Mr. O'Reilly, sir, how are you?
Yeah, I'm exhausted, Hannity.
Uh at a side.
I feel like you're shrink.
Go ahead.
Yeah, you know, I had to do a lot of radio hits and uh TV after this State of the Union and uh Governor uh Huckabee Sanders' address, which I really thought was excellent.
Even if you're uh a Democrat or far left, the way she delivered that in a concise manner with a very heart-rending story about a visit to Iraq.
Um you just step back, it was excellent speech writing, and she gave um a perfect rendition of the speech, which sets her up for a presidential run down the road.
And there's no question that I think she I don't think there's any doubt about it.
I thought she was the star of the night by far.
Yeah, but you're a little partisan.
Um excuse me, Bill, you're partisan too.
You're partisan to your point of view, I'm partisan to my point of view.
So I mean, we're all partisan if we have opinions.
I'm not I'm not disparaging you, but I try to look at it dispassionately, and I'll give you an example.
So two things about Biden in a positive realm struck me.
Number one, that was the most energy and the best delivered speech he's ever given.
So he had very good energy.
Uh he didn't stumble around.
That that that's a very low bar, Bill.
And but you know, he's he's got a reputation well earned of being befuddled.
And he didn't look befuddled.
The second thing is the strongest um part of the speech was the uh lowering of drug costs, particularly for seniors.
And the GOP, the Republican Party should get on board with that, because that is very important.
Now the rest of his speech, and I know you concur, was standard issue, Democrat left wing politics.
There wasn't anything different about it.
He said it a million times.
He distorts his economic record because he knows that people believe what they want to believe, and that's the age we live in now.
People believe what they want to believe, and you could present them with 18 facts.
If they don't want to believe the facts, they're not gonna believe them.
So he can get away with stuff that previous presidents could not get away with.
But the worst part of it was that uh Biden doesn't seem to understand the suffering that Americans are experiencing.
He's up there going, everything's great, we're the strongest.
And when more than half of the population lives paycheck to paycheck, that is a disaster.
And I wrote a column on BillOrilly.com.
If you live paycheck to pay, you're not a free person.
You are not free.
Bill, I've been there.
I've lived it.
Um you mentioned that poll.
That's two-thirds of the American people now living paycheck to paycheck.
By the way, even a very high percentage, fifty over fifty percent of people making over a hundred grand a year.
A lot of it is directly related to Biden's economic and energy policies.
But it it's it's not just that.
Marist had a poll out that 62% of Americans think the State of the Union is not strong at all.
Then you have the ABC Washington Post poll, same number, 62% of Americans saying he's not achieved much in the first two years.
Uh you have by more than three to one a CBS poll saying that Americans are telling them that the State of the Union is weak.
If you go back to October when Democrats were asked, do you want Joe Biden to seek a second term?
It was 52%.
Now it's 37%.
Um, all of the suffering is real.
If you compare and contrast what he inherited to where we are now on every issue from the border to uh energy to the economy to foreign policy.
It there's nothing he's doing, Bill that's really working well.
But even worse than that, he didn't show any concern about it.
Well, because he's convinced himself or his advisors have that he's he's really the best things in sliced bread.
He lives in a delusional world.
Let me quote Governor Huckabee Sanders.
The Biden administration is doubling down on crazy.
President Biden inherited the fastest economic recovery on record, the most secure border in history, cheap abundant homegrown energy, fast rising wages, a rebuilt military, and a world that was stable and at peace.
Over the past two years, Democrats destroyed it all.
That is a pithy, accurate statement.
And that sums it up.
But you are correct, Kennedy.
And again, my knees wobble when I say that.
He doesn't believe it because he doesn't want to believe it.
But she said one other thing.
The choice now is not even left, right, red, blue, conservative, liberal.
It's a choice between normal and crazy.
You know I'm not a registered Republican.
You know I am what I consider to be a common sense conservative.
Policies that work for people.
Conservatism, Bill, you've heard me explain it, is very simple.
It's not that complicated.
You understand real conservatism.
You call yourself a traditionalist.
That's pretty much saying you're a conservative.
I'm a person who believes in one thing above all when you're talking about this country.
And that is self-reliance.
Now, if that's a conservative tenant, and the way this government is going, it is at this point.
Didn't used to be.
Didn't used to be, but now it is.
I do not believe you should live your life dependent on a government.
That is to me slavery.
That is exactly what the new Green Deal is.
Cradle to grave, womb to the tomb.
Well, uh, radical socialism.
Did you pick this up?
This this was at the end of the speech.
Very, very telling.
Okay?
And I'm going to quote again.
This is Biden.
All right.
Nobody picked this up but Bill O'Reilly.
Go ahead, sir.
I picked up a couple of things.
Come on.
Go ahead.
So he goes, um, we have to have a living wage in this country.
Key.
That's what's coming.
A living wage.
Now who would decide that living wage?
Not the employers, not the small and large companies, the government.
Let me ask you this.
And I'm not being condescending here, and I'm not, I'm not testing you.
Have you read the Green New Deal?
It's it's been a while.
You might have forgotten the aspects of it.
The Green New Deal has nothing to do with anything environmental.
It promises guaranteed government pre-K, guaranteed government college, uh, it guarantees a government job, a government wage, guaranteed health care, guaranteed retirement, uh, loan forgiveness.
Base basically womb to the tomb, cradle to grave.
The only way you pay for that is you rob from one group of people, or you legalize the confiscation of people's labor and redistribute it and create a power base for yourself.
Now, I'm gonna add one thing.
That is whatever form manifestation you want to call it, that is socialism, and socialism always ends the same way, and that is with unfulfilled promises, a more poverty instead of less, and how much freedom did you sacrifice in the name of that false security?
All because in order to implement that in a country of three hundred and thirty million, you would have to the worker would have to fork over most of his or her earnings to the government to afford it, as they do in Europe.
Okay.
So when I go to Europe, I always ask the folks, you know, this and that, and nobody has any money, but they say, Well, we're not worried because we got a pension, we got health care, we got free education, so we don't need a lot of money.
And I'm looking at him, if you don't have a lot of money, you don't have options.
If you want to travel somewhere, or if your friend gets desperately ill, or you want to get the charity, you can't, because you don't have the money.
But that is what Biden I don't think he's gonna run.
Um I'm in a minority now.
Everybody thinks he's gonna run for re-election.
I don't think he will.
I think he's gonna be challenged by Gavin Newsom.
Yeah, something's gonna happen, though.
He I mean, he just can't undergo the rigors of a campaign and the the real top of the Democratic Party.
No, he he he will hide like he did the last time, and the media will help him.
Right.
But they'll gonna run on the living wage, okay?
That's what's coming in the twenty-four election.
Democrats are gonna promise the workers a certain amount of money, and uh it it doesn't matter whether you're good at your job or not.
I mean, that's not gonna matter, just like the unions, all right, and they're gonna promise everybody if you elect us, we're gonna give you this wage, and we'll determine what the wage is, not the private industry.
And as you just said, that's socialism.
I quick break more with Simple Man Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly at Bill O'Reilly.com, then we'll get to your calls.

Check out the Sean Hannity jobs for him today.
Now, Hannity's on coast to coast.
All right, we continue with Simple Man, all things simple man, Bill O'Reilly of Bill O'Reilly.com.
I have one more big question for you.
Let me lay the foundation.
Give me a less than a minute.
So the president said very little about China last night, and we had the eight-day balloon incident, which I think was a test of Biden by the Chinese, and I think he failed miserably.
And here's what I don't understand.
We have been watching the territorial ambitions of China with Taiwan as they fly their fighter jets over Taiwan airspace regularly.
We have in this country, and it's been reported widely.
China is now purchasing thousands and thousands of acres of farmland, ranch land, and thousands of acres around our military installations.
We've already known about their unfair trade practices, their intellectual property theft.
We know about their human rights abuses, slave labor, the persecution of the Uyghurs, and And we know, for example, that Joe Biden says very little last night about our number one geopolitical foe, and he depleted our petroleum reserves, and now he's fighting hard to take the remaining reserves and sell some of them to China.
I want to know, Bill O'Reilly, do you believe and do you think the American people have a right to know how much money in business the Biden family has done with China, and don't we need a full accounting sooner than later?
Because that doesn't sound like a guy that has any intention of ever taking on our number one threat.
Well, that's Jim Jordan's job, so I I sure.
I mean, Americans have to know if Biden is a conflict of interest as far as China is concerned.
Um the thing that troubles me though, as much as his weakness in foreign affairs, and there's no doubt that the people in the world who hate us feel that he is weak.
There's no doubt about that.
Okay.
But what troubles me more is they knew about that balloon flying over the elusions in U.S. airspace about what, five days before the story broke?
Was it five days or four days?
It was it was January twenty eighth.
They knew about it was over Alaska.
Okay.
They didn't tell and they probably knew days before, but go ahead.
They didn't tell it.
The American people were not alerted.
Okay.
The same thing happened with the Biden top secret documents in his think tank in DC.
They knew about it before the election, and they didn't say anything about it.
That's two now we got.
Where they actively tried to keep important information from the American people.
All right.
That is a huge story that the media has overlooked.
And China is going to have to be dealt with.
I don't think they're as insane as Putin is.
I could be wrong, but I think China understands it's got to support 1.5 billion people, and to cause a ruckus in the world is going to hurt them economically.
And those are not happy anyway over there.
Bill, I don't think Joe Biden has the wherewithal to take on this threat.
I I do believe that world leaders and especially nefarious leaders and dangerous leaders and dictatorial leaders like like Putin and President Chi.
They have made an assessment of Joe Biden that he is weak, he is frail, he's cognitively compromised, and he is somebody that will never fight back.
Am I wrong?
I don't know about that.
Um, whether he will never fight back, because he's not in charge.
Who's in charge, Bill?
Um Susan Rice is pretty much in charge now, and she's best friends with uh is this a guess or do you have in inside knowledge that I don't have?
I know that to be a fact.
And that's one of the reasons that Ron Klain left.
Because Rice had taken over most of the power inside the White House.
And Rice is a very left-wing individual.
But the Pentagon, I'm not sure they would stand by for any kind of real atrocity by the Chinese and not do anything.
All things simple man, Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly, Bill O'Reilly.com, sir.

Oh, 25 to the top of the hour.
Thank you for being with us.
800-941-SHAWN.
Our number will get to your calls in a minute.
I want to remind you, these are tough economic times in spite of what Biden might have tried to portray last night.
They are tough.
And two thirds of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.
Now, I have a way for everybody, everyone listening to the show to save money and not compromise anything in terms of service for your cell phone.
And that means switching to my cell phone company, and that's Pure Talk.
They use the exact same cell towers as Verizon ATT and T-Mobile.
They have the same 5G network.
When you look at your phone, you'll see the same coverage bars because it's the same towers and 5G network.
And you keep your phone, you keep your phone number.
I mean, average family saving close to a thousand dollars a year, many families saving much more.
And to add to all of that, you'll get blazing fast data, unlimited talk and text, and it's only 30 bucks a month, and you'll get your first month risk-free.
If you try it, you're not completely happy.
You get your money back.
It's that simple.
Anyway, just dial pound 250, say the keywords, save now, do it now.
You save an additional 50% off your first month.
That's pound 250.
Key word, save now, pure talk.
Simply, smarter, wireless.
Um, let me go to one moment last night.
This this was actually, I think the most entertaining and the most fun.
Uh Joe Biden and the Democrats.
I've said this all the time, and they did this in the last election.
They want to lie to the American people.
They want to label Republicans as racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, now transphobic.
They want dirty air and water, as Barack Obama said.
That's their plan.
And they want to kill grandma and grandpa and throw them off a cliff.
None of it's true.
One of the other big lies is Republicans want to take away your mom, your dad's, your grandma, your grandpa's Social Security, And Medicare.
It's not true.
Biden said it last night, and the Republicans, they push back.
And when I talk to a couple of them, they say we're afraid you're going to shut down all the oil wells and all the uh oil refineries anyway, so why should we invest in them?
I said, we're gonna need oil for at least another decade.
And that's gonna exceed and beyond that.
We're gonna need it.
Production.
So my many of some of my Republican friends want to take the economy hostage.
I get it.
Unless I agree to their economic plans.
All of you at home should know what those plans are.
Instead of making the wealthy pay their fair share, some Republicans, some Republicans want Medicare and Social Security sunset.
I'm not saying it's the majority.
Let me give you anybody who doubts it.
Contact my office.
I'll give you a copy.
I'll give you a copy of the proposal.
That means Congress doesn't vote.
Well, I'm glad you see you.
Anyway, so that went on, and then he said, Oh, I guess we all agree then.
Well, apparently apparently not.
Looky here.
Look at what my crackerjack research staff found.
Joe Biden, January 31, 1995, saying when I argued we should freeze spending, federal spending, I meant Social Security as well.
I meant Medicare and Medicaid.
I meant I meant veterans' benefits.
I meant every single solitary thing in government.
And I not only tried it once, I tried it twice.
I tried it a third time, I tried it a fourth time.
So the very thing he's claiming that Republicans have the secret plan for, he himself was a champion of.
Listen.
When I argued that we should freeze federal spending, I meant Social Security as well.
I meant Medicare and Medicaid.
I meant veterans.
I meant every single solitary thing in the government.
And I not only tried it once, I tried it twice, I tried it a third time, and I tried it a fourth time.
Oh.
Joe Biden.
I can't wait to show you this video tonight.
Uh, because nobody else in the media mob ever will.
That I can promise you.
All right, 800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the uh program, that's so much to get to.
Uh let's say hi to Tim in South Carolina.
Tim, you're on the Sean Hannity show.
What's going on?
Uh, not much, just hanging out here in Charleston, beautiful Charleston, South Carolina.
How are you doing?
By the way, love Charleston.
Have you ever been to Hall Steakhouse in Charleston?
Uh Mr. Billy Hall, God rest the soul, was a good friend of mine.
Tommy and um Billy are good friends and the mother, so there it's a great place.
Uh Halls and all those good places.
Great food, too.
Great people, great staff.
Yeah, great people, great staff, great environment, and the food is phenomenal.
Totally agree.
Absolutely.
Uh we'd love to have you back down.
But I called in to say that, you know, I'm I'm uh more of an independent Democrat leaning, but I'm very conservative by nature from Florence, South Carolina, and I actually thought the uh speech wasn't that bad.
It was uh it kind of spoke on some points that kind of united us.
There were some points, and obviously politically, people are gonna have their viewpoints, but um some of the points that with the uh the jobs and uh and just in general, I think I thought it was a good speech.
Now, obviously it was a political speech, and they're gonna be points that Democrats agree with and Republicans didn't agree with, but I didn't think it was as extreme as some of what the Republicans were doing in the galley with uh with the yelling and the hooting and the hollering, you know, you could see McCart McCarthy trying to hold him down.
So I think there should be more unification.
Um I think he grasped on some of those points.
But I listened to your show and I listen to other shows, and I understand people have their viewpoints, but there needs to be some sort of communication to try to bring us to get together instead of stating why everybody else is as bad as they are.
I mean, I asked the question yesterday on this show.
I asked it last night on TV.
Tell me, has your life improved in the last two years?
Because most Americans, two-thirds of Americans now live paycheck to paycheck.
The average American household is paying an additional ten thousand dollars because of Biden inflation.
Uh, we didn't have inflation when Donald Trump left office.
Uh we're now paying about a dollar more a gallon and it's going up yet again because he depleted the strategic petroleum reserves.
So tell me, are you better off?
Is your family better off?
Are most of your friends better off?
Most of your family better off economically since Joe has become president.
Well, my family's not has my family's been worse before Trump got in there.
It was worse before Bu Obama got in there.
I didn't I didn't ask you that.
I'm asking you in the two years of Joe Biden, has his policies help improve the lives of the people that you know economically.
Yes, absolutely.
Well, when you bring up the oil reserves, you have to talk about why the oils rent up.
Hey, Tim, here's the problem.
And I don't take this the wrong way.
If it if in fact what you're telling me is true, and I won't question the veracity of your statement, but that is not what most Americans are experiencing.
That is not what the polls are showing.
That's not what the economic statistics are showing.
It's showing uh the American people are suffering economically because of his adherence to this Green New Deal radical socialism, uh his radical energy policies, he abandoned energy independence, he abandoned uh America being a net exporter of energy.
You know, d I I I just don't know what to say to you if that's really how you feel.
Do you think the world is safer because Joe Biden since Joe Biden became president?
You think we're more safe, more secure or not?
Absolutely.
I think we have more of a sense of who we are.
I think we've become less divided because when I mean I mean, you you know Trump when Trump was talking, we we were more alienated.
You know, I think Joe's trying to bring more jobs to America as opposed to sending those jobs over the He's trying to, trying to, trying to, you know, I'll use Sarah Huckabee Sanders' line.
I thought she gave a great speech last night.
Joe Biden inherited the fastest economic recovery on record.
He inherited the most secure border in history.
He inherited cheap, abundant homegrown energy.
He had fast rising wages, a rebuilt military, and a world that was stable and at peace, but over the last two years, Democrats have destroyed all of that.
Do you think our border is secure?
Do you think it was smart to give up energy independence?
I think it's a bad idea to claim that the all when all the fentanyl that was caught at the border, I think it's bad to blame Joe Biden.
I think it's you should uh applaud him.
Have you have you not been watching the the record five million people in two years that he's allowed into this country illegally by not enforcing our laws?
The not enforcing the laws.
Those how many people have been coming to this country illegally for the past 20, 30 years?
So if you know, Tim, you you sound like a nice guy.
You really do.
Here's here's my problem in having this discussion with you.
Is you're not in you're not you're not living in reality.
Oh, for you, this is purely about partisan politics.
Because under Trump, we didn't have a border problem.
Under Trump, we were energy independent.
Under Joe Biden, we abandoned those policies.
And you can't be honest enough to say, no, Joe Biden's not doing a good job at the border.
He's he's not enforcing our laws.
You're not being honest enough to say, yes, he's given in to this this climate alarmist agenda, and as a result, we're all paying more to heat and cool our homes, we're all paying more to put gas in our car, uh, truckers are paying more to put diesel in their trucks.
I if I can't find that simple agreement with you, there's really no point for us to ever talk.
Does that make sense?
I'm not being mean.
Because you're being extreme to your point.
You can't explain the fact that all the the prices of oil rising isn't simply put on the president.
You have to take a volume.
Excuse me.
Do you do you do you think it was a good idea to abandon the Keystone XL pipeline, but then simultaneously give a waiver to Vladimir Putin to build his pipeline?
The Keystone XL pipeline would have been long finished and we would be importing 900,000 barrels of oil from Canada a day.
Do you think it was a mistake not to finish it?
We would have been deporting most of that stuff to sell to other countries and we wouldn't be getting it.
Okay.
Do you do you not acknowledge that he has abandoned the energy independence that he inherited?
I think he's changed course on energy independence.
I think you can't it's you I I I don't mean to be rude.
To be honest, Tim, you're giving me a headache.
You're really you can't admit that fundamentally the guy you elected has caused all of these these negative ramifications.
And if I can't get you to see things that are just simple truth, how do I have a discussion with you?
It's kind of hard.
So you keep on believing everything you want to believe about Joe Biden.
You keep voting for Democrats, and you'll you'll s you'll you'll bear the fruit of these bad policies which America is now suffering under.
If you're happy with the way things are, you think it's okay to pay, you know, a dollar, two dollars more per gallon of gasoline.
If you think it's okay to pay more to heat and cool your home, if you think it's okay to have wide open borders, which means yes, you know, the the number of drugs coming into this country is astronomically higher.
Uh I gave out all those numbers yesterday.
I won't regurgitate them.
And you just keep voting for Democrats.
All right.
That's my advice to you.
I can't help you.
You're you're not somebody that is not somebody that has an open mind.
You have an ideology that's driving you.
I'm just looking at basic fundamental results.
The results were so much better with conservative policies.
All right, quick break, right back.
800 941 Sean, our number, you want to be a part of the program as we continue more of your calls straight ahead.
Up next, our final roundup and information overload hours.
All right, let's get back to our busy phones.
Chris, South Carolina.
We'll try another South Carolina caller.
How are you?
Hey, Sean.
What's going on?
I had a question.
I I was I served in the military and I I'm quite aware of what the military is capable of and what we're supposed to be disclosing.
Do you really believe the Trump administration was unaware that there was a balloon that crossed the border, or do you think it was some sort of attempt to take some heat off of Joe Biden?
Well, I to be honest, I mean, I I think that they've even though everybody's acknowledged that nobody during the Trump years and nobody's proven since that a balloon might have for a very short duration, uh, may have on three separate occasions, briefly entered uh a U.S. airspace, but nobody knew it at the time, and they were only able to piece it together later.
Um and there's not one person in the Trump administration that was ever made aware of any of this until the big balloon went from Alaska to Idaho to Montana to Missouri to Kansas to Kentucky, and then made its way to the Carolinas.
So there's no comparison.
So I you know, if they have any evidence to prove that there were three balloons that had, you know, a minor incursion into our airspace for a very short duration or period of time.
I'd like to see the evidence until then call me uh suspicious.
Exactly.
Yeah, and then again, I'm not sure what world Tim was living in, but it's definitely not the majority of us here in South Carolina.
That that part I know South Carolina well enough to know that that does not represent most of South Carolina.
That's true.
All right, we have one minute.
Joe in Arizona.
Joe, I'm holding you to the one minute, it's all yours.
Go.
Okay.
Uh thank you very much having me on, Hannity.
Listen, just three points.
Number one, um, that was just totally misinformation.
It was gross to look at at uh address that the uh president gave last night.
And number two, um I used to work for Naval I'm a retired naval veteran, and I used to work for Naval Intel, and I know that uh just my theory that the balloon that was up in the air, it could have dropped nano biological chemicals all over our country before it got destroyed.
I'm not saying that it has, but we do have that.
I mean, China does have that capability also, besides us.
And number three, our country is being attacked not only by a balloon, but also by um the illegal immigration that's going on.
I mean, our country is attacked from all sides of the country.
And I'm just kind of upset that the people don't do, you know, the people that speak out don't do anything about removing this president.
Listen, I I think you raise a lot of good points.
I will tell you this.
Um that as I look at everything going on in the country, there's there's not a single thing that I'm saying.
Wow, I'm really glad we're doing this.
I don't think I've ever been this worried about the future of the country than I am now.
For a lot of different reasons.
Not the least of which is there are a lot of people like this guy, Tim from South Carolina that believe the nonsense that he's pushing.
Anyway, our minutes up, 800-941 Sean.
