[00:01:05] One of the things you've got to understand about grand juries, especially in areas where Donald Trump, I think, got 4% of the vote. [00:01:12] But putting all that aside, you've got to remember the defense never gets to talk to the grand jury. [00:01:17] You've heard the statement you can indict a ham sandwich. [00:01:20] There's a lot of truth to that, actually. [00:01:23] And the reason that you have Mueller going after Manafort and this other guy's finances is pretty basic and simple. [00:01:31] What do you know about Trump? [00:01:32] You tell us about Trump, we're going to lessen your sentence. [00:01:35] But the grand jury, remember, their standard is far much lower than that of beyond a reasonable doubt. [00:01:44] And that is, you know, probable cause is not the standard that Paul Manafort is going to face. [00:01:50] He pled guilt innocent in the court proceeding today. [00:01:54] But you've got to understand. [00:01:55] So his lawyer spoke today for the first time, and he talked about what Paul Manafort was trying to do. [00:02:00] He said he was trying to seek to further democracy and help the UK come to the U.S. and the EU. [00:02:10] These activities ended in 2014, over two years before Manafort served ever in the Trump campaign. [00:02:17] And he writes, and he says that today, as you've seen in the indictment brought by the Office of Special Counsel, that is using a novel theory to prosecute Manafort regarding the foreign agent filing requirements of the U.S. government. [00:02:32] And he points out that has only been used as an offense and a charge six times since 1966. [00:02:40] Only one of those six resulted in any conviction. [00:02:43] He said the second thing about this indictment, which Manafort, now his lawyer, has finally spoken, which I find ridiculous, is maintaining offshore accounts to bring all your funds into the U.S. is a scheme to conceal them from the U.S. government. [00:02:58] Now, that indicates that they feel that they've paid all necessary taxes and did nothing illegal. [00:03:03] And offshore accounts do not is not, by its very nature, illegal. [00:03:10] Now, what's fascinating about this George Papadopoulos, you know, he admitted he lied to the FBI. [00:03:16] What did I tell you all the time? [00:03:18] I said, I love the FBI. [00:03:20] And my friends in the FBI have told me, God, do you ever talk to the FBI? [00:03:23] Don't talk to them. [00:03:24] And I said, well, I love the FBI. [00:03:25] I want to help the FBI. [00:03:26] He goes, it doesn't matter. [00:03:28] He goes, you'll be charged with lying to the FBI, which is a crime, if you say one thing. [00:03:32] And I said, so let me get this straight. [00:03:34] So for my own protection, I can't help an agency that I happen to love and respect most of its members. [00:03:39] And they go, yep, that's what my FBI friends tell me. [00:03:42] But the Papadopoulos, it's literally he wanted to create an anti-Clinton dossier. [00:03:48] And he got nowhere because nobody in the campaign paid attention to him. [00:03:52] Meanwhile, we have a real Russian paid-for Clinton, DNC, Obama paid-for dossier. [00:03:59] We've got the evidence. [00:04:00] They paid for the propaganda. === Russian Paid-for Dossier (00:59) === [00:04:03] You want smart political talk without the meltdowns? [00:04:06] We got you.
