What I told people I was making a podcast about Benghazi, nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked, why?
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries, this is Fiasco, Benghazi.
What difference at this point does it make?
Listen to Fiasco, Benghazi, on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Stay right here for our final news roundup and information overload.
All right, news roundup, information overload hour, 800-941.
Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, well, the people in East Palestine, in Ohio, right near the Pennsylvania border, they're furious.
They're furious that Joe Biden decided to visit Kyiv.
It's not going over well in East Palestine, Ohio.
The mayor of East Palestine actually said earlier today that Biden's visit to Ukraine was, quote, the biggest slap in the face as his town continues to deal with the chemical fallout of this train derailment.
And during an appearance on Fox News, the mayor was asked to give his thoughts on Biden's surprise visit to Kyiv on Monday while he was in Poland for the international trip.
He said, quote, that was the biggest slap in the face, and that tells you right now he doesn't care about us.
So we can send every agency that he wants to.
But I found out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there and not to us.
And I'm furious.
Remember, he denied emergency relief aid for the people of Palestine.
He said it's President's Day in our country.
He's over in Ukraine.
That tells you what kind of guy he is.
And then Biden, of course, made the visit to Kyiv to visit President Zelensky just days before the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of the country.
And Biden said the surprise trip was meant to show U.S. support and solidarity for Ukraine, announcing on top of the $130 billion we've already given them an additional $500 million in aid to the country.
And by the way, at some point, Congress has got to step in here.
And they've got to say, no, we can't afford to be the primary financial support for this war in Europe.
We just can't.
And it should come to an end.
And certainly there's no excuse.
Mayor Pete Buttigieg remains under fire.
I mean, he actually was out there saying that, oh, East Palestine got plenty of attention, but there are over a thousand cases a year, you know, of train derailments.
By the way, he is your transportation secretary.
Listen.
Look, rail safety is something that has evolved a lot over the years, but there's clearly more that needs to be done because while this horrible situation has gotten a particularly high amount of attention, there are roughly 1,000 cases a year of a train derailing.
Obviously, they have levels of severity, but where all of that points us to is a need to continue to raise the bar on rail safety.
And that's especially true when it comes to rail that involves hazardous materials.
Well, that was the point because we have dead fish, dead animals, no answers, and people afraid to go back into their homes, Mayor Pete, pothole Pete.
And then he brags about his time as mayor of South Bend of eight years.
And, well, we deal with a lot of disasters.
Other towns deal with tons of disasters as if this is nothing.
Listen.
When are you going to go to East Palestine?
Well, I am planning to go, and our folks were on the ground from the first hours.
I do want to stress that the NTSB needs to be able to do its work independently.
But when I go, the focus is going to be on action.
Look, I was mayor of my hometown for eight years.
We dealt with a lot of disasters, natural and human.
And one of the things I noticed very quickly is that there's two kinds of people who show up when you have that kind of disaster experience.
People who are there because they have a specific job to do and are there to get something done, and people who are there to look good and have their picture taken.
When I go, it will be about action on rail safety, like the actions that we are calling on Congress to help us with, that we're calling on industry to take, and that we are undertaking ourselves as a department to help make sure that these kinds of things don't happen in the future.
He's saying this three weeks later.
It's a day late and a dollar short.
He did acknowledge, well, I know the long-term impact of all of this.
What's your message to people who are concerned that the department was late to speak out on this issue?
They're saying that transportation and EPA was late to the game and speaking out and responding to the situation in East Palestine.
Well, to be clear, our department was on the ground within hours helping with the response and the investigation.
Again, I respect the separate role of NTSB, but we have been on the ground literally from day one to make sure that we're doing our part to support.
I do think that it's important to speak out about that.
And I could have spoken out sooner, and I'm making sure that we are focused on the actions that are going to make a difference.
Yeah, day late, dollar short.
Great job, pothole Pete.
Anyway, 800-941-Sean is our number if you want to be a part of the program.
One side note on the elections.
Interesting in Chicago, latest polling that has come out shows that Lori Lightweight, her days may in fact be numbered.
I'm not sure how much credibility they'll put in this poll.
I don't think polls have been particularly accurate, but her chances of re-election now are looking slimmer than ever.
Every new poll showing her opponents holding a strong lead seven days now out of the Chicago mayoral race.
A poll of victory research showing that Paul Vallas, the former CEO of Chicago Public Schools, is now leading the top five candidates with 22%.
Lori Lightweight is in second at 17.1%, followed by the Cook County Commissioner, Brandon Johnson.
And, you know, so she's not looking good a week out of this election.
Where this is going, I don't know.
There's been a lot of reaction to Marjorie Taylor Greene's comments that maybe there ought to be a separation in the country because there's irreconcilable differences.
I don't think most people want anything other than a United States of America, but it does raise questions.
And here's question number one.
How do you reconcile new Green Deal, radical socialism, and capitalism?
Tell me where the middle ground is.
Where do you find middle ground?
Or is it a situation where one party is going to win, implement their full agenda, and then another party wins and implements the exact opposite agenda?
How do you reconcile those that want to defund the police, those that want no bail laws, and those that believe in law and order and safety and security?
How do you reconcile open borders versus secure borders?
How do you reconcile energy independence and American energy dominance versus those people that want us fully, completely, wholly dependent on foreign countries for what is the lifeblood of the world's economy?
How do you reconcile any of these issues?
We're at a point here.
It's like you sit down at a table and there's not going to be agreement, which is that's a part of the equation, putting aside Marjorie Taylor Greene's comments, that I don't see any middle ground on most of these big issues.
Anyway, 800-941, Sean is on number if you want to be a part of the program.
Let's say, Honda, Congressman Horry Mills is with us, Florida's seventh district.
Well, if East Palestine was in your district, I don't think you'd be too happy, Congressman.
I wouldn't.
I definitely wouldn't be, Sean.
I'd probably be asking the mayor to rename it East Kiev because that seems to be the only way to get radical funding out of the Biden administration.
It's a sad state of affairs.
I mean, the hardest part of that is we have no idea what the long-term impact of this is going to be.
Well, that's exactly right.
Nor do they care to actually get involved in it.
Again, Sean, this is just going ahead and reiterating the America-last agenda that the Biden administration has continued to perpetuate since coming into office.
As you had me on your program early on, you know, I was still in my campaign when I went overseas to Afghanistan to help conduct rescues for Americans after the Biden administration prioritized political optics over American safety.
Well, that's no different than him wanting to secure the borders of other nations while our border continues to be porous.
Flood across Sentinel that's killing tens of thousands every single year in America, continues a human crisis that is going on down there from the cartels and the sex trafficking that's going on.
The national security issue where we've had just in the recent months over 23 known terrorist organizations who've tried to smuggle across someone.
I mean, the whole point is that we should not be surprised that this administration prioritizes political optics and others and would actually even promote China before they would promote America.
Let me ask you this question because, you know, Biden makes a surprise visit to Ukraine, and I'm looking at the amount of money we're talking about, $113 billion so far, far more than Western Europe combined.
Yet Biden has steadfastly refused even Western European countries from providing fighter jets to actually compete with and hopefully defeat the former Soviet Union, the Russian leader, in this case, Putin.
My argument is I don't think they can win without the real weaponry of war.
Why are we even bothering?
You're exactly right, Sean.
Look, I spent over seven years in Iraq.
I spent over three years in Afghanistan.
These prolonged wars are not good for any nation that's involved.
We should have been providing everything that was necessary upfront if we were going to get involved to immediately go ahead and defeat the Russians, start the economic separation between China, Russia, Iran, North Korea to make this economically no longer $13 billion allocated, $29.8 billion that's already been spent.
We need to make a decision here.
One, to like, you know, NATO, which has existed since 1949, was created under the entire premise of helping to defeat any Soviet Union aggression, to start paying their 2% share and getting involved because it's in their backyard more so than it is ours.
But if we're going to stay involved in this, we need to get in there, get it over with, get them what they need, and then stop this prolonged warfare that's only building and helping out the military-industrial complex.
All right, quick break more with Congressman Corey Mills on the other side.
Then your calls: 800-941-Sean, our number if you want to be a part of the program, straight ahead.

Will we ever get the truth about the Benghazi massacre?
Bad faith, political warfare, and frankly, bullshit.

I'm back with Congressman Corey Mills.
Then we'll hit the phones, 800-941-Sean, our number.
Now we've got China and countries like Iran assisting and aiding and abetting Russia in their war effort.
But the question is, why would Joe Biden be providing all this money and then denying countries like Poland and others that wanted to provide fighter jets so that they can compete in the air against Vladimir Putin's air force?
Well, again, there's no reason for him to actually involve himself whatsoever with anything other than getting support from NATO and others to step up their play in this and actually start ending this war.
Look, we know, Sean, at the end of the day, that Ukraine had nothing to do with joining NATO.
Ukraine had nothing to do with recreating the old Soviet lines.
This is China and Chairman Xi's attempt to expand the Eurasian border, take Africa and Oceania to advance the Roden Belt initiative so he can cut off Western Hemisphere supply chain by controlling the port, controlling the railways, whether it's Horn of Africa, Mediterranean, Red Sea, Black Sea, Persian Gulf, start simultaneously attacking the petro-dollar for replacement and go after the U.S. dollar as a global currency to have it removed.
This is the Russia, China, Iran, North Korean geopolitical alignment, and it is targeted at the West with the support of WHO and WEF to advance this hegemony.
And if we don't get control over this right now, Sean, we have two choices in America right now.
We can decouple and defeat China economically now, or we can face them militarily later.
I have fought these wars.
It would be a great cost at this time.
We need to get back to energy, not just independence, but dominance.
We need to go ahead and make sure that economically we are strong standing.
Weakness invites aggression.
And this administration has demonstrated nothing but weakness on the world stage.
Would you want America to stop providing aid to Ukraine at this point, considering how the battle has been unfolding and Europe not doing their fair share?
I think with $113 billion allocated and we've only actually spent 29.8 to put it in the field until I can see a concerted effort and a strategy which allows us to end this war immediately.
I don't see how advancing and putting more money into this actually helps us as Americans.
How do you respond to Vladimir Putin's threat of a tactical nuclear weapon?
I don't really take it seriously at all.
Look, Sean, he did the exact same thing when President Trump, who was on an America First agenda, got us out of that failed INF treaty, the same as he did with JCPOA, that Resolution 2331.
I think that he's continuing to act as a madman because he knows that it makes him look unpredictable.
And it's something that he's not willing to do, in my personal opinion, because it would attract too much attention when it comes to the international forces that would actually be levied against him.
But Sean, here's the greater purpose.
We need to go all the way back to 2014.
Why is it whenever the Russians came across, annexed Crimea, took over Donetsk under the Obama administration, yet again, Biden's still in office?
Why didn't we levy the 1994 Budapest memorandum, of which the Federation of Russia is a co-signatory of with the U.S., with the U.K., with the Ukraine that recognized Ukraine's sovereignty in a nuclear nonproliferation agreement?
Why didn't we start looking at international attention then and waiting until the aggression got picked up later on down the road?
And so this whole thing has been played poorly.
Their foreign policy has failed.
And we remember that Secretary Gates, the former DOD secretary, said that Joe Biden is the only person he knows who's ever been 100% wrong on foreign policy.
This is a further example of why Joe Biden does not need to be in the actual White House.
It needs to be back in the basement.
Well, it's pretty scary times that we're living in.
And it seems like the aggressive nations now are on the march and they're doing it with impunity, you know, culminating with the spy balloon flying over American airspace and it being allowed to happen and then shooting, you know, being so embarrassed that they start shooting anything and everything out of the sky without even identifying it.
Congressman, we appreciate it.
Corey Mills, great state of Florida.
Thank you, sir, for being with us.
Thank you so much, Sean.
Quick break.
Right back.
We'll continue.
25 to the top of the hour.
Thank you for being with us.
800-941, Sean, our number.
You know, you may not know this, but the deed to your home is being targeted by criminals all around the world.
And it may even now be in some hacker's name, and you're not going to know about it until it's way too late.
But now with home title lock, you can verify that the deed to your home is safe and sound, and you can do it for free.
And that's what I did.
Now, the crime has a name.
It's called Home Title Fraud.
And you have these hackers targeting American homeowners.
And they've discovered that the deeds to your home are online.
And all a thief has to do is forge your signature on a document and claim you sold them your home when you didn't.
And they borrow thousands and thousands of dollars against your home, sell it to foreign investors.
You won't know about it until you get a late payment notice or even a foreclosure notice.
Now, a lot of people's homeowners' insurance does not cover or protect you.
Same with many common identity theft programs.
It does not protect you.
And home title lock does.
They put a virtual shield around your home's title.
Now, the instant they detect suspicious activity, they're going to mobilize and shut it down.
Anyway, first things first, you can verify that your home is still in your name.
It's free.
It's no obligation.
And you can register for 30 days of protection at home titlelock.com and use the promo code Sean S-E-A-N.
That's hometital.com promo code Sean if you'd like to.
Kevin in Georgia, how are you, Kevin?
Glad you called, sir.
Hey, I'm wonderful.
How are you?
I'm good, man.
What's going on?
Oh, I was just making sure that hopefully we'll keep a good eye out for the origins of COVID.
Make sure that the House Oversight, who has not even scheduled a meeting yet for that, you know, keeps on there, you know, keeps on searching to get the people who were responsible or if they knew about it beforehand, all of the dirty stuff about it, because it's very important.
A lot of people died.
We need answers.
It's not happening, number one.
Nobody wants to hold China accountable.
Number two, I think it's going to be many, many, many years from now before we fully, completely, scientifically understand the full ramifications of COVID and vaccines and the impact it's had on long-term health of people.
What's really scary, and I bet most people haven't heard this, is Zero Hedge had a good piece about it over the weekend, is the Biden administration is now negotiating a deal to give the WHO authority over U.S. pandemic policies.
I'll read from the piece.
It says the Biden administration is preparing to sign the United States up to a legally binding accord with the WHO that would give the Geneva-based UN subsidiary the authority to dictate America's policies during a pandemic.
Now, of course, this despite widespread criticism of the WHO's response to the COVID pandemic, and I can't even believe that we would even think about this.
They basically became the propaganda arm of the communist Chinese.
And Mike Pompeo said it, the World Health Organization is corrupt.
They are corrupt.
And we end up like, you know, the fools that we always are, paying the majority of monies for an organization that we know does not have America's best interest, health interest in this case, at heart.
It's pretty scary.
Yes, exactly.
They carried water for the CDC and each other to bury this.
And, you know, so many people died all over the world, not just here, but if we don't do anything about it, nobody will.
And I mean, we with the United States.
I have no faith in these international institutions, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the WHO, the Paris Climate Accords.
I think our involvement should be zero.
And yeah, am I saying that the United Nations give it to China?
Let them have it.
You know, it has proven itself over and over and over again to be anti-American and anti-Semitic.
And they've got an agenda that is not in the U.S.'s best interest, but we pay $7 billion for the United Nations every year, $7 billion.
And look at, for example, the World Economic Forum.
We pay a fortune to them every single year, millions and millions of taxpayer dollars.
The Paris Climate Accords, we pay the bulk of money, and we are by far much cleaner in terms of the environment than countries like China and India, and they pay next to nothing because they're classified as developing nations.
It's a joke.
So America, you know, once again, is a sucker nation, and we're bankrupting ourselves in the process, and we're hurting American taxpayers.
We can't afford to pay for all of this, especially when it's not in our best interest.
Those are the things that Donald Trump fought against that I don't know, you know, who would be willing to take these things on, but we need to.
Anyway, appreciate the call.
Tony, Iowa, next Sean Hannity show.
Glad you called, sir.
Hey, Sean, thanks for the take.
Good afternoon.
Wanted to throw out a few really quick things.
I mean, yeah, it'd be great if Biden showed half as much interest in the domestic issues as he did overseas.
I think it's just another opportunity for him to launder money, him and his ilk.
And as far as Buddha joke, you know, I mean, this is going to be the next Camp Lejeune.
I mean, if one of my pets perished, you know, because of this fiasco, I mean, I'm not even going to say what I'm going to do over there.
You know what I mean?
That's how I feel.
Listen, I think the mayor of East Palestine, Ohio was right.
It's a slap in the face on President's Day.
You know, Biden is over in Kyiv.
He's already given $130 billion in $33 billion in aid.
He's offering hundreds of millions more in aid.
And yet, neither he nor Pete Buddha judge, Pothole Pete, even seem to care at all or even willing to declare an emergency declaration for Palestine, Ohio.
It speaks volumes to me about how screwed up his priorities are.
Well, you know, hey, speaking of the money, they're shooting these $800,000, you know, $1 million missiles at balloons and stuff.
Well, I remember from physics in college where they would bounce a laser off the mirrors on the moon to determine the distance.
I mean, that's the thing about lasers is they stay small for very great distances.
You know, you shoot one of those industrial lasers that can burn through steel in half a second, you know, start shooting holes in this stuff and quit shooting million to hundreds of millions of dollar missiles at there.
Just do it from the ground.
Heck, have our high school kids do it.
I bet they could handle it.
Listen, I don't know that much about lasers.
I'll take your word for it, but if it could have been done that simply, they should have done it.
As far as the Chinese spy balloon was identified, the three unidentified objects that they decided to shoot out of the air, to me, is, I mean, it's beyond any comprehension I have.
You know, the fact that you're shooting at something you don't even know what you're shooting at, and you're spending $400,000 on a Sidewinder missile to do it is nuts.
But I think that was so freaked out at all the negative coverage that they had rightly received.
Anyway, appreciate the call.
Thanks, Tony.
Richard in Oregon.
Richard, how are you?
Glad you called.
I'm fine.
Hey, thanks for your time.
Thank you.
I got a couple of things.
One of them is it makes sense to me that there must have been some kind of camera on that jet.
Why couldn't they have identified these things with a camera before they ever shot them down?
And we wouldn't be having to call them UFOs.
We could actually identify them and say, hey, this was whatever.
Well, we do have the cockpit conversations with two of our, I think they were F-835s that they were flying.
I forget in the particular instance.
And neither pilot could identify that which they eventually shot out of the sky.
Don't they have a camera, though?
Don't they have some kind of something they can use to?
I would think so.
I know that a lot of times everything that our military does is filmed.
If they drop a bomb, for example, they'll film the explosion, see if it hits the target, et cetera.
That has not been forthcoming.
Do I think there probably is one?
I do.
However, just the cockpit voice recording, you know, and the conversation between the two pilots, and I'm not blaming the pilots.
The pilots were sent up there on a mission to, oh, we've identified something in the sky, shoot it out of the sky.
Well, but as they're circling it, they can't identify it.
Someone should be reviewing this footage, and the media shouldn't be involved in this until, obviously, it's identified as a particular object.
One other thing, real quick.
You know, the Democrats seem to have run a clinic on how to get an election.
And the Democrats have.
And the Republicans just have not learned anything from this.
And I don't understand how the Democrats could chase Donald Trump around for four years with the impeachment flag and just chase him and chase him and chase him, never catching him, but wasting a whole lot of his time, my time, and my money.
And the Republicans, there's nobody who's willing to take that step out in front and go, you know what?
Let's impeach him, this Democrat.
Well, remember, we have these simultaneous in-tandem investigations going on.
Jim Jordan, House Judiciary, and Jim Comer, House Government Reform and Oversight Committee.
So those investigations are going on.
However, if you're looking at a conclusion that would result in possible impeachment, it's possible, probably highly unlikely, because the odds of a conviction would be next to zero with a Democratic-controlled Senate.
However, the American people do need to know if we have a dual justice system.
They need to know if the FBI is politicized.
I think the answer is obvious, and whether the DOJ is weaponized.
And they need to know the extent of financial dealings with the Biden family and countries like China and Russia and Ukraine and others.
And I think we'll get answers to all of that.
And we need to know whether or not the president has benefited financially from these dealings, which, yeah, would have compromised him.
I don't think there's any doubt Joe Biden is compromised.
It just, to the extent to which we find out and discover it, I think we'll get there because I think the evidence is going to be overwhelming.
I think it'll be incontrovertible.
And I think it'll be plain for the eye to see.
Will the media care?
No.
Will they make excuses?
Yes.
Will Democrats rally around anything Joe Biden did?
Yes.
Because Democrats circle the wagons.
Republicans create circular firing squads.
That's usually how it works.
Oh, and I agree.
But, you know, the damage is going to be done from just the act of all of this.
The damage wasn't done to Trump by either convicting or not convicting.
The damage was done by all the media that ran around Trump while he was being tried, as it were.
Well, I mean, look at the January 6th committee.
We now have even NBC News was reporting that all of this intelligence showed that there was the possibility for an attack on January 6th.
It was a massive failure of intelligence and law enforcement, but that never came up in the committee because the committee were all Trump haters, Trump impeachers that had a predetermined outcome, and they did not have as one of their goals, which they should have had as their top goal to prevent anything like that from ever happening again.
They had all the intelligence in the world that this was likely to happen, and they did nothing.
And then we have the, you know, tapes that will be coming out, you know, showing people in law enforcement assisting.
And then we're getting stories about people that had infiltrated, you know, differing groups.
I don't even know the names of these groups, but that it happened that day.
You know, if we really cared about January 6th, we would have gotten the Capitol Police Chief.
We would have gotten the sergeant of arms.
We would have gotten Nancy Pelosi and Muriel Bowser and all their emails and all their text messages and all their phone call records.
And we would have been able to piece together what intelligence we had when and why they failed to act on that intelligence, which would have prevented what happened on January 6th from ever happening.
But their whole purpose was to bludgeon Donald Trump at all costs.
And that's what they did.
Anyway, 800-941-Sean is on number.
If you want to be a part of the program, we'll continue.
I can repeat it.
He said, with the president being in Ukraine today, you know, did that surprise you?
Absolutely.
That was the biggest slap in the face.
That tells you right now he doesn't care about us.
So agreed.
He can send every agency he wants to, but I found that out this morning in one of the briefings that he was in the Ukraine giving millions of dollars away to people over there and not to us.
And I'm furious.
But we have been on the ground literally from day one to make sure that we're doing our part to support.
I do think that it's important to speak out about that.
And I could have spoken out sooner.
And I'm making sure that we are focused on the actions that are going to make a difference.
All right.
These are tough economic times.
Lawrence Summers actually is now warning that the U.S. economy is headed for a crash.
He says when your brakes don't get much traction, two things happen.
You can be moving too fast.
That's the inflation pressure.
And you could be setting yourself up for some kind of collision or crash down the road.
He said, both of these things, I think, are real risks in this environment, talking about the economy.
Anyway, so what does that mean for you?
All of us need to find ways to save money.
And that's where my cell phone company, PureTalk, comes into play.
They are the no-contract wireless company.
You don't sign a contract.
They use the exact same cell towers and the exact same 5G network as the big carriers, ATT, Verizon, T-Mobile.
You have the same number of coverage bars on your phone.
You keep your phone.
You keep your phone number.
And by the way, you try it one month.
And if you're not completely satisfied, you get your money back, no questions asked.
And you're going to love their ultra-fast, blazing-fast 5G service, unlimited talk and text, 30 bucks a month.
It's a veteran-owned company with the best customer service you could ever want.
Making the switch is simple.
It is easy.

And if you do it now, you'll save an additional 50% off your first month.
That's pound 250.
Keyword save now money in your pocket for the exact same service from Pure Talk.
They are simply smarter wireless.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.

Is there any middle ground?
Because I don't see it.

What I told people I was making a podcast about Benghazi, nine times out of ten, they called me a masochist, rolled their eyes, or just asked, why?
Benghazi, the truth became a web of lies.
From Prologue Projects and Pushkin Industries, this is Fiasco Benghazi.
