19 to 25, 26 years old, and especially from China.
We have 29,000 over the last few months, 29,000 from China.
And they all seem to be perfectly fit for military service, ready for military service.
It's crazy.
This is country changing.
It's country threatening and it's country wrecking.
They have wrecked our country.
But I stand before you today to declare the Joe Biden's border bloodbath, and that's what it is.
It's a bloodbath.
They tried to use that term incorrectly on me two weeks ago.
You know, it's all about misinformation.
But it's a border bloodbath, and it's destroying our country.
It's a very bad thing happening.
It's going to end on the day that I take office, which will be January 20th.
It'll end.
11 days ago, right here in Kent County, a 25-year-old Michigan woman named Ruby Garcia, who's become a very well-known name, beautiful young woman, was savagely murdered by an illegal alien criminal under the Trump administration.
This monster had been deported, thrown out of the country, wasn't going to be able to come back because you just have to look at the charts.
It was very, very hard to get in.
But he came back and we threw him out of the country and crooked Joe Biden took him back and let him back in and let him stay in.
And he viciously killed Ruby.
The illegal alien charged with Ruby's really heinous killing.
And this is somebody that had many, many arrests, including for some very bad crimes that he committed.
And he was set loose to roam our streets, and in this case, set loose to Rome in Michigan by politicians that are left and weak and stupid.
On March 22nd, he shot 17-year-old Ruby.
Actually, she was a beautiful, beautiful young woman.
Ruby Garcia was shot multiple times with an illegally obtained handgun.
Her body was dumped on the side of a highway, left to die, actually.
Had a little life left, left to die.
And Ruby passed away, and it's been a big story because it's so horrible.
Some of these horrible stories, there's so many of them.
You could go on for days, but some of them just resonate so much more for whatever reason.
They're all so horrible.
And there's so many of them.
Now Ruby's loved ones and community are left grieving for this incredible young woman, remembering what they called her.
They said she had just this most contagious laughter.
And when she walked into a room, she lit up that room.
And I've heard that from so many people.
Two months ago, another illegal alien criminal was sentenced in Kent County by executing a 22-year-old Grand Rapids woman while she was in the car with her one-year-old baby, shooting her at least five times all over with a rifle at point-blank range while the killer was wanted for outstanding attempted versions of various forms of strangulation.
They were looking for this particular killer all over the country.
He was allowed to come into our country by a very weak border policy.
And just a few weeks ago, I met with the grieving family of Lake and Riley.
You know, Lakin, she was incredible, top of her class.
Everything was the top.
She was the top of everything.
She was incredible.
I met the parents, incredible people.
The 22-year-old nursing student in Georgia, who was barbarically murdered by an illegal alien animal.
The Democrats say, please don't call them animals.
They're humans.
I said, no, they're not humans.
They're not humans.
They're animals.
Nancy Pelosi told me that.
She said, please don't use the word animal, sir, when you're talking about these people.
I said, I'll use the word animal because that's what they are.
I'll never forget my vow to her.
Wonderful mother, father, and sister two weeks ago.
And I said, I will deliver justice for Lake and I said that.
And now today I'm adding something.
It's going to be for Lakin, and it's also justice for Ruby.
We're going to deliver justice for Ruby.
We're going to watch what happens with this thug.
We're going to watch what happens.
And we have all the law enforcement behind.
They're going to be watching what happens to this thug.
He's not going to get away with it.
So many people get away with it.
They say, oh, let him go.
Let him go.
I'm the only one that has to put up a bond.
You know, I put up a bond.
I didn't do anything wrong.
I had to put up a bond this morning for $175 million.
I did nothing wrong.
They can shoot somebody, kill somebody, and walk out of jail an hour later.
How about that?
Do you think that's a fair policy?
That's called radical left.
But not one more innocent life should be lost to Biden migrant crime.
The first step to restoring safety in America is to fire crooked Joe Biden, get him out November 5th, and we're going to get him out.
We're going to have more people voting, I think, than anybody can even imagine.
But we had Remain in Mexico.
Think of this.
We had the 28,000 soldiers.
And when I said I want them now, we had them the following week.
That's why our numbers are so good.
But we have remain in Mexico, Safe Third Country Agreements, Asylum Bans, Title 42.
When people were sick, we don't want them coming into our country with contagious diseases, and they have it.
And all of a sudden, you see these contagious diseases spreading, and everyone's saying, I wonder where they came from.
I can tell you where they came from.
And we had what's called the rapid removal policy, very rapid removal.
Like, how about the following day and even that evening?
And all of that's been ended by crooked Joe Biden.
It's just so sad.
And that's why you see the numbers on the chart where they look like the rocket ship.
Joe Biden and his party came in and they blew it all up.
Everything was all the things we did in so many other ways too, with trade, so many things.
We took in hundreds of billions of dollars from China and they're soft on China.
They're soft on everybody, everybody but me.
They're very tough on me.
They are soft on everybody, but they're tough on me.
But that's okay.
It's going to all work out very nicely because the people of this country understand it.
You can't interfere with elections like they do.
And it's the only thing he's got going if you think about it.
The border policies are horrible.
All of his policies are horrible.
You look at inflation, inflation's through the roof.
No matter what money people are making, the inflation is better unless you quadrupled your salary.
The inflation is just destroying people in this country where bacon is up three and four times, where the food prices are so bad, the energy prices.
And by the way, energy is going up again in case you haven't noticed.
Fentanyl and opioid deaths in your state are up 32 percent.
And deadly drugs pour across the border at levels that nobody's ever seen before, steering thousands and thousands of this tremendous vats of poison right into Michigan lives.
And once peaceful, suburban Michigan is really now you're under an invasion, and there's no way you can vote for this guy.
I mean, look, I don't want to be too casual about it.
There's no way you can vote for this guy.
All right, that was President Trump in Green Bay talking about the top issue on the minds of voters so far this year, and that being the issue of immigration.
All right, let's go to Robin in South Carolina this Friday.
Robin, happy Friday.
Glad you checked in.
Glad you're with us.
Thanks, Sean.
Thanks for everything that you do for everybody, getting the word out of what's actually real out there.
Thank you.
I'm trying.
You make my job possible, and we've got a lot of work in the next 213 days.
And that's what I wanted to talk about.
The next 213 days.
All of these illegal border crossers.
I'm not even going to call them migrants anymore.
There's 18 states right now that give them driver's license.
Whenever I registered to vote, I had to use my driver's license as ID.
What's stopping them from getting a voter ID?
You know, there was a report this week, and I think Elon Musk on X retweeted somebody that people without IDs were registering.
We did a deep dive and looked into it and called high state officials in the states that were mentioned, and we were told it's not true.
We're still digging.
Whether or not that license is enough for individuals to get on voter rolls, we're looking into that too, because I want to make sure we have this lockdown before I give you information on this program.
And if that means sometimes we're slow, know that we're trying to be slow, correct, and thorough.
But I've been following it very closely, and we're reaching out to secretaries of state, attorneys general, leaders in states where we're told this is happening, and we're trying to get the answers.
Soon on Hannity.com, we're going to have a big election site that you can click on and look into your state specifically, when primaries are, when you have to register by voting locations, et cetera, et cetera.
So, you know, we're going to try and be as informative as we can, but we're getting to the bottom of all of it.
And you do raise a good question.
I mean, if you're in the country illegally, why would you be allowed to get a legal driver's license?
How nuts is that?
Right.
Exactly.
I know Arizona, I believe a few years ago, they actually allowed and probably still do illegals to vote in local elections.
Well, in New York, they passed the bill, but it never got implemented.
It got stopped by a judge.
I'm not sure that has happened yet.
But it doesn't mean if you have a legal driver's license and you register to vote and you get away with that part of it, that that means you will stay home on election day.
I mean, look, this is why we need voter ID, signature verification, chain of custody controls, updated voter rolls, partisan observers in every precinct in the country watching the voting all day and the vote counting all night.
This is why I want paper ballots.
I want more integrity so we have more confidence in results.
I want laws followed.
If partisan observers get to observe, they can't watch from a thousand feet away like they did in 2020.
You can't circumvent state constitutions like they did in Pennsylvania.
There's a lot we can do.
But why Democrats don't even want voter ID, but you needed to buy a six pack of beer is only they can explain it.
I would argue the only reason they want it is they think that would favor them electorally.
Anyway, Robin, you have a great weekend.
Appreciate the call.
That's going to wrap things up for today.
