[00:00:04]  Barack Obama will be handing out his last round of presidential Medals of Freedom this week.
[00:00:09]  Now, the Freedom Medals are the nation's highest civilian award, and they're presented to those who make significant contributions to the security or national interests of the United States.
[00:00:18]  So, who's getting these big awards?
[00:00:20]  Well, according to the Washington Free Beacon, 11 of the honorees have made contributions to the Democratic committees or campaigns, including some that directly supported Obama.
[00:00:29]  According to an analysis of federal election commission records, 12 of the individuals have publicly backed Obama or his policies.
[00:00:36]  A handful of the individuals are Hollywood celebs who have used their stature to advocate for Obama or Hillary.
[00:00:42]  And among those receiving the award is Robert De Niro, who recently said he wanted to punch Donald Trump in the face.
[00:00:48]  Of course, he deserves an award for that.
[00:00:49]  Maybe we'll get him some play-doh in a coloring book.
