Time Text
This is an iHeart Podcast.
Leonard Skinner, simple man that can only mean one thing on this radio program.
That's all things, Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly of BillO'Reilly.com.
Mr. O'Reilly, sir, how are you?
Causing trouble, as usual, Hannah.
Yeah, I I'm not even getting into it.
Because I mean, it's so ridiculous.
What are you doing?
What are you thinking about?
I'm not going to even get into the issue.
Okay.
I'm a guy who looks out for you, Sean Hannon.
You're so full of crap, you were mad as hell.
That is my mind drive.
Well, go sell this snake oil somewhere else.
Come on, you're mad your plane was late.
You know it's true.
I look out for the folks.
Oh, so that was all for the folks.
It had nothing to do with you being pissed off.
I I mean, if you read the case.
I wasn't going to bring it up.
You're bringing it up.
I I just figured I don't I don't even want to hear it.
I'm like, what is he doing?
No, we got things more important things to talk about.
But give me 30-second overarch here.
All right.
The American public's getting screwed by the airlines.
Uh the airlines do not have enough personnel, pilots, or flight crews to fly their schedules.
Therefore, you buy a ticket, you give them your money.
They know that half the flights on Jet Blue are not going to be able to get off the ground within a reasonable amount of time.
They know that.
Can I ask you a question?
Did the the guy you got into this confrontation with?
Do you think he has the any power at all to fix this?
He would not, after seven hours.
These people are coming to me, Hannity.
Everybody knew I was sitting there with them.
Everyone said, O'Reilly, go charge the gates.
Can you do anything?
So I said, I'll talk to the guy, and then he was a wise guy.
But that's not important.
What's important, and you'll be able to do that.
No, I Bill, I I fly like you do.
I've I've had the same experiences.
Yes, everybody has.
It totally sucks.
I agree.
Wait, but I just I'm gonna give you a story for your television broadcast tonight.
This could stop in a second.
If Pete Boot a judge would do his job.
Department of Transportation is direct oversight on the American airline system.
He can find, they can find these carriers for doing this.
But they look the other way like the Biden administration does in every single problem in his country and refuse to solve any problems.
Listen, I'm I'm in full agreement with you.
It's it's just that I in my opinion, just as an outside observer, and I know everybody there, because we've all been there, we've all felt it, and it sucks, is that you wait you three, four, five, six, in your case, you say in seven hours.
And the problem is the person at the gate has no power.
They have none.
If you really wanted to do if you want to do something, my humble suggestion, yeah, I'm a simple man in my own way, would be to get in touch with the CEO of JetBlue.
It didn't help the suffering.
There was almost a riot in that terminal on April 3rd.
Yeah, you were leading it.
Okay, because of this flight, every flight.
They couldn't get it.
It's terrible, Bill.
It's awful.
And there were little children there.
It sucks.
And nobody would say a word about what the deuce is going on.
So I was elected to the no, you got pissed off and you went up to the gates.
You know, stop saying you did this for the people.
You did it for you because you imagine.
All right.
Well, can we I'm done with this?
I don't want to talk about this stupid thing.
All right, so a lot has happened today, and we see a lot going on with the economy.
You know, now Biden is aiming to expand access to student loan forgiveness for millions and millions of people, 40,000 borrowers.
Um, I know you you probably like me, the college I went to, I had to pay it all myself, every penny, pay back a s my student loan.
It was fifty-eight dollars and five cents from Jamaica Savings Bank that I spent ten years paying off when I couldn't afford it.
Uh the Biden White House at this time with a 40-year high of inflation, the highest price we've ever paid for gasoline, is now eyeing a massive green energy tax.
You look at Biden now at the lowest approval rating with every major news organization.
Quinn and Piac coming in last week at 33%.
Uh only 26% Support among Hispanic Americans, and he got 56% of the vote in 2020.
And if you look at support of young voters, as we now have a poll out today, Quinna Piac poll, I'm sorry, rather, that came out.
His approval among young voters has dropped by 40 points.
Two-thirds of voters now say Joe Biden is compromised by China.
And he's he's trying to blame Putin for you know inflation and high gas prices, but we have shown uh over and over again on television that is a big lie.
Your reaction to this this massive problem, it's hurting the people in this country, Bill.
All right, here's how it's hurting everybody.
Okay, here are the stats.
92 percent of outstanding student debt in this country is federal debt.
That means the students borrowed from the federal government directly.
The number is one point six trillion dollars that Americans owe on student loans.
1.6 trillion.
Colossal number.
So now Biden, in order to buy votes, and that's what he does on every problem, says we're gonna forgive some of that, but he doesn't tell you or us or anyone exactly how the forgiveness works.
Okay, so who's gonna be forgiven?
He says 40,000 borrowers are gonna be under the student loan forgiveness program.
Who?
Who are they?
Who?
Okay.
They didn't say, Bill.
No, they absolutely didn't say, and you have 43 million Americans holding the debt.
I can assure you that this will be done on a race basis.
Okay.
Okay, so that's number one.
They're hiding what they really want to do.
The most important thing is that every time the federal government forms.
If they're gonna do this bill, which I am against, because if you take out a loan, I think you should pay the loan back.
And I don't believe in this forgiveness, it's all part of redistribution.
Why shouldn't it be means based?
In other words, to whoever they are, you don't look at identity politics.
You know, who needs the help the most?
If that would be my criteria, although I'd never support this program anyway.
Listen, I I don't have any beef about having a program to help poor students.
None.
I just want it to find.
But what people don't understand is when you forgive a debt and the student doesn't have to pay it back to the federal government, that goes into the federal debt.
So that ups the federal debt.
Because that money then comes off the books.
We're gonna get their loan repaid, now we're not, so it gets added onto the debt, which is approaching thirty trillion dollars.
Now the Biden administration doesn't care, and the Trump administration, to be honest, didn't care either about running up the federal debt.
They didn't.
And that's why we have it almost 30 trillion dollars.
Well, I think in fairness to the Trump administration, there's one little caveat to that.
I I think the growing economy would have put us in the black over time because those policies were working so well.
And we have record tax requests.
But once once the pandemic hit, it was, you know.
That's possible, but there was just a reality.
It happened very big spending under Trump because Trump revitalized the economy and then modernize the military.
We understand where the money went.
This student um debt forgiveness is another socialism attempt to give people money, primarily poor people, give it to them at the expense of every other American.
That's what it's about.
Soaring inflation, Bill, this is really sad to me.
You know, the the uh what is it?
Bloomberg estimates now that the average household is paying uh five thousand two hundred dollar inflation tax every year.
Uh now we have soaring inflation eating away at America's retirement savings, uh, because many of the country's 56 million residents, uh 65 and over, they're will they they are on a fixed income, limited savings.
That's putting him in a horrible position.
Uh workers are facing return to office sticker shock, because that's costing them a m a lot of money.
Now they have to get to work, and that costs a lot more than it did before.
Uh gas prices expect expected in the next two weeks to go up another thirty cents a gallon.
Uh, and if you look at every measure and every way, Federal Reserve of Bank of New York, renters' likelihood of buying a home is the lowest point in history.
A 30-year fixed bill is now five point two seven percent.
Last year we were getting him in the twos uh based on the Trump economy.
The St. Louis Fed says a three quarter percent interest rate hike is possible, uh, which would raise interest rates probably closer now to seven percent.
And one last point Goldman Sachs is predicting as many as eleven rate hikes in two years.
We'll be a double-digit, you know, interest rates in no time.
Well, you gotta assume that interest rates will happen, but not as fast as that, because um the recession possibility on every interest rate hike, it grows.
And I believe that the uh Republicans will win big in November, and that will pretty much neuter President Biden from doing much at all.
He's not gonna be able to do anything, it'll be a stalemate.
So when the Republicans pass a bill, it'll go to his desk, he'll veto it, you're not gonna be able to override because the Senate won't be that big.
You need two-thirds in the Senate to override.
However, um the Fed is gonna basically be they don't want to drive the country into a recession.
And the higher borrowing costs are, the more likely that is to happen.
So I'm not that worried about it now.
It might get out of control.
What I am worried about is Joe Biden himself.
I mean, I'm really worried about this man being the president of the United States.
And as you know, I don't know if there's a there's somebody who knows more about presidents than me.
I mean, I think I know a lot of them.
Uh I think I'm right up there with you, Bill.
I've been 35 years in the business.
Kind of we're kind of close an age.
We're close enough.
And and we know that Joe Biden at this point, sixteen months into his administration, is a lost cause.
It's over already.
Quick break.
More with Simple Man, Bill O'Reilly.
All Things O'Reilly.
BillOReilly.com as we continue.
We'll be right back.
Who the hell are you?
You know, now say my name.
Sean Hannity.
Damn right.
And this is the Sean Hannity Show.
Music.
All right, we continue our discussion.
All things simple man, Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly, Bill O'Reilly.com.
You know what the saddest thing that I read today is?
Russia is now openly saying that the president has dementia, and they they're literally giving out the signs of of Biden's cognitive decline.
Well, I think the Easter bunny put everybody over the top.
That might have no, it might have been that when he turned to the right, held out his hand to shake air.
You know, and kept it there for one one thousand, two, however long.
And then finally figured out nobody's there to shake hands with, but he kept his hand out for a long time, Bill.
That was scary.
You know, uh, you have a lot of context.
I want to find out if the Easter Bunny is indeed now a national security advisor.
I by the way, had to be what did the Easter bunny do but to pull Biden away from answering a press uh a press question.
I didn't buy it It had to be somebody if of importance underneath that that bunny suit.
Instead of whacking the money, it'd say, look, I want to answer this question.
Biden just goes, okay.
You know, we I I you know I was making fun of it in the beginning, and that I was you know, talking about Sippy Cup and you know, a little ice cream, and and if you're if you're good little Joey, you get to get a nighttime story and blah blah blah.
It's not funny, Bill, to me anymore.
No, you gotta look at it though with some humor because you just don't want to be relentlessly depressed.
But when we're dealing with what could be the second worst president in U.S. history, because he's never gonna be able to do that.
I I think he's got a good really good shot of being number one, Bill.
Yeah, he can't Buchanan was the worst.
If you study James Buchanan and what he did that led up to the Civil War, it was just disgraceful.
I mean, my God.
Nobody's yet to be decided.
Now he's telling Obama he wants to run again.
Do you uh and most Americans don't even think he's gonna finish his term of plurality?
But what do you expect him to say?
I mean, you know, he I don't know whether he told Obama that or not, but the Democratic establishment isn't gonna say they're gonna tell the people the truth that the guy is incapable of running the country, and they're gonna go, no, Joe's gonna run again because he's so good.
What did you make of his hometown paper, the Washington Post, listing the top ten people, and number one was Biden if he runs, then they they had Pete Budaj second, not Kamala Harris, she was third.
The Republican Party has a very deep bench.
The Democratic Party has no bench.
There's no one Democrat that I'm looking at that I'm thinking, you know, maybe maybe Kristen Cinema Joe Manchin are at the top of the list.
Nah, because they liberals would never vote for it.
I'm giving you their best, Bill.
I mean, I'm not saying they're the best.
I'm saying that's the best for them.
Look at what Republicans have.
They got Pompeo, they got DeSantis, they've got all these Republican governors that are kicking ass.
Um I I can't even I can't even name all of them.
And Donald Trump also obviously will be in the mix, I believe, in 2024.
But Republicans got a really strong bench.
Yeah, there's a lot of DeSantis could uh get the nomination with a lot of problem, but I'm gonna throw out the president one day.
Mark my words, he will.
Uh Michelle Obama is the only hope for the Democratic Party.
You see her getting in.
You know, I think there's going to be pressure put upon um the Obamas, including Barack, obviously, too.
You've been around them.
I got the impression she hated being first lady and hated him being president.
I don't think she likes it.
But you know, if the appeal is made uh to her that the country is now going to be turned over to Donald Trump again, she might do it.
All right, Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly or Bill O'Reilly.com.
I'm not buying your story, Bill.
That's all.
I was gonna let it go, but you had to bring it up, you know.
If I were really mad, I would have done the kung fu you taught me.
You you never showed up for the lesson.
I'm inviting you, but you never come.
I put on video, I got it down.
Okay.
Okay, all things O'Reilly, BillOReilly.com.
All right.
Exposing the Pelosi Party's chaos and corruption all day, every day.
This is the Sean Hannity show.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
People have not been reporting on the border the way we have, and Sarah Carter has been down there, and you know, she's been blaring out with sirens how bad it's gotten.
The month of March, 220,000 illegal immigrant encounters.
Uh we now have over one million illegal immigrants, and count those that are caught, those that are encountered, and then of course, most of them set free, uh, in 2022 in the fiscal year 2022 alone.
I mean, that's we we're gonna set a record on top of last year's what, 25, 30 year record.
It's that bad at the border.
Um, and now Biden is considering delaying the Title 42 repeal, uh, in spite of the fact that you have people like Beto Bozo Rourke, the Democratic Senator from Nevada, the what's his day, Mark Kelly, the senator in Arizona.
They they all are feeling the impact, the burden and the brunt of illegal immigration, more than say, states on the east coast or in the northwest, Pacific Northwest.
So this is a big deal to them.
So you're getting a lot of election year conversions uh from people.
But if you repeal, if you if you appeal Title 42, you know, uh this is this is not a good issue for the Democrats.
As a matter of fact, Belusion even said, and he works for Fox News, they got information from Congressman Chiproy's office.
They sent a let list of questions to the Department of Homeland Security and Mayorcus about how many people on the terror watch list have been stopped at the border, and they answered 42 terror hits nationwide.
That those are only the people that they found uh since Biden took office.
Now, this is significantly more than the 23 revealed in the Freedom of Information Act request that we got from CBP days ago, and that was Fox News reporting on this.
It's only incentivizing.
We now have migrant caravans building as we speak.
Uh interesting fake news CNN Chris uh Siliza, I think is how you say his name.
He identified the sneaky big issue of the 2022 election, and he was, you know, he got a lot of mockery and ridicule after he said a sneaky big issue in the 2022 midterm.
This could be that issue, he tweeted with a link referring to immigration.
Um yeah, because the American people see it, they know that the borders were controlled under Donald Trump, and that is no control now.
And on top of that, we have the largest halls of fentanyl, which is killing so many of our children and other opioids crossing that border every single day.
And you know, the the drug cartels, they're making a fortune off of killing our kids.
And when are we gonna stop it?
And I love what Governor Abbott and Governor DeSantis are doing, they're saying, fine, you're you're aiding and abetting the law of breaking, you take care of them.
We'll send them to Delaware, we'll send them to Washington, D.C. Uh, all right, let's get to our phones.
Joe is in Florida.
Joe, hi, how are you?
Thanks for being with us, and glad you called.
Yeah, I just wanted to talk about old Dr. Jill there.
She what kind of wife puts her husband out there to embarrass himself every day.
Uh, I don't want to get critical of a first lady of the United States.
I'm just not gonna go there.
But I'm gonna say this.
It is obvious to everybody, and now the Saudis are on on Saudi Arabian TV are mocking Joe Biden's cognitive decline.
Now we have Vladimir Putin, you know, they're now calling it outright dementia and and defining the very symptoms that they see.
And this is what I said in the very beginning before this election took place in 2020.
I said he's hiding in his basement for a reason, and every time he comes out of his basement, it usually doesn't work out too well.
Unfortunately, it's real, everybody sees it, and I was warning the problem will be not that the American people see it, and they now see it, and there's been a lot of polls that have shown that they see it, but our enemies see it.
Vladimir Putin sees it, Kim Jong-un sees it, the Iranian mullahs see it, uh, President Xi in China sees it.
And that is a danger to the free world.
I would argue that between Joe's economic and energy policies and his his cognitive decline, you see the world's most hostile actors and hostile regimes ratcheting up, you know, their whatever their ambitions happen to be, because they see that the United States does not have a strong leader at this time.
And that scares me.
That's not good for the country.
And I'll even maybe surprise you and say, I wish I want Joe to succeed, especially on foreign policy issues.
You know, we could solve the economic and energy problems and border problems and and and COVID issues if he just applied the principles that Donald Trump applied.
But he's never gonna do that because he's beholden to the climate alarmist religious cult known as the new Green Deal Socialist Democrats.
It's sad to see, and um I I'll just put it this way.
If somebody in my life were showing the exact same signs, I would there would be some intervention on my part to make sure they're okay.
And I would not overstress them.
Chris in Denver.
Chris, you're on the Sean Hannity Show.
What's up, Chris?
Hi there.
I'm really concerned about this 15% ethanol.
And I'm and the thing is President Biden on April 11th in Iowa said that he was going to temporarily um allow ethanol, 15% ethanol fuel to be produced, which is actually against a ban that our Clean Air Act had put in force because of um clean of air pollution issues from June to September.
So he's not only going against sort of the environmental group, but he's you know, but he's also going against that the the ethanol, 15% is hard on engines.
It does not get as many miles to the gallon.
And on top of that, the thing that really pushed me over the edge was two days ago, corn futures hit their highest price in 10 years.
So that means that all the feed for our animals, our cattle, everything, and also the and the feed for people, all of our cereals and corn based things are gonna go through the roof.
So he has only created a larger inflationary problem.
But then if you read in the fine print, there's only a thousand pumps in the entire United States that can take 15% ethanol.
So what does he do?
What do we do?
Department of Energy decides that we're gonna invest a hundred million dollars into biofuel in in in um infrastructure so that we can now have two thousand three hundred pumps in the United States.
So we are not only, you know, and on top of that, he does admit in Iowa that he doesn't really think this is gonna solve the price price problem, but it might help.
So not only do we have um our president making a decision which is very uh kingly in my mind that he's going against our EPA, our standards, our environment, increasing inflation for people, and um, you know, doing really no good and spending another hundred million.
So I'm really, really you can tell I'm I'm I'm worried about our farmers, especially family farmers.
Um I'm worried about you know the poor in the middle class w because they're they're now having to make decisions that no family in this country should be making because of by policies that would have prevented all of this.
And again, it all goes back to the climate alarmist religious cult, New Green Deal socialism, and this belief system uh that we're gonna we're gonna wean ourselves off of fossil fuels.
We don't have the antidote, the solution, the affordable cheap energy that I would not be against if we found it.
It doesn't exist.
The lifeblood of our economy is what it is.
Uh in the interim, while they're searching for new cheaper, cleaner forms of energy.
I'm an all the above guy.
Uh if you get me cheaper, cleaner uh uh energy that works, I'm all for it.
I'm not against it.
I want to I I believe we should be good stewards of the gifts that God gives us.
I want clean air and water for our kids.
Um so all of that is true, but unfortunately, these all of these problems were preventable and they're all fixable, but unfortunately, it's not gonna happen under this president and this Congress.
We have two very important inflection point elections, tipping point elections, if you will, this November and November of 2024.
That is the only way to reverse this madness and get America back on the path to prosperity and liberty and freedom and and constitutionalism and the idea that we'll be energy independent and uh there's so many things.
We'll control our borders.
You know, we we are better than this, and unfortunately the radicals are in charge.
They have the entire government.
You know, but you might not like Donald Trump's style.
Some people didn't like his style, they complained to me about his style.
I don't care about a style.
I care about the results.
I care about policies that work.
I'm not a conservative just for the sake of being a conservative.
I'm a conservative because these policies work.
You know, I give this speech all the time, Chris.
What do we conservatives believe in liberty and freedom and capitalism, our constitution, lower taxes, less regulation, limited government.
We believe in law and order so everyone can be safe and secure and pursue happiness.
We believe that we can do a lot better with our schools and and offer parents the choice of where to send their schools, more charter schools, for example.
Uh we believe in energy independence, secure borders, constitutional is on the bench, free and fair trade, peace through strength.
I think I've I've covered most of it.
It's not that complicated.
I try to make it as simple as possible.
These policies work for the American people.
Every time they've been implemented, they work.
That's why I'm only supporting candidates that I know will fight for these principles.
And you know, and and I've not made endorsements in some states because I don't know the people well enough yet, and I'm not endorsing somebody I don't know.
I'll give you the last word.
Yeah, I totally agree.
I just think that this is really a bad thing, and it doesn't help in any way.
And I just am shocked that that uh, you know, that that we we have a policy that's just bad for everything.
Everyone.
So I but I totally agree.
I I you know, if if biofuels will be helpful, it'd be great, but it's not right right now.
So thank you.
I appreciate all you do.
Chris, you sound like a very upbeat, happy, optimistic person with a wonderful personality.
God bless you, and thank you so much for calling.
All right, quick break, right back.
We'll get to more of your calls, 800-941-SHAWN, our number, if you want to be a part of the program as we continue.
We'll be right back.
All right, back to our busy phones.
Tamara is in Ohio.
Hey Tamara, how are you?
Glad you called.
I'm good, Sean.
I just have two things on my mind.
Um, first of all, I was wondering if you could give us an update of those that were left behind in in Afghanistan, if any of them have been able to get out.
Any updates on that?
And then the second thing that's on my mind is I was listening to the Ohio channel here a few days ago, and they had Ohio issues on, and Democrats were doing a lot of the talking.
And one of them, um, Trump's name came up, and one of them said that the Trump era was over.
And he also mentioned, he said, I'll go so far as to say that if Trump did decide to run in 2024, that uh by then he'd be under indictment and he wouldn't be able to run.
So it bothered me, and I wanted to call you and tell you.
Yeah, well, look, let me tell you that they're trying to do everything possible to make sure that Donald Trump can never run for president again.
They they they have a loathing, a hatred, it's irrational, it's over the top, it's insane.
And you know, part of the reason that he was so combative is there's never been a president in the history of this country that's been under more fire, uh, more consistently than him.
And in that sense, it it made his job more difficult.
But the the success speaks for itself.
Prior to the pandemic, record low unemployment, every demographic in the country.
He felt fulfilled his promises on cutting taxes.
You know, he ended more regulation, burdensome to our industry.
He fought China, he fought Japan, he fought Canada, he fought Mexico, fought Europe, fought NATO, got us better trade deals and better deals in in every single situation.
Um he let the world know that America was strong.
They feared him.
They had a healthy respect and believed that he was capable of responding, that if he said it, he meant it and he'd do it, and he did do it with the caliphate.
He did do it with Baghdadian associates.
He did do it with Solomonni.
Uh, he did do it um with the Al-Qaeda leader in Yemen.
He also promised his his border promises were met, his promises on energy were met.
We became energy independent at exporter of energy.
You know, we we just there's so much success that he never got credit for.
All people want to talk about is Donald Trump, Donald Trump this, Donald Trump that.
He called the press the enemy of the people.
Oh my gosh, a melting.
You know, it's meanwhile, what Joe calls a member of the press a son of a bitch.
Really?
A stupid son of a bitch.
Oh, I guess the woke crowd has now opened up the door so I can start calling liberals sons of bitches, and I guess that'll be okay.
Uh I'll fire anybody if you're disrespectful.
No ifs, ends, or buts, right on the spot.
Yeah, so much for his unity promise.
These two coming elections mean everything.
Freedom is but one generation away from extinction.
My my I'm begging all of you that hear my voice right now to really understand that this is a real clear present danger for our kids and their future and our grandkids in their future.
And we have got to take these elections seriously.
Export Selection
