	I, you know, you just got to know we're all doomed.
	Sky is falling.
	End is near.
	Apocalypse is imminent.
	And we're all going to be dead in the next 72 hours.
	And why?
	Because Donald Trump and Vice President Pence and the Russians and the Ukrainians and the Chinese got in a laboratory and they created the coronavirus so that they could kill everybody and not do a thing about it because they want all of us to be sick and to die.
	I mean, obviously, the level of madness now, we've had nothing but three years of this.
	Let's call it Trump virus.
	If you're feeling awful, you know who to blame.
	How quickly, automatically, instinctively, reflexively now the left wants to blame Trump.
	It's really sick.
	It's, you know, especially on something like this.
	They are literally now politicizing and weaponizing almost in real time, instantaneously, in this particular case, an infectious disease.
	And it's only to use the coronavirus to bludgeon Trump politically.
	And Tom, and then he put Vice President Pence in charge.
	He's not a scientist.
	He doesn't believe in science.
	Yeah, he believes in science.
	Well, that's not the job of the person that's coordinating the efforts.
	The job of the person coordinating the efforts and organizing the response to coronavirus takes a whole different skill set.
	Yeah, he puts together the scientists.
	He puts together the experts.
	He puts together the plan and we implement it so we minimize to the extent possible the impact on the American people, which is what they have done from the very beginning.
	The great irony of all of this is you go back and the president has been acting on this from the get-go in ways that the liberal mob and the media never would want him to act.
	For example, when the president took the unprecedented step of preventing travelers from spreading the virus here, expanding screenings and quarantines, and suspending entry of foreign nationals that could pose a risk coming from a country where they have a higher rate of the coronavirus.
	Not one single Democrat supported that.
	Why do you think the numbers are as low as they are here?
	Because the president took that step early.
	Now, I don't want to downplay this.
	Of course, you take every disease seriously.
	You take every illness seriously.
	This is who we are.
	This is what we do.
	We have some good news on the horizon, both the Israelis, and I'll get into this a little bit more later, and this company I've been telling you about in Massachusetts, they have made tremendous progress, great strides, and think they are well on their way to having a vaccine in record time.
	Now, it's interesting.
	Where would that come from?
	That would come from free market capitalism.
	Great companies, great scientists, the best, the brightest the world has to offer.
	And we're on the cusp now of hopefully getting that vaccine.
	When we get the vaccine, what will we do with that vaccine?
	Well, we will share the vaccine or discovery with the entire world, as we always do.
	So it's always been taken seriously.
	And, you know, Mark Levin brought up a point last night.
	I hadn't even thought about it.
	You know, what has the president been doing?
	What have the Democrats been doing?
	Well, they locked up the U.S. Senate for two and a half weeks over this idiotic, well, we've got to do it urgently so we can go on our Christmas vacation.
	We got to do it urgently because it needs to be done now.
	We won't wait for a court decision to resolve a conflict between the legislative and executive branch.
	We won't let the judicial branch weigh in.
	We can't wait like we did with the Mueller investigation and the four or three other investigations in the Trump-Russia collusion.
	It exposes this mob in the media and it exposes these Democrats for who they are.
	You know, when you have moments where you kill a terrorist and you can't agree that that's a great thing, it shows you how deep the divide is and how psychotic they have become.
	This is nonstop.
	This is three years of this.
	This is the new radical extreme Democratic socialist party and, of course, state-run media, which is the mob, the 99% of the people in the media.
	And this is what the president did.
	This hasn't been done in over half a century.
	We have a president.
	No, there's a high incidence of coronavirus in your country.
	You can't get in.
	And he got criticized for it.
	It doesn't matter what he does.
	And the latest talking point, we heard it during that debacle debate the other night, is that, well, the president has been cutting the CDC and the NIH and health and human services.
	No, CDC and NIH now are up about $20 billion since Donald Trump became president.
	So another lie.
	But, you know, that's what they do.
	Weaponize, politicize anything because they want to get back power.
	Yeah, of course our experts are taking it seriously.
	The government's taking it seriously.
	We've got to do everything we can do to keep America and the world safe and healthy in every way.
	Of course, this is what we always do.
	You know, look, I would love a cure for AIDS, cancer, heart disease, and every other influenza, every other disease and affliction.
	The great news is American doctors, American researchers, and I will tip my hat to our friends in Israel, their doctors and researchers.
	We've led the world.
	And when we find cures or treatments or discoveries, what do we do?
	We share it with the world because that's who we are as a people.
	The fear-mongering is to score cheap political points.
	And the way you do it is you whip the country into a frenzy and you make it yet the latest attempt to blame Donald Trump.
	Now, I don't know if it gets bad.
	I mean, would we have to consider closing schools or whatever, mass transit, until it's contained?
	It's got that potential.
	We've been trying to avoid that.
	And the president, the best thing that he did was they utilized the option that they had to prevent travelers from spreading the virus here by expanding screening and suspending entry of foreign nationals.
	That might pose a higher risk of spreading it to Americans.
	That was the single best thing that the president did.
	Well, I want 8.5 billion.
	You're only offering 2.5 billion.
	My number means I care more about coronavirus than you care about coronavirus.
	That's how childish they are.
	If, okay, as the president said in his press conference the other day, he goes, right now, the situation is under control, but we're ready to adapt.
	We're ready to adapt.
	And whatever we need, we will do.
	We are ready to adapt, ready to do whatever we have to do if the disease begins to spread.
	We will be all over it.
	And both the president, vice president, others, yes, the threat right now is low.
	It is low.
	If that changes, as the president said, they will spend whatever is needed and appropriate.
	Okay?
	It should be something that is bipartisan, but it's not.
	You know, the flu in this country, you know, what killed 61,000 people in 2017.
	That's a lot of people.
	I wish those people didn't die.
	We wish nobody died from any illness or sickness or disease.
	I hate to tell you, we're all dying.
	Every one of us.
	We're in the process of dying because none of us are going to live forever.
	But the great news is, is the advancements we have in science and medicines and pharmaceuticals.
	You know, look at the president, the right to try.
	I love that bill.
	If you've been, if you tried every conventional treatment, it doesn't work.
	And there's some experimental drug or treatment that shows even the smallest bit of promise and you want to go for it.
	Yeah, now you have the right to do it, which didn't exist before Donald Trump.
	You got to hope this doesn't spread.
	And that's why the president is saying, okay, we're not taking in foreign nationals from countries that have higher incidences of coronavirus.
	And if you do come here, you're getting quarantined through the incubation period to make sure and tested that you don't have coronavirus.
	And if you do, well, then we obviously will have to send you back.
	Or the president gets criticized for taking Americans that had corona that were on a ship.
	Well, what were we supposed to do?
	Leave them there in the ship and let them die when we know the best medical care exists here?
	This is, you know, look at the New York Times just came right out with it.
	It was just the same thing as we've had for three years.
	It's, you know, it's the Trump virus.
	Wow.
	He's like a mad scientist.
	Donald Trump must have manufactured this with Russians and Ukrainians in a lab somewhere.
	That's what they'd have you believe.
	And I'm quoting, if you're feeling awful, you know who to blame.
	I'm like, oh, Donald Trump, of course.
	If the dog bites the bee stings, you're feeling sad.
	Over at fake news, CNN, I mean, you literally have just outright fear-mongering and panic.
	Since the dawn of the Trump era, this is Humpty Dumpty.
	Countless experts, countless, have warned the president's lack of credibility would imperil the country in the event of an emergency.
	As the coronavirus outbreak worsens, those fears may be coming true.
	Well, did they support the president's policies to prevent travelers from coming here from countries that have higher incidents?
	I tend to doubt it over there, just like the Democrats.
	Look, they are, they are desperate.
	If they really cared about our health and our well-being, they would work together with the president and do everything possible to keep Americans safe and healthy.
	The fear-mongering certainly is having an impact.
	I've never liked the stock market.
	I've said it a million times.
	It's just not my cup of tea.
	But the fact that Wall Street is jittery, it's probably with some valid concerns that exist in terms of, okay, well, it's a global economy and with the impact of China, what impact is that going to have, et cetera, et cetera.
	But I don't think these Democrats are caring too much.
	Their rhetoric and their fear-mongering.
	I think they're thinking about your 401k, or maybe they're thinking, well, if we can bludgeon Trump with the coronavirus, maybe Donald Trump won't get re-elected because we don't have a really good batch of candidates here.
	Maybe this will work in our favor.
	I've said how many times Trump cures cancer.
	They'd impeach him.
	You know, they can't even find a good word when he takes out the caliphate, Baghdadi and associates, Solomani, and the leader of al-Qaeda in Yemen.
	Not one good word.
	Record low unemployment for every demographic in the country.
	And they've never said a good word.
	Donald Trump did a good job here.
	Now, they've been spreading the lie, and this happened in the debate the other night, that the president has recklessly been cutting the budget for the NIH and the CDC.
	Even the AP fact-checked that, and funding has increased dramatically under the president, some, what, $20 billion?
	The coronavirus is dangerous.
	Of course it is.
	Every virus is dangerous.
	And those infected are contagious during the incubation period.
	They have no idea before they show any symptoms or know they have the virus.
	So that is a concern.
	Literally, it's an airborne virus.
	It could spread it that way.
	That's a concern.
	The percentage of people dying from it is very low.
	But if you look historically, you know, it was the president that banned non-U.S. citizens who had visited China from ever entering the United States.
	He did that on day one in January, way before the Democrats.
	The Democrats were out there impeaching the president and having their show trial, which we knew the result of, which paralyzed Washington for weeks.
	Yeah, this president was dealing with coronavirus on his own.
	That's when he declared a public health emergency.
	That was back in January, early January.
	And the president barred non-U.S. citizens who visited China from entering the U.S., something they would never support, but they were so busy impeaching him that they weren't even noticing.
	And Americans returning from China, we're not going to keep them out of our own country, right?
	Okay, but they were subject to extensive screenings and quarantine.
	Our fellow American citizens were quarantined.
	Again, they wouldn't let that happen.
	There's been nobody that has died, thank God, in the United States from the coronavirus.
	If you want some perspective, in 2017, 61,000 people in the United States died from the flu.
	If you want perspective, around 100 people sadly die every day from car wrecks.
	You know, the world is not coming to an end, and the promise we see out of Israel and our own scientists here are extraordinarily promising.
	Trials may begin in April, and Israel thinks they might actually have the vaccine.
	That's how quickly scientists can work, how great our medical professionals are.
	What I told people, I was making a podcast about Benghazi.

	Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, let me just give you some good news with all this.
	I have, I don't know how this happened in my life.
	I have a lot of friends that are doctors, and I get their take on it.
	It's not worth me even relaying to you, oh, Hannity's minimizing.
	I don't minimize disease at all.
	And I'm sincere.
	I mean, I'd love to see, I actually believe in at some point, maybe not my lifetime, but my kids, I hope, that we are going to see, look back at the way, for example, we have treated cancer and even maybe say heart disease and other diseases as draconian.
	I mean, you get cancer, they half kill you to save you with some of the harsh chemotherapy, although we've made great advancement on those fronts as well.
	I lost a cousin of mine from Hodgkin's disease many, many years ago when I was young decades ago.
	The odds are like 98% that he would live today if he had this very same disease.
	So I think there's going to be one breakthrough after another.
	And I just, you can see the advancement that we've made even in chemotherapy.
	I mean, they now have perfected many of the treatments where you don't lose your hair.
	They don't half kill you.
	It becomes between radiation and chemotherapy.
	They can specialize the treatment towards a specific area depending on whether it metastasized or not.
	I'm not a, again, I'm not a scientist.
	I'm not a doctor, but I am fascinated by it.
	And I'm fascinated by medical advancement.
	And I hope one day that we can lead the world and we can find cures for AIDS and cancer and the flu and heart disease and all of these afflictions.
	And I do believe that one day we'll look back at some of the treatments.
	I did something, for example, when my kids were born, and I have no idea why.
	And I think one day it may pay off.
	I don't know, but at the time, the doctor that was birthing of my kids had never done this before, but I saved the cord blood, umbilical cord, stems, because you have all their original stem cells.
	I think we might make advancement there.
	I know in cancer, all of these harsh cancers, I've met a number of people that have had stage four cancer that they're living 10 years later.
	Immunotherapy is a huge, big breakthrough development for certain cancers, which is amazing.
	And anyway, I bring this up in the context that Israel, their researchers earlier this week at the Israeli Ministry of Science and Technology, they have announced that they have developed an effective vaccine against the coronavirus, infectious virus, that they say can be adapted to create a human vaccine against coronavirus.
	Israel's Minister of Science and Technology, I can't pronounce his name, said, quote, confident that there will be further rapid progress enabling us to provide a needed response to the grave global coronavirus threat.
	And he's instructed the director of General Ministry of Science and Technology to fast track all approval processes and with the goal of bringing the human vaccine to the market as quickly as possible.
	These people are amazing.
	These scientists are unbelievable.
	And they're doing everything that they can do to create better treatments, cure more diseases.
	In this case, it's a virus.
	And I know it's scary because it's new and it's airborne and you could spread it during its incubation period and you have no idea you're even infected yourself.
	You know, if you look at the rate of death, it is pretty much in line with normal influenza.
	I know most people don't think of the flu as killing people, but in 2017, there were 61,000 Americans that died in the U.S. from the flu.
	But again, we're speaking rationally here.
	You know, we're looking at real science here.
	We're looking at medical breakthroughs here.
	We're looking, we're not politicizing this and weaponizing this to bludgeon a political opponent.
	And when you start talking rationally and you start looking for solutions, all of a sudden all that raw hatred and emotion goes away and you might actually come up with a cure.
	And you would think that this would be one of those moments where you kind of all want to work together because I doubt the coronavirus determines, well, I'm going to infect this person because he's a liberal.
	I'm going to infect that person because he's a conservative.
	And it is in many ways, as you watch as this thing unfolds in the next couple of weeks.
	And I know the Dow has been down again today, about 860 at the moment.
	And the DAO is always jittery.
	I mean, there is real concern because of China's poor handling of the coronavirus, that it will impact the global markets, global economy.
	It's probably going to be very short-term or short-lived.
	And I would expect a rebound probably fairly quickly.
	My friends on Wall Street, they're all right me.
	Bye.

	I'm like, okay, stop.
	I don't do that.
	I don't play that game.
	I can't stand playing the market.
	I hate the market.
	I've never liked the market.
	But, you know, a lot of people do.
	A lot of people, they're 401k, their retirements.
	I'd argue, again, if you look at the market historically, If you don't need the money and you put it in there, it's going to grow at a pretty good clip over time.
	It's always been that way and probably will continue to do so.
	Anyway, Wall Street Journal did a story this week.
	I mentioned it once.
	I want to give you more details on it.
	It's a drug maker, Moderna Inc.
	They're out of Norwood, Massachusetts.
	They have already shipped the first batch of what they have been developing, a rapidly developed coronavirus vaccine.
	They've sent it to U.S. government researchers.
	They think they can launch the first human trial tests on whether the experimental shot could help suppress the epidemic originating in China.
	I know when I first spoke to the president about it, now this is long after he declared the national emergency and long after he implemented his policy, which hadn't been done in decades, to prevent travelers from spreading the virus here.
	And he literally put forward a full response effort in terms of foreign nationals.
	They were not allowed into the United States.
	And for those American travelers, if you came from, well, first of all, we were coming from a country that had high incidence of coronavirus.
	The president was not allowing foreign nationals who pose a risk into the country.
	Oh, I guess the Democrats were too busy impeaching the president to notice.
	And at the very same time, when Americans were coming back from China and some other countries, well, they expanded the screenings upon entry and suspended, literally quarantined many that they thought might have been exposed to the virus.
	Why?
	So they didn't go home and spread it in their communities.
	That's why the incidence is so low.
	So it's actually the exact opposite of what the Democrats and the mob and the media have been saying.
	And none of them would have supported those efforts.
	None of them were focused on it either because they were hyperventilating, hating Trump and hoping to get a conviction.
	And John Bolton would blow the whole thing wide open.
	But anyway, this drug company, Merdana, Murdaner, Moderna Inc., sent the vaccine.
	They sent it out to our government researchers.
	They're now going to launch these first tests.
	They think, they believe that with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in Bethesda, that by the end of April, they can begin their clinical trials.
	They'll start with 20 to 25 healthy volunteers.
	By the way, how do you volunteer for that?
	I'll take the coronavirus, please.
	How much are you going to pay me?
	I don't know if I'd want to sign up for that, but people do it.
	And I think people do it for noble reasons, actually.
	And that is that, hey, if I'm healthy, I'm strong.
	I'm not going to likely die from this.
	I'm going to have the best care around me if, in fact, I get the virus and it doesn't work.
	And I want to do it because if it works on me, well, we can help everybody, we can prevent others from getting it one day.
	So it's a pretty brave thing to do.
	But anyway, they're going to test whether two doses of the shot are safe.
	They will induce an immune response.
	So that's the plan that would likely protect against infection.
	Dr. Anthony Fauci, who I put a lot of faith in, and he says there's going to be more cases.
	And to say there's not, that's ridiculous.
	But he also went on to say that, you know, stop the panic.
	We're on top of it, and we'll make adjustments as we go along.
	Nobody can predict where this is going to go.
	And, you know, sometimes viruses evolve also.
	Anyway, their turnaround time, the initial results would be available if they started this in April, in early July, at the beginning of the summer, and could be ready for next fall and the following flu season.
	Anyway, their turnaround time has been pretty amazing.
	It takes about three months from the trial to create the vaccine, human testing.
	And, you know, in comparison, after the outbreak of an older coronavirus with severe acute respiratory syndrome in China in 2002, it took about 20 months to get a vaccine into the first stage of human testing, according to Dr. Fauci.
	He said going into phase one trials within three months of getting the sequence is unquestionably the world indoor record.
	Nothing has ever gone that fast.
	And it seems to be happening simultaneously in Israel along with the United States.
	So, you know, we got to tip our hat to all these great doctors, medical researchers for what they do every day and their understanding of viruses has put them in a position now to move even faster, like at the speed of light.
	And then I wonder what the New York Times is going to call it.
	They're still going to call it the Trump virus.
	And if you're feeling awful, you know who to blame?
	It's gotten that sick.
	That's how bad this is in terms of the divide and the rage and the psychosis of the mob and the media and with liberal Democrats.
	You know, we have our self-appointed science expert, Congresswoman Ocasio Ortiz, who predicted the world is going to end in 12 years.
	And I remember when she said that and she said, we need to implement the new Green Deal.
	I'm like, well, that's going to be within the next 10 years.
	If we're going to die and be dead in 12 years, let's just have a big party and save all that money and, you know, let's live it up for a while.
	Mike Pence does not believe in science.
	I mean, this is how nuts it's gotten.
	Bolshevik Bernie's out there.
	You know, this is the guy that wants only the government to run healthcare.
	This is the guy that wants to nationalize industry.
	This is also the guy that has praised every extreme, radical, insane socialist, communist country leader around the world.
	You know, actually, Ethan brought this up earlier today.
	The world population is around 7.8 billion people.
	If every person were to get the coronavirus, if you'd go with the higher 2% mortality rate, the amount of deaths that corona would create would be an astonishing 156 million people.
	Now, just stay with me here.
	It's not going to happen, but just stay here.
	One thing, you know, as Bernie praises in honeymoons in the former Soviet Union, praises Danielle Ortega, praises Castro, the murdering dictator in Cuba.
	And there's a Wall Street Journal piece that I found and put together: 100 years of communism that Bernie praises.
	Well, they have a good educational system.
	They have good infrastructure.
	Wow.
	Trains run on time, huh, Bernie?
	100 years of communism and 100 million dead.
	When I wrote the book, Deliver Us from Evil, you look at communism, you look at Stalin, you look at Mao, you look at Hitler, you look at Mussolini, fascism, Nazism, Imperial Japan, the former Soviet Union, Mao.
	You got a lot of dead people.
	And, you know, even there was a major Soviet paper that had printed back in the day, the New York Times had picked it up, that 20 million died as victims of Stalin.
	I think that number is actually much higher.
	And if you look at Mao's Great Leap Forward, the estimates of 45 million people killed in four years.
	So that's what Bernie's praising here, but no, he wants to lecture the president on coronavirus, but yet that is a system of governance that he would want to implement here.
	And these are people that he praises.
	We're going to know a lot more by Tuesday.
	We've got South Carolina tomorrow, so we'll watch that very closely.
	And then by next week, we'll see what happens.
	Bill Clinton is predicting that Democrats will be wiped out if Bolshevik Bernie is at the top of the ticket.
	Bolshevik Bernie's spending plan will cost the entire household wealth of every American.
	Mark Deeson, citing the Manhattan Institute senior fellow, a guy by the name of Brian Rydell's calculation, it's $97.5 trillion.

	House Republicans want House Democrats to vote on Bernie's Castro comments.
	That could happen if you vote in 249 days to elect a Republican majority in the House and the Senate.
	Forget about coronavirus if Bernie Sanders wins the White House, because I don't think Bernie is exactly the scientist I would trust either.

	And we're not aware of any evidence that indicates that.
	Donald Trump's predecessors understood when the nation felt fear.
	If it was around a shooting, a death, a national catastrophe, they had an empathy.
	Donald Trump refuses to recognize that fear, and there's going to be a growing chasm between what Donald Trump and Mike Pence have to say about coronavirus and what the American people feel about it.
	I regret having to say this, but we all know that President Trump, in the course of his service, has disrespected science and scientists, has told an awful lot of untruths.
	Yeah, just a reminder: Japan, the prime minister there, just asked all public schools to shut down for a month.
	That's how serious it is there.
	All right, there it is.
	Minnie Mike the Farmer, Bloomberg, 800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, what do I always say?
	I've always been saying, yeah, of course we like the stock market going up.
	I've never liked that Wall Street is so jittery, and they are.
	One of the great things that have come out of the news in the last 24 hours revolving around the coronavirus is: number one, this company in Massachusetts believes they're going to be ready for human trials in about 60 days.
	Israel made a big announcement that they think they're on the verge of having already a coronavirus vaccine.
	But markets do what they do, and the fear-mongering, and of course, the math in terms of the liberal democratic radical socialists running for president never adds up.
	So that means we bring in our resident liberal, Austin Goolsby, economist, currently professor of economics at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Economics.
	So I have a couple of friends that do work on Wall Street.
	You know what they kept writing me yesterday and today?
	What?
	Buy.
	Buy now.
	That's what they kept saying because they feel that the market's going to rebound probably by Monday or Tuesday next week.
	What do you think?
	Well, you know, that's what they, that's what our friend and the guy I'm friendly with is Larry Kudlow, who works for the president.
	If you'd have followed his advice, you would have just lost a whole lot of money.
	So I think I put a very small percentage of the little bit of money.
	I'm not doing what you say, buy, buy, buy.
	Just talk about facts and try to get people past this panic.
	I do think you're right.
	Wall Street gets very jittery.
	It's why I don't understand fully why when the stock market goes up, President Trump wants to take credit for it.
	The reason why people don't take credit for it when it goes up is because stuff like this happens and then it goes down and then everybody tries to blame you for it.
	I think what happens, though, it is one indicator.
	What I'm looking at when I look at the economy personally is I'm looking at, all right, well, where are we with manufacturing?
	Where are we with trade?
	Where are we with energy?
	Energy in particular has always been, as you know, my pet peeve because I feel like, number one, if we are energy independent, we are now for the first time in 75 years.
	The good part of that, it's twofold.
	One is we do not need to involve ourselves in foreign entanglements because we're not reliant on the free flow of oil at market prices in the Mideast with all the political instability.
	And number two, I think the pathway towards wealth-building opportunities for every American is in the energy sector because they're paying truck drivers Austin 80 grand to train them to drive trucks.
	And these are career jobs with career benefits.
	And if you work a little overtime, you're over $100,000 a year.
	And those jobs are readily available all across the energy sector.
	Yeah, and look, we have agreed on several.
	We disagree on a lot of stuff, but as you know, my parents are out on the edge of the Permian Play.
	I hate to tell you, but Austin's wife agrees with me, just so everybody knows.
	Austin's wife is a Hannity fan.
	You already betrayed me so bad on that.
	I'm going to get you back one of these days.
	But look, here's the thing.
	The overall economy in the U.S., before there ever was coronavirus, was doing well, but was a tale of two economies, the consumer and the job market looking quite strong.
	The manufacturing and the trade and the business investment looking a little shaky.
	And now you add onto it this coronavirus thing, which it is affecting the supply chain.
	It might lead people to start freaking out and staying home and not spending as much.
	That's why I think the president is nervous about it.
	Though, if this is like other viruses, most viruses have a season to them.
	So in the event of the bad outcome, by the time you get to the summer or fall, hopefully that would be over.
	So if there was a downturn, it would be short-lived.
	And so that's the thing.
	You see, I don't even want to get shittery Wall Street.
	I hate this because you're actually giving away the secret that every guy that I know in medicine and science has been telling me.
	They said, oh, when the warmer weather gets here, you know this slows down dramatically, if not come to a complete halt.
	Oh, did the doctors tell you that?
	The doctors and people in science, they told me, yeah, because the incubation tends to be in the colder winter months.
	Look, did I ask for the scientific answer?
	No, I don't know the answer.
	I'm not a scientist and I'm not a doctor.
	I don't care why.
	But look, it is true that if you look at Singapore and you look at Hong Kong places that are warmer, it hasn't spread as rapidly, perhaps.
	So that would be good.
	Let's hope that that's what happens.
	But it could still be pretty nasty in the short run.
	And you got to admit, Sean, that the way the White House is handling this to kind of have the dual pincher movement, one, the economic advisors going out and saying you should buy stocks, and then the other, the political people saying this is all a media plot to try to undermine the president.
	That doesn't breed that much confidence in the dealing with the medical side of this thing.
	I hate to disagree with you.
	Look, I don't go out and tell anybody to buy anything.
	And I know people, I just don't.
	That's number one.
	But number two, I will say this.
	You know, the president took steps that were immediate, that were early.
	And I know everybody wants to turn everything into politics today.
	I mean, for the New York Times, your beloved New York Times, I know you read your New York Times every day, Austin Gloria.
	I'm right for them.
	Of course you do.
	Okay.
	Yeah.
	Let's call it Trump virus.
	If you're feeling awful, you know who to blame.
	In fact, that was an option.
	But the point is, you know, I am just telling you, we're all doomed.
	The sky is falling.
	The end is near.
	The apocalypse is imminent.
	And we're all going to die in 48 hours.
	What people are going to discover by probably sometime midweek next week is we've been lied to again.
	And it's sort of like nothing that Donald Trump can ever do is right.
	Now, if you look at the facts about what the president did here, the president immediately, now, your liberal friends did not like the fact that he had a proactive response, that he took unprecedented steps that not happened in 50 years preventing travelers from spreading the virus here, expanding screening and quarantining of foreign nationals that posed a risk to America.
	And he got on this from day one and the national emergency from day one.
	I agree with you, and that those steps were good ideas.
	He simultaneously did some things that were really bad ideas.
	Like what?
	Like what?
	Well, like flying back, evacuating the people from the cruise ship without perhaps having the medical equipment.
	Okay, you know why we did that?
	Well, hang on a second.
	We're going to leave.
	We're going to abandon Americans trapped in a coronavirus quarantine ship and we're going to let them stay out there.
	That's not who we are.
	Come on.
	If you decide you're going to go get them over the objection of the CDC, at least dress in the proper medical clothing to prevent that infection from spreading to the but there was only one case that we really can't account for in California.
	Everything else has been from people traveling abroad.
	But let's pray that that one case does not.
	They didn't test it.
	Listen, I'm just praying for your wife.
	I don't care if you get it.
	I just don't want your family to get it.
	You know what the other part of it is.
	I got her and I'm not letting go.
	No.
	All right.
	But here's the other part of this.
	If we really care about people's health and well-being, and I think most people do, that's not what we're hearing from the left.
	For three long years, it's been rage, psychosis, Trump derangement syndrome.
	Impeach, impeach, Russia, Russia, stormy, Ukraine, whatever it is.
	Donald Trump could do nothing right in their mind.
	So when you watch Schumer and you watch Pelosi and you listen to the Democrats, you would think that Donald Trump, late at night with Mike Pence, had Russian and Ukrainian scientists in the White House and they manufactured the virus and they put it in China.
	That's how they are acting towards this.
	Look, 61,000 people died.
	Of course they did.
	If the dog bites and the beast things and you're feeling sad, Austin, of course it's Donald Trump's fault.
	But look, we have 61,000 people die from the flu every year.
	100 people die every day from a car wreck.
	The death rate isn't 1%.
	Listen, but we're going to do what we always do, and we're going to solve the problem and share our discoveries with the world.
	That's what's going to happen.
	Yeah, look, I hope that's right.
	The first part, I do think, no, I would argue that a bunch of it was brought on by the president's unprecedented behavior, but it is true that there are some Democrats who have a visceral response.
	Anything the president did, they're against it.
	That said, you kind of lost me on the second part, which is, yes, we have those deaths by flu, but, for example, if this thing gets caught by as many people as normally catch the flu, we're going to have 10 times the deaths from this coronavirus.
	Well, let me ask you, how many Democrats almost 20 times?
	How many of your fellow Democrats would have prevented travelers from coming into the U.S. and quarantining foreign nationals like President Trump did in January?
	And that's why I said that.
	I can tell you what the answer is.
	No Democrat supports that because they all want open borders and free health care for illegal immigrants.
	To your point, the Democrats have changed their view.
	The day that the president announced that, they said, oh, this is, look, this is all part of the Muslim ban.
	And they have now almost entirely changed around.
	And everybody says, oh, yes, of course we had to do that.
	And on that point, I give the president credit.
	He was early before other people in calling for that.
	It's just he stapled some good things with a bunch of things that didn't make sense.
	And if you were Vice President Pence right now, wouldn't you be thinking, is this Donald Trump's way of getting me booted from the ticket?
	Because he's put him in charge of a thing that he doesn't have control over, has no background in, and starts from a position way behind.
	Listen, you're not looking for an expert in viruses to take control of the government response.
	You're looking for something.
	No, no.
	What you're looking for is somebody that can bring in the right people, put them in the right places, and manage the total big picture of, number one, preventing and keeping Americans healthy and safe, and also finding solutions.
	number two, and keeping the markets a little calm because we are doing a good job.
	But at the end of the day, by the way, I have a question.
	Who are you voting on?
	Who's your candidate for 2020?
	I'm dying to know.

	There are four pieces in terms of the economic puzzle here, and people aren't really thinking clearly because when you start inserting inoculating fear into it, reality goes out the window.
	The global, it's global, governmental, business, and individuals.
	Those are the things that really affect economics.
	We can't change what other countries do.
	Italy really blew it by not cutting off transportation.
	That's the first thing.
	You can't deal with what's going on in the world.
	All you can deal with is what's going on here in our country.
	Governmentally, we can't force China to take our people in to help them.
	If they don't want it, they won't let you in.
	We can't be criticized for that.
	Our government is doing what it can do.
	I think maybe if I had one criticism, I would have cut off travel because people are literally in Asia not saying anything about being in China because the countries where they're coming from don't really track where they came from.
	So if anything, that's the only thing I would have to say.
	You see, what you're doing, Sharon, is not acceptable.
	You're thinking rationally.
	You are using your very keen, bright intellect, reason, common sense.
	And by the way, as did the president from the get-go in this thing, and it's the left, they didn't want quarantine.
	They didn't want to say, no, you can't travel from this country into the U.S.
	He set that up from almost day one.
	But never let a good crisis go to waste, which is the motto of the Democratic Party.
	And they're clinging to this.
	It's their lifeline in the hopes that if it gets really, really, really bad, it's all Trump's fault.
	You would think Donald Trump, Mike Pence, went in a laboratory, manufactured this, put it into China, hoping that it one day would get to the United States.
	That's how sick they are in their coverage of this.
	And we don't want anybody to die.
	The opportunity now for America to once again lead the world medically is right there before us.
	Israel is doing a great job.
	We have a company in Massachusetts doing a great job.
	And we have the best and brightest scientists in the world.
	So we're going to get a handle on this.
	And I understand jitters on Wall Street.
	That's typical.
	That's predictable.
	It's one of the reasons I always say I don't like the market.
	Anyway, go ahead.
	I was going to say, you know, we've got two other, there's actually two other pieces to this, but besides global and the government, the one thing that the Democrats aren't even talking about is the fact that the coronavirus is not brand new, okay?
	It's an adaptation.
	It's not like Ebola, okay?
	It started with mirrors, then it mutated, then SARS, then it mutated.
	And what we have now is Corona.
	That's why the people that are working on this have the ability to deal with it.
	I have all confidence in them.
	I'm one of those people that goes out and goes to PubMed and looks at what is the research that's going on right now.
	And what was the research that was the actual foundation of it?
	Can I ask specifically what you do for a living?
	What do you do?
	You'll laugh.
	Okay.
	My degree.
	Yeah.
	My degrees are in education, K-12.
	Home economics.
	Okay.
	Home economics.
	Okay.
	And computer science.
	And I was forced to go to a college where I had to take pre-med classes.
	Okay.
	Wow.
	So that's what I mean.
	You know what?
	Your educational background has prepared you to think logically.
	That's all it did.
	And you had a little bit of common sense and reason to it.
	And that's why you're so articulate.
	You see, in this, we live in an age of power, panic, and politics.
	And if they can create panic, it creates a vacuum for power, and they come up with this, whatever answer they think they're going to come up with.
	But really all they're doing is weaponizing and politicizing a virus.
	That's all they're doing.
	Absolutely.
	And businesses, now, my fault right now is with the industries and businesses of our country.
	We should have learned our lesson from what happened in Japan with the tsunami.
	And I remember, because technology is one of my things that I truly love, that's where I kind of make my living now.
	But do you remember where you couldn't get an LED TV?
	You couldn't get a monitor, a flat screen, okay?
	We didn't learn.
	All right.
	Why?
	Because now I remember my aunt who worked with a company that supplied General Motors.
	Well, General Motors decided it was cheaper to get their parts from Europe and from Asia, Asia for the most part.
	Well, when they did that, then when there was an issue, they had nothing to build cars with, just as well as it would have been a labor strike.
	So business needs to really get their act together.
	You know, Apple right now is building that plant in Texas.
	But you know what?
	If they're relying on Asia for all their parts, that's crazy.
	We have the industrial technology and the brilliance behind being able to automate everything.
	And there's no reason for us really to, I mean, look at McDonald's.
	How many people used to be in McDonald's?
	And how many people are there now?
	They have changed and mechanized.
	Why?
	Because, well, as we increase the labor price that we have to pay, we have to find more and more productive ways.
	So businesses and industries need to be strongly encouraged to bring those things back to this country and using the technology that we have learned.
	And I think I fault the people who basically are running companies who are sitting on Wall Street right now.
	Okay.
	They need to do that.
	Again, you're thinking logically, this for people is emotional.
	This is also about politicizing the virus, et cetera, et cetera.
	Look, I'm just telling you, I know how this plays out.
	I think it'll get loud.
	It'll be intense.
	It'll die down.
	And according to most of the scientific experts that I have spoken to, I mean, there's a tendency for viruses in the warmer weather to be far less potent in terms of transferability or it just has a cycle to it.
	It is, you know, I mentioned the numbers.
	We lost, what, 61,000 people last year to influenza.
	I wish nobody died.
	I wish we had a cure for cancer.
	I wish we had a cure for heart disease.
	I wish we had a cure for every disease out there.
	And one of the great things is we have been able to conquer flu and vaccinate with many of them.
	Sometimes we don't get it right.
	Most times we do.
	And I just think that we're on track when it's an all-hands-on-deck moment.
	You get the job done.
	And the idea that this is a political weapon, I think, is repulsive, but it's predictable and it's who they are and they've got nothing else.
	And this will fade like everything else fades when Wall Street will make their comeback and rally and people will start making money again.
	That's my guess how this plays out.
	But you bring up a lot of good points, Sharon.

	Number one, I don't want the government to do anything for me except secure our country, make sure that our food, water, and air are safe, and enforce our laws.
	That's all I want the government to do for me.
	That's all anybody else should want the government to do for them.
	The problem is it's not.
	I mean, if you listen to what they're saying, they are saying that every fear that people have in their lives is going to be taken away, and they are going to guarantee that your health care is provided for, your pre-K child education is provided for, your college is provided for, your job is guaranteed, your wages are guaranteed, your retirement is guaranteed,
	and you're going to live in this utopia where you will be safe in a cradle to grave, womb to the tomb, government bubble.
	That's what they're saying.
	And some people, they don't want the stress of life that you have to strive and push and drive to provide for yourself and your family.
	Look, we're endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, not guaranteed jobs, not guaranteed government health care, not guaranteed government whatever.
	It's What people don't understand is every time you rely on the government for whatever security they're promising you, you give up your liberties, you give up your freedom, and you empower them to take more and more of the essence of your life, which is your money.
	And that gives them all the power that they want.
	It's about power.
	And these promises will never be fulfilled.
	They never have been fulfilled.
	That's the problem with what they're saying.
	Here's my issue with healthcare.
	The majority, the larger majority of people have health care.
	Sean, when you're thirsty and you want to drink, you get up and you go get a drink.
	If you don't have health care, go and get your drink.
	The only thing that's holding you back right now from not getting health care, like the greater majority of people have, is you.
	I have a theory.
	It's a dog and it's a tick.
	Do you want to be the dog in life or do you want to be the tick?
	I want to be the dog, Sean.
	God made us to be the dog.
	He didn't make us to be the tick.
	His dog bites, too.
	Be careful.
	Look, I think most people are inclined to understand it.
	I think there are others that you got to look, politicians play on fear.
	They play on people's fears.
	There is a natural worry we have as human beings.
	Oh, can I retire?
	Oh, what if I have a heart attack, get cancer, have a bad accident?
	All of that could be handled.
	I mean, we have outlined patient power, healthcare savings accounts, healthcare cooperatives, Dr. Josh Umber, Atlas MD.
	We've done it all.
	And I don't know why there are some that actually believe these phony promises of politicians.
	The new Green Deal is $94 trillion in 10 years.
	Medicare for all is $52 trillion in 10 years.
	We only take in $4 to $4.5 trillion a year.
	These are promises that are guaranteed never to be fulfilled.
	So why are they making them?
	Because, oh, well, I have my government health care, right?
	Well, how did keep your doctor, keep your plan, and save on average $2,500 per family per year workout?
	It didn't.

	The question is, how do we fight back?
	And my idea is this: and I got to give credit to a co-worker that actually came up with this idea when we were discussing that the two-tier system of laws.
	Whenever we go to the jury selection pool, I am ready to state that I will not prosecute any of my fellow citizens unless it's plain that a child is being harmed.
	I will not enforce any law upon my peers until we establish an equal set of laws for the government and for us.
	We are being made fools of.
	They write laws and they write themselves out of those laws.
	And only the citizens are being held accountable for those laws, not the lawmakers.
	So we are being made fools of.
	I mean, we even got a presidential candidate who's running for the Senate taking part in a presidential debate.
	What's going on?
	I don't even know what to tell you.
	There's so many things wrong, but on the other hand, there's so many things that are right now in the country.
	Our foreign policy, I think we've been able to right that ship.
	Energy independence, border walls, judges, taxes, burdensome bureaucracy, trade deals being fair.
	A lot of good things.
	I'd like it to continue.
	But again, I'm one vote.

	It isn't a question of what I should be doing this morning.
	It's a question of what I should have been doing a month or two ago, when in fact it became clear that this was the kind of thing where we needed to send our experts to China to start working on this, that we needed.
	He just requested money for medical research.
	That's months late.
	In fact, we should have been over in China helping them.
	We should have been doing research to get a vaccine.
	In fact, this is a question where his having decimated the government, taken money away from the Center for Disease Control, has put us at a horrible disadvantage.
	We reached a turning point today with the CDC, warning schools that they missed prepare, that they might have to close.
	Members of the Trump administration saying we don't have enough medical masks if necessary.
	What would you do?
	What I would do immediately is restore the funding.
	He cut the funding for CDC.
	He tried to cut the funding for NIH.
	He cut the funding for the entire effort.
	We have to work and expand the World Health Organization.
	Obviously, we have to make sure the CDC, the NIH, our infectious departments are fully funded.
	This is a global problem.
	We've got to work with countries all over the world to solve it.
	One of the great problems today, you read about the virus.
	What's really happening here is the president fired the pandemic specialists in this country two years ago.
	So there's nobody here to figure out what the hell we should be doing.
	And he's defunded Centers for Disease Control, CDC, so we don't have the organization we need.
	This is a very serious thing.
	As you see, the stock market's falling apart because people are really worried and they should be.
	We don't have anybody to respond.
	They just lie and they can't help themselves.

	Well, you know, recklessly, he cut the budget for the NIH, even the AP Associated Press.
	Funding has actually increased under the president for the CDC and the NIH.
	What does that make all of those whatever you want to call that group of actors on that stage the other night?
	They're all liars.
	They're all, they are, what they're trying to do is weaponize and politicize even a virus.
	They can't say a good word when Soleimani's killed.
	Yep.
	Number one, state sponsor of terror, Iran, the person responsible for all that terror, killing Americans in Iraq, all the proxy wars, funding the terror groups around the world, that would be Soleimani.
	Well, we can't say a good word about that either.
	And it's just typical and predictable.
	And, well, it's what you expect, I guess, at this point after three years of it.

	And I thought you were going to start singing my favorite things because I noticed you had those words there.
	No, let's be specific.
	And honestly, you are correct in one respect.
	The president did propose cuts to CDC and the NIH.
	Thankfully, both Democrats and Republicans in the House and the Senate said no and didn't.
	And they increased funding for both of those.
	But part of the problem.
	Well, you're talking about rates of increase.
	I don't want to split hairs with you here.
	When you talk about rates of increase, reducing them, that is not a cut, and it is a reduction and increase.
	But go ahead.
	When we talk about, when you say, you know, it's the Trump virus, no, but it is the responsibility of the leader of the free world and the leader of this nation, commander-in-chief and president, and it's president Trump right now, to get in front of this.
	It's a responsibility not as part of the international community that we have with our allies, but it's his responsibility as security to his people.
	We didn't.
	Let me ask you a question.
	When the president declared this a national emergency and a public health emergency in January and utilized immediately reserved funding for response efforts, when the president took unprecedented steps that had not been taken in 50 years, preventing travelers from spreading the virus here and expanding screening and suspending entry of certain foreign nationals.
	I don't know one Democrat that wasn't critical of the president for doing that.
	The president did that early on.
	Don't you think that prevented a much wider spread of the virus when the president shut our borders down to people with coming from countries that had a high incidence of this?
	Would you have supported that, Leslie Marshall?
	Because Democrats were criticizing him for it.
	I actually would support a temporary ban of travel from certain countries like China.
	The problem is we have a lot of Americans, as you know, Sean, that's China.
	We also have a case in California.
	We have a case this week, one case in Southern California, where I live, of somebody who has the virus who has not been to China or to that province of China.
	So part of the problem is one of the things we need is more information.
	One of the ways we could have got more information is working with the World Health Organization and the Chinese government and getting this information out to the American people.
	For example, on the Sunday talk shows, you know, all talk, that was ICNAID once Vice President Pence took over in charge of what's going on with coronavirus.
	One, two, also, you've got to stop misinformation being spread.
	Mick Mulvaney, for example, said, coronavirus isn't as bad as SARS, isn't as bad as MRSA.
	You know, not yet.
	It could be.
	We don't want to be fear-mongering, but we don't want to downplay it.
	And I've seen the president of the people.
	I listened to that.
	I don't think that benefits the American people.
	It is the very things the president did, no Democrat supported.
	Period, end of sentence.
	The lies they're telling about the money, that is ridiculous.
	Well, Mike Pence isn't a medical research doctor expert in viruses.
	Nobody's good at putting together the team of experts, medical experts, and others that will give him the information so they can make the right decisions.
	But what you hear is all they want to do is politicize this.
	All they want to do is weaponize the virus.
	Honestly, I think that's the problem.
	Hang on.

	Yeah, I think to say nothing of all the lies that the media are telling about this, there is the obvious effort to suppress the truth, which is their go-to thing is this, let's not turn this into a racist thing.

	Don't you dare say that this has anything to do with the border.
	No, it does.
	Of course it does.
	It has everything to do with China.
	Let's just talk instead about the funding and Trump and what the administration didn't do and what they could have done sooner.

	It's something that it sounds like they're taking every measure to deal with.
	I would give the same credit to the Obama administration or anyone else to deal with this.
	But no, let's actually address the fact that this thing with Trump is a complete distraction.
	We do have to talk about where this came from.
	We do have to talk about the problems with China and why, and that's the root of it.
	That's the root of the disease.
	But the problem is this, you know, look, nobody's talking about the fact I've been mentioning this drug, I've been mentioning this drug maker, Moderno, is the name of the company out of Massachusetts, Norwood Mass.
	And they have shipped now the first batch of this rapidly developing vaccine that they have to U.S. government researchers.
	They think they might be able to begin trials as early as April.
	We know that the Israelis, they feel like they are on the verge of a breakthrough vaccine to the virus.
	And all of this has been going on while the president has been preventing people from countries from getting into this country, which is why the incidents in America are so low.
	And those are not the things, Eddie, that any liberal Democrat supported at the time.
	Oh, right.
	And yeah, again, that's the immediate line of attack is, oh, this is racist.
	They'll call anything that any serious measure that the president does to address this, which is obviously first and foremost, containment, preventing that from studying here.
	How do you do that?
	You prevent the people from coming here.
	They're going to call that racist just as sure as they called it racist when you've done any reasonable measure to control the southern border.
	And this is that I talk about this exact type of dynamic at great length in my book, Civilism.
	But it's the same line of attack over and over again.
	This is racist.
	This is xenophobic.
	I've seen this in the New York Times, Washington Post, MSNBC.
	Everywhere they're calling this racist.
	But I hope the one great thing I'll say, we never thought we would have to thank God for electing a germaphobe as president.
	That actually is a pretty good line.
	When you look at the coronavirus and what it is, the speed of which we're moving towards this.
	Here's another thing, Leslie.
	I always liked the president's, and people have talked about it.
	If you are out of options and you have an illness, a disease of any kind, it's the president said, hey, if you want to try an experimental drug that might extend your life, you do it.
	The right to choose.
	That to me was a huge step forward because, you know, why do we need a government's permission?
	We're about to die.
	It's our bodies.
	It's our health.
	It's, you know, give us a shot.
	If we have a chance at something that may be looking promising, let's do it.
	I would think you would agree with that.
	I would, but the federal government doesn't.
	And the president is the head of the federal government.
	If somebody is, if something's not FDIC insured, it's our own government, by the way, that prevents.

	Part of the problem with this is that sometimes we're doing more harm than good than we are with our bodies when we have something that turns out to be nothing more than a placebo, because there's a lot of snake oil salespeople out there that sadly prey on the fears and illnesses and desperation that people have when they can't get help with traditional medicine.
	So where coronavirus is concerned, for example, we should have more, again, getting in front of it.
	We should have, first of all, everybody out there knowing the truth about masks, everybody out there knowing the truth about hand washing, and everyone out there knowing the truth about having the vaccine for the flu, just the regular old commonplace flu that we get, the flu vaccine every year, and how it's helping us to fight it.
	You know, the irony is that Trump gets criticized for closing our borders down.
	Trump gets criticized for keeping Americans safe.
	He gets criticized for bringing Americans back that were on a ship so they can get the better care they deserve and will get in America.
	It's like there's no, Donald Trump can cure cancer and they'll still hate him.
	I hope he does exactly what he said he would do, which is put the country first in precisely these kinds of moments where it is a crisis, where it is we do need to be looking out for ourselves.
	And that might mean he's called a racist, but hopefully he does the right thing.
	Well, and I think he has so far, and that's the good part.

	The president put Vice President Mike Pence in charge, coordinating of all efforts as it relates to the coronavirus.
	On top of everything they have done, here is that interview.
	Mr. Vice President, good to see you.
	Let's talk coronavirus.
	Let me just read opinion piece, New York Times.
	I know your favorite paper.
	Let's call it the Trump virus.
	If you're feeling awful, you know who to blame.
	I look at the media reaction to this.
	I look at the Democrats' reaction.
	It's almost instantaneous.
	You know, they're politicizing what is obviously a serious issue, the reaction.
	Well, look, the president made it clear yesterday.
	We're all in this together.
	This is not the time for politics.
	And after the president asked me to lead the effort on the corona response from the White House, working with the task force that he established now a month and a half ago, working with state government officials and local and health officials, the president also directed me to reach out.
	I spoke to Speaker Pelosi.
	Spoke to Senator Schumer as well as the Republican.
	How did those conversations go?
	They were good conversations.
	They were because they were politicizing it almost instantaneously.
	I know.
	But look, the President said to me, look, I want you to reach out to the Republican and Democrat leadership because we want to push politics aside.
	We want to make sure we get the resources that we need to respond to this, to make sure the CDC, all of our agencies have the support that they need, that states have the support should this matter become more serious.
	But the President's message is very clear.
	We're ready.
	We're ready for anything.
	We continue to prepare for whatever may come.
	But the reality is that because of the actions that President Trump took last month, literally, ending travel, closing our borders to people coming in from China, establishing a quarantine process, setting up a task force.
	I mean, if the President hadn't taken those unprecedented steps, we'd be in a very different place today, Sean.
	You mentioned Pelosi and Schumer both have been critical of the President on this and about the money and it's shameful.
	I don't think they supported closing off people coming into the country from some of these countries.
	Well, there was criticism last month.
	But when we first received word of the outbreak of the coronavirus shortly after the first of the year, the health team came in.
	I was there in the Oval Office and they said to the President, look, what we ought to do is we ought to end air travel, we ought to close our border, and we ought to establish a quarantining process for any American citizens that we allow back in.
	And they said, no president has ever done this before, but we're recommending out of an abundance of caution that you do it.
	And President Trump didn't hesitate for one second.
	He said, do it.
	And it was criticized by some at the time.
	But as I said, our health experts told me again yesterday when we huddled right after that press briefing for the first time.
	They said we would be in a very different place today if President Trump hadn't taken the decisive action that we had.
	And today, you know, we haven't had a new case for the last two weeks until the word that reached the public in the last 24 hours.
	We've had 15 cases in this country, and people are being treated and doing well.
	One is still in the hospital.
	But the other 45 cases are all American citizens that we brought back home, went through a quarantining process.
	We're monitoring them.
	So I take my hat off to the President's leadership as well as to Secretary Azar, the team at CDC, Homeland Security.
	This has been a whole of government approach, but when the President tapped me to lead the White House effort on this, I think it just demonstrated again to the public the seriousness that the President's placed on this.
	He's telling us to lean into this effort out of an abundance of caution because he has no higher priority than the health and safety of the American people.
	You get criticized right out of the box.
	When you were in Indiana as governor, the issue of needle exchange came up with HIV.
	And I don't know if you would really care that Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez, you don't believe in science.
	Needle exchange programs are pretty controversial and it was a tough call for you at the time.
	What does it mean, all hands on deck?
	And do you think that the Democrats will really work with you or are they looking at yet another opportunity to just slam Donald Trump?
	I say on the program often that if Donald Trump cured cancer, they would want to impeach him for that.
	Obviously a little hyperbole, but I sense a certain truth in it that people see a political advantage if in fact, oh, this got to be bigger or it impacts the markets even more.
	Well, we want to hope for better.
	We hope for a better outcome on this issue clinically, the spread of the virus, although the president has said we're ready for anything.
	And we continue to hope that we'll see not just Republicans, but Democrats dial down the rhetoric and come alongside the president as we work the problem.
	That's going to be our objective.
	We'll be working on Capitol Hill with people in both political parties.
	I hope already, by the way, you did see the Wall Street Journal.
	They have the company out of Massachusetts that is already, they feel they may have a track to a vaccine on this.
	Well, and that's all part of this equation.
	But, you know, I will tell you, I spent 12 years in Congress.
	I know how political the place can be, and it seems more divided now than ever before.
	But I will tell you in my conversations with Republican and Democrat leaders, I think we have an opportunity.
	We have an opportunity to do exactly what the American people want us to do, and that is keep the politics out of this, follow the facts, follow the science, and work the problem.
	I think one of the reasons the president asked me to do this was precisely because of two different incidents in the state of Indiana.
	For the American people that are worried, that are concerned, reading about this potentially spiraling out of control, the impact on their 401ks, the stock market, obviously, the concerns about the global economy, you say to them today.
	The risk of the spread of the coronavirus in the United States of America remains low.
	That's according to all of our experts.
	And it's a direct result of the unprecedented action that President Trump took last month when he closed our border to Chinese individuals coming into the country and also established a quarantining effort.
	Our White House coronavirus task force has literally been meeting every day for the last six weeks.
	And the American people can be confident that we're going to bring at the President's direction the full resources of the federal government to bear to protect the people of this country.
	That being said, during this time of year, it's always a good idea to engage in best practices.
	And people can go to CDC.gov to get the latest information on not only this virus, but how they can best see to the health of their family and their community.

	And, you know what, listen, I can teach anybody to farm.
	I mean, you just dig a hole, put a seed in it, cover it up, put some water on it, and up pops your corn, right?

	No, we use GPS-controlled prescriptions for variable rate planting and variable rate fertilizer applications.

	I mean, there's like chemical applications.
	Oh, so there's chemistry involved, agricultural business involved.
	There is a balance, pH balance involved.
	Now, how many acres do you farm and what do you farm?
	Farm several thousand acres, and it's ranging anywhere.
	This year, we currently are going to be raising wheat, corn, cotton, sesame, and I got a cow-cap operation as well.
	What makes you decide on any given year what you're going to, what crop you're going to go with?
	Some of it is rotation as far as rotating what's being planted on the ground so you don't have weeds that build up immunity to what your chemistry you're using out there with the crops.
	And part of it is economics and what's going to try to make some money for the year.
	So, we have now real science, real chemistry, real agricultural business models that have to be created, thin margins, variable hybrids that are being developed in labs everywhere to make even better crops than we've ever had, both tasting and hardier to deal with weather conditions that are always unpredictable, advanced degrees, and so many aspects of farming.
	But let's see, we have many Mayor Mike, the farmer of Bloomberg, saying that he can teach anyone to farm.
	You know, and you need more gray matter in today's economy.
	When you hear that, I find it so freaking insulting.
	I just, it takes my breath away.
	Well, thank you for sticking up for those of us out here that are putting food on your table and closing.
	Yeah, hey, thank you for feeding me.
	I appreciate it.
	You know what?
	I don't have to go out and dig a hole and tend my crops every day for crying out loud or milk the cows every morning.
	I'm serious.
	All those things, if I had to do it, my life would be consumed with it.
	But I get to go to the grocery store thanks to guys like you that work your ass off.
	Well, thank you.
	Last week on one of your shows, you told Linda you would love to go to a farm, and I would be honored to host you and your team to have a first-hand look at what it takes to do all this.
	You know, we've been thinking about it.
	It's just our travel schedule has been so intense.
	We just don't know when we're going to get a window of opportunity to do it.
	But we'll take down your information and maybe we'll come do it.
	But anyway, I'll give you the last word here.
	What else do we wanted to say?
	Well, if the coronavirus virus gets worse, you may want to come out here in the middle of nowhere where we have fresh, clean air and we can live without fear of it.
	Another benefit.
	You don't have to run into New Yorkers that hate your guts.
	By the way, you walk down the streets of New York, and I walk really fast on purpose.
	And every once in a while, you get that person, Hannity.
	You know, I wouldn't have to deal with that on the farm, right?
	That's correct.
	There are many days, trust me, I've said this to everybody.
	I just wish I was back in my contracting days, hanging out, drinking beer at lunch, going back to work, wrapping up at 6 o'clock, 7 o'clock at night, and going home and not worrying about a thing.
	But you know what?
	I'm very blessed as you are.
	We all do our part.
	Nothing is easy in life.
	Farming is complicated.
	It is science at a sophisticated level.
	And we're grateful for all that you do and all the farmers in this great country do because not only do you feed all of us, you feed the rest of the world as well.
	So thank you.

	Hey, Sean.
	I just have a question.
	The DNC party hates Bernie Sanders so much and accused him of Russia support, China support.
	Where's the steel dossier investigation?
	Where's the Mueller investigation?
	Where's the shift show?
	Where's the fake news reports on them?
	Listen, it's all going on.
	The origins of the Russia witch hunt is now almost a year in the making with Barr and Durham.
	My sources telling me they've made a lot of progress.
	Is it where we want it to be?
	No.
	Is it as fast as we want it to be?
	Absolutely not.
	Do I think we're going to get there?
	Yeah, I think so.
	And is it frustrating?
	Yes, it's frustrating.
	You know, it is, but we've already learned a lot.
	And mostly what we've learned is that everything we've reported on this program has been proven true, validated.
	And I think now the criminal aspect of it, that is not within Horowitz's realm.
	He had a limited bubble in which he could do his work.
	And as Inspector General, he did make referrals, criminal referrals for people that lied and people that abused power.
	And, you know, he found 17 specific things wrong with the FISA process, 53 or four subset things they did wrong with it.
	But everything that we'd been saying about premeditated fraud on the FISA court to take away one's civil liberties and constitutional rights to spy on a presidential candidate, transition team and presidency, all is true.
	And it's getting far worse than that.
	So, you know, it's there.
	It just is, it's frustrating.
	The one good thing is we told you the truth.
	We dug hard.
	It took us almost three years.
	We got to it.
	There's a lot more coming in terms of validation.
	And the mob and the media lied to you again.
	And unfortunately, right now, it just is frustrating.
	We're in a very frustrating period where, okay, when are we going to hold them accountable?
	This is low-hanging fruit now.
	We have all the evidence.
	The inspector general has confirmed it.
	He's got all the evidence.
	We know Barr and Durham have the evidence, but they're building out the bigger case.
	And we're just going to see how deep and wide the corruption and abuse of power went.
	I think it went much deeper than we ever knew.
	And I think the deep state is much deeper and has been much deeper than we ever knew.
	Even as we've been covering it, it's gotten deeper.
	I hope that answers your question.
