Morning Minute: More Fake News - 2.10

The New York Times ran with a story today that suggested Yemen has backed off their support of American special forces units hunting terrorists.  The article suggested that Yemen was doing this in response to finding themselves as one of the seven countries Donald Trump had banned from immigrating to the United States.  Turns out no such decision has been made!  Can we trust anything the New York Times says?   Learn more about your ad-choices at https://www.iheartpodcastnetwork.comSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Earlier this week, the New York Times ran a story claiming that Yemen has withdrawn permission for the U.S. to run special ops ground missions against suspected terrorist groups in the country.
Now the Times couldn't have now the Times couldn't help themselves, and they went on to speculate that the decision could have been made because of Donald Trump's immigration executive order, which includes Yemen on the list of seven terror hotbed countries in which citizens are temporarily banned from entering the U.S. But according to the Gateway Pundit, Reuters tells a very different story.
Quote, Yemen said on Wednesday it has not suspended counterterrorism operations with the U.S. government despite controversy over a U.S. commando raid on Al-Qaeda militants in which several civilians were also killed.
