[00:02:05]  So on Friday, ABC News Brian Ross enthusiastically reported that Lieutenant General Michael Flynn was prepared to testify against Donald Trump.
[00:02:14]  And Flynn, according to Ross, said that Trump ordered him to contact the Russians during the 2016 campaign.
[00:02:20]  Well, one problem with the report, it was dead wrong.
[00:02:24]  An embarrassing and rare move.
[00:02:26]  Ross clarified the story and said his source said the president asked Flynn to contact Russia during the campaign.
[00:02:32]  He's now clarifying that statement, saying candidate Trump asked him during the campaign to find ways to repair relations with Russia and other hotspots.
[00:02:41]  Then after the election, big distinction, the president-elect told him to contact Russia on other issues, including working together to fight ISIS.
[00:02:49]  Yes, another example of destroy Trump fake news at its finest.
