[00:00:04]  All right, so the fake news network CNN is offended that President Trump chose to do a rally for the people instead of attending that snarky, out-of-touch White House correspondents dinner.
[00:00:15]  In a whining, driveling op-ed on CNN.com, there you have Jeff Zucker's stenographer writing, President Trump was snubbing the press dinner and waging war on the journalists who cover him.
[00:00:26]  There's a long tradition of the executive branch recognizing the role of the press in a democratic society.
[00:00:32]  Trump frequently degrades news outlets and insults journalists.
[00:00:36]  With trust in the media already at low levels, he's pouring salt in a wound.
[00:00:40]  This year's event turned out so badly, the White House Correspondents Association, even they issued an apology.
[00:00:47]  So I guess it's safe to say that President Trump made the right choice.
