The StoneZONE - Roger Stone - The Stone Zone | 04-27-26 Aired: 2026-04-28 Duration: 39:12 === Security Concerns for the President (13:38) === [00:00:00] In this 25th anniversary year of September 11th, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation continues to honor America's heroes. [00:00:05] Heroes like Fire Lieutenant Michael Wells, who was inspired by 9-11 to serve his community. [00:00:10] After 14 dedicated years of service, he lost his battle with occupational cancer, leaving behind his wife, Katie, and their three children. [00:00:18] Tunnel to Towers honored Lieutenant Wells by paying off the family's mortgage in recognition of his sacrifices. [00:00:48] This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone. [00:00:52] People love him and respect him. [00:00:53] Roger Stone. [00:00:54] Now, get in the zone. [00:00:57] It's the Stone Zone. [00:00:59] Here's Roger Stone. [00:01:02] You are now entering the Stone Zone. [00:01:05] You know, I spent 40 years in the corroded rectum of the two-party system, and I lived for many years in the swamp. [00:01:14] There are evenings when the pageantry of official Washington reveals itself as nothing more than silk draped over steel nerves. [00:01:22] Last night at the Washington Hilton, amid tuxedos, gowns, champagne, camera flashes, and the annual self-congratulation of the White House press corps, the illusion was shattered in an eruption of gunfire, screams, and yes, panic. [00:01:38] What began as a glittering dinner became in seconds the third major assassination attempt or near-assassination attempt involving President Donald Trump in under two years. [00:01:49] The ballroom had expected laughter, instead received terror. [00:01:54] The setting itself, Kanakari's dark historical residence, the Washington Hilton is however, forever linked with the attempted assassination of President Ronald Reagan in 1981. [00:02:06] That a second modern presidential bloodletting nearly unfolded in the same complex is a fact too astonishing to really ignore. [00:02:15] Critics had long questioned why a commercial hotel with such history remained the venue for high-level presidential appearances. [00:02:23] Last night, those concerns were answered. [00:02:26] In the most violent manner possible. [00:02:28] If ever there was an argument for the building of the president's ballroom within the presidential complex well, last night was it. [00:02:36] The White House correspondents dinner was already under way. [00:02:38] President Trump, first lady Melania Trump, vice president J D Vance, cabinet officials lawmakers journalists, celebrities and invited guests had entered the ballroom only moments earlier. [00:02:50] Dinner service had just begun. [00:02:52] Waiters moved through the aisles, glassware clinked, the official hum of elite conversation floated throughout the room. [00:03:00] Then, approximately between 8.34 and 8.40 p.m. [00:03:04] Eastern, the sound came. [00:03:06] At first, many attendees mistook it for balloons popping or audio equipment malfunctioning. [00:03:12] That is how insulated privilege often hears danger. [00:03:16] But the confusion lasted only a heartbeat. [00:03:19] Agents began shouting warnings. [00:03:21] Security personnel moved with sudden velocity. [00:03:24] Then came the unmistakable truth. [00:03:26] Shots had been fired just outside the secure ballroom perimeter. [00:03:31] Authorities say the gunman identified as Cole Allen, a schoolteacher from California, charged the main magnometer screening area outside the ballroom. [00:03:40] Reports indicate that he passed at least one checkpoint and may have breached two separate security layers before he was stopped. [00:03:48] Surveillance footage reportedly showed him sprinting through a corridor towards a protected event area. [00:03:54] He didn't reach the ballroom himself, but he got close enough to trigger one of the most alarming presidential security breaches in modern history. [00:04:03] He was, indeed, heavily armed. [00:04:05] Metropolitan Police said Allen possessed a shotgun, a handgun, and multiple knives. [00:04:11] Investigators believe the combination reflected preparation for several forms of violence. [00:04:17] A shotgun for mass casualties in a crowd, a handgun for movement through the hallways and tighter spaces, and knives for close-quarters brutality or as backup weapons if the firearms failed. [00:04:30] Investigators are now examining whether any of those weapons were loaded or assembled inside the hotel itself. [00:04:37] The shooting reportedly lasting 20 to 25 seconds. [00:04:41] That span is brief in a clock and eternal in a crisis. [00:04:46] In those seconds, one Secret Service agent was struck in the chest area. [00:04:50] Perective armament, thank goodness, prevented that he was not fatally wounded. [00:04:55] President Trump later remarked, the vest did the job. [00:04:59] Officials later said, the wounded agent, thank God, is expected to recover. [00:05:03] Inside the ballroom, chaos spread with primitive speed. [00:05:07] Roughly 2,600 attendees were inside or connected to the event. [00:05:11] Guests in formal wear dove beneath tables. [00:05:14] Chairs toppled. [00:05:16] Phones flew. [00:05:17] Handbags were snatched from seats. [00:05:19] Witnesses described repeated screams of get down, get down. [00:05:23] Armed agents rushed in with rifles drawn, while senior officials were reportedly pushed to the floor and physically shielded by their protective details. [00:05:32] And because satire writes itself in Washington DC, some members of the well-heeled White House press corps, while scrambling for safety, reportedly did not neglect to seize expensive bottles of wine or liquor from dinner tables on their way out. [00:05:48] Even in a moment of mortal danger, the instinct for complementary privilege remained intact. [00:05:54] President Trump was moved immediately. [00:05:56] So was Melania Trump, vice-president Vance, cabinet officials, including secretary of state Marco Rubio, and other protectees. [00:06:05] By all accounts, the extraction was swift, disciplined and professional. [00:06:10] Whatever failures occurred in the outer screening layers, the inner protective responses appeared to have functioned with precision. [00:06:17] Once the threat actually materialized, the gunman was subdued. [00:06:21] Live Officers and agents converged rapidly and tackled him before he could penetrate further into the security vent zone. [00:06:29] He was not shot dead at the scene, although there were online reports to the contrary. [00:06:34] And this itself is a fact of immense investigative value. [00:06:37] You see, a living suspect leaves behind motives, communications, travel history, finances, writings, electronics, and the possibility of discovering whether he acted alone or when the assistance authorities say that he initially has refused to cooperate. [00:06:53] Public reporting suggests that Allen, as thirty-one years old and a resident of Torres, California, is a public school teacher. [00:07:01] Reports further state that he was a registered guest at the hotel. [00:07:05] That detail may prove central to the entire case. [00:07:09] Hotel guest status could have allowed freer movement inside the portions of the complex and reduced suspicion from staff or security observers. [00:07:19] Investigators believe he traveled by train from Southern California, reportedly routing through Chicago before arriving, in Washington, D.C. [00:07:27] That has raised obvious questions about whether rail travel was selected to avoid airport screening procedures. [00:07:34] Reports also describe Allen as highly educated with a background linked to the California Institute of Technology and experience as a tutor, programmer, or independent video game developer. [00:07:46] Such details only deepen the public fascination with this case. [00:07:50] America has seen this before, that technical competence and physiological instability can coexist in catastrophic form. [00:07:59] Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said the investigators believe the subject targeted administration officials and those that likely included President Donald Trump among those attended targets. [00:08:09] Blanche further stated that Allen was not cooperating. [00:08:13] Metropolitan Police Interim Chief Jeffrey Carroll said that at this stage, it appears the suspect was a lone actor. [00:08:21] That's what they told us about Lee Harvey Oswald, and that's what they told us about Thomas Matthew Crooks. [00:08:26] Candidly, I doubt it. [00:08:28] Secret Service spokesman Aintley Guglielmi said that the president and the first lady were safe, one individual was in custody, and the situation remained under active law enforcement assessment. [00:08:40] Potential charges are going to be severe. [00:08:42] officials say they include assault on a federal officer, attempting to kill a federal officer, firearms offenses tied to violent crime, and discharging a firearm during a crime of violence. [00:08:54] Additional counts could include attempted assassination, terrorism-related charges, or conspiracy if evidence emerges that Cole Allen had accomplices. [00:09:06] The agencies involved, the United States Secret Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Metropolitan Police Department of Washington, D.C., and of course, the Department of Justice. [00:09:16] And federal prosecutors in the District Of Columbia as well. [00:09:19] Other federal agencies may also be assisting with forensic and intelligence support. [00:09:25] President Trump said later they believed that he was likely the target. [00:09:29] He praised the agents and officers who responded. [00:09:32] He also displayed that mordant humor that has often marked his reactions under fire, joking after beers. [00:09:39] Nobody told me that this was such a dangerous profession. [00:09:42] He reportedly criticized the hotel as an imperfect, secure venue and yet again renewed calls for a permanent White House ballroom capable of hosting large events under hardened security Conditions. [00:09:55] That argument for a presidential ballroom within the presidential complex will now gain force. [00:10:00] How did a heavily armed suspect get this close to the president after Butler and after the attack on Trump in the West Palm Beach Trump International Golf Course, as well as the guy who breached the Mar-a-Lago perimeter only weeks ago? [00:10:16] How did hotel guest status permit internal movement? [00:10:20] Were there signs missed? [00:10:21] Did anyone help him? [00:10:23] Why was a commercial venue again entrusted with an event involving the President of the United States? [00:10:29] Those questions now dominate the aftermath. [00:10:31] The dinner itself was halted. [00:10:33] Portions were canceled or suspended. [00:10:36] What had been planned as an evening of vanity and ceremony ended instead in a national security crisis. [00:10:42] Crystal semware, linen napkins, and media smugness proved no match for the crack of gunfire. [00:10:49] Three major attacks or close calls in under two years against the President of the United States Is not normal. [00:10:55] It is not random background noise. [00:10:57] It is a warning. [00:10:59] Last night, under the chandeliers of the Washington Hilton, America heard that warning loud and clear. [00:11:06] Meanwhile, in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis has unveiled the congressional redistricting plan for the Sunshine State. [00:11:14] The governor would essentially create a net increase of four districts to benefit Republicans. [00:11:21] Now, I don't think Governor DeSantis would have done this but for the raw open steel in Virginia. [00:11:28] Where a very confusing ballot initiative proposed to change that congressional delegation from six to five to, I think it was 10 and one, leaving one Republican congressman. [00:11:43] The stakes here are high because whether or not President Trump is impeached by a new Congress could hang in the balance. [00:11:51] And now, in a major win for election integrity and states' rights, the Supreme Court of the United States has overturned a lower court ruling that blocked Texas. from implementing its newly drawn congressional map, clearing the way for a plan that could add up to five Republican seats in the U.S. House. [00:12:10] In a brief order, the U.S. Supreme Court stated that it was reversing the district court's judgment with liberal justices dissenting. [00:12:18] The decision reinforces a key constitutional principle. [00:12:22] Elected state legislators, not unelected judges, have primary authority over congressional redistricting. [00:12:29] The court had already signaled its position earlier this year when it allowed Texas to proceed with the map while legal challenges played out. [00:12:37] In making their ruling, justices pointed to pressure, or I should say, to presume lawmakers acted in good faith and an over-reliance on speculative claims of misconduct. [00:12:49] Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton led the charge in defending the map, arguing that the lower court ignored political realities and unfairly accused lawmakers of racial bias. [00:13:00] Without any credible evidence to support that argument. [00:13:03] His office maintained that the map reflects legitimate political priorities in a closely divided Congress. [00:13:10] The ruling also comes after dramatic efforts by Texas Democrats to block the process, actually fleeing the state capitol in order to deny a quorum and halt the vote on redistricting. [00:13:21] Despite those tactics, Republicans ultimately passed their redistricting plan, and now, with the Supreme Court's backing, Texas moves forward, delivering a clear message that partisan lawfare And judicial overreach will not stand in the way of lawful congressional redistricting. === Political Hoax and Tax Arguments (14:49) === [00:13:38] You're listening to the hottest political talk show on radio today. [00:13:42] It's The Stone Zone right here on the Red Apple Audio Networks, and we'll be right back. [00:13:47] This is The Stone Zone with Roger Stone. [00:13:51] And he's a great, great person, Roger Stone. [00:13:55] The Stone Zone. [00:14:07] This is the Stone Zone. [00:14:09] Now, get in the zone. [00:14:11] It's the Stone Zone. [00:14:13] A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people love him. [00:14:20] Not everybody, but people love him and respect him. [00:14:23] Roger Stone. [00:14:24] Where's Roger Stone? [00:14:26] Here's Roger Stone. [00:14:29] I'm Roger Stone, and you're back in the Stone Zone. [00:14:32] In a tense interview on 60 Minutes, President Donald Trump addressed the recent shooting. [00:14:37] tied to the White House correspondence dinner while challenging the biased coverage in favor of the left by the fake news media outlet. [00:14:45] Speaking with Nora O'Donnell, President Trump criticized activist movements like No Kings, suggesting that they contribute to political unrest. [00:14:54] Notably, President Trump called for greater scrutiny of the Southern Poverty Law Center following reports that that organization has been indicted by a grand jury on fraud-related charges. [00:15:04] According to the allegations, the SPLC Funnel donor funds to extremist groups that is publicly condemned. [00:15:12] They're effectively creating the white supremacist terror threat they claim to be opposing and then raked in tens of millions of dollars in donations in the aftermath. [00:15:21] A cruel hoax that riffed off America apart from profits. [00:15:25] A FBI agent once told me that if you went to a Ku Klux Klan meeting, there would be ten people there. [00:15:31] The problem was nine of them would be FBI informants and only one of them would be an actual Klansman. [00:15:37] President Trump argued that such actions reflect a pattern in which left-leaning institutions manufacture threats to justify their own existing and their fundraising capability. [00:15:48] The Jussie Smollett affair was far from an isolated incident. [00:15:51] It was in actuality the modus operandi of the entire left. [00:15:56] President Trump tied this to longstanding grievances over media coverage of events like the 2017 Charlottesville Unite the Right rally, noting that his remarks at the time were deliberately misrepresented and distorted in order to try to damage his presidency. [00:16:11] While the Southern Poverty Law Center has not been convicted and denies wrongdoing, The case raises serious questions about accountability among left-wing advocacy organizations. [00:16:23] President Trump urged journalists to do their damn jobs and investigate further. [00:16:27] It was well known on the right that the SPLC was a harmful scam, demonizing pro-life Christians and putting literally targets on their backs. [00:16:36] But the fake news media looked the other way because, well, they're all in it together. [00:16:41] They're all collaborators. [00:16:42] They all are enemy combatants when it comes to war against the Constitution. [00:16:47] Of course, the president also took the opportunity. [00:16:49] Once again, after the attempted assassination of himself and other officials of administration to call for a secure White House ballroom, arguing that the incident proves exactly why it's needed. [00:17:01] In a post on Truth Social, Trump said presidents and security officials have demanded such a facility for over a century. [00:17:08] He emphasized that a ballroom built within the secure perimeter of the White House would have eliminated vulnerabilities seen at offsite venues like the Washington Hilton. [00:17:18] Indeed, the Washington Hilton, where there was an assassination attempt on my mentor, President Ronald Reagan. [00:17:24] This is one where the suspect was able to bypass outer security levels that were woefully inadequate for such an event. [00:17:31] President Trump described the proposed $400 million project, funded entirely privately and without taxpayer dollars, as a top-level security upgrade already underway, although slowed by legal challenges. [00:17:45] The president blasted what he called the ridiculous lawsuit attempting to block construction, arguing that national security should take precedence. [00:17:53] Supporters say the shooting demonstrates the risks of hosting high-level government officials. [00:17:58] In less secure locations. [00:18:01] And once again, the president is right. [00:18:03] What many people don't know is there's also a national security component that is to be built beneath the ballroom. [00:18:11] Once again, Donald Trump is right. [00:18:12] We need the ballroom, and a federal judge should not be allowed under the separation of powers portion of the U.S. Constitution to block that construction. [00:18:21] We'll be right back. [00:18:23] This is the Stone Zone. [00:18:25] Now, get in the zone. [00:18:27] It's the Stone Zone. [00:18:29] A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going, and he's smart, and he's strong, and people. [00:18:35] Love him, not everybody, but people love him and respect him. [00:18:38] Roger Stone. [00:18:39] Where's Roger Stone? [00:18:42] Here's Roger Stone. [00:18:45] And you're jumping headfirst back into the Stone Zone. [00:18:48] I'm your host, Roger Stone. [00:18:51] Former President Barack Hussein Obama is drawing sharp criticism after claiming that the motive behind Saturday night's attempted shooting at the White House correspondence dinner remains quote unquote unclear. [00:19:04] Despite authorities already releasing a manifesto. [00:19:07] spelling out the suspect's actual intent. [00:19:10] In a public statement, Barry H. Obama urged Americans to reject political violence, but said details about the motive were still unknown. [00:19:20] That assertion quickly sparked backlash from conservatives and law enforcement voices, who made it clear that the facts are already on the table. [00:19:28] Officials identified the suspect as one Cole Allen, a far-left California public educator, that's a public school teacher, who allegedly authored a manifesto Targeting President Donald Trump and members of his administration. [00:19:42] The document reportedly outlined plans to assassinate Trump officials from highest to lowest, while attacking the president's immigration policies and Christian belief. [00:19:53] Clear signs of a radicalized, politically motivated attack by Allen. [00:19:58] Prominent Republicans didn't hold back at Obama's shameful, silver-tongued spin doctoring. [00:20:04] President Mike Lee, pardon, that's Senator Mark Lee of Utah, called the motive obvious. [00:20:10] While administration officials like Lee Zeldin of New York blasted what they see as a willful blindness from Obama and the other political leaders unwilling to confront left-wing extremism and hate mongering. [00:20:24] The incident unfolded, of course, at the Washington Hilton where the annual dinner was underway. [00:20:29] Ironically, the exact same hotel while President Ronald Reagan was attacked. [00:20:35] Authorities say that Cole Allen, the man accused, was staying at the hotel. [00:20:39] He bypassed outer security, approached a Secret Service checkpoint and fired. [00:20:44] striking the agent's bulletproof vest before being subdued. [00:20:48] President Trump praised the swift response of law enforcement and renewed calls for stronger security measures. [00:20:55] But unfortunately, the Trump derangement syndrome has taken hold in this country thanks to the efforts of the Democrats and their allies in the fake news media, working hand in glove to produce baseless anti-Trump propaganda now for over a decade. [00:21:11] We have to remain on high alert for the results. [00:21:15] Meanwhile, Melania Trump, the gorgeous and cultured First Lady of the United States, but the only one who's never appeared on the cover of Vogue, is calling out another example of toxic rhetoric from a late-night television host, Jimmy Kimmel, after he made a disgustingly distasteless joke that Melania had the glow of an expectant widow on her face while mocking her marriage to President Donald Trump during a parody of the White House correspondence dinner. [00:21:44] First Lady fired back, calling the remarks Hateful and violent, and accusing ABC of enabling behavior that she says deepens division in the country. [00:21:54] Just days after Kimmel's comments, the actual correspondence dinner was subject to this attempted attack from a radicalized leftist. [00:22:03] The suspect now faces serious federal charges. [00:22:07] The issue goes beyond one tasteless joke here. [00:22:10] Kimmel has a long history of anti-Trump rhetoric, frequently using his platform to ridicule the president and his supporters. [00:22:19] Kimmel's disgusting remarks follow the Charlie Kirk assassination that got him removed from the air for a period amidst massive public outrage. [00:22:29] Melania Trump is now demanding accountability urging ABC to take a stand against Kimmel. [00:22:35] It would be one thing if this were a good-faith attempt at humor, but Kimmel no longer does comedy. [00:22:40] He does vile anti-America propaganda and hate. [00:22:44] He's a talking head who is part of the far-left democrat machine that radicalizes Americans against MAGA and tacitly enables extremists to commit acts of violence against President Trump and his supporters. [00:22:58] Trust me, I know what this is like. [00:23:00] This is what he has been doing for many years now. [00:23:03] ABC must no longer platform this agent of evil. [00:23:07] Send Kimmel to the unemployment line now with his cohort, Stephen Colbert, who was recently canceled after years of low ratings by CBS. [00:23:17] Here's some good news. [00:23:18] A key hurdle was cleared for Kevin Warsh in his nomination to lead the Federal Reserve Board. [00:23:25] It's gaining momentum in the U.S. Senate. [00:23:27] U.S. Senator from North Carolina, Tom Tillis, announced Sunday that he now will support moving Warsh's confirmation forward. [00:23:35] After previously holding out over concerns over a Department OF Justice investigation into current FED chair Jerome Powell over his extravagant, multi-billion dollar Federal Reserve Board renovation boondoggle, Tillis had refused to advance any nominee until the DJ dropped its probe, showing his true rhino colors in the process. [00:23:58] In all honesty, Tillis is a stain on the? [00:24:01] U S Senate and he's not running for reelection because he would have been summarily defeated. [00:24:06] That concern appears to have been resolved after U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, who used to appear here as one of my colleagues, confirmed the investigation would be dropped. [00:24:16] Tillis said he received assurances the matter is completely and fully ended and not being used as leverage against the Federal Reserve Board. [00:24:24] The Senator emphasized that protecting the independence of the Federal Reserve is critical. [00:24:29] Independence, of course, being a code word for complete and total lack of accountability by the American people. [00:24:36] The Federal Reserve under Jerome Powell Cut taxes to try to benefit, cut interest rates, pardon me, to try to benefit the reelection of Joe Biden, despite the fact that the unemployment rate and the inflation rate were lower than or higher than they are now. [00:24:52] Yet Jerome Toolate Powell has refused the deep interest rate cut that all the economic indicators would say would be merit. [00:25:02] Warsh, a former Fed governor with private sector experience, is widely viewed by conservatives as a steady, reform minded choice who would bring accountability and discipline. [00:25:13] Back to the central bank. [00:25:15] Warsh is not expected to manipulate interest rates to fuel his own partisan political aims like Powell did. [00:25:22] With Powell's term set to expire on May 15th, Tillis's support should prove decisive in pushing Kevin Warsh's nomination through committee and onto the Senate floor where it is expected to pass with no problems. [00:25:35] Tillis's objections show the need for MAGA patriots to get involved in the primary process and remove some of these entrenched rhinos with America First Patriots as much as possible. [00:25:47] Once enough, Rhinos are removed. [00:25:50] Then the DOJ will not be held hostage to their establishment-oriented demands like unfortunately we're seeing right now. [00:25:57] Meanwhile, a major tax battle is brewing in California as union-backed activists have put an important question on the ballot. [00:26:07] Supporters of this new proposal led by the far-left Service Employees International Union claim they've gathered over 1.5 million signatures to place a billionaire tax on the November ballot. [00:26:20] The measure would impose a one time, 5% tax on individuals with assets exceeding $1.1 billion, with revenues largely earmarked for healthcare programs, the same type of programs that are getting built nationwide by scammers. [00:26:36] We've seen this in Minnesota, millions and millions of tax dollars being stolen right from under the nose of their governor, or perhaps the governor was in on it. [00:26:46] We don't know. [00:26:47] Proponents of this tax in California argue that it's needed to offset federal spending cuts, which is just another excuse to enact more runaway tax and spend policies targeting wealth creators. [00:27:00] Opposition is already mounting. [00:27:02] Business leaders and economists caution that the proposal could devastate California's economy, costing an estimated 100,000 plus good paying jobs and driving billions in lost revenue as entrepreneurs and investors flee the golden state. [00:27:19] Even some Democrats, including governor Gavin Newsome, have voiced concerns about the long-term damage. [00:27:25] Economists note that the tax could backfire badly, trading a short-term cash grab for lasting economic decline. [00:27:34] But by that time, socialists will already have found a new scapegoat and will proceed with even more big government power grabs. [00:27:41] Previous studies suggest that high-net-worth individuals may simply leave California, shrinking the tax base and forcing cuts to essential services like education and health care. [00:27:53] Meanwhile, alternative ballot measures backed by the tech leaders aim to block or weaken the proposal, setting up a high-stakes political showdown With the future of California on the line. [00:28:05] There's already been a major exodus from California of wealthy business creators, and the billionaire tax would accelerate the process of capital bolting that state. [00:28:15] It will result in squalor and misery, but the socialists really don't care. [00:28:19] They'll continue onward regardless because it's not about helping people, it's about ruthlessly amassing government power. === Musk, Altman, and Financial Fraud (05:09) === [00:28:27] Meanwhile, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's husband has turned out to have very shady foreign deals. [00:28:35] House Oversight Committee James Comer of Kentucky is intensifying his investigation into the financial dealings surrounding Representative Ilhan Omar and her husband Tim Minette. [00:28:47] At the center of the probe is a series of international business ventures linked to Minette spanning Kenya, Somalia, and Dubai. [00:28:55] Comer has demanded full documentation of travel, financial transactions, and business solicitations, but a February deadline passed with no clear public compliance by Omar or her husband. [00:29:08] The situation took a dramatic turn when Omar quietly amended her 2024 financial disclosure forms with the U.S. House. [00:29:16] What was previously reported as a combined $30 million valuation for two companies, Rose Lake Capital and S2 Crew LLC, was suddenly revised down to almost zero. [00:29:29] Just days later, records showed that the winery tied to those valuations had dissolved entirely. [00:29:36] Critics say the timing raises red flags of a cover-up. [00:29:40] Forensic accountants have pointed to major inconsistencies while past ventures turned to Mainat, the husband of Ilhan Omar, have faced lawsuits and investor complaints. [00:29:51] Meanwhile, Rose Lake Capital once claimed massive global reach and billions under management, figures that appear wildly out of step with earlier disclosures showing that they had minimal assets. [00:30:04] Congressman Comer warns that the lack of clarity opens the door to foreign influence, particularly given Omar's role in the Congress. [00:30:13] The investigation also comes amid broader concerns about fraud scandals in Minnesota, her home district. [00:30:19] Omar's office has dismissed the probe as political, but with unanswered questions piling up and financial records shifting dramatically, pressure is mounting against the Somali lawmaker. [00:30:32] Turns out that she may be as crooked as many of her fellow migrants in Minnesota. [00:30:36] We were told that diversity is our strength, but in this case, it seems like this group of people came over to this country to bleed us dry. [00:30:45] Prosecuting Omar for financial fraud, kicking her out of Congress, and putting her and her crooked husband behind bars would send a message to the migrant community that coming to America is a privilege, and we will not look the other way out of fears of being called racists or bigots if you commit criminal acts in this country. [00:31:04] You'll be locked up and you'll be sent back. [00:31:07] Meanwhile, the tech overlords are facing off in a court of law, and high stakes courtroom battles are underway in California as tech giants Elon Musk and Sam Altman. face off over the future of artificial intelligence. [00:31:21] At the center of this case is OpenAI, originally founded in 2015 as a nonprofit with a mission to develop artificial intelligence responsibility. [00:31:32] Musk, who was an earlier backer, now alleges that Altman and his company betrayed that mission, quietly transforming OpenAI into a profit-driven powerhouse aligned with big tech interests. [00:31:45] The lawsuit claims that Altman abandoned the organization's founding principles in pursuit of massive financial gain, turning what was meant to be a public good with a corporate juggernaut now valued in the hundreds of billions of dollars. [00:32:00] OpenAI denies the accusations, dismissing the case as a personal grievance tied to Musk's competing venture. [00:32:08] That would be grok. [00:32:09] But the implications go far beyond a simple business dispute. [00:32:14] Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping our economy, raising serious concerns about job loss, censorship, and unchecked corporate power. [00:32:23] Musk, who has long sounded the alarm on AI's risks said the case is about more than money. [00:32:29] It's about the, quote, fate of civilization, unquote. [00:32:33] He's now seeking reforms and accountability rather than personal damages. [00:32:38] As testimony unfolds, the trial could expose how Silicon Valley operates behind closed doors and whether the promises made to the public about ethical innovation were never actually real. [00:32:50] I think it's safe to assume that they were not. [00:32:53] Most of the tech elite in Silicon Valley sees themselves as gods. [00:32:57] among men and want to manipulate technology in order to merge themselves with computers. [00:33:03] This is part of their transhumanist plot to live forever and lord over the rest of us, even if they decide to let us live. [00:33:11] Musk has shown with the acquisition of Twitter and the immense support for President Donald Trump in 2024 that he has a soul. [00:33:19] Even though Elon Musk may have some off-the-wall beliefs and stick his foot in his mouth from time to time, he's demonstrated that he's on team Humanity. [00:33:28] Hopefully, Musk's lawsuit is successful, bringing rogue AI to heel and holding Altman accountable for his corporate treachery. === NATO Allies Pay Their Share (04:18) === [00:33:37] I'm Roger Stone. [00:33:38] You're listening to the Stone Zone. [00:33:39] We've got more on the other side, so whatever you do, don't go away. [00:33:43] This is the Stone Zone with Roger Stone. [00:33:46] That is a great, great person, Roger Stone. [00:33:51] The Stone Zone. [00:34:02] This is the Stone Zone. [00:34:05] Now, get him his own. [00:34:06] It's the Stone Zone. [00:34:08] A man who's gone through hell, but he's kept going and he's smart and he's strong and people love him. [00:34:15] Not everybody, but people love him and respect him. [00:34:18] Roger Stone. [00:34:19] Where's Roger Stone? [00:34:21] Here's Roger Stone. [00:34:24] And we're back in the Stone Zone. [00:34:25] You know, back in 1988, when I first suggested that Donald Trump run for president, we made a trip to the Portsmouth, New Hampshire Chamber of Commerce where he was the luncheon speaker. [00:34:37] And he spoke openly about the fact that our NATO allies were not paying their fair share for their defense. [00:34:44] Now, a new global defense report is confirming what many conservatives have argued for years. [00:34:50] President Donald Trump's tough America First policies have finally forced Europe to step up and pay its fair share for their own security. [00:34:57] According to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, worldwide military spending hit $2.8 trillion in 2025, marking over a decade of steady increases. [00:35:11] But the real story is in Europe, where the defense spending surged by an eye-popping 14%, far outpacing the rest of the world. [00:35:21] Meanwhile, the United States spending to subsidize the defenses of Europe and all the European nations actually declined by 7.5%, reflecting Trump's push to rein in foreign entanglements and stop footing the bill for endless overseas conflicts. [00:35:37] In his first term, President Donald Trump collected over $650 million in past-due dues to NATO, from the European nations. [00:35:47] For years, Trump has warned that NATO allies could no longer rely on American taxpayers while neglecting to fund their own defenses. [00:35:56] And now, the numbers show that that message is finally getting through, particularly as the Iran conflict has broken out, where NATO countries have left America high and dry. [00:36:06] In some cases, our NATO allies would not even allow us to use our own bases in their countries. [00:36:12] European nations collectively spent $864 billion on defense this year. [00:36:17] With major investments in modern equipment, much of it purchased from American companies, delivering a boost to U.S. industry and our economy, countries like Poland and Germany are rapidly expanding their military capabilities, reversing decades of underinvestment following the Cold War. [00:36:36] Even nations who claim they're acting independently are, in reality, moving exactly in the direction Trump has demanded, towards a stronger, more self-reliant Europe that shares the burden of global security. [00:36:49] After years of imbalance, NATO is shifting towards fairness. [00:36:53] It's a long overdue change, and it will endure even after President Trump leaves office. [00:36:58] I'm glad there was no tragedy at the White House Correspondence Dinner. [00:37:02] The only real tragedy, other than the federal agent who was attacked and wounded, but will survive, was the fact that President Trump had a terrific comedy routine worked out, as is traditional. [00:37:15] He'd actually tried out some of his jokes on me in the Oval Office the previous Wednesday. [00:37:20] It was terrific material. [00:37:22] In a way, I hope they do reschedule this because, well, Donald Trump is naturally funny, and I think he would have won the night with some self-deprecating humor, but also jabbing the far-left fake news media. [00:37:36] In the meantime, I thank God that he is safe, but I also point out this is not the third, but actually the fourth attempt on his life. [00:37:43] Remember the man who stormed the gate at Mar-a-Lago? [00:37:46] Happened to be on a weekend that the president was not there, but a man breached the perimeter with a loaded shotgun. [00:37:52] Only to be shot and killed by Secret Service agents. === Blaming Radicals for Violence (01:16) === [00:37:56] All of this violence against the President of the United States and his supporters is ginned up by the torrent of hate put forward by people like Hakeem Jeffries and Senator Chuck Schumer, AOC, Bernie Sanders, and the rest of the left-wing cabal. [00:38:12] They blame us, but the blame is very clear on their overheated rhetoric and their constant attacks on Donald Trump as a fascist, Hitler, a white supremacist, and a hater. [00:38:24] They are precisely that. [00:38:25] They are the radicals, and their rhetoric is responsible for this outrageous spasm of violence. [00:38:32] I'm Roger Stone. [00:38:32] Thanks for joining us today in the Stone Zone. [00:38:34] Until tomorrow, God bless you and God speed. [00:38:39] Thanks for listening to The Stone Zone with Roger Stone.
