This is an iHeart Podcast.
These people don't believe our representative.
He disgraced our nation with his humiliating surrender in Afghanistan and inflation is now, as you know, just reported highest in over 40 years.
Gas prices are the highest in history.
Think of that.
And we had them below $2 a gallon.
Think of that.
And now it's going up to five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Now I can you count.
Our borders are completely demolished.
Bloodthirsty criminals are laying waste to our Democrat run cities.
There were more COVID deaths in 2021 than were in 2020 with all the work we did, too.
Who would have believed that?
And just when you thought it couldn't get worse, Joe Biden totally failed to deter Russia's disgraceful invasion of Ukraine.
All those people are dead.
Putin's heinous attack on a proud and sovereign nation shocks the conscience of every person of goodwill, shocks the conscience of the people of Georgia, I can tell you.
The choice is clear.
If you don't want a socialist extremist and racist lunatic like Stacey Abrams raising your taxes, indoctrinating your children, defunding your police, setting loose criminals all over the place.
They're setting them loose, and they're pouring into our country.
We had the strongest border in history, and now we have the weakest border in history in just one and a half years.
The good news is now I talk about two and a half years instead of four years.
It's amazing.
Time is flying by.
But look at the havoc and look at the destruction that they've done to our country in such a short period of time.
But David Purdue, vote for him, please.
Republican primary on May 24th.
Remember also early voting begins on May 2nd.
So however you vote, but make sure your vote is counted.
Check it.
You can check it.
All right, joining us now is the Attorney General, great state of Arizona, uh, who is now a Senate candidate.
He's in this Republican primary for Senate.
We are proudly supporting him.
He's been a friend of this program for a long time.
Uh he's a real fighter.
He did have a recent victory that a federal judge blocked the Wallace Biden administration's policies that that stopped nearly all deportations uh after he was enforcing the laws of the land.
You've always been aiding and abetting the law breaking, and uh certainly Attorney General Burnovich has been on the forefront of these fights.
Uh he joins us now, sir.
How are you?
How's the campaign?
Well by the way, what's the name of your dumb website again?
Because it makes no sense.
Come on, you're gonna make my sister mad at you.
It's the dumb website is BurnoForAZ.com, B-R-N-O-F-O-R-A-Z.com.
But the Hannity variant, remember there's the handy variant, which is Mark B for AZ.
MARK.
Thank you.
Because nobody can remember the other one.
You know, for example, my website is Hannity.com.
Simple.
I told you, Sean, I'm good.
I'm a good lawyer.
I've argued it for the first time.
Burnovich doesn't flow off the tongue like Hannity.
I know, I know.
We didn't have enough.
When my my parents immigrated here, they didn't have enough money to buy any vowels, so we got stuck with that one.
Oh, good.
Oh, stop it.
All right.
Let's start with um what President Trump was just talking about.
And I mean, it's a disaster.
I can't think of one thing Joe's done that has made this country a better place and helped the American people.
And and that's on foreign policy or or domestic policy.
Well, you know, Sean, that the far left is attempting to concentrate as much power in Washington, DC, and whether it's socializing the economy, nationalizing the election, or undermining our border security and quite frankly, energy independence.
They are doing everything they can to turn us into a backward socialistic communist country.
And w when I sit there and I hear Joe Biden and officials in his administration uh basically continue to they're gonna substitute their reckless policies for what the law says.
We really need to understand that this is a fundamental difference between Republicans and the far left that have taken over the Democratic Party.
This is not the party of JFK.
And while gas prices and grocery prices are really astronomical, the most I've ever paid in my lifetime, uh the cost of the border catastrophe is going to be off the charts, and it's gonna be something that lasts for longer than one news cycle because the cartels and the gangs have seized operational control of the southern border, and you and I talked about this, Sean.
There is a record amount of fentanyl and methamphetamine flowing into this country.
And it's killing what, 300 kids on average a week.
That's how bad it is.
They're even putting fentanyl.
I don't know if you've been following this.
They're making fake pain pills and they're putting them in that.
They're putting them in fake Xanax pills.
Uh it it obviously is in cocaine and and heroin uh and and painkillers like Perkocet, OxyContin, Vicodin, you name it.
Now they're putting it in in weed.
And kids are now ODing that way.
You saw these kids from West Point, you know, they're on spring break and and what whatever they took, they nearly died.
They were saved by Narcam, but barely.
Yeah, and the West Point kids, um, you know, they're they're in our thoughts and prayers, and it just shows you how this can affect anyone or anyone anywhere.
I mean, literally, you have West Point cadets, and it's not only that the the drugs were, you know, cut or contaminated with fentanyl or dangerous levels of fentanyl, two milligrams of fentanyl can be fatal.
And you had to be.
Explain what the size of that is.
If you take the size of a grain of salt and you take two grains of salt, but it's fentanyl, three grains, it could kill a 250-pound man.
Absolutely.
And that's why someone was trying to resuscitate, someone was doing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and ended up ODing, or you know, he didn't die, but he ended up overdosing on just that small amount.
So we are talking about something that literally that is so fatal and so dangerous that when I when I talk about last year in Arizona, we seized nine million illegal fentanyl pills.
I mean, that's enough to kill the entire population of the state.
And we know, I know as a prosecutor from a gang prosecutor, that this stuff's not staying in Arizona, Sean.
This is coming to a neighborhood near you, from Manhattan, New York to Manhattan, Kansas, to Manhattan Beach.
This is going to undermine our quality of life and destroy our communities.
And so you have the Biden administration with this systematic assault on our public safety, with you know, not back in the blue, um, the fact that there's a lot of people's kids, nieces, nephews, sons, daughters are gonna die as a result of these policies, and then you throw on top of it record inflation, a 40-year high.
The fact that most people, like my mom and her friends from church, are worried about how they're gonna, you know, pay for milk and gas because prices are rising way faster than they have the ability to make up for it.
And you know, when you're someone that's eighty-seven years old like my mom, that's lived through communism, lived through World War II, um, you know, raised some good kids, and now she's at that point in your life where she just wants to be able to garden, you know, take care of her roses, talk to her friends from church and watch Wheel of Fortune, and now she has to stress out because of what Joe Biden's doing.
It's to me it's unconscionable.
So let's talk a little bit about your governing philosophy, because this gets to the heart of why I'm supporting candidates like you and candidates like Dr. Roz in Pennsylvania in the primary and candidates like Herschel Walker, and and I have nothing against the other people that are running, but the but I only support people that I personally know to be solid, America first, make America great again, save America, Reagan Trump conservatives.
That's that's who I am.
So tell us your governing philosophy so the people in Arizona, you know, can distinguish between you and Mark Kelly, the most reliable vote that Chucky Schumer has.
Sean, I grew up here at Arizona, and as I said, my parents lived through World War II and communism, and I think that when your family is not just studied history but lived it, you have a unique appreciation for how important freedom and liberty are.
As Ronald Reagan used to remind us, it's never more than one generation away from extinction.
So my entire career, whether it was working as a paper boy, whether it was working as a gang prosecutor, whether it's working as a federal prosecutor, and now even as AG, it's always been about the rule of law.
What does the rule of law require?
Because that's what separates us from the world.
No, we don't have the rule.
We have we do not have equal justice under the law, I would argue, Mr. Attorney General, respectfully, and you just argued before the Supreme Court what a two weeks ago.
Um and I don't I don't think we have equal application of our laws.
And Joe Biden, I would argue to you, if if I were to do what he's doing, and that is, you know, not only did he bring back hatch and release, he put it on steroids, it's catch process and then give free transportation To the state of your choice.
Now, if I did that, I think I would think I could get arrested for human trafficking.
Am I wrong?
Yeah, the problem is, Sean, because he's the president, he's charged with executing the laws, um, it's really Congress that needs to step up and either cut off funding or impeach the president of the United States or but the laws of the land do not allow we have uh do not allow for people to enter the country illegally.
Yeah.
He's not only allowing it, he's aiding and abetting and assisting in the law breaking.
And then he's transporting people with our tax dollars to every state in the union.
Absolutely.
And that's why, as you know, we've been involved in so many lawsuits against him.
The one last week where we won, basically where the federal judge struck down Joe Biden's permanent guidance, and that was the policy where ICE was not picking up people with detainers and deporting them and literally releasing criminals into our neighborhoods, not just in Arizona, but throughout the country.
So we won that case.
And the case you referenced, the public charge case, that was the rule that basically says that if you're not a citizen, you can't be dependent on the federal government for or state government for welfare benefits.
And I always tell folks this is the land of opportunity, but it is not the land of the welfare state.
So I continue to fight with all the tools in my toolbox, Sean, to push back and hold the Biden administration accountable in front of federal judges, even all the way up to U.S. Supreme Court.
Um, but ultimately I think you know, one of the reasons a big reason why I'm running for the U.S. Senate is because we need people in Washington, DC that understand that you cannot be an enabler.
You cannot allow the federal government and the president to get away with undermining the rule of law.
All right, quick break more with the attorney general of the great state of Arizona, Mark Bernovich, also Senate candidate that I'm supporting.
Attorney General and Senate candidate uh Mark Bernovich from Arizona is with us.
Then we'll get to your calls 800-941 Sean.
The one Senator from your state that has impressed me that does not is not a reliable Schumer vote is Kristen Cinema.
What's your relationship like with her?
Well, I I have a good relationship with with uh Senator Cinema, but I will say and I will remind folks that in 2018 I got more votes in cinema or McSally, even though I had these out of state left wing groups of people like Tom Steyer spending millions attacking me because I'm a principled rule law conservative.
And at the end of the day, Senator Cinema, although she stood up to Schumer, remember she still voted for budget bills that helped, you know, the COVID relief bill that really kicked off a lot of the inf inflation we're seeing because the federal government and the Democrats are essentially printing money and threatening to raise taxes when we're about to go into a recession.
And so uh, you know, why I I have a decent relationship with Senator Cinema, her and I differ on policies and we differ on the size and scope of the federal government, and I would remind her and everyone else that any government that's big enough to give you everything is big enough to take it away.
And federalism has to mean something, and that means that issues of public health, safety, welfare, education, those were issues that were supposed to be mentally left to the states and not the federal government.
And any time we see that authority, the federal government, we're not going to get it back.
So we need people in Washington, D.C. that understand federalism and understand that as government gets bigger, it becomes bloated, inefficient, and as the framers worried, it becomes oppressive.
All right, Attorney General Mark Burnovich running for Senate.
We with our support in Arizona, uh Attorney General, thank you, sir, for being with us.
We will always love having you.
Thank you for being here.
Uh 800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, we'll get to your calls coming up.
Quick break right back.
All right, 25 till the top of the hour.
We'll get to your calls for this half hour.
Uh I just gotta play just for kicks and giggles.
I mean, there's a lot of serious stuff going on in the world.
I mean, inflation, by the way, sending your Easter costs soaring, as I said earlier, consumer consumer confidence, an 11-year low.
Uh the Biden administration, the idiots that they are with record high gas prices and a 40-year high of inflation.
Yeah, what are they doing?
They're about to slam automakers with a billion dollars a new cost for them.
They want to raise taxes over a trillion dollars.
They call a billionaire tax uh the because it sounds like it's the evil rich people, but it's really people that make uh millions of dollars, not not billions.
And by the way, I don't know those people that don't pay their taxes.
If you don't, you're an idiot because you'll end up in jail.
Uh but anyway, but I still get kicks and giggle.
I don't know.
I hate all these people in Hollywood.
I think Chris Rock is funny.
I think he handled this thing with Will Smith uh the right way.
I think uh I thought it was real.
There's a lot of friends of mine say, uh, come on, Hannity, they're act it was all act.
I'm like, why would Chris Rock want to be slapped in the face on national television and not do anything back?
Because I wouldn't agree to that under any circumstances.
What does he get out of this?
Nothing.
He recovered well, he was a total pro in my view, but you know, the he can say anything he wants.
You start talking about somebody's wife or somebody's kids or somebody's mother, you know, odds can be pretty high when I was growing up, and I know this is toxic masculinity, so forgive me for a moment.
Uh odds are, you know, somebody might react to it.
And it appeared real to me, but you decide.
Jada, I love you.
GI Jane too, can't wait to see it.
Alright.
That was a nice one.
Okay.
I'm out here.
Uh oh.
Richard.
Oh, wow.
Wow.
Will Smith do smack the ****.
Keep my wife's name out your **** mouth.
Bye.
Wow, dude.
Yeah.
It was a G. I. Janger.
Keep my wife's name out your foo.
I'm going to.
Okay.
Oh, okay.
I just thought it was real.
Some people don't think it's real.
But, you know, and then the rest of us realize this way more important issues in the world.
Chuck in Texas.
Chuck, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
I'm knocking my guy.
Are you there, Chuck?
Oh, yeah.
I can barely hear you.
Let me get a better line for you.
Stay right there.
Uh let's say hi to Wayne in Pennsylvania.
Wayne, you're on the Sean Hannity show.
Glad you called.
Sean, how are you?
I'm good, sir.
What's going on?
It's a pleasure to talk to you.
Hey, I don't know.
It did seem real to me last night, you know.
And it's a good way to get ratings up for that, you know.
Yeah, but people would have to know I don't know what w Linda, do you know at what point during this stupid show that they have every year that I can't stand that it happened?
Was it early?
Was it late?
Do you know?
I have zero idea when it's a good idea.
I know, I know that it was later in the evening, like after eleven ish.
Okay, that's when my blown up.
Probably why I didn't see it till this morning, because I just like I did all my work and I was done, and I just put my my phone down and I'm done.
Um that seemed real to me.
Yeah, I turned the TV on just to put on the news channel that I watch in the morning.
Right.
Just to get Stephanophilus' uh um little.
Why would you watch that political hack?
Why would you waste time with that?
I don't waste time with it.
I just want to see where they are.
I like to keep my enemies close, they say.
All right, I got it.
Yeah, so yeah, and I listened to you religiously and also Maharashi when he was still with us.
God rest his soul.
Yeah, God rest we miss him.
Yes.
And what I was saying was Dr. Carson, Ben Carson, was talking about the use of nuclear weapons.
Now, I understand that Russia really doesn't wanna it almost seems like this is just a diversion.
I think those two might be in cahoots, him and China.
I don't think there's I think there's no doubt about it.
I think right now the deal is is China's getting really low cost energy from Putin, especially compared to what the world what what the market price is.
I think there's a wink and a nod, and I think it's okay.
We're gonna support your territorial ambitions and you're gonna support ours when we take Taiwan.
Now, that conspiratorial, nope, it's speculation on my part.
I can't say for sure, but the actions and statements of President Chi indicate that's where it's headed.
Yes, I would agree with that 100%.
And it's it's not it's not unlike us to have two fronts going at once, but I don't think we can do that with our current leader.
Yeah, listen, it's uh I I I don't think Joe or the world is gonna lift a finger with China.
No.
I don't think they're gonna lift a finger, and I'm staying where I'm staying true to what I've said.
No American boots on the ground.
We can help uh if they're not arming Taiwan now, they're making a a strategic mistake, just like they made in Afghanistan and just like they've made with Ukraine.
Uh anyway, good call.
Thanks, Wayne.
Appreciate you.
Uh thanks for being with us.
All right, we do have Chuck back in Texas on a different line.
Chuck, you're not on a sports illustrated football phone, are you?
Sir?
What's going on, sir?
I'm pretty much.
I'm just driving back from Cork's Christie back to San Antonio at a transport driver, so I get to listen to you every day along with you in the great one.
Oh, thank you so much.
And thanks for what you do for a living.
Yes, sir.
I I did have a question here.
You know how you always talk about, you know, you can't make this stuff up.
Well, I think it was a good one for you.
Remember all that money Obama dropped down in those pallets, it was unmarked Swiss Frank?
Yep.
I bet you somehow or another that money for nine sound payment on all that uranium that Hillary and uh Obama snuck out through Canada into Russia.
Somehow, I don't see those two as related.
I just see them I see this as you know, complete stupidity capitulation, and I I I will never understand why we would not be energy independent, uh, work closely with countries like Canada and Mexico,
and why Joe is gonna give t tens of billions more dollars to Iran, uh, why he's gonna make the Mullers rich again, and he's gonna let Putin build a nuclear facility there and allow energy oil to be imported from Iran, and why he's kissing the ass of that dictator in Venezuela and and kissing the ass of OPEC nations.
I don't get it.
Well, if you saw the signs down here on I-37, I-35, and I-10 going throughout Texas, you understand how much Donald Trump is missed because there's signs all over the place talking about 2024, the other side of his garbage, you know, signs like that.
So I I think there's a lot going on, and a lot of people might see it, at least they're not talking about, but I see it every day.
Everybody needs to start getting really, really excited about November.
Uh and make sure your states have integrity, voter integrity issues in place.
And especially the swing states, because we need them.
Uh anyway, Chuck, we appreciate it.
Big time, AJ, Houston, Texas.
What's going on, baby?
Big time Sean Honey.
How are you doing, big daddy?
Oh, man.
Hey, Sean, right quick.
Hey, now, you took Marshall, you take martial arts and everything.
I trained four days a week.
I trained for two hours today.
And you ain't gonna let nobody smack you upside you here.
Like, I don't care where you're at.
Uh you can't tell me you let somebody come up.
And the way it was set, I mean, he had time to do the duck and dodge, and you I know you good at ducking and dodging them punches when they're coming at you, no matter how you sat with it.
We we train hard.
Listen, I don't think Chris Rock, though, and I'm looking, I looked at the tape again and again and again.
I don't think Chris saw that coming.
I thought he it was like it was gonna be all right, he's gonna grab him by the collar or something.
And then when he sat down and he starts with, keep my wife's name out of your effing mouth.
And he said it twice, and he was angry.
Jada, I love you.
G. I Jane 2, can't wait to see it.
Alright?
It's Jalazan!
That was a nice one.
Okay.
I'm out here.
Uh-oh.
Richard.
Oh, wow.
Wow.
Will Smith is smack.
Out your food.
Wow, dude.
Yeah.
It was a G.I. Jange up.
Keep my wife's name out your foo.
I'm going to, okay.
Oh, okay.
Um, so I thought it was real.
You you may be one of my friends that thinks it's fake.
I don't well, why would Chris Rock allow himself to be, you know, slapped in the face on national TV?
That's the million dollar question right there.
Why would he allow being smacked in the face and knowing Chris Rock?
I've been watching the city.
I don't think he expected it.
That's the point.
By the way, I met Chris Rock once at an event.
It was a fundraising event of John MacEnroe.
And uh I was asked to attend.
It was I this is when I would occasionally go to events.
I don't do them.
I was shocked Chris Rock was there.
And anyway, uh he I I met him briefly.
He's he's like a lot of I guess performers in person.
He's an entirely different person.
He's like shy, demure, quiet, you know, seemingly uncomfortable in crowds.
I would kind of shock me a little bit.
Yeah, but the thing of it is, let's don't get off with college.
No, I agree.
I agree.
We've talked about it enough.
I've just I'm doing it for kicks and giggles.
I don't know.
I need a break once in a while.
Hey, right quick.
Will was laughing at first.
And then when Jada gave him that look, that's when he changed it.
Look at the video again, Sean.
That's what I'm saying.
I did see that.
She looked at him.
And I'm like, well, whoa, if you were mad in the beginning, you shouldn't have been laughing at the joke because you heard the joke.
So why are you laughing at first?
I happen to like Chris Rock.
I I think he's funny as hell.
Like Dave Chappelle.
Dave is smart.
Dave is a really you you gotta he makes you think about his jokes.
He's really is brilliant.
And I like a lot of comedians, and I like that they have the freedom.
However, I don't know, maybe um old school.
I I'm I'm betting big time AJ's old school too.
You could say what you want, but if you talk about something as personal as this, talk about somebody's wife or or mother or kids, I don't know.
Where I grew up, I I'd I'd watch my back at that point.
John Rodney talk about his wife, but he wasn't married.
They talk about his daughter.
He wasn't married.
But back and I back and on to each other.
You can talk and joke with each other's wife and everybody and do all that.
And nobody never got to be able to do it.
You see, you're suffering from toxic masculinity.
That's the problem.
Whatever the hell that by the way, Linda, what the hell is toxic masculinity anyway?
Hi, AJ, by the way.
How are you, sweetheart?
How are you, sweetheart?
You called him sweetheart.
Listen, AJ and I go way back.
We've been talking for a very long time.
I found him when I was still call screening, so I'm just saying.
It's been a minute.
But all that to say, yeah, toxic masculinity is a new way of saying that if you have any feelings other than what the woke culture has approved, you're canceled.
That's what it is.
There you go.
Because I know Linda ain't gonna sit and let that happen to her.
How can she live in the city?
AJ, I made that very point.
I was like, you know what?
If I was winning an academy award and Chris Rock talked about my husband, and I happen to be very angry, I would say to Chris Rock very gently, outside after the after party, I'd say, Chris, come here for a minute.
I need to talk to you.
Outside, you know, in the dark, where there's no cameras in an alley.
You know, we're just gonna talk amongst friends.
No big deal.
That's how you handle it.
You know, I just think it was more real the way it happened.
And I I know I'm not supposed to say this, but I grew up as and I played a lot of hockey growing up.
I played a lot, and there was never a day that I can remember that somebody didn't drop their gloves at some point, fight it out, put your gloves back on, and get back and play.
And it was it was not a big deal, it was normal to me.
And I know that I'm maybe I'm not supposed to tell the truth that that's how I grew up, but that's how I grew up.
And so it it doesn't offend me.
I'm not feigning outrage like like people always want and acting like a phony.
I'm just saying it's not a big deal to me.
Okay, you know, it's a per I think the I I think Will and his I I think that whole thing with them is just weird.
So can I just say one thing libertarian, go do your thing?
I agree with you on everything you're saying except for one point.
What's that?
Absolutely.
No, no, no, not even that.
Putting aside that, you know, he cracked on somebody's wife.
It doesn't even to me, it doesn't matter if he said it about a medical condition or just said she looked bad in her dress, or just said, you know, she was, you know, had what whatever the comment would be.
If somebody's talking about somebody who's you're a significant other, you're gonna get upset and you're gonna stand up and you're gonna say something.
I have no problem with that.
But it's just like you're there, you're being nominated for a huge award.
It's a big moment.
Don't make the night about this negative thing.
Make it about the positive thing about a story that you did about two like two positive groups.
Quoted comments brilliant.
You know, when you're when you're at your highest, the devil's at his strongest.
Meaning because you're your ego's puffed up, and you don't want to be in there.
You want to remain humble.
You know, there's a t song by Tim McGross, stay humble and true.
I mean, it's it's how we all should be in life, but we often, you know, we get all puffed up.
Anyway, um I got it, we've got to run them looking at the clock.
All right, that's gonna wrap things up for today.
The very latest on the war, the battle, the conflict, the invasion of Putin of Ukraine.
We have Newt Gingrich, Kelly Ann Conway, Ari Fleischer, Mike Huckabee, Ted Cruz, Leo 2.0, Terrell, Kaylee McEnaney, Adam Carolla.
We'll have obviously the latest.
We'll show you the video of this Will Smith Chris Rock thing and give you our take on that.
I know, toxic masculinity.
Nine Eastern Hannity tonight, Fox News.
We'll see you then.
You make this show possible.
We can't thank you enough, and then we'll see you back here tomorrow.
