Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup and information overload hour 800-941-Sean, our number.
If you want to be a part of the program, your calls at the bottom of this half hour straight ahead.
I want to talk a little bit more about China.
I've been talking a lot about China lately.
I've been talking about their ambition to be the world's only superpower.
And they are building a coalition, a new axis of evil, I call it.
And that is an alliance between China, Russia, and Iran.
They've been peeling away some of our top allies, like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt.
We now know that, in fact, that they don't have confidence in America anymore because they know that America pretty much doesn't have a leader right now.
And they are betting that China is going to win this battle to become the world's sole superpower.
And Joe Biden, what is he doing?
He's visiting castles and sitting on a beach in Delaware somewhere.
It's really scary.
It's never been this bad.
There's been no accountability when China takes a spy balloon and flies it all the way over Alaska airspace down the west coast of Canada into Idaho, over Montana, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, and off the coast of the Carolinas.
Interestingly, looking at our military bases, and we now know sending back real-time information to China in the process.
Joe Biden, of course, didn't have a clue.
And then we shot down three other unidentified objects using $400,000 Sidewinder missiles.
And we have no idea what we shot down.
Makes no sense.
They don't want the U.S. dollar to be the world's currency, and they're working against us.
Never mind unfair trade practices.
Never mind intellectual property theft.
Never mind that this government foolishly has been allowing Chinese nationals and varying groups to buy up acres and acres and acres of farmland, ranch land.
Interestingly, a lot of that land is near military installations.
None of that, you think China would let us do that to them?
They would not.
And of course, then we have COVID on top of it.
And we now know that, in fact, according to the Freedom of Information Act request by Judicial Watch, records now show that funding that went from the NIH, and that's Anthony Fauci, to the EcoHealth Alliance went for the type of research that led to COVID-19.
In other words, your tax dollars helped fund some of this research.
And they knew all along that this money was sent.
But Anthony Fauci had denied it again and again and again.
And they're playing word games and parsing words on the issue of, for example, funding gain of function research.
Well, if you look at the report, it says everything but those words.
In other words, they talk about transmission between animals and humans and manipulation of the spike proteins and so on and so forth.
I know it gets technical.
I read it the other day on the air.
I won't bore you with those details again, but it's clear.
Not one penny of tax dollars should ever have gone to China through the NIH, funneled through the EcoHealth Alliance, into the Wuhan Virology Lab.
And the one person that has been called out on this the most is Anthony Fauci because he allowed this grant to occur.
Here's what he told Rand Paul that the NIH has not funded gain of function research at the Wuhan lab.
We have 11 labs doing it and you have allowed it here.
We have a committee to do it, but the committee is granted every exemption.
You're fooling with Mother Nature here.
You're allowing super viruses to be created with a 15% mortality.
It's very dangerous.
I think it was a huge mistake to share this with China.
But again, we have not funded gain of function research on this virus in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, no matter how.
You're supposed to say it.
There was research.
There was research done with Dr. Xi and Dr. Barrick.
They have collaborated on gain of function research, where they enhanced the SARS virus to infect human airway cells, and they did it by merging a new spike protein on it.
That is gain of function.
That was joint research between the Wuhan Institute and Dr. Barrick, you can't deny it.
Anyway, joining us now, good friend of the program, we have Gordon Chang is back with us.
By the way, if you want to contact Gordon Chang, his Twitter handle is at GordonG.
Chang on Twitter, and he likes to respond to people that write him.
Sir, welcome back to the program.
How are you?
Thank you so much, Sean.
And what you're saying is so important.
All right, explain to me, because they don't use the words gain of function.
They don't.
However, when they talk about interspecies transmission of the virus, when they talk about altering spike proteins in a coronavirus, isn't that what gain of function is by definition, or am I wrong?
You're certainly correct, Sean.
What we learned in those documents that Judicial Watch obtained was that EcoHealth Alliance wrote up a grant proposal to actually manipulate coronaviruses to make them more dangerous, to create new variations of them.
And they said that this was so that we could learn how they transmit.
But this is clearly gain of function.
This money went to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which was essentially a Chinese biological weapons program.
And what makes this even worse, Sean, is that in 2014, the Obama administration prohibited federal funding of gain of function research on American soil because it was too dangerous.
So what Fauci did was he outsourced this to the Chinese military.
By the way, dates are important here, Gordon.
Excuse me for interrupting, because in 2012, Fauci said he supports gain of function research, even if it resulted in a worldwide pandemic and this request by the EcoHealth Alliance and what they said they wanted the money for was in 2013 initially, correct?
Yes.
I mean, this was completely indefensible.
And there would not have been a COVID-19 outbreak and worldwide pandemic, I think, were it not for Fauci's funding of the Wuhan Institute of Virology on coronavirus gain of function research.
Fauci says, well, no, it was different types of research that was done.
But what China learned with Fauci's money, they used on SARS-CoV-2, the pathogen that causes COVID-19.
So I think that it is 100% that clearly Fauci funded experiments that led to the creation and the outbreak of COVID-19.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Didn't Fauci publicly buy into the wet market theory over the Wuhan virology lab theory for a while?
Correct.
And it's even worse than that because he worked actively to prevent any discussion of a lab leak.
He used NIH money to get researchers to basically clam up on what their suspicions were.
And their suspicions were that this came from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
They stopped talking about that when they got new funding from the National Institute of Algae and Infectious Diseases, which was Fauci's unit at NIH.
So, I mean, when you put this all together, is it a fair statement to say that the United States taxpayers in part funded the creation of COVID-19?
Yes, and I think that were it not for the U.S. funding, there would not have been a COVID-19 global pandemic.
And that means more than 1,100,000 Americans would not have died from this disease.
Unbelievable.
Now, I've been talking a lot about China trying to emerge as the world's lone superpower.
First of all, do you agree with that statement or no?
Oh, clearly.
Chinese leader Xi Jinping has been pushing the notion that China is the world's only legitimate state.
In other words, he's not competing with us in the international system, as Joe Biden always says.
What they're trying to do is to take down that system so that China is the sole ruler.
And by the way, it's even more aggressive than that.
He's not satisfied with ruling planet Earth because since 2017, Chinese officials have publicly talked about how the moon and Mars should be considered sovereign Chinese territory.
Okay, so now I want to take it a step further.
Now we've seen President Xi meeting with President Putin.
They are our number one and number two geopolitical foes.
They also have aligned with Iran and the mullahs of Iran.
And reports are out there that both China and Russia may help Iran with their nuclear programs development.
Then they were able to peel off some of our allies because when President Trump was in office, we had an alliance that I didn't think I'd see in my lifetime, which was the U.S., Israel, the Saudis, the Jordanians, the Egyptians, and the Emirates.
And I never thought I'd see that alliance.
But now China brokered a deal with Saudi Arabia and Iran.
That is the biggest Sunni-Shia split in the entire universe.
And yet they brokered that deal.
How they got that done, I don't know.
And they're doing the same thing with Saudi Arabia and Syria.
Now, why is this relevant?
Why is this important?
Well, ever since the Saudis have now aligned with China, all of a sudden OPEC, and the Saudis have the biggest say with OPEC nations, they have now decided to reduce production of oil by 1.3 million barrels of oil a day.
Now, that guarantees, because America unilaterally disarmed and we're not producing energy domestically anymore, that now means that the world supply will decrease rather significantly, and that will raise the cost of a barrel of oil,
which means that it will raise the cost of gasoline and any fuel product, heating, cooling homes for Americans, and also the cost of delivery of products, goods, and services to every store that we go to.
And we're going to be looking at $4 or $5 a gallon gasoline again.
Is that a fair analysis?
That's a fair analysis.
I'm in California right now, and I'm seeing $6 a gallon gasoline.
We have never seen such a rapid collapse of America's standing in the world, not even under the Carter years.
And it's because Biden has, for reasons that we can only talk about, that Biden has been helping America's enemies, like Iran, and it has been attacking and assaulting American friends like Saudi Arabia and Brazil and Morocco.
And so therefore, China and Russia are making fast advances around the world because of the Biden administration policies.
We are stabbing ourselves, Sean.
There is no other explanation of how China and Russia can make such quick progress.
Quick break more with Gordon Chang, his Twitter handle at GordonGChang on Twitter.
All right, we continue with Gordon Chang.
By the way, don't forget his Twitter handle is at GordonGChang.
If you go on Twitter, he likes to answer people's questions if you have any.
What is America's solution to this?
I don't see one except for November 2024 and electing a strong American leader that China fears, that Russia fears, that Iran fears, that North Korea fears, one that will put the Saudis in their place, one that will bring America back to energy independence and energy dominance.
I don't see that ever happening with Joe Biden.
I don't even think Joe Biden knows today's Friday.
That's what I think.
You're absolutely right about that.
I'm sure that it's the people in the basement of the White House who are dictating things.
Because although Joe Biden has been misguided on American foreign policy for a long time, I don't think that he would try to engineer a collapse of America's standing.
And really what we have is two things.
I don't think he's orchestrating it.
I'm not saying that.
But I think that he's missing in action.
And I think he's abdicated America's role as the leader of the free world and as America being the most dominant superpower in the world.
And he's not lifting a finger to fix it.
I mean, he's off looking at castles and President Xi is creating new alliances every day.
100% agree with you, Sean.
And clearly, we have to win in November 2024 if the America is going to stay sovereign.
The other thing though, is between now and then the American people led by you are going to have to pressure the Biden administration to not continue with these policies.
We can be successful if Gordon, Gordon, I love you to death.
I think you're a genius.
Gordon, they're not going to listen to me ever.
They don't want to listen to you, Sean.
But I think, though, that the American people, when they're mobilized, will do something.
I'll just give you a quick example.
The Biden administration was never going to tell the American people about that Chinese spy balloon.
The only reason why we know about it is because somebody in Montana looked up into the sky and said, what is that?
So we pressured the Biden administration there.
There have been a number of other examples where that has occurred, but we have got to make it politically unacceptable for the Biden administration to destroy America.
And your voice is absolutely critical in doing that because although I'm sure they don't like you in the White House basement, they certainly respect you and you do command a following among the American people.
I wish I could do more.
I could tell you the day and age, I started in radio making no money, and I started because I just loved it and I cared about the country.
And I'm only staying in it because I care about the country.
I've never felt more afraid for my children and my grandchildren than I do now.
And we've got to fix it.
And it's got to be an all-hands-on-deck moment.
But anyway, Gordon Chang, if you want to get a hold of him, it's at Gordon G. Chang on Twitter.
And you respond to people when they tweet you, whatever.
I do.
I do, because this is the most critical moment in history, certainly the most dangerous.
And so we've got to have, as you say, all hands on deck, all hands on deck.
At Gordon G. Chang on Twitter.
Appreciate it, Gordon, as always.
You like the canary in the coal mine warning everybody.
Uh-oh, trouble's coming.
I hope they listen.
800-941-Sean, our number.
We'll get to your calls coming up straight ahead.
Quick break, right back.
We'll continue.
Holding them accountable.
Sean gets the answers no one else does.
America deserves to know the truth about Congress.
All right, 25 now to the top of the hour.
800-941 Sean is our number.
Joe Manchin, by the way.
Joe Manchin is scheduled to be on Hannity Monday night.
He's livid.
Now, he went along with the Democrats because he got something that was good for the country as it relates to energy.
And it looks like the Democrats, and that means Chuck Schumer and Joe Biden are reneging on their promise to Joe Manchin.
And he's also speaking out loudly that we cannot be spending this much money, that we're bankrupting the country.
We're robbing our kids and we're robbing our grandkids.
And he's also been very critical of the fact that Joe Biden won't even sit down with Kevin McCarthy and hammer out a budget that reduces spending and gets closer to balance than it is now.
I mean, so he's really been speaking out.
Anyway, he questions Jennifer Granholm over the budget-busting electric vehicle rule.
Now, West Virginia is a state that relies heavily on energy.
He's rightly standing up for the people of West Virginia.
That's his job.
He's fighting hard.
And it sounds like he's pissed off.
He had a deal.
They made him specific promises.
And it looks like they're not going to keep those promises.
Listen.
Madam Secretary, I just want to correct.
I just really want to correct this, okay?
Hey?
Forget about the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Just forget about it because this is what we passed.
This is the bill.
And this is what you all broke the law by advising, referring back to the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
Had nothing to do.
This is the IRA we passed.
Inflation Reduction Act tells you exactly what your manufacturing credits will be and what they're going to be based on.
That's all I'm saying.
Follow the law.
Well, we have no incentive, I would say.
No, you don't.
No, no, no.
How did you know?
I'll rewrite the law is what I was saying.
We all referred to that when it was very clear.
This is the law.
This is what manufacturing is.
I think there is a difference of opinion among the lawyers about what the actual definition is.
It depends on who's paying the lawyers.
I'm so sorry.
I get so worried.
I am so upset about this because they're doing everything they can to bust the budget what we promised the American people what that bill would cost.
That's what I'm upset about.
And the games that we've played for many years is that we've had debt financing because we run out of money, but we still continue to do what we said that was the intent of the bill.
That's what has screwed this country up and put $31.4 trillion.
I'm determined to stop that.
This is such a gentle guy.
I've known Manchin for a long time.
If there is a moderate Democrat in Washington, it is him, if there is such a thing.
But this party has gone so hardcore left.
I mean, to think that AOC re-releases the Green New Deal, knowing darn well that the House Republicans will never go along with this.
I mean, the audacity and the stupidity of it all is breathtaking to me.
All right, let's get to our busy phones.
800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, Tammy is in the free state of Florida.
Tammy, how are you?
Glad you called.
Good.
How are you?
I'm good.
What's going on?
It's a really pleasure to talk to you, Mr. Hannity.
I was just flipping through, like I kind of do on my breaks most of the time, flipping through, watching live Senate hearings and the House hearings.
And this thing popped up about this gentleman, I guess, who's always predicted who was going to win the elections every year.
He's never been wrong.
And he was describing something that I found kind of interesting, but he was describing the, you know, who was going to take the Democratic side, who would take the Republican side.
And he was talking about Bernie Sanders getting ready to throw his hand in soon like he does every year.
But he went on to say how he felt Bernie Sanders wasn't a politician.
He was more of a religious leader that had a cult following.
And then he proceeded to say that, you know, but the interesting thing is then you have Donald Trump who on that side also has a cult following.
And I just found it a really interesting analogy because I've never really thought, you know, that's how people would perceive the right as a cult falling for Donald Trump.
But it really made me start thinking about different things.
And I kind of wish that, you know, when Ron DeSantis, of course, I'm a Florida girl.
So the thought, you know, we love Ron DeSantis here, of course.
And I just thought, you know, is it going to be better for Ron DeSantis to run right now?
Could he pull it off?
I'm not getting involved in who should run, who shouldn't run.
Let me help you with this if I can, all right?
Because I agree with you.
Look, let me just lay a foundation for this.
And it's predicated on something that I see every primary season.
At some point, it's going to become a bloody brawl.
It always does.
If you look at Bush and McCain in 2000, it was a bloody mess in South Carolina.
It was rough.
And, you know, we call politics a blood sport.
To me, it's a little early for it.
I think I understand the rationale of Donald Trump.
But here's the reality.
Donald Trump was a great president, especially when you consider and factor in all of the attacks against this man.
And so many of them were wrong.
And he had to deal with that and compartmentalize that the entire time.
That's not easy.
And I think, you know, energy independence, the wall, I think he demanded and commanded respect on the world stage unlike any previous president I've ever seen.
He supported Ron DeSantis.
And I asked him in the last interview what happened because I thought they were always friends.
And he campaigned for Ron DeSantis, endorsed Ron DeSantis, helped him get the endorsement, win the primary, and then win the general election in 2018.
That was a very close race.
And Ron DeSantis, to his credit, got elected and then did a phenomenal job.
And he's doing a phenomenal job now.
And I like both men.
We were really excited with the thought of a Trump DeSantis run together.
But, you know, then DeSantis could just flip in in 2028 and just, but, you know, I've given it really a lot, a lot of thought.
And I thought, you know, President Trump just needs to finish what he started.
That's just how I feel at this point.
He is the best one for this right now.
But if this simple country girl could say anything to Donald Trump, because I watched your interviews with him, I watched many interviews with him.
I would just, you know, I really would like to say, you know, be humble, be humble.
I'd like to see him kind of bring us more together, though, because sometimes I'm sure he has many, many advisors out there who are always telling him, you know, reel it down.
I know, and I know that's not a part of who he is, but sometimes I don't, I get a little skittish when I hear him say.
Listen, a lot.
Your criticism is the number one criticism I hear about Donald Trump.
And I've asked him publicly about this, and I've spoken to him privately about this.
I'm not hiding anything here.
I have sources.
And he feels, and his answer is that if he doesn't fight hard and fight back against those that have been since day one trying to destroy him, that there's no way he can win.
Now, when he's fighting for America and better trade deals, when he's taking on Putin and taking on President Chi and Kim Jong-un, you know, we want a fighter.
We want somebody who says if they're going to build the wall to build the wall.
If they say they're going to make us energy independent, we want them to get that done.
Unfortunately, in a sense, it's a blessing and a curse because when he's fighting on other issues, he can definitely wear people out and rub people the wrong way.
And, you know, this election in 2024, if history is any guide, is going to be won by only a couple of hundred thousand people.
And look, I think things could be so bad by 2024 that a Republican can just win in a landslide.
I believe that.
I don't want to bet or want my country to deteriorate to the level that I think it's capable of deteriorating because we really don't have a president right now.
So it scares me, but that might be like a Winston Churchill moment.
I think what's happening internationally with the economy is going to determine a lot of things.
And we'll know a lot more by the time people go to the Iowa caucuses, New Hampshire primary, South Carolina primary, Super Tuesday primaries.
I think we're going to know a lot more by then.
Okay.
Really scary just one, you know, just thinking that so many people still aren't awake.
And to see what he has done for us already for the four years he was there and not come back and do it again.
It's scary how many people aren't waking up, though.
And they really do.
And they have to.
And I just, I just, that's the only thing that I just wish Donald Trump could touch people on such a different level.
Like, I would, I think it would go so far for him.
But I also know he is who he is, and there's no changing him at this point.
And well, let me ask you, did you?
I'm not trying to be personal.
Do you have a boyfriend?
Are you married?
Or, you know?
Yes, I have a boyfriend.
Okay.
Are there things you really love about him?
Yes.
Okay.
Are there some things you wish you could change about him?
Yes.
There you go.
It's about that complicated.
It's the same thing.
Well, except, you know, this is the president, and we have to have him in there.
Our country needs him.
He needs to finish what he started.
And to think that just because he rubs people the wrong way that we can't get what we need is a scary, scary thought.
I don't think anyone's been more articulate on what people say to me as you are.
I mean, honestly.
And I think I may take this call and send it over to President Trump.
Let him listen to it.
Okay.
All right.
And let me add this.
I think Ron DeSantis, I think his destiny is if he keeps doing this great job that he's been doing in Florida, I think the chances of him being president are very high at some point.
I really believe that.
What I'm most worried about President Trump right now is I do not like all these legal investigations.
It never stops.
It started the day it came down the escalator.
It's been unfair.
And I really, with all my heart, believe that he is going to finish what he started for us.
I really do believe that.
You got to win Georgia, North Carolina.
You got to pick off Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, Nevada.
Not easy.
Whoever the candidate is.
And I'll tell you one other thing.
Democrats, they are better at the game of elections than the Republicans are.
Republicans need to match and surpass their efforts if they want to compete.
They better start.
They better, yeah, and every Republican better embrace voting early and voting by mail.
Embrace it.
Democrats don't have Mr. Hannity that we do, and that's faith.
And our faith is going to get us through this.
And I believe that everybody is waking up.
I believe that they are seeing it.
And, you know, President Trump, he does say I a lot, but we all know that it's not just him.
He has some great people that are going to follow and help him along this journey.
He's got a strong, solid base.
America does need strength.
I think Ron DeSantis has many of Trump's qualities.
And in a lot of ways, while they might be opponents now and battling it out in a primary, even though Governor DeSantis has not announced that he's running, they're very similar.
They believe in many of the same things.
And I think both have done a good job.
And I give them a lot of credit.
The one thing we have Democrats don't have are great candidates with great ideas that are great fighters.
Yeah, we're going to do it.
I just wish I would just say, just be humble and get through this.
We're going to do it.
I really have faith that we are.
He's going to finish what he started.
Okay.
You know, we need to save the country.
That's the bottom line.
We do.
We really do.
And the only way we get to save the country is if we win the election.
We've got to win the election.
And it's not easy.
I'm telling you, the single biggest contributing factor, I believe, in 2024 will be forces outside of anyone's control.
Joe Biden has now laid the foundation to destroy our economy and make us dependent on foreign sources of energy.
Joe Biden has abdicated his role as the leader of the free world and America, the lone superpower in the world.
He's abandoned that role.
So we are in really, really dire straits here.
This is a tough, tough period of time historically for this country.
So I'm worried about it.
Anyway, I appreciate you being with us.
Thank you so much.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.

Sean Hannity is on right now.
No, no, no, no, no.
I want to remind you about our friends at Hillsdale College, our favorite college.
Look, students now graduating from colleges, universities.
This is the one place, Hillsdale College, where young people get the best classic, classical liberal arts education in America.
They're just great at what they do.
And when students graduate from Hillsdale, they have studied the great books, the history of Western civilization, America, and the meaning and history of our Constitution.
How many other colleges offer that?
Not many.
Anyway, we're talking about Hillsdale College, founded in 1844, for the reason to offer the kind of education that is needed to preserve civil and religious liberty in this country.
And it holds true to that mission today while still refusing to accept even one penny of taxpayer funding, not even indirectly in the form of student grants and student loans.
Now, Hillsdale students, they also abide by an honor code that ensures a unity of purpose.
It fosters lively, civil, and intelligent debate.
And the best part, you can learn from Hillsdale, get their free monthly speech digest.
It's called Imprimis.
It's absolutely free.
Or you can take one of their free online courses, C.S. Lewis, American History, the Constitution.
They got a ton of classes that will make you really, really smart.
Anyway, just go to their website.
It's Sean4Hillsdale, one word.com, S-E-A-N-F-O-R-Hillsdale.com, and start getting smarter now.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
Tonight, Hannity, Nine Eastern, set your DVR.
We'll have the latest on Tony Blinken organizing 51 former Intel officials to lie, outright lie to the American people about the Hunter Biden laptop that they knew nothing about.
Also, the difference between red states and blue states.
Why are red states doing so much better than blue states?
And the lawlessness is so out of control.
We'll look at that.
That's coming up tonight.
Also, Alvin Bragg's two-tiered system of justice exposed by Jim Jordan this week.
And a judge ruled in Jordan's favor that he can subpoena the guy that wrote that book, Pomerance.
And we'll have the latest on the lawlessness on our border that they deny.
