Simple man Leonard Skinner means only one thing, and that's all things.
Uh Bill O'Reilly and all things O'Reilly at BillO'Reilly.com.
Uh I had somebody actually challenge me over whether or not you really are a simple man.
And I said, he's not a simple man.
He claims to be a simple man, but he's not.
And you know, we kind of joke about it.
We have we have some fun with it.
I said he's actually very complicated.
And he goes, Yeah, but sometimes Bills could just break it, goes right down and breaks it down to where we the we the folks, and I'm like, oh my God.
This is like Bill O'Reilly sycophant number 101 here.
You're just jealous, Hannity.
I'm not jealous at all.
I'm not at all.
Not even a little bit.
Listen to me, understand the simple man concept.
Oh man.
Life is not that complicated.
We should have a good indication of who won the governorship in this in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
I don't think New Jersey is in play like others have are proclaiming, but we'll see.
But Virginia definitely, according to the polls, is in play.
So looking into your simple man looking glass crystal ball, what do you see one week from today when you're back on the program?
Um I said in July McAuliffe was going to lose.
It's a bold prediction.
Yeah, I'm I'm standing by that.
And the reason is that even though Virginia is now a blue state, most of the folks in the Commonwealth are not ideologues as they are in the big cities like LA and New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. Okay.
The people who live uh right next to Washington in Fairfax County and some in Loudoun County, they are ideologues.
But the majority, the vast majority of Commonwealth of Virginia citizens are regular folks.
When you sit down at Thanksgiving dinner, Hannity, your dinner is the way the most the most expensive Thanksgiving dinner in history.
Now, if you can't afford it, Bill, I'm in um I fry my turkey in my Master Bill Turkey Fryer.
And if you've never had I bet you've never had a fried turkey, have you?
I I probably have not, Hannity, but if you're gonna give me free food, I will come over.
I actually am a very good cook.
Uh I enjoy cooking, but it is the juiciest.
It is the best, the tastiest turkey you'll ever have.
It's gonna be the most expensive.
Now let's get back to why the people in Virginia are gonna reject McAuliffe.
Okay.
Because once you get into your house.
And remember, last year, Thanksgiving dinner was um as inexpensive as it had been in ten years.
Just remember that.
So there's gonna be a huge comparison between last year and this year.
And people know, particularly women voters, and many of them rejected Donald Trump and voted Democrat last time around.
They know that they're paying a lot more for food and a lot more for oil and gas.
Now, McCaulliff is by the way, that assumes that the women do most of the cooking.
I can tell you uh like I do all the grocery shopping.
If you do ever go grocery shopping?
I I wasn't a 7-Eleven a couple of weeks ago.
Does that no, that doesn't only if you're buying Jewel Lee Sigs, that's it.
No.
Grocery shows frighten me.
There's carts and there's like fresh stuff, and I don't know what's going on.
But anyway, um McCollough is the poster boy for the democratic progressive establishment.
Uh you know, he's Hillary Clinton's buddy.
Long, long history, and he's not a bad guy, by the way.
You know him, I know him.
I I like him as as a guy.
But he stands for these progressive policies that are hurting working Americans and therefore, combined with the insane Loudoun County parental C RT and the poor little girl who got raped in that school system, combined with that, I think that Yuncan is going to win by maybe two or three points.
Let's just assume a week from today it turns out Yuncan wins.
Yes.
How will that impact the political mindset on the country for 2022 and for?
Well, in many states like Virginia, where the ideological component is not overwhelming, that'll certainly have a deleterious effect, word of the day, on the Democratic Party.
But I try to emphasize to my viewers and listeners there are three states that are never in our lifetime going to vote for a traditional or a Republican.
Can I guess?
Go ahead.
California, New York, Illinois.
You got it.
So you combine those electoral votes, and you have an enormous advantage.
But the rest of the states are in play.
And the signal that Virginia will send is these democratic policies are not working.
They are not working.
You are going to get hurt.
You know, I I was on a beach in my house, and I'm lucky enough to have uh a house at my backyard.
By the way, Bill G O'Reilly goes grocery shopping at 7 Eleven.
Oh, is that a beach at my house?
And yet you say you're a simple man.
I I work for it.
You can be a simple man and be on the beach.
Come on.
Have you ever seen these big movements?
A beach at my house is a big big distinction.
But go ahead.
A big time liberal, and you know this guy.
Oh, I know I know exactly who you're talking about.
Okay.
Was on the beach with his wife, and we're looking at the beautiful water.
This was before Biden was elected, and I said to him, I looked him in the eye, I said, You may hate Trump, okay?
But if this man gets elected, Biden, you are gonna suffer financially, and all your grandchildren are gonna suffer in the whole shebang.
And that has proved one hundred percent correct.
And that is the big driver of societal change in America.
My lead story on Monday night was Joe Biden had to happen.
He had to happen in order for this country to regain its sanity.
Because Biden is behind all of this woke madness.
He's behind the socialism.
He doesn't even know he's behind it.
You do know that he's unveiling a plan to end cash bail for violent criminals.
You do know that's how that's his gender equity plan.
But here's my let's take it a little bit deeper, because you're you're right on the money.
And when you gave me my non-cupcake interview for Live Free or Die, this is what I was predicting.
And I went into great specificity, and I think I actually even slightly impressed you, which is not an easy thing to do.
But when I did that interview with you, I predicted all of this would happen.
I didn't think it would happen this fast.
Now, when you look at Afghanistan, then you add the border.
You you talked about people that go shopping.
I happen to do the grocery shopping for myself every week.
I like it.
I don't know why, I just do.
But you know, you know my background.
Uh we have very similar backgrounds, and I still think like a poor person, the guy that couldn't pay his rent and had to struggle every month.
I still think that way.
And I'm paying three dollars more for a pound of thick-cut Oscarmeyer bacon.
Every item I pay more for.
I'm paying an extra twenty-five bucks to fill up my gas tank, and it's gonna cost me, you know, fifteen hundred dollars more this year to heat my home.
Now I can afford it, Bill.
I have no right to whine or complain about this country.
But my problem is all of it's preventable, and the people Democrats claim to have so much compassion for, the poor and middle class are getting killed here.
And I know because that was most of my life.
And that's the tipping point.
So Biden had to happen in order for people to step back and say, do we really want progressive policies to run this country?
And I predict the answer will be a resounding no.
One of the reasons I put Together this Trump O'Reilly history tour, and I did preview it last week when I interviewed the 45th president.
Was I said to him, how did you contain inflation when Biden can't contain it?
I have the answer.
Can I guess again?
Well, you want to know what he said, or do you want to just get No, I'm gonna guess what he said.
Okay, go.
One of the most underreported accomplishments of Donald Trump was bringing this country to energy independence.
It's the lifeblood of the entire economy, Bill.
That's what he said.
He said, because I was able to stimulate the energy industry, all prices came down.
And so you and him are sympathetic.
By the way, you should have watched that interview, Hannity.
You were supposed to I don't have a free account at Bill O'Reilly.com.
I need a link on December 11th in Lauderdale for Lauderdale, Florida.
If you're gonna be there, I hope you will be, because we have a little role for you to play there if you want.
I definitely want to make it to one of the shows.
And I'm gonna try and make it to that.
Was it on a weekend?
Yes, it's Saturday, of course, December 11th.
And and all you have to do is do your food shopping on Friday, and then fly down after.
No, I do it.
I do it Sunday after the weekend rush is over.
That's when I usually go.
There's my secret.
Well, you can't buy fresh uh fresh squeezed uh OJ anymore because it's too expensive.
But but the central theme is I think McCawff will go down.
The message will be sent to nine uh non-ideologues, just regular folks who may have voted Democrat because of one reason or another, that this isn't working.
This woke stuff isn't working, the economy isn't working, all of this crazy left stuff has got to go.
And if that happens, then the election of Joe Biden served a purpose.
All right, quick break, right back, we'll continue.
800 nine four one Sean, our number more with Bill O'Reilly, all things O'Reilly or Bill O'Reilly.com.
Quick break, right back, we'll continue.
Hey there.
I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started normally a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass.
You're our kind of people.
Catch new episodes of Normally every Tuesday and Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen.
 We continue with Bill O'Reilly.
If this does if this political earthquake occurs, all the polls indicate Republicans have the best shot at taking back the House in 2022.
Now, 2022 is going to get interesting also because I don't think the era of big government is over, the end of welfare as we know it.
Biden's not capable of being Bill Clinton that I can see as of today.
He's not.
It's not capable.
Here's the headline.
But wait, but I want to ask you this.
So if he's not capable, then we have a Senate seat in Florida, Georgia.
Uh we have one in South Carolina, North Carolina, New Hampshire.
Uh we have one in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arizona, and Nevada.
Now, Bill, I just named every key swing state, bellwether state.
So in 2022, we'll know where the country is politically.
Now my question is have to have to use up.
You were with Trump.
The Republican Party has to coalesce around a message, a simple message.
Agreed.
And they have to wise up and stop being looked at as people who don't get anything done.
But but here's the headline that again I predicted and no one else has, Hannity.
No one else.
If the Republicans take the House next November, a year from now, Joe Biden's going to get impeached.
And he's going to get impeached because he is not enforcing immigration law.
It's a simple play.
It will happen.
Now, the Republicans should not campaign on that.
Let me repeat, should not campaign on that because Americans don't like this impeachment stuff.
But I can guarantee you that articles of impeachment will be will be drawn up against Joe Biden for failing to enforce immigration law.
That would be interesting.
I don't have a prediction on that.
Here's my last question, though.
Now, people seeing the Biden woke the you know, uh new Green Deal socialist, you know, no bail for violent criminal disaster open borders, no energy independence.
Now, what is that?
How does this impact Donald Trump's position in the minds of the American people?
A guy that accomplished a lot, but also, you know, stylistically rub some people the wrong way.
All right.
So that's the reason I'm going out on the Trump O'Reilly history tour to get on the record.
Remember, all of these will be videotaped.
All four shows.
Lauderdale, Orlando, Houston, Dallas.
Get on the record what he did and how he did it.
And it's not going to be a cupcake interview, Hannity, as you well know.
Okay.
This is going to be very precise and specific.
By the way, it's where only O'Reilly will say, Honey, I'll put you on my show.
This is big for you, but it's it's not going to be a cupcake interview.
Yeah, I gotta be honest, you know, and it wasn't.
I'm always nice to you for crying out loud, and you're threatening to like you know jump down my throat.
Oh, is it threatening?
I was just telling you this way it's gonna be expect a cup.
Don't expect a cupcake interview, Hannity.
I'm gonna come right down your throat.
Okay, go ahead.
All right.
But getting back to Trump, once he gets on the record, what happened, because it's never been reported by the corrupt press, then he's got to change his style.
And I told him that.
I think you've told him that.
He's got to look forward in a problem solving way, and not backward.
He has to do it.
The only thing I would add to it, if he does it, he got a good chance.
I agree with you.
Now we agree.
Now, by looking forward, that would include we do need election integrity measures in states because laws weren't followed in 2020.
The states have to do it.
But he can champion that large.
So anyway, you and I are a simpatico on this.
I don't know.
BillO'Reilly.com.
Oh, by the way, he's now sold four stops only, almost sold out everywhere.
Um tens of thousands of people have already purchased their tickets.
You can get him at BillO'Reilly.com if you want to see the tour with President Trump.
I'll be at one of the stops, hopefully.
Uh, Mr. O'Reilly, thank you, sir.
800-941 Sean, our number.
You want to be a part of the program.
Remember, are...
When news breaks, you get the inside story that no one else has.
And the behind the scenes chatter that the mainstream media doesn't even know about.
This is the Sean Hannity show.
All right, 25 till the top of the hour, 20 uh 800-941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, we'll get to your calls here in a minute.
As I mentioned earlier, Thanksgiving will be the most expensive meal.
Thanksgiving meal in history.
Even Turkey prices alone now up 70%.
But everything is costing more.
A lot of this is rooted, as we were talking about with Bill O'Reilly earlier, in the fact that energy prices have skyrocketed, and that impacts every aspect of the economy and disproportionately hurts the poor and middle class the most.
I mean, it's just not good.
Independents now have lost all faith in Biden's ability to fix the economy.
Home price is now up a record 19.9%.
Even Lawrence uh Summers is saying, uh, no, inflation is here to stay.
That impacts every single American in major, major ways.
Then you got the stubborn supply chain woes and the sticker shock that everybody's seeing.
Just look at how much more you're paying to fill up your gas tank.
Look at how much more you're you're paying to heat and cool your home.
Look at the costs of everything you buy in every grocery store, home depot, Lowe's, and pharmacy that you go to.
Now you're gonna add to all of this, let's see, cops and teachers and nurses and ambulance and EMT responders and our military.
Uh, we already have a shortage.
Now we're gonna fire these people because of Joe's vaccine mandate.
Many of the people that work in industries at the worst moments of COVID that were diving on COVID grenades every second of every day.
And nothing is being discussed to fix this except the it will cost you zero three point five trillion dollar new Green Deal build back better nonsense that they're trying to shove right down our throat.
And it looks like they're working as hard as they ever have to get this done.
And if it happens, that's not going to have a good impact on the economy.
That I can tell you.
You know, Manchin is now saying, well, it looks like we have the framework for a deal.
Now we're talking about billionaire taxes and millionaire taxes.
Okay, at some point billionaires and millionaires are going to take their money elsewhere.
Then we're going to tax unrealized capital gains.
In other words, well, we think that if you sold your asset today, you'd get a 20% profit, and this is money you've already paid taxes on.
This is your money now that you are putting at risk in some investment.
Maybe maybe it's an IRA fund, even something simple as that.
Maybe it's a property that you purchased.
Maybe it's whatever it happens to be.
They're going to put an estimate cost on what the capital gains is.
It it's a phantom capital gain until you actually realize the capital gain.
Most people, have you not had something you thought was worth X, and when you then try to sell it, maybe it's an old car that all you can get for that car is Y, which is a lot less of than what you thought you were gonna get for it.
Anyway, 800 941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the uh program, uh, we're gonna get an update on what's going on in the Senate from Cynthia Lumus of Wyoming.
She's fighting back, uh, and she believes that we have a a right and a duty and an obligation to push back against the overextending arm of government.
Uh, the one good thing is is that Manchin said that this IRS uh will look at you know anybody's six hundred dollar transaction in a bank or ten thousand dollars annually transaction, which is ninety percent of people.
Uh, but anyway, Senator, welcome to the program.
How are you?
I'm well, Sean, and you're right.
Uh in fact, I talked to Wyoming bankers just today who said that they already have uh customers closing their accounts, withdrawing their money in anticipation of the IRS snooping on their bank accounts.
That's going to happen regardless of whether the IRS takes their uh minimum from 600 to 10,000 a year.
And so this proposal has all America up in arms, credit union customers, bank customers, uh, and then you throw in the topic you just raised about taxing unrealized capital gains, which is a property tax.
That's not a tax on income.
And then all of a sudden, the US Constitution kicks in.
That money has to be shared with the state under the Constitution, if it's a property tax.
So the kinds of proposals that Democrats are talking about on Capitol Hill in order to raise the money in tax revenue to pay for their wild spending idea is completely unprecedented.
Let me ask you, I saw that uh apparently added to this and everything, and even Manchin said today that the devil's gonna be in the writing and the details of the bill, but I read somewhere that they're now proposing uh to tax the step up in basis on one's death tax.
Now, a death tax is you you you you pay your your federal income taxes, your state taxes, your sale taxes, all the taxes.
Okay, then you you maybe get a capital gain at some point, take in the money that you saved and making a risky investment, you make money, okay, you pay taxes again, then you die, and then you have to pay what 40% of the federal government, Bernie Sanders wants it at 70%.
But anyway, it's one of the the the step up in basis on the death tax code, it's been in place for a century, and it's one of the main reasons families make multi-generational long-term property investments like farmers and ranchers, for example.
And if you take away the step up and basement and and basis, it would create a disincentive to invest in the long term because that would ensure even less capital flowing into real estate.
Now, whether a generational property transfer is taxed at the proposed thirty-one point eight percent capital gains rate or the higher proposed ordinary income rate of forty six point four percent, it may also face a forty-five percent death tax.
Now you tell me, how does that how does that help any American?
All over the country, we're trying to keep the family in the family ranch.
The family in the farm.
We have had people leaving farming and ranching over the decades by the scores.
The ones that are still in it are the ones that are producing the food and fiber for this country.
And if you don't have uh a stepped up basis anymore, that means that you will be taxed on the value of the property when maybe your grandfather or great grandfather acquired that property right up until its value in this century.
And that all there's that leads to one conclusion, Sean.
They have to sell the farm or ranch.
They have to sell the property to pay the tax.
It is one of the most confiscatory proposals the Democrats could ever come up with.
And it's devastating to small family businesses, especially in agriculture.
Well, I mean, I I it really is unbelievable to me.
I mean, it seems like they want the gold in your teeth.
That's how I see it.
Um anyway.
And they will value that gold not at the price when they put that gold in your mouth.
They're gonna value it at today's prices.
And they're gonna charge you a tax on the difference.
Well, I will tell I mean it's just unconscionable.
This none of this is gonna work.
This is called this is why the economy is in the dire straits it's in.
You know, look at the border preventable, look at Afghanistan preventable.
Energy uh independence is now gone, and that we're now paying more for every item we buy.
Inflation is real, and the economy's getting worse.
My question to you is uh on a separate issue.
What's going on in Wyoming with Liz Cheney and company?
Because I'm watching Liz Cheney, and okay, Liz Cheney hates Donald Trump.
I understand that she's allowed to hate whoever she wants.
But as she now is been embraced by the very people that I remember, Senator that called her father a liar and a murderer.
Bush Cheney lied and people died.
The same people that wanted her father in jail for his work with Halliburton, for example.
And now the same people that were old cold warriors now aligned with the Biden agenda and aiding and abetting, you know, weakness on in North Korea, China, Iran, uh, all around the world, Putin, Russia, you name it.
And I'm just trying to figure out why is Liz Cheney uh why is she aligned herself with the very people that tried to destroy her father and her family?
Well, it's a very bizarre turn of events, uh, and she frequently makes reference to the uh rule of law as her reason for taking the approach she's taking.
Um I felt very strongly that I was supporting the rule of law uh when I took the stance I did on January 6th.
So I and I also felt I was following the rule of law uh when I voted not to impeach uh uh Donald Trump in the Senate, not to find him in guilty under the impeachment trial, uh, because you cannot uh find a former president guilty under impeachment.
So we have a obviously I have a very strong difference of opinion with uh with my Congresswoman.
But you know, the people of Wyoming will have a decision to make uh and I'm confident that the people of Wyoming are following this and that they'll make a very good decision uh once they've thought through all the issues.
All right, we appreciate you being with us, Senator 800-941 Shauna's on number you want to be a part of the program.
All right, like busy phones.
All right, Victoria is in Michigan.
Victoria apparently is a liberal.
What's up, Victoria?
Hi.
I'm a little bit nervous.
But why are you nervous?
Don't be nervous.
Let not your heart be troubled.
That's actually I you know I've I've thought of a lot of these these little aphorisms and that sort of thing.
When and one of them is the, you know, seek those seek those who are different from you and that like love those who are different from you and you're you're loving your neighbor and that sort of thing.
My neighbors on either side, they both have Trump signs out and that sort of thing.
My dad is a is is a Trump supporter.
When I was listening to your show yesterday, I'm listening to Roger Stone talk about his wife with stage four cancer, and I just I hear all of these things of people who they just really want the best for our our country.
And I hear that from both liberals and conservatives.
And I I feel like the the part that we're we're we are getting so divisive is where we lose faith that the that the other side, you know, you l you listed all of these things as as I was on hold that you know, like how could they think that this is good for this country?
I mean, I really I can't I can't tell you the answer to that, but I do.
I I have faith that every choice that people make is they they're they're doing what they think is right and what they want.
Let me ask you a question.
So you're a liberal and your parents are Donald Trump conservatives, right?
Yep.
Okay.
Let me ask you a question.
Do you think what Joe did in Afghanistan?
Let's go through this logically.
Joe Biden said 13 days before he abandoned Americans behind enemy lines, he wouldn't do it.
Does that bother you?
Yeah.
And that's that's another thing.
All right, no, no, no.
We're gonna go very quickly here.
Stay with me.
Just follow just track with me here.
Okay, you see the chaos on the border, and you see the you know, the lies being told about the border.
Oh, yeah, we don't need to COVID test people because they're not gonna be here very long, and they're dispersing people all over the country.
Millions of people will have a 35-year record at the end of this year of illegal immigrants, and Joe Biden's not enforcing the law of the land.
He is just processing people, and they're even given preferential treatment because they don't need a COVID test or a vaccine mandate.
Does that bother you?
Yeah.
We were energy independent under Donald Trump.
And we now we're paying about a buck fifty more per gallon, and everything else we buy is costing us a fortune more because of the high cost of energy.
Do you think that was a good Biden decision?
I'm a mom, so I haven't been pay I'm not I haven't been paying as close of attention to Victoria.
You're a mom.
Do you drive a car or a caravan or a minivan or something?
Yes.
But I guess my my main point is how much more are you paying to fill up your gas tank?
I don't know.
I really don't I don't know how much more it is.
I I knew I know we have a hybrid.
I go grocery shopping every week.
Do you go grocery shopping?
Yes.
Do you notice you're paying a lot more?
Honestly, I do notice the pri prices increase.
Yes.
All right.
Now I'm gonna ask you one last question.
Tell me one really good thing Joe Biden has done as president.
He's been there now, it's ten months.
You know what?
Honestly, I guess my main point that that and yes, I'm I'm completely avoiding the question because I I I I Well, no, no, I'm not gonna let you know.
I'm gonna I'm gonna be gentle about it, but look, but follow me.
Just name one good thing he's done.
You can't I but my point is though that when when something when something negative that Donald Trump does, I don't I don't hold my dad accountable for that and or any other I don't hold you account and say you must agree with every negative thing that he I'm sure that he's I know I've heard you criticize him, you know, like you uh I when I when I when I vote for Biden, I don't I I can still disagree with a lot of things that honestly he was the last choice that I would have wanted for for our president.
He really was.
But some of them did, yeah.
And that's a that's another thing.
I I'm fully willing to admit that and fully willing.
I I'm happy when when the America succeeds under no matter what, and I believe you guys are too.
You know, that's I got I have to let you go.
You sound like a lovely woman, and I know I'm pressing you a little bit, but I'm trying to get you to I'm trying to pick up.
No, I understand.
I'm trying to pierce through the thinking.
How old is your little one behind you?
He's three.
All right.
Tell him Uncle Sean said hi and uh and just keep an open mind.
Have have this have civil discussions with your with your mom and dad and your family and see see where you you might evolve politically.
Okay.
I will.
Thank you.
All right, Victoria.
God bless you and your little boy.
800-941 Shauna's her number.
