All right, News Roundup and Information Overload.
Our toll-free number is 800-941-SHAWN if you want to be a part of the program.
Now, we went over all of the Trump-era policies that were rescinded in the first 100 days by Joe Biden, all of which could be brought back with the stroke of a pen.
But the White House, after denying for three years and lying to us for three years and saying the border is safe, the border is secure, the border is closed, on and on and on.
Oh, all of a sudden they recognize there's a problem.
So they're now trying to blame Republicans for this.
Now, the House, they passed H.R. 1, which is a real border security bill.
Now, Joe Biden is demanding and insisting that the only way he'll do a border deal is if billions more go to Ukraine.
He's even tying Israeli support into this as well, rather than bifurcate these bills and let them stand on their own merit, which Congress rarely does.
And in the Senate, I've talked to a number of senators, and what they've been hearing and what they're telling me they're hearing, and Ted Cruz said it out loud this weekend, is that, well, they're just going to limit the people that we allow into the country to 5,000 a day, which is more manageable.
No, that would not be manageable.
We should be enforcing the laws of the land.
Now, Oklahoma Senator James Lankford denies this, and he said the border deal focuses on zero crossings a day and no amnesty.
Okay, if that's true, why doesn't he just support the House bill H.R. 1 and make that part of whatever deal you're making with the White House?
Listen.
Yeah, the challenge that Senator Cruz has and a bunch of other folks is they're still waiting to be able to read the bill on this.
And this has been our great challenge of being able to fight through the final words to be able to get the bill text out so people can hear it.
Right now, there's internet rumors, is all that people are running on.
It would be absolutely absurd for me to agree to 5,000 people a day.
This bill focuses on getting us to zero illegal crossings a day.
There's no amnesty.
It increases the number of border patrol agents.
It increases asylum officers.
It increases detention beds so we can quickly detain and then deport individuals.
It ends catch and release.
It focuses on additional deportation flights out.
It changes our asylum process so that people get a fast asylum screening at a higher standard and then get returned back to their home country.
This is not about letting 5,000 people in a day.
This is the most misunderstood section of this proposal.
And then he went on to accuse his fellow Republicans of tanking a border deal because it's a presidential election year.
And that's not at all accurate.
And by the way, no, the language, he's right, is not out there.
And that's the problem.
And because the devil's always in the details, you always would get amnesty.
You'd never get the border security.
You'd always get the tax increase, but you'd never get the spending cuts that always have promised that they'll come later.
They never come later.
Anyway, this Texas showdown is very real.
I've got to say one thing.
I've got to give a real big shout out to all the Biden Border Patrol officials that are down there.
No, they are now saying the Biden Border Patrol that there are no plans to dismantle the razor wire that were installed legally by the governor of Texas.
There's nothing in the Supreme Court decision that forces Texas to take it down or prevents them from putting up new wire.
The only person that created this false deadline was Joe Biden because he wanted to send his guys in to cut the razor wire and get rid of it.
That's what the whole lawsuit was about anyway.
But now that he sees such strong pushback, He laid out a scenario where we could literally have, you know, two different law enforcement groups, you know, at each other's throats.
That's not a good position for them to be in.
They don't want to be in that position, which is why I think that Biden's Border Patrol has been so outspoken saying, no, we're not cutting down any razor wire.
There's not going to be any confrontation here.
It's not going to happen.
And then they praise the Texas National Guard for their work.
And then on the other hand, you've got Joe Biden being pressured by Democrats to federalize the Texas National Guard.
Meanwhile, other state Republicans are offering to send guard troops themselves in solidarity in support of Texas.
Why?
Because now every state's become a border state thanks to Biden not abiding by the laws of the land.
That, too, we went over earlier.
Brandon Judd is the president of the National Border Patrol Council, 20-year active Border Patrol vet.
I don't see Border Patrol agents wanting or being willing to engage in any type of confrontation with the Texas National Guard.
I hope I'm right.
I guess things can go sideways sometimes, but I think I have a pretty good read on these guys, and they're more frustrated than anybody else that they're not allowed to do their job.
Those are the people that I've met.
Yeah, we are by far the most frustrated people.
And I laid this out in a very succinct tweet.
First person explained exactly what's going on as far as that Supreme Court decision.
And we're not happy with the Supreme Court decision, but it's, you know, once they decide the law, we have to abide by the law.
But they never said that we had the right to take down the razor wire, or that I'm sorry, that we had to take down the razor wire.
All the Supreme Court said was: if an emergency situation arises, you can, in fact, cut the razor wire to safely take into custody these individuals.
But not one of us want to cut that razor wire.
There isn't any agent out there that wants to cut the razor wire, and that's why there's not going to be any confrontation.
We understand that they have a job to do.
They understand that we have a job to do.
We work hand in hand.
We try to be the other's eyes and ears when they're not there or we're not there.
So we do everything that we can to support each other to secure the border.
The problem is, is we don't have an administration that wants to secure the border.
They constantly want to pass the buck.
The only reason that Biden wants legislation is so that he can throw his hands in the air to his open border base and say, hey, it wasn't me, it wasn't me.
He knows that he has the executive authority right now.
But if he were to do that, he's going to alienate that base.
And so he can't, he's looking for a scapegoat.
He's looking for an out, and that's why he wants legislation rather than him using his executive authority.
Well, he's the one, I can tell you 17 things.
Miranda Devine, I think, has identified over 90.
I don't have time to go over 90.
But the things that Joe did on day one, he signed an executive order revoking the Trump administration's effort to exclude undocumented immigration from the U.S. Census.
He signed an executive order to strengthen legal protection for DACA.
He revoked the Trump executive order that massively expanded immigration officials' interior enforcement work and broadened the categories of who they should try and detain and deport, which ends up being pretty much nobody.
He attempted to pause deportations for 100 days.
He stopped construction of the border wall.
He ended the Stay in Mexico policy.
He terminated asylum cooperative agreements with Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, ended the prompt asylum case review for non-Mexicans and humanitarian asylum review program for Mexicans.
Again, the Made in Mexico, Remain in Mexico policy was probably the worst, but he also let Title 42 expire.
That was in May of last year.
And that severely limited access to asylum.
And then if you look at the law, not to lecture you on the law, Brendan, because you understand it for those people listening, subsection 8, Title VIII, U.S.C., Section 1324, it says it's prohibited from smuggling,
domestic transportation of unauthorized aliens, concealing or harboring unauthorized aliens, encouraging or inducing unauthorized aliens to enter the U.S., engaging in a conspiracy or aiding and abetting any of the preceding acts.
If you attempt to bring unauthorized aliens into the U.S., that too has a section against the law.
They have a section against alien smuggling, domestic transportation, harboring of illegal immigrants.
These are all laws that Joe Biden has broken.
He's guilty of it.
And Article 4 of our Constitution gives Texas the right, every state government, the federal government shall protect the states against invasion.
And Governor Abbott has a constitutional point under Article 1, Section 10, states have a sovereign right to protect their own borders as affirmed by Arizona versus the U.S.
So on legal grounds, Texas is right.
Biden is wrong.
Biden caused all these problems without any act of Congress.
He can reinstate all the policies he rescinded.
It's that simple, Brandon.
And everything that you said is why we support Governor Abbott.
Everything that you said clearly shows that he should be impeached on this issue alone.
I mean, the Hunter Biden issue, obviously, has to be looked at, has to be scrutinized, has to go over everything.
But on this issue alone, he should be impeached.
Maorcus should be impeached on this issue alone.
Who cares when they say it's just political theater?
What they did with Donald Trump was political theater.
What we're looking at right now is we're looking at actual laws.
We can point to these laws.
There are three main laws that we're supposed to charge people with.
1324, you just went over that.
13,8 USC 1325 and 8 USC 1326.
Those are the three sections of law that we're supposed to be charging people with.
We're arresting 6,000 people every single day, and we're only charging maybe 10 with one of these laws.
That's all we're doing.
We're not charging anybody with violating our laws.
We're not holding anybody accountable.
And that's the magnet that draws so many people to cross our borders illegally.
That's what allows the cartels to go throughout the world and advertise their services.
That's why so many people are willing to give these cartels thousands upon thousands of dollars.
We are enriching the cartels.
I said on your TV show a couple months ago that if he weren't the president, if he wasn't immune, I would arrest him tomorrow for being the best friends of the cartels, for allowing the cartels to do what they're doing.
And it's unfathomable that a president of the United States would care more about his political career than all of the destruction that he's doing for the American people.
All right, quick break more with Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council.
Try to continue our other lead story, and that is our wide open borders and the Texas showdown that is ongoing.
Governor Abbott, by the way, will be on Hannity tonight, but we continue with Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council.
By the way, also a 20-year active Border Patrol vet.
When you looked at the letter that was sent to Congress, Mike Johnson, Chuck Schumer, and et cetera, and other leading representatives and senators, and this is by FBI luminaries.
And by the way, the people that oversaw the FBI's intelligence gathering, counterterrorism, criminal and training operations, these are the top guys.
And they're saying that in the modern history of our country, we've never suffered an invasion of the homeland yet.
One is unfolding right now.
And then they describe who we're talking about.
And they were pretty clear.
They said about it's an invasion of middle-aged male foreigners to pose one of the most pernicious ever threats to American security.
Does that not scare the hell out of every American?
And of the 10 million Joe Biden unvetted illegals, how many probably unvetted people with terrorist links came into the country?
We've caught many on the terror watch list.
What are the odds that there are terror cells in the country because of Joe Biden's immigration policies, Brendan?
So the first thing that we have to understand is that it's great that the FBI wrote this, and I appreciate everything they're doing to try to shed a light on it.
But the problem is, is outside of Fox News, outside of yourself, who else is covering that?
Did the mainstream media cover it?
Did the mainstream media let the American people understand and know what's going on on our borders?
You know, we talk about, I'm sorry, the Democrats love to talk about an attack on democracy.
The biggest attack on democracy is when our government does not allow the American people to make an informed decision on what's going on.
When they hide facts, when they hide what's actually going on.
And then when you look at this letter, again, I am so grateful that the intelligent community was willing to come out and write this letter.
But that's what we know of.
We know that we have apprehended more than four times the number under Biden than what we did under Trump of people that were on the known terrorist watch list.
But look at all of the gotaways.
Look at how many people have been able to evade apprehension.
We're talking nearly 2 million people that we don't know who they are.
We don't know where they're coming from, and we don't know what their intentions are.
What we do know is that they didn't want to get caught.
They didn't want to be fingerprinted.
They did not want our government to know that they were here.
That is what is so scary about border security.
And when you have Joe Biden hide these facts from the American people, when he's not willing to allow them to make an informed decision when they're going to the ballot box, that's the attack on democracy.
Well, I don't know any other way out of it except to re-elect Donald Trump and re-implement the policies.
He can scream all he wants.
I'll tell you this, if Republican senators go wobbly on this issue and they try to water down a very strong House bill, I don't think there's going to be a very good reaction for Republican senators.
Yeah, look, HR2, it is the perfect bill.
What I'm looking at right now is I know that there's multiple bites at the apple.
I want something.
They have to give me something.
Give me something that I can do something with.
And if we have to take another bite at the apple later on down the road when Trump is in office, let's take another bite.
But I cannot continue to do what we're doing today for another 11 months.
We're talking about another 3 million people that will be in this country if we don't do something today.
I'm waiting to see what's in that bill, and we'll come out with our comments after that.
But we've got to have something.
Pretty scary.
Brandon Judd, we appreciate all your work.
And all the guys, please tell them they have our support and our thanks for putting themselves in harm's way every day.
It's not an easy job for them right now, and it's become job impossible, frankly, and I'm sure they hate it.
And hopefully we'll have a change of administration soon enough.
Thank you, my friend.
800-941-Seano's on number.
If you want to be a part of the program, I'll hit the phones next.
Continuing to build the foundation for conservative victory.
Victory.
Now, back to the Sean Hannity Show.
Hi, 25 to the top of the hour.
Many of you have been very patient this Monday.
Let's get to our busy phones.
Richie, Long Island, New York.
By the way, you're watching this race.
It's February 13th, and this is for George Santos seat.
An amazing woman, Maisie.
I don't know if you know her and her background.
We're going to have her on the program this week, is running to replace Santos against a guy that says he's 100% for Joe Biden, but is not seeking Joe Biden's endorsement.
That's Tom Swazi.
Anyway, we'll see what happens there.
Richie, Long Island, hope things are okay there since I left.
Yeah, Sean, everything is pretty well, pretty much the same.
Put it that way.
My call concerning the potential confrontation between Texas law enforcement with the razor wire and the Fed taking them down.
It doesn't have to be a confrontation at all.
It's a very simple matter for the Republican majority in the House to simply defund any wire-cutting operations by the Fed.
That's all they've got to do.
And not only that, but...
Oh, they don't have to cut...
There's no direct order for them to cut it.
I mean, that's the irony of this whole thing.
And there's no prohibition against putting up more wire, and there's no obligation to cut down the wire that's there.
I know, but if they're going to, if Biden were to be stupid enough, let's say, nationalized Texas National Guard and the National Guards of the other states that are supporting Texas, they can simply defund the operations of those Nationalized Guard troops so that it doesn't happen.
It couldn't have to be any kind of potential confrontation.
Not only that, but the political benefits in November could go a long way towards increasing the Republican majority in the House as well as a possible coattail effect in the Senate.
It's the border stupid.
That's why, you know, all these, I'm not sure why the Senate is playing any games at all.
All they need to do is to adopt the House bill that's already been passed and just insist if you want any more money for Ukraine, which seems to be the bargaining issue for the Biden administration, you're not getting a penny until you secure the border.
Now, I'd fight even harder.
I would demand that we have budgetary controls as well, like the House has been trying to do, but they don't have a big enough majority to stand together on something that would be smart to stand together on.
Anyway, my friend, good luck to my friend in Long Island.
Not sure, how's the temperature there today, but it's not great.
Just guessing.
Anyway, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, they support America's greatest heroes.
That is U.S. service members, first responders, those that die or are catastrophically injured in the line of duty.
They also help our homeless vets.
Now, these are real heroes we all owe a debt of gratitude to.
The foundation's Gold Star, Fallen First Responders, Smart Home, Homeless Vets programs.
They honor the sacrifices that these men and women made for us, risking their lives and bodies for our country and our communities.
And don't forget their never forget programs, engaging in 9-11 remembrances all across the country.
They've got now over 80 walks and runs and climbs a year, dozens of golf outings, barbecues.
The Tunnel to Towers has their 9-11 Institute educating kids K through 12th grade about America's darkest day.
Look, here's the bottom line: they can't do this without your financial support.
It's that simple.
And they're asking everybody that listens to this show, and we hope you'll join all of us here on Team Hannity and donate $11 a month.
That's all they're asking to continue this great work.
Just go to their website, the letter T, the number two, the letter T.org, the letter T, the number two, the letter T.org for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Sean is in the free state of Florida.
Sean, it's an honor to be living down here with you.
How are you, sir?
Very well, Sean.
Thank you for taking my call.
I just got to say, you've been the voice of reason for me for so many years.
I can't thank you enough.
We cut the cable cord in our house several years ago, but because I work for WWE, I drive to Orlando every week.
And by the time I get to the hotel, your show's started.
So just want to say how much I appreciate you, sir.
Well, I don't like the cord-cutting part, at least for the Fox package.
I think you can actually, aren't there other packages?
Like if you subscribe to YouTube, I think you can get the Fox News channel.
You can watch it that way.
There are a bunch of creative ways people are doing it.
I'm on Fox every day, but I do it online, so I read it.
Gotcha.
And then, of course, I listen to your show in the car.
But by the time I get to the hotel, because we have a live show every week, I get to watch it as well.
Very much.
I'm glad for whatever viewing you have.
You're keeping food on my table.
Thank you.
Well, I appreciate it.
Hey, I wanted to ask you real quick.
Because I guess what I would call all of the global concerns the United States has around the world right now, and please just educate me on this because I really don't understand it.
Now that we know Trump is doing amazing, as we knew he would, what would keep the Biden administration from basically just declaring us in a state of war with Iran since what just happened or another country that they're concerned with?
And that would keep any election from happening like Roosevelt did.
Listen, I just think the world sees Joe Biden for who he is.
He has tried everything but kissing the ass of the mullahs themselves.
I mean, the fact that he's turned a blind eye towards the sanctions that prohibit them from exporting oil has helped make them rich.
That foments terror.
They are the number one state sponsor of terror.
The fact that he was willing to give $6 billion in a scheme to get hostages was insane.
The fact that he allowed a waiver was also insane.
And in that case, he allowed $10 billion from Iraq to go into their coffers.
And now, apparently, it turns out Joe Biden's intelligence is now being shared with the Iranians because apparently we're giving them warnings about potential attacks against them.
They're not our ally.
They're not our friend.
They're behind the 170, nearly 200 attacks against American soldiers.
They are behind all the proxy terrorism all throughout the Middle East.
And there's got to be a price to pay.
And they don't think Joe Biden's capable of delivering that message.
He said, no, don't.
There's my message.
Don't.
They know that they're not allowed to.
Well, they keep doing it.
And they do it through their proxies.
And at some point, there's got to be consequences.
We have three dead Americans and 30 injured.
And frankly, I'm shocked it's not more considering the number of attacks that they've been behind.
Now, it's really simple.
A squared, B squared equals C squared.
You attack the United States.
We are going to attack you back 15 times harder and just level you until you stop.
It's that simple.
You know, that's how you're going to end it.
Otherwise, you know, all their threats, you know, are meaningless.
This is why a nuclear-armed Iran better be something in everybody's mind because it would be a disaster.
This would be a potential holocaust in our lifetime.
I could see it happening.
And again, I pray I'm wrong.
Anyway, appreciate the call, my friend.
Glad you're out there, Sean.
Back to our phones.
Justin, also in the free state of Florida with me.
How are you, Justin?
Glad you called.
Hey, I appreciate you.
How are you doing today?
I'm good.
What's going on?
Oh, not much.
I wanted to see or talk to you about ways that we can try to get Democrat and independent voters to see that Trump is a fantastic candidate because there was no, he didn't take us into any new wars.
And I think one of the main things that Democrats are concerned about is the environment, which Biden and the Obamas, for example, don't care anything about the environment.
They're paid off by BP.
We had, of course, had the oil spill down here about 14, 15 years ago.
And the Obamas had to come down here and try to explain to us that everything was just fine, you know, not to worry about it.
It's basically because they were paid off by BP.
Listen, Biden's canceling, you know, he gives in to the environmental extremists every chance he gets, and we're wasting billions of dollars.
You know, they're forcing car companies to waste, lose billions of dollars where they're building infrastructure that's collapsing.
All these, you know, tens and tens of millions of dollars in grants are just being, you know, basically thrown down the sewer.
And that's taxpayer money, and they're wasting it all.
You know, they're trying to get electric buses that don't work.
They're forcing electric cars down Americans' throat, and Americans are rejecting them in mass, even with 40% discounts.
They don't want them.
They don't feel confident in them, and it's not what they want.
I mean, stop forcing us to do things we don't want to do.
We want our gas stove.
We want our air conditioning.
We want our refrigerator.
Get off our back.
Whatever happened to the concept of freedom for crying out loud.
And on top of that, Trump was president.
We become energy independent the first time in 75 years.
We had the highest improvement levels in terms of CO2 emissions of any country in the world.
Yeah, and he put money towards the state parks and the wetlands here in Florida, so he did more for the environment.
But there is one point I think that's really worth bringing up is basically anytime we talk about solar or wind power, you know, these are supplemental things that can be helpful, you know, that we don't need to throw them away.
But anytime we talk about these things, it's just a smokescreen because there are inventions and technologies out there that have been invented.
For example, a water-powered car that every time that somebody tries to bring one up or get a patent for one, they're either killed or the places like GM, which I know we're sticking up for GM because how they're being forced to make these electric cars,
but these are the same people that have suppressed the information about a water-powered car and these other alternative energies because the oil industry and the car industry don't, they don't want us to have that.
Well, what did Jennifer Granholm do?
She tried to show how easy it was to take an electric vehicle and the charging stations had long waits and she just put a gas-powered vehicle in line so she wouldn't have to wait when her electric vehicle showed up and all that did was piss off everybody that had been waiting behind them.
Anyway, appreciate the call.
Thank you, Justin.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, let us say hi to Dave in Wisconsin.
Dave, hi, how are you?
Glad you called.
Thank you, sir.
How you doing?
I'm good.
What's going on?
I got a question.
This is kind of like a legal question.
I mean, straight up, I mean, I agree we need to shut down the border and all that.
But typically an invasion is referred to as like a forced occurs.
And two-part question of it could.
First off, is it possible Biden could argue if this went to court or whatever that it's not invasion thing is how we're basically allowing these people in?
And if it came down to it, how do we make it?
Well, let me answer that question first.
And I'll just say he can't argue that it's not an invasion because they're letting him in because then he's acknowledging the obvious, which is that he's not been enforcing America's laws that I went through in some detail in the first hour of the program today, and we'll go over tonight on TV.
Okay.
Miss that part because I was working.
I apologize.
Anyway, that's all right.
I understand.
How do we successfully argue that it is invasion if you go to litigation or impeachment?
Well, you had 10 former FBI top executives, the ones that oversaw the FBI's intelligence gathering and counterterrorism head and criminal and training operations head.
And they said an invasion of military-age male foreigners who pose one of the most pernicious ever threats to American security.
I think I'll take their guys' word for it.
We're now Egyptians.
Why are people from Afghanistan showing up there and Russia and China?
Tell me why they're showing up there.
You think they're here because they want better lives for themselves and their family?
I don't think so.
Well, I agree, but how do we, you know, as far as the definition of invasion, how do we, you know, use that to get the results we want?
Oh, I think the only way you're going to get the results you want, honestly, is to win in November.
It's the border stupid.
It's the economy stupid.
It's not Bidenomics.
If you want to call it Bidenomics, then eat all the pain you've inflicted with your policies on the American people.
Anyway, I appreciate the call, Dave.
Thank you.
We've got, let's say, a hi to Mike in North Carolina.
Mike, how are you?
Glad you called.
Hey, Sean, it's a pleasure talking to you.
Pleasure is all mine.
What's on your mind today?
Rolls right into what you were just talking about.
I mean, if you look at, you know, the media is trying to tout Biden's reaction with the Dow, you know, the Dow's up as high as it record highs.
Well, if you take a look at it, index it for inflation.
I look back at Trump's presidency, and if you index for inflation, the Dow was up over 46%.
Now, if you index for inflation, the Dow for Biden's presidency is up 9.93.
There was a study out, I guess, last week or the week before.
The market doesn't impact 92% of Americans.
That's a lot.
It's never been my biggest barometer.
Now, it does offer some signs of consumer competence, of investor confidence, which is a good thing.
Short of that, it's never been my barometer.
You know, when you look at 60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, I don't think they give a damn about what the stock market's doing on any given day, and they're not paying attention to it.
That would be my guess.
But inflation is killing them.
And I agree with you 100%.
But the thing is, it's the way that the media is trying to manipulate data.
It takes me back to back when I was in college.
I remember a book that was entitled Lying with Statistics, and that's all they seem to be doing.
Well, they've been telling us the border is secure forever.
They told us that Joe never once talked to Hunter, his brother, or anybody for that matter about their foreign business deals.
They do a lot of lying.
Good call.
Appreciate it.
Mike of North Carolina, 800-941-Sean, our number.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
Great Hannity tonight, 9 Eastern.
Greg Abbott, his first interview, national interview about what's been going on.
Biden confronting Texas National Guard troops, a call for them to be nationalized, really?
Anyway, we'll check in with Governor Abbott.
Also, Sarah Carter's down at the border.
Steve Miller's been great on it.
What do we do about Iran?
We'll check in with Congressman Michael Waltz.
He has some strong ideas on how that should be handled.
Pete Hagseth.
And Biden threatening to withhold support for Israel.
Really?
Is that how we'd want Israel to treat us if we were a victim of a terror attack?
Anyway, set your DBR, Hannity tonight, 9 Eastern on the Fox News channel.
News you'll never get from the mob.
We'll see you tonight back here tomorrow.
Thank you for making this show possible.
