Last Friday, 29-year-old New Orleans police officer, father of two Marcus McNeil, was shot and killed in the line of duty.
Now, according to NOLA.com, McNeil and three other officers came upon something suspicious while patrolling an area in the city.
When the officers then got out of their car, a gunman opened fire, shooting McNeil several times.
Now on Sunday, the New Orleans Saints had a home game against the Detroit Lions.
And disgustingly, during a moment of silence for Officer McNeil, many Saints players remain kneeled in protest.
Saints coach Sean Payton said the kneeling was a miscommunication.
There's no miscommunication.
The NFL's completely lost control of their organization, and their players are disrespecting the country, the flag, and those that have died to keep us safe.
Thank you, Officer McNeil, for your tremendous service.
