This is an iHeart Podcast.
Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
All right, news roundup and information overload hour.
Toll-free, our number is 800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
We've been following all of these Senate races, and all of them are vitally important.
We're in Florida today.
We have a town hall tonight with Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Rick Scott, Governor Ron DeSantis.
They're all going to be there.
It's going to be a lot of fun on top of everything else, but we've been doing them around the country.
One race that is going very well polling-wise for the Republicans is in the great state of North Carolina.
Real Clear Politics Average has Ted Budd up now by four points running for the Senate.
But if Republicans want control of the Senate, they've got to win in Florida.
Mark Orubio has to win.
Herschel has to win.
Ted Budd has to win.
Obviously, people like Senator Tim Scott, Senator Grassley, Senator Johnson, I believe, will win.
Senator John Kennedy will win.
You know, certain races I'm not worried about at all.
But then we've got to win Pennsylvania with Dr. Oz, even after the disastrous debate.
You can't take that for granted.
You've got to win with JD Vance in Ohio.
You've got to win Eric Schmidt in Missouri.
You've got to win.
Adam Laxall has to win in Nevada.
We're looking for Blake Masters to pull it out in the great state of Arizona.
So, you know, we've got a lot of work to do.
I don't want to take any votes for granted.
That's why we have invited Ted Budd back on the program.
Ted Budd has put out the latest campaign ad we'll bring up to speed, highlighting Biden and Sherry Beasley's support for hiring 87,000 IRS agents.
Joe Biden spent recklessly.
Now he wants 87,000 more IRS agents to cover his tab.
Sherry Beasley supports both ideas.
87,000 to harass small businesses and working people like her and them, no matter the pain it causes.
I'm Ted Budd, and I'm running for Senate because Joe Biden and Sherry Beasley want more from you.
I want more for you, and that's the difference.
I'm Ted Budd, and I approve this message.
All right, Ted Budd joins us now.
Should I start calling you Senator or don't count my chickens before they hatch?
How are you?
Yeah, I grew up on a chicken farm here in Davey County, so I take that very personally.
We're not going to count any before they hatch, nor are we going to measure any drapes.
Wait a minute.
Did you really grow up on a chicken farm?
Absolutely on a chicken and cattle farm right west of Winston-Salem.
You know what?
That is such a great story.
I never knew that about you.
What's that like?
Well, it means a lot of hard work and there's still a lot of manure.
Even after you leave the farm, you got to go to Washington to handle the manure.
So it's, you know, you never can get rid of it.
There's always around because of the swamp up there.
All right.
You just went up like 100 more points of my book for that answer.
That's a great answer.
The campaign's been going well.
Look, I try to keep everything pretty simple.
Conservatism to me is very simple.
It's limited government.
It's more freedom.
It's liberty, freedom.
Our Constitution.
It's capitalism.
It's law and order and safety and security for the people in big towns and big cities and small towns.
It means a classical education, not a woke education.
It means energy independence so we don't have to rely on hostile regimes for the lifeblood of our economy.
It means law and order and secure borders.
It means constitutionalists on the bench, peace through strength.
It means free and fair trade.
I mean, it's not complicated, Senator, and that's all I'm really looking for in a candidate.
If those candidates not only express those principles, but act on them, that's who I'm looking for to work for us in Washington.
You know, your listeners are so smart out there because they realize this is about the platform.
Maybe folks like me personally, maybe they don't.
I sure hope they do.
I hope they turn out for me here in 12 days in North Carolina.
But this is about the platform where we all win.
Rich, poor, no matter your background, what you look like, men, women, we all win with the Republican platform because it gives people their freedom.
It makes them safe.
It gives them an opportunity where they can thrive as small business entrepreneurs, people taking a chance.
The American dream is born on the ideas that the Republican platform is out there for everyone.
So, Sean, we have to protect this country.
There's nowhere else to run to.
So, this is one of the reasons why I'm out there, you know, running hard for this whole campaign, but especially in these last 12 days, because we're not going to give an inch.
We're going to stay humble.
We're going to work hard.
We're going to stay focused.
We're going to talk about inflation and what Joe Biden has done and what Sherry Beasley would do.
Crime, what Joe Biden has done to make it worse, what Sherry Beasley would and has already done on the bench to make it worse.
And education, you know, what the Democrats have done to make it worse and what we would do to give parents a say back in their kids' education.
Can you believe what the damage that they've done in, what, 20 months?
A 41-year inflation high, record-high gas prices, wide open borders, nearly what going on, 5 million illegal immigrants, that Joe's policies are enabling people to come into this country and disregard our laws and then get preferential treatment when they get here.
Add to that, you know, the fact that they support defund, dismantle, no-bail laws, the fact that they prefer woke education over reading, writing, math, science, history, and computers.
It's insane to me.
And I think this is going to be a wave election year.
I can't predict with any amount of certainty.
I don't have a crystal ball.
But if this is not a wave election, I truly worry about the future of this country.
A Democratic majority, that will result in packing the Supreme Court.
That will result in ending the legislative filibuster.
That will result in D.C. statehood, Puerto Rico statehood.
That will result in radical climate alarmists that will institute socialism and destroy the greatest economy God ever gave man.
That's what I fear if they win.
The debate says everything.
They say you can't, as a Republican, win a debate, but we won it hands down back on October 7th.
I know we've had a lot of successes as Republicans with debates lately because the issues are on our side.
But at the end of my debate, Sean, they asked my opponent, they asked me, would you support continuing the FIDBuster?
I said, absolutely.
Yes.
She said no.
She talks about unity, but breaking the filibuster is one of the most divisive things you could do to this country.
If we want more unity, we got to have 60 senators or more agreeing on something for the American people.
And that includes not packing the courts, not allowing our borders to run rampants, and not allowing this wild agenda that has destroyed our country and hurt us over the last almost two years.
Two years ago, I don't think any of us would have predicted how bad it would have been.
Many of us said, well, thank God that it wasn't Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders, but how could it have been any worse?
You know, I'm going to tell you, maybe some people are looking at the polls.
They see that you're ahead.
I'm asking everybody out there to just assume Ted Budd is down 5% and that every vote is going to matter here because it will.
I don't want people to get complacent because they see polls and they said, oh, he's going to win anyway.
If you don't vote, you're going to get the government you deserve.
Everybody's got to participate.
It's an all-hands-on-deck moment.
Talk about early voting in the state of North Carolina and how that works.
So early voting started back on the 20th, so we're several days into it.
We're seeing some good results from independents.
We think Democrats may come our way.
But look, we've got to run like we are five points behind, like you said.
We are not, this is not just a purple state.
It is red and blue.
But I think people, whether it's rural, whether it's city, they are fed up with what Joe Biden has done, what Sherry Beasley would do.
They want nothing more to do with that agenda.
They want to give Republicans a shot to help turn this country around.
Sean, I look at it like a brake pedal and a gas pedal.
We've got to step on the brake pedal first to stop Joe Biden's radical agenda.
And then we have to turn this country around over the next two years, 2024, and we have to press the gas in the right direction.
But we've got to run like we're behind.
We are not out of the woods.
This is North Carolina.
It's always close.
We've got close races around the country.
We're going to run through the tape.
Like a NASCAR driver and owner told me two weeks ago, don't let off until you see the checkered flag, and nor will we.
Well, I wish every candidate was as passionate and as articulate as you are.
I've interviewed some doozies over this last year, and it's not that they're bad people, but they don't have the passion that you have.
You've got to have a passion if you're running for office.
You've got to want to get involved and get into the fight and get a little dirty and bloodied up a little bit.
It's not fun when you run for office.
They smear, they slander, they besmirch, all of which you've experienced.
But things are looking good.
We want it to stay that way.
If at any point we can help down the road, we're on Team Ted Budd.
We want you to win this race by the biggest margin possible.
Me too, because our country depends on it.
I got kids that I want to make it better for them than it was for me.
And I had a great growing up experience here on this barn, but I tell you what, we've got to protect this country.
I love North Carolina.
I love our country.
I know you do too.
So God bless you, Sean.
And I want to send your listeners to Tedbud.com, and I hope to earn their support.
And thanks for everything that you've already done.
We really appreciate you being with us.
We're going to keep our eye on your race for the next 12 days.
That's for sure.
Thank you for being here.
God bless.
Thanks.
You too.
800-941-Sean, you want to be a part of the program?
Let's say hi to Bill is in New York.
Bill, how are you?
Glad you called.
Hold it down the fort while I'm down here in paradise in the free state of Florida.
What's happening?
Thank you so much, Sean.
And thank you for all you and everyone that Fox does and bringing things to light that we all need to know.
Listen, over the past few months, observing Fetterman, it is so obvious that the man, he's hiding what I believe is a tumor on the posterior lateral portion of his right neck.
He's using the hoodie to constantly hide it.
When he doesn't have a hoodie, he's using one of those circular scarves to hide it.
You know, it's obvious that the stroke took care of the broca area of his brain where speech patterns have formed.
I just find it absolutely reprehensible that his people put him out there on stage.
They know what's going on.
Let me ask you, are you a medical doctor?
I am not a doctor, but as I always tell people, I play one in the operating room.
I've been in ORs and spine surgery for 25 years, neurosurgery for 25 years.
And my observation of him, even the other night, when they did take a shot from his right side, the lower portion of his neck, the right side of his neck, it almost looks inflamed and red.
Let me ask you, what are you doing inside of operating rooms?
What do you do?
I work for medical manufacturers and I'm in surgeries helping citizens learn the products and such implants.
But I just find it awful that they put the man forward and he obviously has a debilitating neurological deficit.
The most shocking thing here is Democrats are mad.
They're mad at loss, but they're more mad that they even put him out there.
In other words, they're mad that the people now got to see how bad his condition is.
They're angry that their fellow Democrats, quote, weren't smart enough to continue the big fraud and the big lie that he was healthy.
And that's what I feel bad for the man.
Listen, my opinion.
Because I know what he's looking at.
Down the road, mark me.
He will have a neurological event probably within the next three or four months.
You know, it's sad you say that.
Dr. Siegel said last night that he has a 23% chance of having another stroke.
And odds of survival beyond five years, another doctor told me the prospects are not good.
So for him, if you care about the guy personally, you know, why are you putting him in a situation that one would consider extraordinarily stressful for somebody that's healthy?
If you're not healthy, you know, but it's just frustrating to me because they don't care about him.
All they want is the seat.
All they want is the rubber stamp.
All they want is the vote.
They don't care about John Fetterman.
And people would say, well, you don't care about him, Hannity.
I care more about him than they do.
I mean, the idea that you're pushing this man that hard after a serious stroke with significant damage that is quite obvious and that you're only angry at the fact that it got exposed, that's where your level of anger is, that the deception was revealed.
That speaks volumes about the Democratic Party to me.
Anyway, I appreciate the call, my friend.
God bless you.
Check in with us again.
We look forward to it.
Quick break right back to the phones.
Toll-free 800-941-SHAWN, our number, if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, let's get back to our busy phones.
Let's say hi to Lydia in New York.
Lydia, how are you?
We have about 90 seconds.
Hi, Sean.
How are you?
It's a pleasure speaking with you.
Thank you.
Same for me.
So I just wanted to talk about that Hochol Zelda debate.
It's just like she had no answers for anything.
She really didn't answer any questions.
She has no plan.
And just from being in New Yorker my whole life, I live in Brooklyn.
I work in the city.
I've never been scared.
And now it's actually kind of scary because of the destruction that they cause.
It's just, you know, everything is like a number.
People are fleeing New York and it's a number, but, you know, people are leaving their jobs, their homes.
They're uprooting their kids and everything.
And it's scary for me as a mom now, too, you know?
Listen, it should scare you.
What's amazing to me, the worst answer any politician gave, and there's been a lot of bad answers given, when she turns to Lee Zelda, why do you care so much about this crime thing?
And I'm like, because people are dying, you idiot.
Turn on a television set.
You know, there's been 25 examples this year alone of people being pushed in front of trains in the subway system.
That shouldn't happen.
It should be safe.
It should be secure.
You have, you know, we're now going towards record levels in terms of violent crime in New York.
Never mind the theft.
I mean, you know, you can walk into a store, steal $950 worth of goods, walk out, and you don't even get a ticket or a court appearance.
Somebody robs a bank and they're released because of our idiotic no-bail law.
I mean, wake up.
And she wants to go have a listening tour.
Listen to what?
How about have a refund the police tour, eliminate this idiotic no-bail law that you're supporting and bring back law and order so people can be safe and secure and people are not getting thrown before trains every other day.
It's not that hard.
Anyway, I appreciate the call.
Holding them accountable.
Sean gets the answers no one else does.
America deserves to know the truth about Congress.
Hi, 25 to the top of the hour.
We'll get to your calls in a minute here.
You know, Joe Biden is out there.
All they do is lie.
Inflation is transitory.
Inflation is hit its peak.
Inflation is going away.
The economy is strong as hell, whatever they have to say.
Joe Biden, airline fees are unfair.
It's hitting the marginalized people of color the hardest.
And I'm like, no, Joe, your inflation, your record 41-year high of inflation is crushing the poor, the middle class, people on fixed income.
As a matter of fact, it's crushing 70% of the country, according to polls.
Wake up.
They just lie.
And you got his chief of staff, Ron Clain, out there.
He's touting the economy.
Inflation is easing.
Gas prices are down.
No, they're going back up.
The economy, we are making progress on the economy.
It's not just the GDP numbers you mentioned.
The economy did grow.
Inside that, as a measure of price, it came down dramatically.
We're seeing some easing on inflation.
Inside that also is a measure about real incomes after inflation.
That was negative last quarter, two quarters ago.
It's positive in this new report.
So incomes up, prices down, economic growth.
And the thing that's most visible to people is what they're seeing with gas prices.
You know, just two weeks ago, the most common pump price in America was $379.
It's now down to $339.
So our first message is we're seeing some improvements.
Secondly, we know there's more work to do.
Inflation remains the number one economic challenge.
What's the choice?
Republican leaders in Congress have said that if they get control of the Congress, they're going to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act, cut taxes for corporations, raise the deficit.
That'll make inflation worse.
Get rid of the cap on prescription drug costs that takes effect on January 1st.
Get rid of Benicare's ability to negotiate prescription drug costs.
That's going to make inflation and everyday costs worse.
And we all know the release of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a band-aid election year, midterm election year, you know, artificial reduction in prices just to get past the election.
And then, you know, you have Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, literally saying that Biden's trip to Saudi Arabia was not about oil.
The people that are contradicting Joe are the people in Saudi Arabia.
And remember, he was the one that was begging them not to announce that they were not only going to not grant his request to increase production of oil, but they were going to decrease production of oil.
So she's lying when she says this, but listen to what she said.
That our trip, that the president's trip to the Middle East, was not about oil.
What the president is focused on currently and today and has been for the past several months since the war started.
Remember, because of Russia's war, we have seen a spike in gas prices.
So as you hear us say, Russia's tax hike.
And so we have done everything that we can and continue to do the work the president has to lower the prices for the American people.
That's why you've got to get gas prices go down.
With the Saudis that the Saudis then backed away from?
Again, the trip was not about oil.
That is not what we went to do there.
It was about oil.
You got rejected.
Joe went to beg for oil.
And you say we're doing everything we can.
No, you're not, because we have more natural gas, more oil, more coal than all of these countries combined that he's been begging to increase production.
It's just one lie after another after another.
Republicans will make inflation worse.
No, they won't.
Their policies of energy independence alone will ease the inflationary pressures on the economy.
It's mind-numbing the ease with which they just outright lie.
Anyway, 12 days, you get to put an end to a lot of this.
And I hope you make the right decision.
Luke is in Pennsylvania.
By the way, if you're just tuning in, we have a new poll out today, Insider Advantage.
Dr. Oz has now overtaken Fetterman by three points, 4845, a winnable race.
Now, for people in Pennsylvania, it still means you have to vote.
That's only a poll.
The poll that matters is the poll on Election Day.
Anyway, Luke in Pennsylvania, what's up, Luke?
How are you?
I'm doing well, Sean.
You're a great American.
Thank you, my friend.
You're a great American.
What's going on?
Well, I saw bits and pieces of the debate the other night.
And I mean, John Fetterman is not an old man, but that would qualify as elder abuse to put him out there like that.
That was just terrible.
You know, I asked that question of Dr. Siegel and Dr. Sapphire last night.
If it was somebody in your family, somebody you loved and cared about, and that was the condition they were in, would you allow somebody you cared about to be put in that position?
And it's an overwhelming no.
And you have to wonder, in the case of Biden, in the case of Fetterman, where are the people in their lives that love them enough to say, you're not doing this.
You're not up to the task.
I'm having a hard time understanding that.
Well, as you know, Sean, politics is the religion of the left.
And as long as they get power, they don't care.
They'd put anybody in there.
And I honestly think that what they're trying to do is push him across the finish line and then hope that they win the governor's race and he'll retire and they'll get to appoint somebody to the seat.
I think that's what they're up to.
And if John Fetterman pays the price and embarrasses himself and is put in a position like that, they don't care.
That speaks volumes about the great Democrats, the party that claims to have a monopoly of compassion.
There's no compassion there.
Anyway, good call, Luke.
Appreciate it.
We go to Texas.
Sharon next on the Sean Hannity Show.
What's up, Sharon?
How are you?
Hi, Sean.
Thank you for taking my call.
I'm glad you're on this topic.
And, you know, you've been referring to how to Fetterman's family and how they should not allow him to be out there and exposed this way.
But it's an example of the difference in standards of people who run on the left in the Democrat Party, the socialist Democrat Party.
And it goes beyond his family.
It goes to the whole electorate that our whole electorate in our country has been so debased that we would even consider someone like him being put up there as a candidate on the public square to try to take part in a debate, which you cannot do.
And everybody knows it.
But it shows how low we have sunk down.
So we've got to pull up our bootstraps and get back up.
And we've got to pay attention to our standards.
Good grief.
What was one of our founders that was either Ben Franklin or Madison?
And he said that our Constitution requires an informed and moral electorate.
We've got to get back to our standards.
Let me tell you something.
If the guides and dictates of conscience were irresistibly obeyed, there'd be no need for any lawgiver.
That not being the case, governments are formed and government in its best state is but a necessary evil, in its worst state, an intolerable evil.
Thomas Payne, 1776.
We had pretty wise founders and framers in so many regards, but you're not allowed to teach that in public school today.
Anyway, Sharon, thank you.
Appreciate your good call.
800-941-Sean, if you want to join us, Linda is in Minnesota.
Linda, how are you?
Glad you called.
Hi, thanks for having me.
Thank you.
I've got a couple points.
You were talking about inflation.
I am calling from, I'm a small business owner, 28 years in a fishing resort in central Minnesota.
I have a little bar and restaurant, and I have big boats that take people fishing.
And you explain to me when you talk about inflation, I have a case of eggs that went from $15 to $64, a case of shortening, $32 to $66.
Hamburger has doubled.
How can anybody afford my prices in a restaurant?
Listen, I am totally with you.
I go food shopping every week, and I've done it for many years.
I don't know why I like to make my own food, especially during the week.
I don't only usually cheat when I'm out on the road like I've been lately, which I shouldn't be doing.
Or on weekends, I might have a cheap meal here or there.
But honestly, I see the prices, and I'm shocked.
And I don't know what people are doing to compensate for the high prices of everything because it's dramatically higher than when Donald Trump was president.
Everything we buy at every store we go to is costing us more.
Average family, it's $7,200 more for the same items a year because of Biden inflation.
Now, we have, you know, more than two-thirds of the country live in paycheck to paycheck as a result of this.
Yeah, which brings me to my next point.
Just I wanted to piggyback on the inflation thing.
But the other thing, calling from Minnesota, we are hoping our race is still close for the governor.
Our governor has aligned himself with New York, Michigan, California.
Our COVID lockdowns, I just don't want people to forget, and I don't want people to forget across the country.
And like you keep saying, please get out and vote.
And that's my main reason for the call is to continue to encourage people.
Minnesota is not a given.
Please, we are hoping for Jensen, for Dr. Jensen and Matt Burke to get in.
Just don't forget what Tim Wall did to our state during the prime COVID times.
And right now, as with most situations, we've got record crime.
And with most Democratic scandals, they just get swept under the rug.
We have $250 million missing on Governor Walls' watch.
$250 million for the Feed Our Future program.
Missing, gone.
And he can't answer a dozen questions.
I'm going to speak through you to anybody that is hearing me.
If you think that a race is not winnable, you've got to change your thought process.
Let's assume every race is in play.
And if it doesn't go our way in some places, okay, at least you tried.
But don't stay home thinking that, ah, it's Minnesota.
Our odds are low.
I don't know if we could win.
We could have won New Jersey last year if we paid more attention to it.
Glenn Young, you know, by every measure, Virginia's become a blue state.
And he won by a wide margin.
Every race is in play, but it's only going to be in play if you get up and get out and vote.
Now, if you're happy with the record inflation 41-year high, if you're happy with double the gas prices, if you're happy with wide open borders, if you're happy with, you know, defund, dismantle, no bail laws, if you're happy with woke education versus classical education, then vote Democrat.
But if you're sick and tired of all of this and know and understand we're better than this, we can do better than this, we will do better than this with new people in place, then get out and vote and do your part.
You know, I can't convey the urgency I feel, but I'm getting out and voting.
And in my case, I'm voting for Lee Zeldon for governor.
And I don't know if he's going to win.
I know it's an outside shot, but I'm going to give it my best shot.
I'm going to do my part.
Everybody do their part.
Whatever state, whatever city, whatever town you're in, do your part.
And there's not a single Democrat running anywhere that I would advise you vote for.
That simple for me.
Well, and I want to say, again, in Minnesota, if you're happy to have watched a beautiful city of Minneapolis burn, if you're happy to have gone to a playground with your grandkids or your children and been kicked off because you can't play outside during COVID.
How stupid is that?
I know.
That's no common sense.
And again, our Governor Walz has aligned himself with California, New York, Michigan, all of those extreme states are his playbook.
And so please, Minnesotans, wake up and get out.
You know, Dr. Jensen was one of the first whistleblowers.
He's the one that when the CDC started sending out suspicious letters like, we are now going to change how we classify deaths.
And Dr. Jensen's like, wow, we have had the same standards and set of rules for decades.
And now all of a sudden you're changing the rules.
And he took that letter to the people and he showed us to start asking questions and questioning what was going on.
And all of the might of Governor Walz and our attorney general came after that guy to try to take his medical license away.
And he beat it all because, of course, he was innocent, thank goodness.
Well, let me just, I don't have time to go further because we're just out of time, but I will tell you this.
If everybody had the passion that you had, Linda, we would win this in a landslide coast to coast.
I hope, people, I hope you'll do your part.
It is an inflection point for the country.
All right, that's going to wrap things up for today.
Hannity, tonight, a town hall from the free state of Florida.
We'll be joined by Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott.
Also, Governor Ron DeSantis will join us and his wife will join us as well.
All coming up, set your DVR.
Hannity on the Fox News channel.
Best election coverage on radio and television.
We'll see you tonight, back here tomorrow.
And tomorrow, it's only 11 days till the midterms.
Export Selection
