Hi, News Roundup Information Overload Hour, 800-941-SHAWN, our number if you want to be a part of the program on this Friday.
We spent a good part of the last hour bringing you inside the courtroom of the Sussman trial with Donald Trump's attorney and, of course, the analysis of Greg Jarrett, pericard.
Probably the guy that knows as much or more than anybody about this case is Devin Nunes.
You might remember who is the head of the House Intel Committee, and he knows every detail top to bottom about this.
Now the revelation today that in fact uh Robbie Mook on the stand said, uh, yeah, I was with uh Jennifer Palmeri and and Jake Sullivan.
Yeah, that Jake Sullivan that is now working for Biden uh and Mark Elias and John Podesta, and we all talked about uh whether or not we should go with this dirty Russian disinformation dossier.
Uh, but I had to check with Hillary Clinton, and I uh went outside the room and I called Hillary Clinton and she gave the okay.
That's something well we didn't quite expect.
And then you have the whole Pfizer warrant issue, which is they used the dirty dossier, which Andrew McCabe admitted without a the dirty dossier, there wouldn't have been an approval of the FISA warrants.
Then they use the Pfizer warrants, uh the dirty dossier to get the Pfizer warrants to do the spying.
And nobody really has been held accountable in all of this.
Let me let me play Jonathan Turley's take on this, and then I'm gonna play you a little bit of James Baker, and then we're gonna get Devin Nunes' take.
Durham faces a lot of challenges in this trial.
The judge in the trial has hit the prosecution with limiting orders.
Uh this jury pool is a nightmare for the prosecutors.
Uh, there's three Clinton donors on the jury, and just in the last 24 hours, the judge turned down a motion to dismiss a juror whose daughter is actually playing on the same team with the daughter of Sussman.
So I think for the prosecutors, it seems like the only thing that is missing on the jury is Chelsea Clinton.
I mean, it it you know, a jury of your peers is not supposed to mean other Clinton people.
And so I think that the prosecutors have quite a challenge with this pool.
So I don't even think it's I I don't think it's surmountable.
I'll be that blunt.
They don't belong on the jury.
Now, Andrew um, I'm sorry, uh the general counsel, James Baker.
He was under oath testifying this week, and he said that when he met with Sussman, uh it didn't ring true what he was saying to him, and he said he dismissed it inside of a day, but then he later at a later date knew damn well it was the foundation for the FISA application uh to spy on Carter Page and backdoor the Trump campaign.
Listen to what he said in 2019.
So what is your view of the way the d the FBI interacted with Steele and how we should understand what his role was here?
Well that's a big question.
So um look, the investigation was not predicated on the basis of the information that Christopher Steele gave to us in the form of the dossier.
That is just not was not my understanding at the time and has never been my understanding.
So just to say that flat out.
Uh Steele at the time, my understanding was that he was thought to be A reliable source that had a had had a prior relationship with the FBI and brought this information to us.
Look, with I don't know how to say this other we're not stupid.
Right?
The FBI.
We're not stupid.
You take the information and you try to vet it.
And that my recollection is we spent a lot, we, the bureau, uh, the folks in the counterintelligence division spent a lot of time trying to vet that information line by line.
Now, he said on the on the stand um and testified about all of this that their analysis of the FBI, especially the data on the Alpha Bank Trump organization servers.
Remember that charge that was made?
Um, you know, that was given by Suspin that they dismissed that part of it in a day, and that Trump organization's ties to the Kremlin didn't ring true.
Um so he has a lot more questions that he has to answer regarding all this.
Anyway, Devin Nunes is with us.
He's no longer a congressman.
He's been promoted, thank God.
He has a much more honorable profession.
He is the CEO of Truth Social, that is the Trump Media and Technology Group, which by the way, you can now get their app on any device, uh, any desktop, uh, which is a huge tech technological advancement for them.
Uh congratulations, number one.
Number two, um, if my staff is nice to me, they said uh they might let me put it on my phone one day.
Well, Sean, you need it on your phone, and your team's doing a phenomenal job.
You have, I think you're over a million followers, one point two million.
So you're just you're just crushing it.
But you know, that was interesting testimony.
Uh you know, that was uh I assume that was an interview that you that you just played.
Correct.
And it really does raise more questions because the whole idea that these cats in the FBI didn't use the dossier is nonsense.
It's the only thing they had.
And in fact, they had to have been in on all of it.
So remember, it was one of the Lovebirds struck, who essentially you know, and we now know this because things that have now been declassified thanks to judicial watch.
He wrote that communication himself.
He wrote it, he approved it, and they did it.
So what's really happening here today is that we have for the first time now, the rats are running off the ship, and you clearly saw that Mook, the former campaign manager, wants nothing to do with this, and he for the first time we now know direct evidence that Hillary Clinton was briefed on at least the Alpha Bank process.
Now, my guess is she was fully briefed on the whole operation.
And let me just and you know, why why did this happen?
Why did why did all this happen?
What was the purpose of it?
If you if you if everyone goes back in time, remember when everyone was running around looking for the and you know this better than anybody, Sean, because I think you you talked about it for so long.
Everyone was looking for the destroyed Hillary Clinton emails that dated back to her Benghazi scandal.
And I believe that they all knew that the Russians, the Chinese, somebody had those emails, they were nervous as hell that those were gonna surface.
And that's why they concocted this whole damn thing.
It was essentially not just the it was kind of the cherry on top to use and and smear Trump.
It was just kind of something that they could that they could use, and of course, after the election, they really went at it.
But I think the real reason you were alluding to it, Sean, was to do what?
It was to spy on the Trump campaign, their opponent to see if it was possible if the Trump campaign had somehow come up with those emails that would be definitely would do in the Clinton campaign if some of those emails surfaced, which by the way, we've never seen them.
And they must be really bad, whatever the hell was on that, whatever's around those servers.
Um it's too bad that you will never we'll never know.
I I don't know about you.
I'd never heard of Bleach bit before this that whole mess came down.
And you know, then of course we have missing sim cards, and then of course we have uh aides of hers taking hammers to cell phones and busting them in little pieces.
Uh I gotta believe that in fact um uh that was done probably to cover something up, but you know, I've I was kind of born suspicious uh uh Devin because I was born in New York.
Um where I come from, somebody does something that extreme.
There's usually a good reason behind it.
Well, yeah, exactly.
There for them to go to that yeah, for them to destroy it like they did, the server like they did.
And for them to be running this offshoot server, I can't, wasn't it being run out of like Colorado or somewhere with some company, I think, as I recall.
And but look, this is this was a really began a a really dark chapter in American history that started in late fifteen, early sixteen, all because Hillary Clinton was doing something illegal, hit it up, God only knows what exists on those emails, and then they use this and our intelligence agencies, the FBI, to go and spy on the campaign.
And that's look, that's really at the at the end of the day here.
Um it kind of appears just you know, and this is it's tough to say because you you're kind of reading the tea leaves of what we're getting out of the court, but it appears like the Clinton campaign are trying to distance themselves from Sussman uh from uh from the uh you know, from fusion GPS that they paid.
It it kind of seems like that.
It seems like Mook really threw threw them under the bus.
It seems like Baker is, you know, he now has miraculously has a you know perfect recollection of everything that that happened.
Um, you know, the problem for all of them is is that you know what we all know, um, with you know, through circumstantial evidence, is they were all in on it.
So the only question is is whether or not they're going to bring down the hammer and get the people upstream, and that's what Durham has to do here.
And I think what Mook said today gets them uh a little bit farther down that down that track or up that uh you know up the stream there to other to other people that should be indicted.
Now, I think what Jonathan Tirley said in that interview is exactly right.
You really have to question, and I won't repeat it all, but you have to question the judge that's involved in here, his relationship, you know, his last relationship.
I'll tell you what, if I'm ever gonna I I want this judge as long as he's gonna allow me to pick my best friends and put them on the jury.
That I'd I'd really love that if it was happening to me.
Yeah, yeah.
What did Treley say that uh that you might as well have Shelsey?
The only one they're missing on there is Chelsea Clinton.
No, I mean, can you imagine you got three Clinton donors and and you got uh uh uh one juror that's child is on the same team as the guy that's on trial here.
I mean, this is madness.
It it it is badness.
I mean, can you imagine?
I mean, I you know, I've always said, you know, I've I've of course I never would get would get picked with for juries because the defense always kicked me out.
Um, but I was in kind of enjoyed going through the process when I was able to go through the process.
But I mean, you know, people get you know, you could be a you know, three people removed from from the defendant and people would get kicked out of the jury pool.
I mean, here you have a direct relationship, but that juror had to know that, and so th I mean, this is the problem i in DC.
And I and I think I said this on your show the other night.
If Sussman was indicted anywhere but Washington, DC, this guy would have pled guilty.
He would have pled guilty or uh, you know, he would have been, you know, he would have disappeared from the from the planet somehow.
I mean, there's uh this guy uh, you know, should be he he's willing to serve up to five years in prison to cover for all these uh characters that that clearly were all involved in this conspiracy.
And Durham's got a hell of a hell of a uh tough row to hoe here.
Well, I I don't think he can get a guilty verdict on Sussman here with this jury poll.
I just don't.
I think the deck is stacked against the the prosecution, and they'll say, See, even even Durham is wrong, and that's not gonna be the case.
Uh I think any fair-minded individual, by the way, I w I wouldn't even want a Trump person on this jury.
That would be inappropriate to me as well, just to be clear.
All right, quick break right back more with Devin Nuna, CEO of Truth Social on the other side, and then your calls as we continue.
Hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hammond.
And I'm Carol Markovitz.

All right, we continue.
Devin Nunes is with us, CEO of Truth Social, also former House Intel Committee chair.
Let me just shift gears for a second here.
I only have a minute or two with you.
I'm really happy for you.
I'm happy about the success of Truth Social.
We really need this platform to work and work well because, look, like every other conservative, shadow banning, suspensions, canceling accounts, all that happened to conservatives.
That's not going to happen at Truth Social.
Tell us a little bit of uh in the 90 seconds we have left about it.
Well, it's amazing what's happening.
You know, uh already you're getting much more interaction on truth, and you have been now for for really even even before we opened.
Even though I have nearly six million Twitter followers, I have one point two on truth, and I get more interactions on truth than I do on Twitter.
Yes, and and that and it's not just you.
It's it's it's it's nearly everyone.
And you know, that's happening for two reasons.
One, yes, you were being shadow banned, right?
And I think for Instagram, Instagram's different than Twitter.
And remember, what we're trying to do is we're trying to take the best of all these social media companies and put it onto one platform that cannot be canceled.
So you have on on one hand, I believe on Instagram and Facebook, conservatives are still being shadow banned.
But but Instagram does have real users.
I think what's happening between what Truth Social is doing and Elon Musk uh kind of dipping his toe into the water, getting involved in Twitter, what it's exposed is that what what I've been saying for a long time is you know, Twitter is basically a big bot farm.
And it's a it's a PR wire for celebrities and Hollywood people and political people to post, but for a long time they've gotten away uh with inflated numbers.
And and and it's obvious by just the the performance and the interaction that people like you are seeing on a platform, Sean.
That look, we were we've been on Apple.
You you you've been able to get on Apple for a month.
And here we are.
You've put this is only day three that you can go through your web browser, TruthSocial.com and sign up.
And how is it possible that people are getting more?
By the way, it's absolutely free in case people don't know that.
Exactly.
Exactly.
So look, that's the proof.
It's very interesting to watch.
Um and look, it's you're right.
Uh this is look, this is going to be a successful company because we are not like the we're we're taking what Truth Social Truth Social is doing what Facebook and others were six, seven, eight years ago before they started all this crap and censoring.
So people are I want to say one last thing, and people can just go to TruthSocial.com or download it in the app store.
Um happy for you, but uh on the other hand, everything you said about Russia collusion and it being a conspiracy theory and a hoax turned out to be true.
Everything the congenital liar Adam Schiff said turned out to be lies.
When does he ever get held accountable after like 10 seconds?
Well, he represents Hollywood, Sean, and that's uh I think that says it all in a nutshell, right?
That'd be the guy.
He has no business being on the Intel committee, in my view, in light of uh all the leaking, but that's a different issue for a different day.
Devin Nunesk, CEO of Truth Social, thanks for being with us.
We appreciate it.
Uh when we come back, we'll hit the phones for our final half hour this Friday, 800-941 Sean is on number if you want to join us.
Quick break right back.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
Before I get to your calls here, I want to play some things um from the Interior Secretary as she dodges a very simple question about high gas prices.
Do you think gas prices are too high?
Uh this is the Interior Secretary, Deb Holland answering.
Do you believe that gas prices are too high?
Senator, I completely understand the crunch that so many Americans are under right now.
I think that they're that Americans are still recovering From this terrible pandemic, and there are a lot of other world um events that are making things difficult for all of us.
So it sounds you're unwilling to say that gas prices are too high.
Because if you thought they were too high, I mean I just wonder what your department has actually done specifically to lessen this terrible pain that Americans are suffering under these high gas prices.
We're doing um all we can, Senator.
Then she can't explain to Joe Manchin a memo from her department calling for the shutdown of new oil leases.
Listen to this.
If I may, real quickly, Secretary Helen, I don't know, you all just put out a statement.
The U.S. Department of Interior just put out a statement.
And the statement basically says a proposed program is not a decision to issue specific leases or to authorize any drilling or development.
This is from Y'all's office.
So it looks like you're all on shut everything down.
Did you know you're all put this down?
I I am I am sorry.
I I am sitting in this hearing and and not somebody it shuts it down.
Chairman, what I could say is is I I believe what that is saying is that it's the plan that's coming out.
But the authority is what you're prefacing it by saying after you you're you're acknowledging the plan, you'll have a plan by June 30th, but you went further to say that doesn't mean that you're issuing any specific leases.
If you have a plan, you should have.
I mean, we've never done this.
This is the first this is history.
We've never done that before, not listen not issue leases if you put a plan out.
The plan's always been a long-term five-year plan to lease.
Then we have Jennifer Granholm, the one ho ho hoo.
What are you going to do to lower gas prices?
Well, it's run by a cartel, and uh, we're not a part no.
We were energy independent until they took over.
And so she's testifying to Josh Hawley that Putin, not Biden, are to blame for the rise in energy costs.
We have proven that with graphs to be a total complete lie, and testifying that gas prices increased because people were driving again, which increased demand.
That's another lie.
Because prior to that, we had energy independence under Donald Trump.
And then Hawley gets in there grilling her about what the administration is going to do to lower gas prices.
It's killing the American people and their pocketbooks.
On top of, of course, of course, the stock market tanking.
It's been a disaster of a week, and everybody's 401ks is getting killed, and everyone's net worth is dropping.
Home prices now uh are dropping because of rising interest rates.
The entire economy is headed for a stall, and now we're promised by the end of August, the national average of a gallon of gasoline is going to be six bucks a gallon.
Listen to these answers here.
I'm sure you've seen the reporting this morning that now triple A is projecting that gas prices will hit a national average.
Average of six dollars a gallon by the month of August.
Is this acceptable to you?
No, it is not.
And you can thank the activity of Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine and pulling us.
Oh, nonsense.
With all due respect, Madam Secretary, that's utter nonsense.
In January of 2021, the average gas price in my state was two dollars and seven cents.
Eight months later, eight months later, long before Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine, that price was up over 30 percent.
And it's been going up consistently since.
What are you doing to reverse this administration's policies that are drawing down our own supply of energy in this country that are throttling oil and gas production in the United States of America?
What are you doing about it?
With respect, sir, it is not administration policies that have affected supply and demand.
Madam Secretary, are you telling me under oath that these policies had no effect?
I'm telling you that 94% of the oil and gas industry.
I'm not interested in their opinion.
I'm interested in the facts.
So no, they did not.
That is a remarkable statement about the increase in demand and the decrease in supply from pulling Russian barrels of oil off the market, thanks to rightly the United States saying we're not going to take Russian oil.
Coming out of COVID.
So what explains the increase between January and August of 2021?
Coming out of COVID, there was an increase in demand because people were driving again.
When there was no demand, the prices dropped.
That is a basic law of economics.
The prices dropped.
I have to say, Madam Secretary, with all due respect, your answers are insulting.
And they are insulting to the people of Missouri who are looking for action.
It's unbelievable.
I've been saying this.
They care more about their climate alarmist religious cult and New Green Deal radical socialism than they do about we the people.
Just a fact.
And they're proving it all every single day.
Uh Paul is in Oregon.
Paul, how are you?
You're on the Sean Hannity show.
Hi, Sean.
How are you doing?
I'm good, man.
Happy Friday.
Happy Friday.
You know, last uh November seven uh November November 8th, I shared how the Dow.
Just under one year of the Trump administration gained 60% of what it grew in eight years under Obama.
But today, 16 months to the day Biden took office, the Dow is exactly where it was.
No gain and only loss is in store for us.
Well, uh it sounds to me like you do this for a living or or certainly very well versed in this.
Are uh are you a broker?
Do you work in finances in some way?
No, I am not.
I'm I'm a graphic designer and uh graphic designer that looks at the market that is watching your your stocks go to the record lows, and I'm probably I'm betting you're enjoying every minute of it, aren't you?
I I am and my four but but at the same time my 401k is going down and I can't.
I'm being facetious.
Of course, this is really hurting people.
Five thousand to six thousand dollars, Biden inflation is costing the average American household.
If you drive a car, you're gonna pay two thousand dollars more for gasoline this year over last year because of his idiotic energy policies.
And you know what?
People can't afford it.
This is transforming this economy into the greatest best hope for mankind on earth, and it's turning it into an an absolute Adam Schiff show, and it's hurting the American people.
I am angry at this point because all of this was preventable.
If he didn't artificially reduce the supply of oil and gas in on the world market, it is the lifeblood of the world's economy, and now he's doing deals with uh Venezuela trying to do a deal with Iran, sucking up to OPEC, and we're paying the price for this stupidity, this adherence, this this cult like adherence to this climate alarmism.
We have the answer.
It'll lower inflation, it'll uh it'll eliminate dependence on on hostile nations for our energy.
It will create high paying jobs, it'll literally fix almost every problem we have, but it's gonna take time because they screwed it up so bad.
And all of this is preventable.
You know, I I I I go back and people say, well, Hannity, you can afford it.
Yeah, but I I went many, many, many, many years of my life where I struggled financially.
It sucks.
It's not fun.
And now Americans, two-thirds of Americans now are living paycheck to paycheck.
And I know what it's like, and it's not fun, and there's great anxiety and and concern and outright worry over all of this.
Then we got a pandemic, you know.
Oh, I'll I'll kill off the virus.
Yeah, well, we have the next wave, it's all over the country now again.
And by the way, please everybody remember the name Monoclonal Antibodies Ask Your Doctor.
It's it's frustrating, Paul, because it's all preventable.
Anyway, have a good weekend.
Brian in New York, what's up, Brian?
How are you, my friend?
How are you doing, Sean?
Big fan.
Glad to find out.
Thanks, man.
What's going on?
How are you?
Oh, you're it what do you oh it says you're a fire?
You're a fireman.
I am a fireman.
Fifteen years in the pr uh career side, five years as a volunteer before that.
Wow.
So when do you get to retire?
Five or five years.
By the way, you're gonna hate me.
So I have a lot of friends that are firemen, and I'm such a jerk.
We we always kid each other, right?
So I said, let me get this straight.
You work twenty-four hours straight, then you're off for two, three days, depending on which part of the the shift aspect in your c in your work schedule is.
And then I'm like, and if you're in a very slow firehouse, you get something called rack time where you guys get to sleep and you're still getting paid.
And then you have the best cooking available on in mankind.
The firehouse cooking is notorious for being phenomenal.
And they tell me about all these elaborate meals they all make, etc.
etc.
And I'm I so I like to give rib them.
And then they're like, where were you on 9-11, Hannity?
I'm like, good point.
You earned every penny.
Um, but we it's all done in good fun, I promise you.
No, absolutely.
As a firehouse cook, I can I can I can vouch for that.
It's all true.
No, I'm I'm actually jealous, but I gotta tell you, I will say this.
God bless you for what you do.
I pray for you and your family.
Your job is extremely dangerous, and we can never forget all those first responders, all those firemen when the twin towers were hit, everybody else is racing down to get the hell out of there, and they're going up.
And they're going up knowing that their lives are likely over.
And they did it anyway.
That is that defines the heroism of what you do.
Thank you, brother.
Anyway, what's on your mind today?
So I'm in New York, and I know you know, I listen every day, and you know, what are we doing in New York?
And I have to just say, me and my wife built on our an amazing life.
We both nailed down our dream jobs.
We have a beautiful home.
We have a beautiful family with two boys.
And I gotta be honest, Sean.
I I'm not leaving, and I'm certainly not leaving at the behest of these misanthropic psychopaths who who come up with these radical agendas to try to push people like me and you out of the state.
I'm not leaving.
I'm staying to fight for it.
And I'm hoping that people like you and your colleagues at Fox and your colleagues at Patriot Radio and Sirius XM, I'm I'm hoping they can rally voters in November.
You know, look, I'm not giving up on any state.
I knew when I interviewed Caitlin Jenner, I even said it in the interview.
When I interviewed Larry Elder, I even said it to him.
I I think most people in California, even though for the first time that in 170 some odd years, people more people are leaving California than coming into the state.
And I lived out there, it's a beautiful state, but you don't want to live there because of the burdensome regulation, taxation.
I mean, they have destroyed uh one's ability to make money.
Same with New York.
Um, I see in New York, we almost we almost saw uh a huge miracle in New Jersey, and Murphy nearly got thrown out on his ass where he belongs.
And I'm seeing here, Lee Zeldon is within the margin of error.
The problem with New York, New Jersey, California, and some other states is so many people, there's been a mass exodus.
They're going to Tennessee, they go into the Coral Carolinas, they're going to Texas, they're going to Florida, you name it.
And that that that reduces the pool of potential people that maybe were more moderate and they just couldn't take it anymore.
And listen, my advice is you put in your 20, you get your retirement, you head down to a nice, you pick the state of your choice, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Music City, Florida, someplace, wherever you like Florida, Texas, and you take your money, it's going to go far, and you start a business and enjoy the rest of your life with your family.
And you'll be better off financially in the long run.
But I have to run.
Listen, thank all seriousness.
I do give my my firefighter friends a hard time, but I really do appreciate all you guys.
And I'm honored to be able to call some of you guys, my friend.
And uh thank you so much for what you're doing, and thanks for calling.
Thanks, Sean.
All right, bye-bye.
800, 94, one Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, Linda, they cook all of my favorite foods.
It is like I he I'm salivating just thinking about the meals my friends describe to me.
I was actually surprised that you did not bring up your meatloaf because that's typically what you talk to firemen about.
Your meatloaf.
I was like, here it comes any second now.
You didn't do it.
Sausage and meatballs, and I mean, onions that you I mean steaks and chicken and whatever, man.
I love it.
I give them such a hard time.
I'm such a jerk, right?
Listen, when you're putting your life on the line, you have to have the best meal you can before you go out there.
They they know I'm Joshing.
You know, of course.
Like, what do you mean you get racked time?
I can't sleep during my show.
They're like, oh, shut up.
You get paid for shooting off your big fat mouth, which you'd be doing anyway.
Exactly.
Anyway.
All right, that's gonna wrap things up for today.
Let not your heart be trouble.
I know this is big news on Hillary.
I know the media mob will ignore this trial.
I know we have a tainted jury pool.
I know I can tell you right now, I don't care about what the verdict is.
I care what Dorum knows and what's going to come out in this trial, and the fact that Hillary Hillary Clinton approved the lie about Trump Tower, Alpha Bank and connections to Russia as a matter of course tells us a lot.
You want to talk about dirty, disgusting, repulsive tricks in a campaign.
This is it.
It's almost as bad as hiding Hunter Biden's laptop the way the media mob and the Democrats did.
Anyway, well, the latest on Monday.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks for being with us.
You make this show possible.
