We are certainly right now in this country out of the pandemic phase.
Freedom is back in style.
Welcome to the revolution to your cention game tall and say new country songs.
The new Sean Hannity show.
More behind the scenes information on breaking news and more bold inspired solutions for America.
This is a special edition of the Sean Hannity Show.
America trapped behind enemy lines.
Day number two fifty-eighthood.
I'm out. | |
We're emerging from here it is day two sixty-one.
Jo sorry about that. | |
I hit the wrong button. | |
I thought it was on the air.
Day 261. | |
Uh Joe Biden now abandoning our fellow Americans around the world.
It's pretty unbelievable.
Then he's just turned the page.
Anyway, happy Friday. | |
Thanks for being with us.
You know, I was thinking a lot today about everything that's going on.
And you know, for example, we got a president.
Look at that cleptocracy, you know, piece that we put together.
Let me play it again. | |
Because this is really important.
Then I'll also play my my favorite of all time, Joe Biden moments.
We got a president that is a complete cognitive mess.
Now, if if Joe and the Democrats really believe he's up to the task, I think we need to have and demand publicly a that he take a cognitive test.
He can even practice ahead of time.
But you can't give him the real test.
Uh he can't know ahead of time what the test is gonna be, but I'm sure they'd probably cheat.
Just listen to him this week and listen to one of the highlight reels.
We're gonna seize the riots, the luxury homes, another ill-begotten gains of Putin's Kleptocra.
Yeah. | |
Yeah, cleptocracy and club the guys who are the kleptocracies.
But these are bad guys. | |
Maine, New Hampshire, America, gone on the mend.
They're on the they're not on the mend any longer.
They're on the move. | |
And please sit down. | |
I'm Jill's husband. | |
And now we buy some grandfather.
Senator Duckworth introduced her to 11-year-old.
Is it Vivian? | |
Vivian. | |
Vivi. | |
I'm sorry, Vivian. | |
Woman who just died, the Secretary of State used to have an expression.
She said, We are the essential nation.
The first lady's husband uh contracting COVID, but uh look at this room and what you want you to see.
Pardon? | |
That's right. | |
She's fine. | |
Me. | |
That's not together. | |
The second lady, the first gentleman.
And a pound of Ukrainian people, the proud, proud people, pound for pound, ready to fight with every inch of earnest they have.
The political coverage of the look.
Um of the political players and some of the let me ask a rhetorical question.
No, anyway. | |
you Thank you. | |
I mean, it's that bad. | |
You think about what a cognitive mess he is.
And just this week alone, we have what?
The new ministry of truth.
We're going to get to that in a second.
We have proclamations by Joe Biden that they're all our children.
They're not somebody else's children.
They're like your children there when they're in the class.
No, they're not your children.
They're the parents' children.
These things parents are not potted plants.
Teachers, schools, governments have no right to contradict the values of the children and the values they want to instill in children.
You know, you think after spending more per capita per student than any other industrialized country with the worst results, you might want to focus on, you know, the alphabet first before you start talking about gender identity and human sexuality.
Uh and maybe you just want to leave that alone after the and make sure they're proficient in reading, writing, math, science, computers, and all the things that are actually going to be necessary for them in life.
And if you're really that hell-bent on offering human sexuality classes, I don't care.
That's up to you. | |
But you ought not do it during regular school time.
And a parents, for whatever reason, you're uncomfortable, you don't want to talk about sexuality with your kids.
I don't know why you'd be afraid to do that.
I guess some people are.
I'm not. | |
Then you then talk to them about it.
You know, give the parents the curriculum and give them an opportunity after school, maybe every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
I don't care how often you do it, and and have at it, but let the parents opt in.
Don't force it upon kids and take away the precious little time that they get getting an education which is inferior in so many of our school districts, anyway.
I mean, think of it. | |
So we got a cognitive mess as a president.
Clearly, the vice president is not up for the job.
I mean, if we ever get to the point we need the 25th amendment, this is gonna be a real disaster for the world, not just America.
Remember, I wrote, you know, live free or die, America and the world on the brink.
Well, this is the brink part I was warning about.
Um we did, by the way, I signed some special copies if you want them for Mother's Day.
Uh great gift for mom. | |
Um, and I'll tell you why.
The demand for them has gone through the roof.
Because everything we wrote about and predicted could happen is happening.
It's even happening faster than I could have ever imagined.
Now we're gonna have they're so wigged out over this ministry of truth.
You know, when in this country, we're gonna have a literally a disinformation governance board.
Are you kidding me? | |
Proclamations that your children are the government's children, no parents are not potted plants.
Sorry. | |
Then we got the whole law and order problem in every city and town, seemingly across the country, or many of them, especially in blue states and blue cities, where there's no law and order, there's no safety and security.
That should be fundamental if you're gonna have somebody ever pursue happiness, you know, defund, dismantle, no bail laws, wide open borders.
It doesn't matter that the law couldn't be any more clear.
It is illegal to enter this country without permission.
That's it. | |
And if you aid in a bet the law breaking, like Mayorcus is, you should be impeached.
And if it was if it was Donald Trump not enforcing the laws of the land, I guarantee you, we'd probably be in the middle of impeachment hearings right about now.
41-year high of inflation.
The obvious answer, which is to reduce the cost of energy, which will reduce the cost of everything we buy at every place we go, which would reduce the price of a gallon of gasoline now at a record high.
Uh they're not gonna look at the obvious solution.
They'd rather talk to Iran and Russia and Venezuela and beg OPEC, even though OPEC keeps telling them that they're not gonna produce more oil.
How many more times are we going to beg them?
Now we have uh uh the first quarter of negative economic growth, 1.4%.
That means a recession is looming.
Um we have a supply chain crisis that's not getting better, it's actually getting worse.
I just mentioned Afghanistan, that's a disaster.
Now Putin is cutting off our Western and NATO allies, Western European and NATO allies, as it relates to gas and oil.
And you know what? | |
We have the answer right here under our feet in America.
We have an over 200 plus year supply.
We are the Middle East of natural gas in this country.
Clean gas, liquefied natural gas.
And if we were smart, we not only would produce it ourselves, because it would help make America get rich again and end our dependence on any foreign energy, but then we could probably help out Western Europe because they're now in a pickle, because whether the the climate alarmist religious cult wants to admit it or not, uh green their green energy fantasy doesn't exist.
The technology's not there.
So the lifeblood of the world's economy remains oil, gas, and coal, and nuclear, if you want to include that, but I'm sure you can't go there.
You know, think about this.
How do we possibly have a dire a Homeland Security Secretary, Department of Homeland Security Secretary?
This created after 9-11.
Why would that why would that secretary be so involved with the creation of a disinformation governance board?
In other words, a ministry of truth.
Why would they want to do that?
Because that's what he talked about before Congress.
Why would this idiot spend $72 million to stop border wall construction?
Because that's how much it cost us to stop border wall construction.
And by the way, apparently they have no idea where some uh people that have terrorist backgrounds uh might be living or working.
I guess they didn't get their free Biden telephone.
I mean, can you imagine with the greatest country on earth, and this is what this guy is doing?
You know, he he's supporting amnesty.
Uh he goes it just one thing after another.
Why is the Department of Homeland Security involved in creating a strategic framework for addressing climate change?
How is that related to Homeland Security?
You know, I uh Chip Roy was phenomenal yesterday.
Let's play that cut again.
Chiproy just nailing Mayorcus.
He is a failure. | |
He should be impeached.
Republicans get back power.
This man needs to go. | |
He is not qualified for this job.
Anyway, listen. | |
How about the little girl here with a brand on her arm?
A little girl with a brand on her arm because of your policies, a little girl here in the desert, found by ranchers trying to save their life.
And how about the lost voices for people dying from fentanyl?
The hundreds of tens of thousands of Americans dying from fentanyl, faces, faces Americans, faces of Americans across this country dying because of fentanyl pouring into our country.
Time of the gentleman is expired.
You know full well encouraging cartels, encouraging people to come here, harming Texas and harming this country.
You know it. | |
and you're ignoring the absolute truth.
The time of the gentleman has expired.
He no longer has time to slander the secretary, Ms. Scam.
It's not slander. | |
You know, slander is slander.
Thank you, Secretary Myoretics.
Scanlon. | |
That's not slander. | |
That's called the truth.
You know, remember Jerry Nadler was asked, there's no crisis at the border.
You know, it's the same thing on the economy.
Now, now we got this person.
So who do you think is going to head up this department of this ministry of uh propaganda, ministry of truth, or as they themselves refer to it as the uh disinformation governance board.
This this is a a really interesting case in point of just how dumb they are.
Because we first of all, when did the government get Involved in suppressing freedom of speech.
Where were all these people when all these conservatives were being banned, suspended, and shadow banned all over Twitter.
Where were they? | |
Because they weren't there when we needed them.
Because they didn't care.
They only care about their freedom of speech.
Well, what the politicians might be silenced now in America as a result of Elon Musk buying Twitter.
Um, excuse me, but that's already been happening.
Anyway, so just days after Elon Musk's purchases Twitter, and by the way, we have some Project Veritas tapes that James O'Keefe is going to share with us.
Anyway, we find out that we have this disinformation governance board, and we discover that the person that they have tapped to run this thing is a woman by the name of Nina Jankowitz, and she's the official, I guess, purveyor of truth in the Ministry of Truth, and she's in charge of combating so-called dangerous information.
Now, the interesting part is she has her own history of spreading misinformation online.
We'll play it later in the program.
In 2020, she called the accurate New York Post report on Hunter Biden's laptop, a quote, product of the Trump campaign, referred to it as a fairy tale about a laptop repair shop.
She also heaped praise on the dirty dossier author Christopher Steele.
And now she really also doesn't seem to care for Elon Musk or freedom of speech at all.
He said, I shudder to think about if free speech absolutists were taking over more platforms, uh, what that would look like for the marginalized communities.
Well, the only people that I know that were marginalized in terms of social media were conservatives.
And I don't think that's who she's referring to.
I mean, anybody else, you have the right, you know, you have a the queen of disinformation running the ministry of truth.
You can't make this up. | |
Anyway, 800-941 Sean is our number.
Look, in this in these inflationary times, negative growth.
We have one more quarter of negative growth.
That's called an official recession.
Music. | |
All right, as we roll along 800-941 Sean.
So we're gonna have a Ministry of Truth or disinformation governance board run by a woman known for disinformation.
Now, the New York Post weighed in on this today in an editorial about this.
Uh, how Nina uh Jankowitz, a veteran, uh, she's she's like the queen of disinformation.
That's what they have as the title.
You know, you go back, she embraced the entire Trump Russia dossier that we now know not only was not verifiable, uh it was not verified and not verifiable, and now proven to be bogus.
How's that for disinformation?
As the first laptop laptop story ran, the AP quoted her directly.
Disinformation experts say there are multiple red flags that raise doubts about their authenticity, including questions about whether the laptop actually belongs to Hunter Biden, she said at the time.
She told the AP. | |
We should view this as a Trump campaign product.
It wasn't. | |
Disinformation. | |
She was spreading disinformation.
Then she shared another report, casting it yet more doubt on the New York Post Hunter Biden story that turns out to be very true, tweeting the same day, the emails don't need to be altered to be part of an influence campaign.
Voters deserve that context, not a fairy tale about a laptop repair shop.
He never bothered calling uh what is his name?
John Mack, Isaac, John the laptop uh repair shop owner whose life has been ruined, unfortunately.
And, you know, back to on the laptop from hell, Biden notes 50 former, you know, national security officials and five former CIA heads, they believe it's a Russian influent uh influence operation.
You know, Trump says Russia, Russia, Russia.
She's gonna head up the Ministry of Truth or the disinformation governance board.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to Know that it's gotten well a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional tass.
You're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen.
Holding them accountable.
Sean gets the answers no one else does.
America deserves to know the truth about Congress.
Hi, 25 to the top of the hour, 800-941-SEAN.
Our number... | |
We do have this uh information coming out.
Uh we'll play it later in the program.
It's actually extremely funny.
Um I think maybe some of the best work that Project Veritas and our friend James O'Keefe has ever done.
Uh he got all the he's got 40 minutes of tape of I guess it was a Zoom, was that a Zoom call?
I don't even know. | |
I'm one of the few people I've done what like only a few Zoom interviews.
I don't like to do Zoom calls.
I'll just get on the audio is fine enough for me.
Um anyway, they're just losing their minds.
They I and I mean lose their minds.
They they cannot handle.
Now what is what what is Elon Musk done or said that deserves the treatment that they're giving this guy.
Now, I Elon Musk fascinates me.
If you haven't watched the series The Men That Built America, you gotta watch it.
So good. | |
You know, the Carnegie Mellons, the Rockefellers, the Henry Ford's, uh JP Morgan's.
I mean, you gotta watch this thing.
Because they're all killers.
I mean, they're all really hardcore tough business people.
And um, it is just to me, it's just an amazing thing to behold.
Is this guy, you know, is building the electric cars the left liberals seem to desperately want, and you know, so bad.
It's it's it's pretty incredible.
Um, these are the most bizarre times that I think I've ever covered in my life doing this, where we have a president that doesn't know it's Friday.
He's gone. | |
I don't care. | |
We can we we can play games, we can walk around and tap our way around it.
It's not funny. | |
I don't find any of it funny.
I know I made fun of it for a while.
Then I realized this isn't funny.
It's really bad. | |
Cognitive mess. | |
You know, now we have a ministry of truth.
You gotta be, you just gotta be kidding me.
You can't make this up in America, but only after Elon Musk buys Twitter.
We'll ignore all the conservatives that have been banned, suspended their their accounts shadow banned.
You know, the the algorithms that they put in place to suppress conservative speech, and now they're worried all of a sudden about freedom of speech, and we're gonna have a ministry of truth from somebody that is the the biggest purveyor of disinformation.
She's gonna run this thing.
You can't make this up. | |
You know, add to that every other bad policy.
And this is where it gets really deadly serious.
Proclamations, you know, we have uh we have we have literally law enforcement people talking about going to local school board meetings because those parents are getting really mean because they what because the schools are failing because they want and are fighting for age-appropriate materials to be taught their kids because they don't want their deeply held values being contradicted by a left-wing teacher that that has a captive audience of children that should
be teaching them about reading, writing, math, science, uh, uh arithmetic, whatever.
Computers, the things that they're gonna need in life.
No, we won't do that. | |
We've got to be it just it's really important to teach those toddlers, those kindergartners about transgenderism.
As if parents don't exist.
Whereas Joe Biden says they're they're they're not your children.
You know, we all know that they're not somebody else's children.
He actually said that. | |
We have an obligation. | |
We have an obligation. | |
Help them teach them. | |
And reach their potential.
You've heard me say it many times.
About our children. | |
That's true. | |
They're all our children.
They're all. | |
And the reason you're the teachers of the year is because you recognize that.
They're not somebody else's children.
They're like yours when they're in the classroom.
They're not like somebody else's children.
Yeah, they're not. | |
Come on, man. | |
Are you a junkie? | |
Good grief. | |
Open borders, the disaster down there.
Love Chip Roy yesterday.
We'll play that again later, but defund, dismantle the police, borders a mess, 40-year high of inflation, recession is now looming of 1.4 uh decline in terms of negative growth in America.
You have two quarters, that's called a recession by definition.
Record high gas prices, your supply chain crisis that's getting worse, the disaster that was the Afghanistan withdrawal, the disaster that is now the war in Europe and Putin controls the spigot.
How many times, Linda, over the years that I warn, what happens if Vladimir one day decides to turn off the spigot and for the oil and the gas uh that is now the lifeblood of our NATO and Western European allies?
I've I talked about that for years, how dumb that was.
Donald Trump knew it. | |
Donald Trump, you know, dressed down the head of NATO about how stupid they are, gave the Chancellor of Germany, uh Angela Merkel at the time, the white flag, and she goes, What's the white flag for?
You've surrendered. | |
You're paying all this money more dollars than any other country to protect our NATO allies from Russia.
We're paying more in terms of the percentage of our GDP, and it's right in their backyard to protect them from Russia.
They're paying a much smaller rate, GDP-wise, and then they're doing multi-billion dollar energy deals, tens of billions of dollars in energy deals with Vladimir Putin.
How insane is that? | |
When did you think that they'd ever, you know, all it's perfectly fine that they silence conservatives, and now we're gonna have a ministry of truth, a disinformation board led by a purveyor of disinformation.
Why don't you just appoint Adam Schiff, Rachel Maddow, and you know, everybody pretty much that works at fake news CNN?
When you put Humpty Dumpty on the team.
That's how insane this has gotten.
You know, that that this I expect in Cuba, where you don't have freedom of speech, or Russia, where you don't have freedom of speech, or Venezuela, where you don't have freedom of speech, or Middle Eastern countries where you don't have freedom of speech, uh, or China, where you definitely do not have freedom of speech, or Iran, you do not have freedom of speech.
Shows like this wouldn't exist in those countries.
And we tell the truth. | |
You know, that now all of a sudden they they never cared about the truth when they were lying and coordinating the media mob and the Democratic Party using the same talking points uh as it relates to Trump-Russia collusion.
That never ever happened.
The steel dossier turns out, yeah, not only unverified, unverifiable, and now debunked, and they dragged the country through hell for three and a half years.
Great job, Rachel Maddow and company.
Great job. | |
This is CNN, fake news, humpty dumpty.
You're ever gonna retract, uh, apologize, correct the record, never happen.
All the people that said, right, well, that's Russian disinformation that Hunter Biden line.
That's not true. | |
It's that's disinformation.
That's that that is now the America that we're living in here.
And it's chilling. | |
Anyway, uh, we'll get to this with uh our friend James O'Keefe.
The the tapes are hilarious.
I mean, I mean, really funny.
You got a Twitter board member saying, uh, I also want to acknowledge all of the emotions of of of today.
It's an emotional day, and I just want to acknowledge that today's an emotional day.
Are you kidding me? | |
Does anybody know what a hard day uh at work is like if if that's how you your your feelings are are that you you're that woke that you can't handle a change in management?
Are you serious? | |
Wow. | |
What a really good idea.
It means something different.
It means that they're so lazy.
And they got so much time on their hands to sit around and think about their feelings and talk about their feelings and write about their feelings, and then finally tweet about their feelings, and it's pathetic.
It's absolutely pathetic.
It is so absolutely pathetic.
And then, you know, saying by law, we are required to act in the best interest of our shareholders.
Well, guess what? | |
The shareholders made a uh a big amount of money because Elon Musk paid a premium for this thing.
44 billion dollars. | |
And he now knows that you know a lot of the accounts are bot accounts, they're not even real accounts.
And then, you know, saying in this conference call, I can't speak to why people leak information to to journalists, but people do.
I can't imagine how disruptive it was for all of you.
Are you kidding me? | |
Right. | |
The same people who supported your 57 pages of text messages coming out, they cheered on Rachel Maddow when she was getting uh they released my text messages now like on a daily basis.
I've just given up counting.
You know what? | |
Maybe they should release some of theirs and see how that feels.
I'm sure that the text messages are completely fine.
No, listen well, now when it starts affecting them, then all of a sudden I think they'd have a very different take.
Yeah, they start crying.
I just don't care. | |
It's important to acknowledge that all of you uh have many different feelings about what is happening.
Uh we need to talk about your feelings.
Many of you are concerned, some of you are excited.
Many people here are waiting to understand how this goes and have an open mind.
Let me tell you what this means for Elon Musk.
And Neilon Musk does not need advice from Sean Hannity.
He's a pretty smart guy.
I think he sold his first business at 12.
Um Elon Musk is gonna have to clean house big time.
Because otherwise he's gonna have his own Twitter deep state that is definitely going to end in a disaster for him.
But I think he's too smart to let that happen.
I that's my my belief. | |
So we're likely headed for a recession.
We have one more quarter like this past quarter.
GDP fell 1.4%. | |
Um, and that is not good for the country.
That's not good for the economy.
That's on top of the 40-year high of inflation.
Uh we're now going to see unemployment.
Biden now admits that he has taken America to the verge of a recession.
Biden said yesterday that he's concerned about a possible recession in 2023 after quarterly data showed the U.S. economy shrank by 1.4%.
And remember, they've they said inflation was just transitory.
No, nothing they ever predict is right.
Lawrence Summers has been right.
I gotta give him some credit.
And he's not exactly a Sean Hannity fan.
Biden brushed off the surprise economic slowdown in the first quarter.
Not surprising to me. | |
Uh no one is predicting a recession.
Now, actually, a lot of economists are.
They're saying it's almost a sh a short thing.
Others have a different prediction.
Let's see what happens.
But they're predicting, some are predicting there may be a recession in 2023.
Biden's inflation now sends even recession proof, supposedly Amazon into a nosedive.
Amazon lost 3.8 billion dollars in the quarter compared with a profit of 8.1 billion a year ago.
That's not good. | |
I'm not sure what the Epic Times is getting at here.
We have a string of fires at and 16 U.S. food processing plants have been destroyed or damaged by fire since November of 2021.
Food experts are not concerned, saying the fires are all unrelated.
16? | |
Unrelated? | |
I don't know. | |
I've been doing this a long time.
Um that kind of raises alarms in my head.
Uh NPR argues the economy is much, much sturdier than it looks.
They're trying to run interference for Biden.
Political insider, even with trillions in spending, Biden's economy shrank.
Well, it doesn't get any CMBC, 1.4%, GDP falls.
None of this is good for the American consumer.
And none of this is good for any of you.
And I'm not trying to bring bad news every day.
I'm just telling you. | |
Well, the only good news politically is I can tell you this.
Is I think every single person that I have any respect for, even Democrats are predicting a wipeout in this midterm election yeah.
Uh Washington Post column, Democrats sleepwalking, are they sleepwalking into a long-term catastrophe?
Uh Americans give President Joe a negative 38% job approval rating.
He's out of low at 33. | |
You can't be at 38% and win, especially when you look issue by issue, and you have more people disapproving his handling of COVID, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, foreign policy, 54% disapproved, the economy, 61% disapprove, the Mexican border, 60% disapprove.
None of that is any good.
You look at demographics, he's losing young people, but in droves, he's down in like 40% range with them, and that was a big part of his coalition to win.
He's down with Hispanic Americans over 30 points.
Even fake news CNN pointed out that he's losing African-American support by double digits before the midterms.
This grim GDP report, negative growth for the quarter, undercuts the Democrats'midterm messaging.
Oh, the economy's doing great.
Good luck with that. | |
I don't think that's going to get them very far.
Inflation is draining your wallet, grocery cart, and gas tank.
It's far steeper than 8%.
When you look at the labor department's March inflation numbers released this month, uh if we if we were to go back to the way they calculated it when Reagan was president, when Carter was president, we're talking about double digits everything.
They just calculated differently, but the impact is still the same.
You want smart political talk without the meltdowns?
