All right, news roundup Information Overload Hour, 800 941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, finally people are reacting to the outright lying and disinformation of the administration and the suggestion that the border is secure when everybody knows damn well that it's not secure.
Your DHS secomeland security secretary, Alejandro Mayorcis said, Oh, the border's secure, but there's work to be done.
No, the border's not secure.
The border is wide open.
You know, they have story after story in New York today.
And by the way, the border patrol, multiple border patrol agents are pushing back against this statement of Majorcus and his claim, you know, agents on the front lines of what is the worst migrant crisis in history and how they're struggling to cope with the overwhelming numbers facing them.
More than 207,000 migrant encounters in June alone, 235,000 in May, which is a record.
But anyway, Mayorcus is saying something that is just false.
This is on the heels of D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, you know, upset over the fact that Governor Abbott and others are sending these illegal immigrants to Washington, D.C., considering Joe's the one that's aiding and uh betting in the law breaking.
Let Washington, D.C. take care of it.
Let Delaware take care of it.
That's where Ron DeSantis is sending illegal immigrants in Florida.
Anyway, so they're now literally overwhelming the uh homeless shelters in New York.
They have no local ties whatsoever, all of them assisted by the Biden administration and dumped on these cities.
And now the administration we have a report out today with record high apprehensions, uh, they're hiding data on the number of illegal immigrants that are dying, trying to make this long, treacherous journey, uh, encouraged by the fact that Joe Biden is letting everybody in.
Anyway, here's Mayorcus lying to the American people.
Is the border safe now?
I was watching a news channel, and they were talking about an invasion was happening, and I got a little concerned.
Look.
Um the border, the border is secure.
The border, um, we are working to make the border more secure.
That has been a historic challenge.
Uh I have said to a number of legislators who expressed to me that um we need to address the challenge at the border before um they pass legislation, and I take issue with the math of holding the solution hostage until the problem is resolved.
Um there is work to be done.
Um when you safe and secure are two different words.
There are smugglers that operate um on the Mexican side of the border.
Um, and placing one's life in their hands is not safe.
Oh, then why are you processing and releasing?
Why did you stop the State of Mexico policy?
Uh, why did you stop building the border wall?
Why aren't you enforcing the laws of the land?
Because if anybody listening to this program right now was doing exactly what Mayorcas and Biden are doing, and that is aiding and abetting people entering the country illegally.
They would be arrested for aiding and abetting and assisting in crime.
And B, they'd be arrested and charged with human trafficking.
And maybe even worse.
Who knows?
Anyway, Mark Morgan is with us.
He was the former acting CBP commissioner, Heritage Visiting Fellow.
And anyway, he he has some breaking news on what happened in Uvaldi and the culpability of the Biden administration and the border crisis, he is arguing is playing a contributing role in terms of law enforcement and resources being uh available for other things.
But uh anyway, Mark Moore Morgan joins us now.
How are you?
Yeah, Sean, I'm doing great.
I'll tell you what, I I was listening to you and making notes of what you're just saying.
Uh and and your listeners need to understand everything you said just said, Sean, I I could not have said better myself.
You you are spot on on every single word, including this secretary is a blatant liar.
This man should be impeached, and I thought he is actually a danger to this country, Sean.
Well, I mean, he's just flat out lying.
And I, you know, they democra all the Democrats, all the media, they say, well, Donald Trump didn't tell the truth about this and then didn't tell the truth about that.
It it doesn't matter if you're a Democrat.
You can just say anything you want to say.
But the reality is, you know, and let me be very clear, Mark.
I support immigration.
I support legal immigration.
And I think there ought to be certain criteria that we have to protect our country.
Uh if you get one of the coveted positions to come into our country and we invite you in and and you can prove that you don't have radical ties or associations in the middle of a pandemic, I think that should require a health check as well.
I think you have to means test people.
They've got to be able to provide for themselves when they get here so they are not a burden on the American taxpayer, which really we frankly can't afford all of this.
Uh and then basically, if you meet that criteria, you go through the the legal process, then I don't care where you come from, welcome to America.
But it's got to be legal.
This is all illegal activity.
That's exactly right.
And I'll go uh no do I agree.
Uh uh, but I'll go a step further.
And and this is part of the false narrative of this administration open border advocates.
The truth is, this is why we say this is about border security, because when illegal immigration goes up and skyrockets to the highest it's ever been in our lifetime, our ability to secure borders go down.
We know eighty, ninety percent of auditory resources are pulled off the line and relegated to do administrative duties, hospital lots, security and processing.
That literally hands operational control of a large areas of border over the cartels, and they're exploiting that every single day.
You know, we talked about the drugs pouring in this country, killing more Americans than any other time.
We talked about the 900,000 known god aways, among them are murders, rapists, pedophiles, and gang members.
And now we just learned with the Uvalde shooting.
Another way that open border manifests itself into these second third order negative impacts is that in a three and a half month period, Uvaldi they had over fifty bailouts.
And that those those are those are vehicle pursuits that smugglers either intentionally or inadvertently crash, and everybody that's in the vehicle, they they bail out, they jump out and they run.
And so they had false alerts fifty times five zero in three and a half months.
And the report actually said that that in itself led to a lack of due diligence with respect to security alerts uh uh for allowed.
I mean, I might, for the first time that I can think of that you've been a guest on this program, might have a disagreement with you.
What's frustrating to me is you've got, you know, all of these officers standing around for an hour.
You have an active shooter situation, and I'm I'm friends with so many people in law enforcement, and I mean really good friends with them.
And these that is the moment that they've been training for their entire lives and career.
This this is what they do in moments of crisis.
In this particular case, you got an active shooter in a classroom, and and here you've got these guys, a lot of them all just standing around.
I you know, regardless of what resources might have been stretched in prior to this event.
I I I just can't come up with any rational explanation for why they didn't, you know, break down that door, get in that classroom and try to save those kids.
Well, so so I I'm not sure we're totally disagreeing.
What I was talking about is contributing factors.
And here's what we have to do is there are a lot of contributing factors.
What I think, because what we saw on video is we're really singularly focused on just the law enforcement response.
But I think this is a complex, complicated issue.
I mean, we know that there was leakage of this individual.
We know there were warning signs uh ignored.
We know uh about the mental health issue.
What about social media and what they should have done?
What about the accountability response uh of the parents?
You know, what about the fact that that they should have had a better fence?
What about that the doors weren't locked properly?
I mean, we could go on and on about all the contributor factors, and we should.
We should look at all those, including response by law enforcement.
But let's keep in mind, law enforcement made entry in less than three minutes.
That was that was unbelievably uh incredibly well done there.
The issue is then it slowed down.
Why?
Why did they transition from an active shooter to a barricaded subject?
Now he actually did barricade himself in, but there's a lot of questions we don't know.
There's a lot of miscommunication.
I need to know uh the on-seen commander, what did he know and when?
And how did he effectively communicate that to the individuals that were there?
I mean, there's still, even though this report answered some questions, there's still a lot of questions unanswered.
I hope what we don't is don't we we don't singularly vilify one individual or one group, must get the facts, and let's do this in a way to get better.
But Mark, you know this.
Um I mean, I'm always the guy that is supportive of law enforcement and law and order and safety and security and the police, etc.
Uh, but there are occasions when for whatever reason I I I cannot fathom why they did not race into that classroom.
It's I I just can't get there.
If you can get me there, try.
Please help me.
Maybe I'm missing something.
But I'm watching a time fly by.
You got an active shooter and you got kids in a classroom trapped.
Now, to me, that's a no-brainer.
You bang down the door and you go in guns blazing and you take out the sh you take out the shooter.
So it's it's Sean, it's not that simple.
Look, I I've been a SWAT operator, I was one for many years.
I've been involved in in just countless tactical situations.
And look, uh the alert training, the active shooter training, I know it well.
It part of the training that actually says if there's a change in circumstances, i.e.
shots have stopped firing and the subject barricades himself, you're supposed to slow down and re-evaluate.
That's exactly what happened initially.
Is they were for an hour?
No, no, no, hold on.
You uh you just give you two minutes, Sean, go with me just for a second here.
Not an hour.
The question is that he was barricaded, those doors are reinforced locked.
Remember, the police approach the door, they were shot out through the door.
Now the issue is right then they want to reassess because part of the issue I would be immediately if I was thinking is well, what what if there are uh kids on the other side still alive?
What if he has a kid that he's holding?
And because this has happened before, and you break entry without the right uh right resources there, then he could go ahead and shoot the remaining individuals that are there.
I don't even know if the officers immediately respond, knew that there were kids on the other side.
There's a lot of still we don't know.
Now the real question is the hour.
There was clearly a breakdown in the communication.
But again, there are still a lot of unanswered questions uh that that we have going forward that we need to to have addressed.
I said I want to give everybody the benefit of the doubt.
I believe in people being innocent before being proven guilty.
I don't believe in rushing to judgment.
I'm just for the life of me though, I look at that tape and I'm like, time is wasting.
And you know, if they needed to make a decision, that decision uh to me could have been made much faster, much quicker.
And it it would it take would it be risky?
Yeah, but it's risky leaving a group uh a classroom full of kids with an active shooter.
Um so at some point, you know, I'm I'm I'm just not exactly sure uh I uh we'll see as the evidence comes out, but it's gonna take a lot of convincing for me uh to justify that period of time where nothing was happening and they're just standing around.
Yeah, so so the question is like one question I have is those initial officers for a certain period of time.
Did they know that there were kids inside the classroom?
Do we know that for sure?
Well, we know that there are parents outside telling them that there were kids in the classroom because the kids were communicating with their parents.
But but there were parents that that had kids all throughout that school.
The question is that specific area where the shooter was.
I I mean, those are the type of questions that are.
But parents remember they showed up and they said, My daughter is in the classroom With this guy.
So that they ascertained that pretty quickly.
Well, I I don't know about the timeline, but the question is was that communicated to the incident command?
And then was that communicated to the officers on site?
Those are the kind of questions.
So we I mean, we need to attack the process.
And we need to find out exactly what happened before we start vilifying individual officers.
Look, Sean, I'm not here trying to defend anybody.
I'm trying to defend the process.
And what we've seen time and time again, I'm not saying you're doing this.
You're asking a question.
But but let's let's not go from speculation to condemnation until we get all the facts.
There are clearly issues here.
There are things that did not go right that must not happen again.
But before we vilify folks, let's make sure that we've got the complete set of facts.
That's all I'm saying.
Quick break more with Mark Morgan, former acting CBP commissioner and heritage visiting fellow.
Look, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police officer James Kennelly, he passed away in 2017 due to 9-11 related cancer that he developed from his search and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center.
This has happened to many people following the terrorist attacks.
Now the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, they're committed to ensuring America keeps its vow to never forget 9-11, keep the memory of heroes like Officer Kennelly alive.
The foundation's 9-11 Never Forget Mobile exhibit, by the way, is a tribute to all of those people that lost their lives that day, who have or who have died since from uh related illnesses being on ground zero without the proper equipment.
It's a high-tech tractor trailer.
It transforms into a museum.
Uh they've already been to nearly all 50 states and Canada, and they're welcomed around the nation.
Memorial provides this memorial provides interactive education, guided tours.
FDNY firefighters give firsthand accounts of that day, the aftermath to over what, so far over 600,000 people.
Now, when it visits a city near you, you might want to go stop by and and learn and see it for yourself and to do good and never forget.
Of course, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is asking all of us.
I'm committed to it myself.
$11 a month.
The letter T, the number two, the letter T.org is their website, the letter T, the number two, the letter T dot org for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Uncovering evil and defending the truth.
You're on the Sean Hannity Show.
Music All right, we continue our discussion about Ubaldi with Mark Morgan, former acting CBP commissioner, Heritage Visiting Fellow.
I I'm just trying to put myself in the mindset, knowing that there are kids in that school, knowing there's an active shooter, knowing that this this long protracted period of time is going on, and they're virtually doing nothing.
And uh somebody's gonna have to come up with a very good explanation for that.
Here to four, that's not been forthcoming from the police.
And if anything, you know, I think initially they said that they had reacted very quickly.
We were we were lied to from the get-go.
That that bothers me also by representatives of the department.
I don't know specifically who, but um look, I I I hope you're right.
I hope there's a a real rational explanation for why they did what they did or did what they didn't do.
Um, and Sean, I think we we we should be asking these questions.
And and again, the the that we need answers.
What I'm saying is we don't have the complete answers.
This is what I know, though.
In my heart of hearts, because I've been there.
The these officers did not wake up in the morning and going, hey, look, I'm just gonna stand around and not do my job.
I I don't think their intention was to do anything but that what officers do.
I just have never seen a case like this.
And knowing that that people are trained specifically, this department was trained specifically uh not not long uh prior to this incident for the for these particular situations.
And if there's a breach like this, they go in.
That is usually pro standard protocol with all the proper equipment to protect themselves as best as possible.
It's still risky.
Uh but anyway, Mark, we have to let you go.
We always appreciate you being on the program.
Thank you.
Uh 800-941 Sean is on number if you want to be a part of the program.
Holding them accountable.
Sean gets the answers, no one else does.
America deserves to know the truth about Congress.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
We'll get to your calls here in a second.
I gotta run two issues by Linda, though, ahead of time.
I bet you didn't hear there's a Michigan woman.
She's suing a man for $10,000.
Do you know why?
I do not.
He failed to show up for a date.
Claim she's claiming he deliberately and intentionally hurt her and then got into a furious screaming match with a judge over Zoom.
She's suing the guy for $10,000 because he didn't show up for the date, stood her up.
But she didn't show up for court.
She did it over Zoom.
He should sue her for bringing it to the court.
All right, so she's she's suing for intentional infliction of emotional distress in the court of Judge Herman Maribold Jr., according to TMZ.
The suit was filed back in 2020, and she says he didn't show up, left uh on her mother's birthday, and her mom had just passed away, claiming he had intentionally deliberately hurt her by doing so.
Anyway, the Zoom court hearing quickly went off the rails when she began yelling at the judge and refusing to answer the judge's questions.
Maybe that's why the guy didn't show show up.
He didn't want to get yelled at.
I'm just guessing.
I mean, there's probably it's probably a good reason why she's single.
There seems to be a lot of uh lot of uh information.
I mean, how long did it take her to get ready?
I mean, listen, if she bought a new outfit, right?
That's her problem.
Some new makeup.
She she you know what?
She should be thanking her lucky stars that that she found out now and not later that this guy was a creep.
I have a girlfriend.
I I have a girlfriend.
This is a terrible story.
And she just said this to me last week.
She said that she was talking to this guy, and they had talked like, I don't know, for like a few weeks, and they finally decide they're gonna go out.
Okay, fine.
So they go out, they go to this four-star restaurant, she's dressed up, he's dressed up, great conversation.
He's telling her about his job, all the usual first date stuff.
Okay, fine.
So then he gets up, go in the bathroom, I'll be right back, never comes back, stiffs her with a bill, doesn't come back to the table, she never hears from him again, changes the number, total scam.
And clearly, this is like a thing that is going on.
Look, some of these guys are just jackasses.
I mean, if you're gonna break a date, have the decency to call or text and say, sorry, I'm just not gonna be able to make it.
That's not how it works.
Everybody ghosts everybody now.
It's like uh I don't want to deal with it.
I'm not, you know, but I'm not a girlfriend.
I think it's look, I'm old fashioned.
I think that's disrespectful.
It is disrespectful.
It's not $10,000 worth, but it's not a good thing.
That's not something you sue over.
No.
Listen, we live in a very strange time where people are suing for all kinds of stupid stuff.
It happens every single day.
You know, there's a reason why insurance is so high because people are out of their minds, they're sue happy.
It's been going on for 20 years.
I do, however, think she's probably a little off.
I don't know her.
I didn't see the story.
But when you go into a courtroom, you're supposed to be respectful to the judge.
And I think if you start screaming at the judge, odds are you're gonna lose.
Probably never should have been in the room in the first place.
I uh to me, I think she's probably lucky in the city.
Lucky for what?
He's lucky.
He probably talked to her one time, was like, I can't go there.
She's insane.
What whatever.
So he decided not to go.
I mean, uh, but I think the fact that he was rude and didn't call her, he should have at least called her.
That would have been the nice respectful thing to do.
He doesn't have to go out on a date with somebody, but it would have been respectful, but it's not mandatory.
What'd she say to the judge?
And then she started yelling at the judge.
What'd she say?
I think Dave Chappelle is funny as hell.
Agreed.
I think so, you know, you do know the guys that I like.
I've like Foxworthy and and Larry the Cable guy.
They're all buddies of ours.
And I love Chris Rock, and I love Dave Chappelle.
I think these guys are so funny.
And I think one of the things that makes them funny is there's no holds barred.
They say anything.
And the point is, so now he was supposed to give a show Wednesday night last night, uh, in Minneapolis.
Then at the last minute, they moved from one venue to another venue from a First Avenue venue to the varsity theater.
The first avenue venue cited a backlash to the comedian's appearance as the reason for their abrupt cancellation.
And they put out a statement.
They said, We hear you.
We're sorry.
We know we must hold ourselves to the highest standards.
We know we let you down.
We're not just a black box with people in it.
We understand that First Avenue is not just a room, but meaningful beyond our walls added the theater uh in a message directed to staff, artists, and our community.
The First Avenue team and you have worked hard to make our venues the safest places, sp I'm sorry, safest spaces in the country, and we will continue with that mission.
We believe in diverse voices and the freedom of artistic expression, but in honoring that we lost sight of the impact this would have.
We know there are some who will not agree with this decision, and we welcome you to send feedback.
Now, excuse me.
Everybody knows Dave Chappelle is irreverent, iconoclastic, funny, and if you don't want to go to a comedy show, comedians should have total free, fair game.
They should go after everything and everybody.
I do not understand why if you don't like a comedian, you don't have to buy the ticket.
You don't have to show.
Nobody's forcing you to go to the theater.
You know, the ID, we hear you, we're starting.
And the the biggest lie in this statement is that they support freedom of artistic expression.
No, they don't.
Because they gave in to the woke mob and they canceled Dave Chappelle.
Thankfully he was able to get another venue, and I guess everything went fine.
I didn't hear otherwise.
And and he did his thing.
He did his routine.
You know, he did this whole Netflix.
You know, he's been doing this Netflix series, and he did a whole thing about I I don't hate trans people.
I do jokes.
That's what he does.
And he's not allowed to make a joke about this topic or that type.
You know, that's and at some point it gets so restrictive, we might as well put tape around the comedian's mouth and tell them to shut up and not say anything.
Then we won't laugh at all anymore.
When did we lose the ability to laugh at ourselves?
And if you're that offended by words, you don't have to go.
You don't have to watch the TV show.
You don't have to listen to the radio.
Except if it's my show, three hours a day every day is all I ask.
One hour TV at night doesn't have too much to ask among friends.
But in all seriousness here, what happened to the fr the if liberals want freedom of choice?
Okay, don't take my choice away.
Because I think he's funny.
He makes me laugh.
Yes, he's irreverent as hell.
And and I've said this before.
You know what?
Comedians have attacked me on stage.
Bill Maher has attacked me over the years many times.
I don't care what Bill Maher says about me.
I hope it's funny.
Just make it funny.
I'm Irish.
You want to say, oh, an Irish seven-course meal is a six-pack and a potato.
I don't care.
I'm not offended.
I'm not going to feign this this oh indignation and outrage, sort of like the media mob with Donald Trump.
Oh, the vapors, Donald Trump.
He said we're the enemy of the people.
This is dangerous.
Oh my gosh.
I used to look at stuff on Twitter, memes that people very creatively put together, just mocking me, making fun of me.
And I I'd often laugh at it.
It's funny.
These people are I don't know they need to get a life, but they're funny.
Some of them are funny.
Katie and I were talking about it today because I was obviously reading the news on it and watching the updates on it.
And the one thing that, you know, I said was so the argument they're making is that they they work there.
So they are forced to, you know, hear this and it's offensive to them and this, that, and the other thing.
But the problem go get another job.
No, not even that.
Not even that.
First of all, you're supposed to be accepting of people's artistic expression, whatever that happens to be.
And people are allowed to like and dislike whatever they want.
But you work for an establishment that's going to have all sorts of artists on the stage.
People you like, people you don't like.
That's just part of your job.
I mean, when you work somewhere, you don't get to dictate what's happening unless you own the company.
So if you're working there and you are an employee, then your job is to fulfill your duties in whatever capacity you were hired for.
It has nothing to do with you giving your personal opinion on what is actually going on on stage.
And so now these people that work there have lost three sold-out shows.
So obviously, his appeal is wide and far reaching.
They sold out all the shows.
He's moved it to another place.
It's gonna happen anyway, and you've lost the revenue because you're capitulating to these woke individuals who think that they have a right to silence that that they don't agree with, which is so you're only gonna have these watered down, sanitized, woke politically correct comedians that are not gonna be funny.
Think about Sean, think about John Rivers.
Think about Richard Pryor.
Think about George Clark.
He's so good at stand-up.
Thank you.
All right, that's gonna wrap things up for today.
