President Trump gave, perhaps, the greatest speech of his life last night and the liberal media is already attacking him... finding anything. Wouldn't it be nice if the media actually focused on fair and balanced reporting? Patrick Poole, PJ Media reports, the AP's very own fact check falsely claimed that Trump overstated the terror threat that America faces from overseas immigrants.
On Tuesday night, the president said, according to data provided by the Department of Justice, the vast majority of individuals convicted for terrorism related offenses since 9-11 came here from outside of the country.
AP pounced on the statement and fact checked the claim, saying it's unclear what Justice Department data he is citing, but the most recent government information that has come out does not back up his claim.
Now the information that Trump cited came from a very widely distributed letter from the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration, which found that 65% of all terror convictions in the U.S. since 9-11 were foreign born.
Pretty pathetic.
