They found out he had a cozy relationship with a major Broadway producer, and they said, this could cause some possible bias.
We can't have this guy.

That is wonderful.

This was the one attempt of the Times to root out bias at their paper.
The theater critic got fired.
You know that the whole the whole paper, the the you know, the guild, everybody must have just stopped and sucked up their breath as they read it.
