Dave Rubin dissects the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting, analyzing Cole Allen's Caltech background and $25 donation to Kamala Harris alongside Hassan Piker's radical rhetoric. He critiques media figures like Jimmy Kimmel and the Lincoln Project for deflecting blame while accusing Trump of sexual misconduct, contrasting this with Trump's firm denial during his Nora O'Donnell interview. The segment argues that left-wing normalization of violence, coupled with DHS funding gaps, threatens American values unless Democrats distance themselves from extremists before conspiracy theories dismiss these events as false flags. And do you think we have anything to talk about today?
Like, subscribe, comment, all that stuff.
You know, before we dive into the show, which obviously you know what we're talking about for the most part today, it's the third now assassination, at least third assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life.
I just want to mention two things real quick, just relative to the temperature of the country and how we suddenly become numb to these things.
So, we had quite a weekend over here.
The kids caught a stomach bug, and there's been a lot of diarrhea and vomiting and all that.
And the reason I am mentioning that to you is that after a weekend of that, so Saturday night, I'm putting them down.
It's just rough.
Anyone that's had kids, you've been through all this.
And then I get a text.
My phone started blowing up at around 10 o'clock, saying what had happened.
And I'm looking on Twitter.
And my reaction after just a long day of cleaning up poop and vomit and everything, I was like, all right, if Trump's okay, I'm going to bed.
And then that brings me to the second point.
Which is that we've become so normalized to this that it's like, I was like, all right, well, if he's alive, I'll go to bed.
But imagine if it had been the other way, what the world would look like right now.
And I don't think we're thinking about that enough that, you know, we could just be like, oh, another assassination attempt.
Oh, there was another guy that brought a gun to the golf course.
Oh, another guy shot him here.
This person had this plan or the rhetoric, blah, blah, blah.
But imagine if it went the other way.
We would be in, to call it uncharted territory right now.
What I would be talking about right now, what we would all be going through right now.
What would be happening quite literally across the globe right now is unimaginable.
And yet, there is something in play that is making everything that leads up to it normal.
So, I want to just put that there as the backdrop.
We're now going to dive into what happened, some of the media coverage around it, which, surprise, surprise, not so good.
And then Trump doing Trump, which is just giving a press conference right after, doing media hits, and everything else.
So, let's dive in.
First, video.
I'm sure you've seen some versions of this.
There's a bunch of different angles coming out.
Here is video of Trump and guests at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
when the shots were fired.
Okay, so the shots obviously were fired outside of the room.
We'll have more on the shooter and some of the things that happened and potentially how he coordinated some of this and everything else.
But you could see Trump, you know, when you see the Secret Service guys jump in, Trump just constantly maintains a certain level of calm amongst all of this.
I think he's just resigned himself, and we'll show you some of the interview in a little bit, resigned himself to the fact that this is, in some sense, baked into being the president of the United States, and that's really dangerous.
So, anyway, they dragged him.
Obviously, off the dais.
Here's a couple pictures.
You'll see Mike Johnson being rushed out.
There are just some Secret Service agents, obviously, helping people.
And then there's Bobby Kennedy and his wife, Cheryl Hines, being rushed out.
And then I really thought this probably is the picture of the entire thing, at least in terms of not involving Trump.
There's Stephen Miller, and you can see his arm over his pregnant wife.
And in the background, you can see Pete Hegseth and just that look on his face, and he's standing above his wife.
A lot of people were saying that Hegseth has the look of a guy that's like, damn, I wish I had brought my gun to this thing.
But I thought that image right there, you know, these are two top guys in the administration who people say all sorts of horrible, horrible things about, some of which we'll cover in a bit.
And there they are taking care of their wives.
Let's read a truth from Donald Trump.
Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and law enforcement did a fantastic job.
They acted quickly and bravely.
The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we let the show go on.
But will entirely be guided by law enforcement.
They will make a decision shortly.
Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different than planned, and we'll just plain have to do it again.
President Donald J. Trump.
I mean, the fact that he even gets out there and immediately afterwards is like the show must go on.
That is quintessential Donald Trump.
Oh, somebody was just trying to shoot me.
They were just in the room over there.
We've been through this a couple times.
Let's just see what happens, and hopefully we can put on a show.
And you just, when you look at all those people, you know, I always say it's like sometimes when you talk about these political people, it's like the Muppet Show.
Like, you know, in the Muppets, oh, there's Kermit and there's Gonzo and Fozzie Bear, and who do you like?
Like, are they real people or are they just kind of Muppets in that?
And I guess I'm one to.
The Muppets, to some extent, but these are real people.
And any, you know, a lot of times in assassination attempts, it's they don't get the main guy they're going for, they get somebody else, some other random person.
Here is Trump.
I thought this was, well, this is again, this is quintessential.
That's the word of the day.
This is quintessential Donald Trump on why these attempts keep happening to him.
unidentified
I ask respectfully, why do you think this keeps happening to you?
Well, you know, I've studied assassinations, and I must tell you the most impactful people, the people that do the most, you take a look at the people, Abraham Lincoln, I mean, you go through the people that have gone through this where they got them.
But the people that do the most, the people that make the biggest impact, they're the ones that they go after.
They don't go after the ones that don't do much because they like it that way.
There are a lot of people that are not happy about that.
If Donald Trump was just generic politician 101, right, wouldn't even matter Republican or Democrat, but just not doing much.
If the system was just kind of the way it was and it was just slowly being turned up on us, we were all just frogs in an ever so slightly warmer pot, then Probably people wouldn't be so ginned up to do these things.
But he is consequential.
Actually, I would say he's the most consequential human being in modern times.
And he's pissing off a lot of people by doing things a little bit differently.
He's pissing off a lot of people by draining the swamp, calling out the nonsense of the mainstream media, getting us out of these ridiculous globalist order situations that we've been in post World War II, telling our allies they have to behave, doing more for the people as opposed to.
To the powers that be, like he's doing all of the things, and that obviously is a threat.
And then, of course, when you just add in the way the media has lied about him and the hope, you know, Russia, Russia, Russia, and very fine people, and he's a pedophile, and all of these other things.
Like, when you add all of that up, it might be enough of a toxic stew for somebody who's been so brain broken to believe that Trump is the bad guy to want to go out and kill him.
So, not only did he do a press conference the very night of this thing, then he went on with Nora O'Donnell for a one on one.
Interview and again, watch just like calm, cool, and collected.
How worried are you that there were going to be injuries?
Well, the obvious, like most people would be like, I was very worried.
I heard a shot and I thought somebody might be killed.
Maybe there were more shooters.
I was worried for myself.
I was worried for my wife or whatever.
His response to say we live in a crazy world, I think, is really telling of where he's at psychologically at the moment.
And again, he's not, he didn't sit there with notes.
Remember Joe Biden always had a little note card and often would get things wrong despite the note card.
He's not doing this off the Proud Air, and he's doing this right after the attempt.
And his response is the world is nutty.
And what that really is saying is I'm out here doing the best I can.
I'm the president of the United States, and I'm trying to make America great again.
And there is bad stuff that's out there.
And he's really, what he's really, actually, this is what it is.
What he's really saying is, I'm going to do what I got to do regardless of the consequences, knowing that those consequences could be quite horrific.
And I think that's just another level of, you know, when you talk about the difference between Trump 45, his first go around, and this Trump, post Butler assassination, post the gunman at Trump Doral over here in Florida, post this, there is a certain.
Just a certain acceptance of what his role is in this world that he has taken on.
And I genuinely think, like, tell me what you think in the comments.
But I genuinely think he wakes up and he's like, what can I do for the country?
And I don't think he thinks about all the horrible things, well, certainly that they say about him all the time.
But I don't think that he thinks about all the horrible things they could do to him all the time either, because how could you function?
How could you actually get out there and do anything if you were constantly worried about that?
And clearly that seems to be increasing, the general threat level.
So now let's show you a little more granular stuff on the shooter.
And what happened?
So, here's footage of the shooter sprinting past Secret Service right as the whole thing was unfolding.
Okay, so you can see this guy's quick.
We'll show you more on him in just a second, but you can see Secret Service immediately on it.
But really, they're crediting the people who then saved his life and probably multiple other lives.
You just saw it there, but here's the image of the shooter.
His name is Cole Allen, stripped and on the floor.
Now we'll give you a little bit more information on this guy.
This is from Fox.
The man accused of opening fire at the Washington Hilton Hotel during the White House Correspondents' Dinner has been identified as Cole Allen, 31, a computer scientist from Torrance, California, who went from designing first-person shooter games into becoming an alleged shooter himself.
In September 2013, according to his online profile, he enrolled in the highly competitive California Institute of Technology, known as Caltech, to pursue a BS in mechanical engineering, graduating in 2017.
Caltech confirmed to Fox News Digital that a student named Cole Allen graduated from the school in 2017.
In the summer of 2014, he wrote that he landed another competitive spot as a summer undergraduate research student fellow at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where he said he had contributed to astrophysics research.
Beginning in March 2020, his LinkedIn profile says he joined the C2 Education, a tutoring company, enrolling in California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2022 to pursue an ms in computer science, graduating in may 2025.
The school also confirmed that a person by the same name graduated with a master's degree that year.
According to Federal Election Commission records, Allen donated 25 to Kamala Harris during the 2024 election cycle.
He looks just, you know, kind of like a normal guy that you'd bump into on any given day.
He clearly was very bright and he had a Seemingly had a great education, at least in the most standard sense of what education is, and had probably a bright future and plenty of jobs lined up.
Like a guy that's got that kind of pedigree, you're set up for the future as AI comes and everything else.
The $25 to Kamala Harris, that in and of itself obviously doesn't mean anything.
But there is something interesting about the fact that he was into these shooter games because these first person shooter games are getting more and more realistic by the day.
And there is some level of radicalization.
I am in no way blaming video games for this.
But there is some level of radicalization that is happening on these online video game forums and things of that nature.
So now they did release his manifesto.
I'm going to read some of it.
Before I do, I just want to talk about the philosophic notion behind releasing these things or not releasing these things.
On one hand, you can make the argument you should release their manifestos because we want as much transparency to know why these people did it or at least why they claim to do it.
On the other hand, by releasing these manifestos, you're sort of putting their ideas on steroids.
You're giving credence and credit to their ideas.
Also, they could be making up things in the manifesto that aren't clear.
They could be sending signals to people and everything else.
So, there's a tension, I would say, between being as transparent as possible.
Should we release the manifesto?
Here's, in their own words, why this person did this or why they claim to have done it.
Versus, are we amplifying this enough so that someone else might be like, you know what, I'll try it too because I'd love my words to be heard?
Like, are you giving basically steroids to all of the crazy people who just want to be known for something?
And by the way, a lot of the shooters.
When it comes to high profile people, you find out psychologically they just wanted to be famous.
They wanted to be known for something in the history books.
So I think you can have a seriously valid and valuable conversation about whether you release them or not.
Nonetheless, it has been released, so let's dive in a little bit.
This is an image, and I'll read a bit.
Hello, everybody.
So I may have given a lot of people a surprise today.
Let me start off by apologizing to everyone whose trust I abused.
I apologize to my parents for saying I had an interview without specifying it was for most wanted.
I apologize to my colleagues and students for saying I had a personal emergency.
By the time anyone reads this, I probably most certainly do need to go to the ER, but can hardly call that a non-inflicted status.
I apologize to all the people I traveled next to, all the workers who handled my luggage, and all the other non-targeted people at the hotel who I put in danger by simply being near.
I apologize to everyone who was abused and or murdered before this, to all those who suffered before I was able to attempt this, to all who may still suffer after, regardless of my success or failure.
I don't expect forgiveness, but if I could have seen any other way to get this close, I would have taken it.
Again, my sincere apologies.
On to why I did any of this.
I am a citizen of the United States of America.
What my representatives do reflects on me.
And I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.
Well, to be completely honest, I was no longer willing a long time ago, but this is the first opportunity I've had to do something about it.
Okay, so we'll get into a little bit more of the apparent ideology in just a second.
But I think it's worth noting one of the interesting things around these people.
You know, the guy who killed Charlie Kirk, Tyler Robinson, you know, apparently was in this trans relationship and didn't like that Charlie talked about trans people.
This guy has his reasonings for Trump.
And what happens to these people who've become radicalized, and I'm sure we're going to find out more about how it happened online and everything else, is that they start thinking, boy, if I just kill this person, it will somehow solve something.
But if you look at the world post.
Charlie Kirk's assassination.
Well, in many cases, you can argue that politically things have gotten much worse for sure, particularly in a certain segment of the right.
But did the assassination of Charlie Kirk do anything to help the cause of, let's say, trans rights that Tyler Robinson wanted?
Of course not.
Absolutely nothing.
If anything, you could argue it the complete other way.
More people are now looking at this set of people with the skeptical eye, at the very least.
Now, let's imagine that this guy, Cole Allen, had killed Donald Trump.
Would it have stopped any of the things that he doesn't like about Donald Trump?
Obviously, no.
It actually would have probably caused a much bigger reaction to his ideology, which it probably should have.
So there's a confusion with all of these people.
And I think that shows you a little bit of the mania and the psychological defect behind these people.
I can solve all of the world's problems by murdering somebody who I'm against.
And there's just no evidence.
Beyond the fact that you shouldn't kill other people and everything else, there's just no evidence, but they become.
So caught up in that fever dream of what they could do and who they are and what their place is and that they'll be famous after and everything else that they, they do the unthinkable.
Uh, here's just a little bit more from the manifesto.
While I'm discussing this, I'll also go over my expected rules of engagement, probably in a terrible format, but I'm not military, so too bad.
Administration officials, not including Mr. Patel, they are targets prioritized from highest ranking to lowest secret service.
They are targets only if necessary and to be incapacitated non-lethally If possible, aka, I hope they're wearing body armor because center mass with shotguns messes up people who aren't hotel security.
Not targets, if at all possible, aka, unless they shoot at me.
Capitol Police, same as hotel security.
National Guard, same as hotel security.
Hotel employees, not targets at all.
Guests, not targets at all.
In order to minimize casualties, I will also be using a buckshot rather than slugs, less penetration through walls.
I would still go through most everyone here to get to the targets if it were absolutely necessary on the basis that most people chose to attend a speech By a pedophile rapist and traitor, and are thus complicit.
I mean, if you want to get now to some of the psychological damage that this guy had, so he has a list basically of who he's willing to kill and in kind of what order he has decided he will kill so that he can get to Trump.
So he doesn't really want to kill a hotel employee.
Hotel security might be a little more complicit, and Secret Service is certainly a little more complicit, and people that are in the administration are a little more complicit.
And he doesn't want to kill any of these people, including the guests, but you know, he basically says at the end, if I have to kill guests to get to Trump, I will kill guests.
And of course, the ultimate irony of that is most of the people at the White House Correspondents' Dinner are Democrats.
They are against Trump.
It's a lot of mainstream media people.
So what he's saying is, I'll kill a couple MSNBC people who are on my side of all of these issues if it's in service of killing the president of the United States.
Okay, let's just go through a couple of this guy's tweets now as well.
This is November 16th.
2024.
And again, look at this guy.
He could be anybody, right?
Like this guy looks like anybody that you might see at a cafe or be at work with or anything else.
November 16th, 2024.
Leaving for bluer skies as soon as I get my data archive, I don't think there's much reason to be on here anymore.
So is that some sort of hint that he's been thinking about killing himself or killing somebody else?
And by the way, he's referencing it's a reference to Blue Sky, leaving for bluer skies.
He put that on Twitter.
Blue Sky is sort of left wing.
Twitter.
It's kind of a self imposed mental institution.
Here's November 12, 2024.
The only thing humorous about America not having learned from Germany about what happens to Nazis, what happens when Nazis get elected, is that Russia may not have learned from the USSR about what happens when makes agreements with the Nazis.
So the language is a little screwy, but again, here he is basically saying America is Nazis under Trump.
And November 4th, 2024, based on Iowa, predicting that Kamala wins all swing states and at least three red states.
Now, the reason I'm showing you that one, that one is just purely a political prediction that he got wrong, but it kind of shows you perhaps a little bit of the.
Ecosystem that he was in, thinking that Kamala would win all of the swing states and everything else when obviously she won none of the swing states.
So he was really in sort of this blue sky leftist bubble that would lead to a lot of the thoughts around Donald Trump.
This is also quite good.
A little bit more from the Nora O'Donnell interview.
Here is Nora telling Trump that Cole attended one of the No Kings protests.
Like, Thank you, Trump, for like the jokes on a day like this, right?
If I was a king, I wouldn't be dealing with you, and that is the truth.
He wouldn't be.
He wouldn't be putting up with this.
I also like the fact that he said to her, Why don't you read some of his tweets about me, which apparently she didn't have on fire or anything.
But you can see how someone that is in this kind of leftist bubble ecosystem, being radicalized by mainstream media, thinking all of these horrible things about Donald Trump, and by the way, the rest of us, what did Donald Trump say years ago?
They're coming for you, I'm just standing in the way.
I think that notion is becoming.
Way more obvious these days.
But you could see how somebody that seemingly young guy looks pretty normal, good education, seemingly will have a good career and everything else, and then gets sucked in to this evil, toxic space and then is ready to do the unthinkable and at the same time have a freaking list on who he will kill that he doesn't even consider guilty in order to serve his goals.
So now I want to connect this to something we covered last week.
As a matter of fact, the video I'm about to show you.
And this is obviously before this assassination attempt.
We showed three times.
I showed it once on the show, I think around Tuesday.
We covered it again on the panel show on Friday.
And then we also covered it on my other show, Actual Friends with Dr. Drew and Sage Steele and Jillian Michaels, because I thought it was so important to show.
Now, subsequently, the assassination attempt happens.
But this is this guy, Hassan Piker.
I was a former colleague of him.
I cannot believe I have been associated with so many awful people over the years.
He is Chunk Yugurts from the Young Turks, he is his nephew.
He is an absolutely horrible person and a LARPing communist, but he is probably the most influential online lefty.
You can think of all, there's all the people on the right that are online that are influential, and it's pretty obvious who they are, and most of them are pretty decent at their job, one way or another.
There's not that many on the left, and the reason there's not that many on the left is because the left has all of the mainstream media, so there's less need for it.
The entire right wing ecosystem, let's say, that I'm a part of, the only reason we became relevant is because we were the counter to the lunacy of the left.
The left now has some online people, but this guy's huge.
He's particularly influential with young men and video game people, and he is on Twitch.
We have talked about how he has said that 9 11, America deserved 9 11, how he went to China two months ago and talked about how he's not proud of being American.
We did a couple weeks ago, he went to Cuba for basically like, you know, what would you call it, economic tourism.
It was just disgusting what he did there in the only hotel with lights on.
He has called for the assassination of Rick Scott.
I mean, it just goes on and on with this guy, but you know what video I'm showing you.
Hassan Piker, again, he is the biggest online leader of the left who is campaigning with multiple candidates and political people on the left right now, talking about how murder, how murdering your ideological opponents can be understood.
And Brian Thompson, as the United Healthcare CEO, was engaging in a tremendous amount of social murder, the systematized forms of violence, the structural violence of poverty.
I saw so many people immediately understand why this death had taken place.
Even before they knew who the shooter was or what the motive was, we had universalized this pain.
Okay, what he just expressed right there is one of the most dangerous ideas that can enter into an otherwise roughly healthy system.
We can all disagree about stuff all day long.
We can make fun of people.
We can mock people.
We can point out their bad ideas.
We can argue with people.
We can do all of that stuff.
Once you start explaining away murder, because you're right, in essence, what he's saying is, I understand why this guy did it.
I'm on his side and he got pushed.
Brian Thompson, whether you like Brian Thompson or not, whether you like UnitedHealthcare or not, whether you like our healthcare system overall or not, he was just a man who was leading that company.
For the purposes of this, I'll be completely ambivalent as to whether he was a good CEO or a bad CEO or anything else, or whether he cared about stockholder shares more than he cared about the patients.
That is actually irrelevant.
Once in a society, You say, well, you've got your grievance.
You've got your grievance.
You can, I kind of get it, and you can just go out there and assassinate somebody in Times Square.
Well, again, did it do anything?
Did Luigi Mangione killing him in cold blood do anything positive for healthcare?
But also, once you do that, the crosshairs are on everybody.
Because if you're saying, I'm so morally right, and my people are so morally right, we could kill these guys, well, then everyone on the other side of you could say, boy, those people are willing to kill people.
We better kill them first.
So, what you are doing, what this guy is doing, is opening a Pandora's box that we will never be able to close.
And I suspect that box is open already, and I suspect we cannot close it now because the amount of young people who've been infected by this, what did the woman say there?
What did the girl say?
40%, what was it, 40% of young people, did she say?
40% of young people think that the murder of Brian Thompson, a United Healthcare CEO, was justified.
Killing a man in cold blood who's a husband and a father and everything else.
Doesn't matter if he's.
Bad businessman, you don't like what he's doing.
Okay, so we will have vigilante justice in this country.
We will revert ourselves back to barbarians.
You want to do that?
It's going to be bad for everybody.
But there he is, calmly communist with his $1,500 sunglasses or eyewear.
And, you know, they soften him up for these interviews and they try to moderate him.
And this is what the left does.
What have I said literally countless times on the show this last year?
Jordan Peterson, years ago, went to D.C.
He kept doing it.
When we were on tour, he would go back to D.C.
And I kept saying it's not going to work.
And he ultimately, if you watch me on his podcast from about a year ago, he admitted that I was right.
I kept saying there's nothing you can do to stop what's happening to the Democrats.
What you need to do is work with good Republicans.
He kept asking all of these people, congressmen, senators, when does the left go too far?
And he could never get anyone to say when they did, right?
So it wasn't, oh, we're chopping off kids' genitals, that's not too far, or we're instituting racism into our institutions and blah, blah.
He could never get anyone to say anything.
So what's happening right now is that this radical communist who is just a bad human being who is trying to upend everything that is good about this country.
What will happen now is nobody on the left will stand up to him.
They can't.
They're afraid of him because they've unjustly attacked so many other people that they don't want him unleashing the gates of hell on them.
Because think about it.
Think about it.
By the logic of what he just said right there, if AOC got up there today and was like, you know what, I actually am not going to associate with this guy anymore.
America didn't deserve 9 11, and I don't think that murdering healthcare CEOs can ever be justified or anything, he will turn on her and say, well, now you're one of them, and then why wouldn't one of his acolytes kill her?
So, do you see what is going on here?
This is the danger.
And the real danger, of course, is that because they will never say enough is enough, well, then you get this.
Oh, so you would kill Rick Scott, Senator from Florida, if you were upset about health care or whatever else.
Now you might say, all right, he's being facetious or whatever.
It's free speech.
I mean, free speech is not about the direct threat of violence.
But again, you also have to remember, he's talking, he's doing most of this stuff on Twitch where he's making people think he's worth about $12 million, another great communist, $12 million.
But he's talking to 15 year olds and radicalizing 15 year olds whose other institutions, their education institutions and everything else, have failed them.
So they're turning to someone like him.
But the real problem when they don't know how to stop from going too far is this you get this guy campaigning with these people.
Look, there he is with Roh Khanna.
There he is with Bernie Sanders and AOC.
There he is with Ilhan Omar.
There he is with Mom Dami.
So you tell me, Democrats, how do you differ from him in any way?
And I don't even mean in a weird way, I don't even want to make this about him, right?
He now just represents something that's in the system that they are now going to lose control over.
They have never been willing every time for the last 10 years, it's over 10 years, that since Donald Trump came down that escalator, every time that things haven't gone their way, you might have thought that the Democrats, before they went all completely insane, would have said, boy, you know, Donald Trump ended up president.
I don't know how that happened.
You know, Ted Cruz was running against him.
We could have dealt with that.
Or Marco Rubio or Jeb!
We could have done some of those guys.
But Donald freaking Trump ended up as president.
We might want to take stock of what we've been doing.
We might want to see maybe calling everybody racist isn't a great idea.
Maybe calling everyone a Nazi isn't a great idea.
But every time they subsequently get worse, and that's why they cannot disassociate themselves from this.
There is untapped revolutionary potential if someone could just, I mean, it was kill him, it was kill Donald Trump.
You all knew it, everyone in that audience knew it.
He got the reaction he wanted.
And the thing is, Hassan, why don't you do it?
Why don't you do it?
Oh, you don't want to give up the 12 million bucks and the four million dollar Beverly Hills or wherever it is in LA home, you don't want to do that.
So, you don't want to do that.
You don't want to give up your first class seats everywhere.
You don't want to give up traveling with all these celebrities and everything else.
You just want some mind muddled kid or young man to go in there and do the dirty work and ruin their life.
But again, it's interesting because one of the phrases that I've said for a while, I got this from James Lindsay, is that the issue is never the issue.
The issue is always the revolution, right?
So, when he says it would be good for the revolution, what he's telling you, even though I've illustrated already, right?
Did Brian Thompson's murder make health care any better?
Well, in some sense, I guess if I was trying to really steal man it the best I could, maybe it would cause such an explosion in the system that all hell would break loose, and maybe that actually is what they want.
But should we be allowing this?
And this is the challenge for all of us.
What does a free society do when not only have you imported millions of people who want to destroy you, which is what we did during the Biden years, but we have homegrown people who want to destroy you?
What do we do about that?
I don't know.
Here he is justifying October 7th.
unidentified
Murderous militants went in to a music festival and murdered hundreds of teenagers in cold blood and often massacred and mutilated them in ways that we have on camera.
Pod Save America, a bunch of just another set of leftist losers.
And he has this guy, John Favreau, who used to work for Obama, basically saying, would you vote for Israel or Hamas more?
And he says, Hamas.
It's like, okay, you know, I watched that 47 minute video on the Israeli military base where they show you some of the things that have not been released to the public, and I've said it before, but.
Watching the guy get beheaded with a shovel, which is not easy to do, and you watch the entire thing, and then walk away with his head while smiling, that wasn't the worst thing on the video.
Those are the people you're defending.
But again, putting aside foreign conflicts or anything else, once you open up the Pandora's box, I disagree with these people.
So blowing up buses is okay, murdering children is okay, assassinating presidents is okay, murdering somebody in the middle of Times Square is okay, then everybody will have the right to do that.
Because, Hassan, for as horrible as you think all of us are, we think you're that bad too.
But I'm not calling for violence, nor would I excuse it in any way while you are.
And that is now the great challenge for all of us.
How do we deal with this set of people?
We are not for extrajudicial killings and maimings and murdering.
And it would be extremely easy for all of us to condemn any attack on a freaking music festival that killed children for some political purposes.
But you guys are kind of for it.
So, we better get on this now.
We better get on this now.
And there definitely is some weird connection with all of this and everything that subsequently has happened after October 7th, because it was the test for the West.
Could crazy savages, for whatever reason they want, murder as many people as possible and rape and do untold things?
I'm telling you, the beheading was not the worst thing that I saw.
How would the West react?
And much of the West was like, ah, they've got their reasons.
We'll side with them.
Well, wait till it starts happening on our shores.
Stephen Miller talks about the border a lot and talks about America being for Americans a lot.
Stephen Miller also happens to be Jewish.
Now, you're basically calling him a Nazi right there.
I have no doubt, like pretty much every single Jew in America, he has somewhere down the line, two generations ago probably for him, family members that died in the Holocaust.
So, what you do is you take the actual victims of genocide and then you take their descendants and you accuse them of being the bad guys.
There is a level of evil here.
That has so infected the left across the board that they then think they're the good guys while doing it.
Another group that thinks they're the good guys while doing it is the Lincoln Project.
This is a group of people who were all Republicans.
They were just sort of the generic, mealy mouthed Republicans who never got anything done.
And then Donald Trump came along and they really didn't like mean tweets.
So they basically all became Democrats.
And the co founder of this, oh, and one of the founders of it, I think, was Trade in Child Porn or something.
Who was that guy again?
Doesn't even matter.
But here's co founder Steve Schmidt.
saying that Trump is to blame for his own assassination attempts.
unidentified
Don't we have a, don't, you know, is there a rhetoric problem?
I mean, it's the third time you're trying to kill the president.
I think that there's one person beyond and above all others who's responsible for poisoning the rhetoric in America.
That guy's name is Donald Trump.
You're saying it's the president's fault that people keep trying to kill him?
And again, if any of you have been political students for the 10 plus years that Trump has been doing this game, first time around I did not support him.
And at the beginning of it with the tweets and the fighting with people and everything, I didn't get what he was doing.
I did not get it.
And now I get it.
He had to fight in the craziest ways to break through the nonsense.
And then you have these other guys.
We're good Republicans.
We just say the right things.
We don't accomplish anything and we won't protect our borders and we won't have an America that leads.
We won't put up Candidates that win, we won't fight properly, but we'll sure say nice things about Democrats because we're better people.
But the Lincoln Project I think we have a couple tweets here from the Lincoln Project.
Here's one, for example.
Maybe it's because unlike Trump, President Biden is not a serial sexual abuser, rapist, and misogynist.
Women are fed up by Trump's degrading and disgusting favors.
So it's important to note that, and that was in January of 24, it's important to note that it's not just that they call Trump a Nazi.
So Nazi implies he hates.
Jews, which is completely absurd, and his grandchildren are Jewish, Ivanka and Jared's children.
But he hates black people, of course, is what they really want you to think because they never want black people to break because if black people even broke, if it was 50 50 Democrats or Republicans, Republicans win the rest of their elections basically forever.
But also that he hates women.
And we know that women psychologically are different than men, and women generally have a more intense version of Trump derangement syndrome.
They have trouble getting over the The literal parts of his statements when he is trying to use the language that he uses for a different purpose.
So, for example, a civilization will die tonight.
And did he mean he was going to kill everyone in Iran, or did he mean it as something literal, or did he mean it as something figurative for a negotiating purpose?
You get that.
Here now, you know, I mentioned before the philosophic argument we could have about whether you release manifestos or not.
Here's Trump kind of going after Noor O'Donnell a bit in that interview about some of the manifesto stuff.
And I do like his righteous indignation right there.
Like, he is not those things.
But try to imagine would any other president be put in this situation?
First off, the fact that right after this happens, he's doing interviews shows you the.
The magic of Trump, right?
Shows you all the goodness of Trump.
That he just gets out there, he's not, again, he's not sitting there with notes or anything else, and he's talking to mainstream media, which has not been fair to him to say it lightly, right?
That's one part of it.
But then there's the other part.
She has the gall.
Well, he said, you're a pedophile and a rapist and a bad dude and a mean guy, and you pushed a kid off a bridge, and you have the gall to do that right after.
He's just some, and this is why I think there's the, Argument that we're going to have to have more and more going forward.
What do you do with these manifestos?
So, the guy got, in essence, the guy got what he wanted.
Sure, he didn't kill Trump.
He didn't kill Trump.
So, he didn't get, if he's doing this on a video game, he didn't get like, what do they, how do they grade you on a video?
He didn't get 100% here.
I don't know.
That's a test.
Okay, fine.
He didn't get 100 out of 100 here.
But he probably is looking today going, you know, I got about an 85 because they're reading my manifesto about the president being a rapist and a pedophile right to his face within hours of me attempting this.
So, we are going to have to have some discussion about the manifesto thing.
But where would they come up with this idea that Donald Trump is a rapist and a racist and a pedophile?
Could there be some overall system in place that keeps pushing these ideas?
I can't watch the Avengers movies and they're all pretty good.
I can barely watch them because of him.
He's not a good actor.
He's annoying as hell.
He's a leftist and a communist and a maniac.
First off, Donald Trump has never been convicted of rape.
He was found liable for defamation against E. Jean Carroll, who we've shown you videos of, who is a nutbag and who is clearly a political operative, but he was never found guilty of rape.
He was also found guilty of hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.
So, is it likely true that Donald Trump banged Stormy Daniels at some point?
Yeah.
But I'm sorry, is Joe Biden, who did some weird stuff in the shower with his niece or whatever, and who wasn't even president, and not in the mood to keep Phoenix World for me, would you?
You get the point, guys.
The hypocrisy of these people.
Is ridiculous.
And they are the ones who have been, if it's not Jimmy Kimmel or it's not this Assange lunatic, well, how about a guy who could be vice president right now joking about Donald Trump's death?
Oh, we thought we were going to wake up and Donald Trump was going to be dead, but he will be dead at some point.
Please, guys, I really mean this.
Comments.
I will have Joseph in there all day today.
You can clear out your schedule, my friend.
Show me where Republicans are constantly joking andor calling for the death of their opponents.
Where were people joking about the death of Biden?
I probably made jokes that he's so old and incapacitated at this point that he might die, and that's a problem.
That's a problem as the President of the United States, but I wasn't joking for someone to kill him or that I'd be excited that the President of the United States would be dead.
Show me.
People saying that about Kamala or Tim Walz or any of these people.
There's a difference between criticizing these people and basically being like, yeah, and they'll just die eventually or we'll get them or you never know, you never know.
Or what did Hassan do in the earlier thing?
See, you guys left.
You're all kind of, you all kind of want the same thing.
So the question is, what does this all do to the narrative right now?
And one of the problems with the narrative is the left and the media are in bed together, right?
So it's not just, everyone thinks it's just the right versus the left, it's the conservatives versus the liberals, but it's actually, It's the same people versus the left and the press.
If this was a 50 50 situation, if it was just here are, let's say, Republican ideas, conservative ish ideas, MAGA ideas, and here are Democrat ideas, and then we had a media in the middle that was just looking at them and kind of analyzing them properly.
Well, first off, I'd be doing something else for a living, right?
I'd be in the NBA.
That's what I would be doing.
What would you be doing, Connor?
You weren't doing this.
You would be a Major League Baseball player.
Phoenix, what would you be doing if you weren't doing this?
That was President Trump calling on Americans to resolve their differences following the shooting that took place at tonight's White House Correspondents' Dinner.
The question always, will the president lead in that effort?
You cut out, or you didn't repeat where he said peacefully, and then, of course, they put the onus on him.
A man who was almost assassinated for the third time in a couple years.
The onus is on him to turn down the rhetoric.
It's not on the Democrats or the comedians or the online influencers or all the people who are ginning everything up so that this keeps happening.
The onus is on the president.
Could you just, all right, sure, every few, well, once or twice a year they're going to try to shoot you.
Could you just calm down?
Absolutely absurd.
Speaking of absurd, here is Barack Obama.
Although we don't yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House car.
It's incumbent upon us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy.
It's also a sobering reminder of the courage and sacrifice that the U.S. Secret Service agents show every day.
I'm grateful to them and thankful for the agent who was shot, is going to be okay.
All right, so the latter part of that obviously is fine.
It's interesting that he opens it by saying, We don't know the motives.
Now, we basically knew the motives from beat one, but he wants there to be in the ether, he wants there to be a little bit of confusion about that.
And what I would say, you're right, Barack, you're right, that we can't.
Start dancing with this type of violence, but it's your side that's doing it.
And as the, it's hard to say whether you're the leader of the party or not anymore.
Who knows what the hell's going on there.
But as, let's say, the leader of the party, maybe you want to call Bernie and Ro Khanna and AOC and everybody else and say, oh, you might want to separate from the guy who just said he's for Hamas and that America deserved 9 11 and that violence actually is okay and that I understand why you might kill a healthcare CEO.
And if, and now I'm going to read one that this one, I honestly thought this was, when I saw it, Last night, I thought this was AI because it's so tone deaf.
It's extraordinary, even for him.
So, this is Timu Obama, Hakeem Jeffries.
Listen to this.
America will not be lectured about civility by far right extremists in Congress, particularly those who provide aid and comfort to hundreds of violent rioters who brutally beat police officers on January 6th.
There will be ample time to vigorously debate the issues of the day.
Now is a time to unify.
Connor, leave that up for a minute.
This is the most insane tweet, maybe ever.
This one should be in the Smithsonian.
Forget the middle part.
Of course, he makes it about January 6th, and we're going to still do that.
But if you just read the first sentence and the last sentence, America will not be lectured about civility by far right extremists in Congress.
Now is a time to unify.
Help me, Timu Obama.
Help me put that together.
There are far right extremists over there, right?
And you want to unify with them?
Or was that all just lip service?
The unified thing is really just lip service.
You mean as long as they bow to you, then we can kind of keep this going?
Is that really what you meant?
I think so.
It's just an incredible cell phone.
That's what he did right there.
Here's Trump on the general gaslighting that the Democrats will do over the next two or three months, and I guarantee you this prediction will be correct.
I hesitate to ask you about this, but as you know, these conspiracy theories out there on the left and the right that the event was staged or that it didn't happen.
You know, I'm always talking about the airlock guys, that there's truth and then eventually, and usually from a mainstream perspective, it has something to do with Bill Maher's show.
When something hits Bill Maher, then it's like allowed to get into the mainstream.
I don't know how that works exactly.
But he's right.
Right now, even I, even freaking Alex Jones, who's been absolutely horrendous over the last couple months when it comes to Trump, even he, and maybe it's because of all his legal trouble, was like, I don't think this was a false flag or anything.
But I guarantee you, Trump's right.
Two to three months, we'll see.
And they'll be saying this was staged and they're crisis actors and all the rest of it.
This is what they do with everything.
You can literally see video of.
Things and they will tell you it's not real, and then they'll fall for AI hoaxes.
And by the way, I mean, that's a whole other topic, and we should do more on this with experts.
But what is going to happen over the next couple of years as we can AI all of this, and there will be fake video and fake audio that will be crystal clear and indiscernible from actual reality?
Then wait till the untold.
I mean, I talk about a Pandora's box opening, that's Pandora's box opening, and with like 20 other Pandora's boxes in it.
But let's continue.
What do the Democrats do?
Well, What's the line?
You never let a crisis go to waste.
And of course, that's what they're doing.
So they want to make this about gun control.
Here is Democrat Jamie Raskin, who undoubtedly has called Trump Hitler and Nazi and everything else for years and years, on with Margaret Brennan.
And let's not forget as well that, as you mentioned, Scott, and we talked about some of the people at the beginning of the center who were present in the room.
Erica Kirk.
The widow of Charlie Kirk.
You have people who are civilians who may or may not have had their own experiences with gun violence in this country.
And as we know, gun violence.
Cease police also there, a victim of gun violence as well.
Can we get the numbers out of Chicago this weekend?
They're bad.
If you think that restricting people's right to defend themselves is how you're going to stop that, you are crazy.
Why don't we have a lot of shootings in Florida?
Well, one of the reasons is we're a population that is armed.
And when people think, oh, if I break into this guy's house, I'm going to get shot, you are less inclined to do it.
When you have sheriffs who are like, you know what?
Well, if you break into somebody's house or you try to rape somebody or something, they might kill you and we'd be happier about it because it would make our job easier.
It causes people to self police.
In Chicago this weekend, only 11 shot.
That's a pretty good weekend for Chicago.
Although Jamie Raskin won't talk about that, and on CNN they're not going to cover it or anything else because it's undoubtedly all black people who killed black people, and they're not interested in solving that problem.
Here's Acting Attorney General Todd Blanch talking about how this isn't about gun control, it's about an awful human being.
Imagine if your reaction is someone almost shot the president of the United States.
Let's take away law abiding citizens' guns.
Let's just make sure that the government is the only one that has guns.
It is so thin, it's like boring to analyze, actually.
And you'd be giving a win.
What you would actually be doing is incentivizing people to murder people, at least in the short term.
You'd be saying to people, boy, you know, they almost killed the president and they took away guns.
I'd like more guns to be taken away.
I'm going to kill a couple other, or attempt to kill a couple other politicians or high profile people.
Like that's how stupid the logic is.
Thus, it's the standard logic of CNN and MSNBC and the Democrat Party.
I want to end with two clips of Scott Jennings because, as always, voice of reason when it comes to mainstream media.
Here he is pointing out the obvious that perhaps over the last, I don't know, 70 plus days, we shouldn't have been defunding DHS, Department of Homeland Security.
But I hate to tell you, Scott, the Democrats will not care.
There is literally no chance that any Democrat right now is wandering around the halls of Congress going, you know, we have shut this government down because we wanted ICE out, even though ICE is fully funded.
And boy, you know, these guys are doing a great job.
And one of them just got shot, and thank God he'll survive.
But we should turn around our policy on this.
No, because the left never knows when the left goes too far.
So, who is under attack right now?
Well, what did I say before?
It's what Donald Trump said 10 years ago.
They're not coming for me, or they're coming for me, but I'm just standing there.
Trump, obviously, subsequently, the interview, the press conference, everything he said off the cuff, acknowledging that this is just in the system and that he's doing the best he can.
That's all great.
But For all the rest of us, for all the rest of us that are just trying to live our lives, that like this country, that like capitalism, that believe that America is fundamentally good, that are excited about our 250th birthday, which is coming up in about two and a half months, and all of the goodness of America, we better acknowledge that there are not only infiltrators who are illegally here,
but now we have basically a political party and a group of activists who are now put on steroids algorithmically and everything else that are here to tear it all down.
And until they are willing, until someone in the Democratic Party, and I know it's Bill Maher and John Fetterman, but until someone besides them, maybe someone who's an actually elected official, is willing to separate themselves from the wacky people, from the revolutionaries who are only here to burn the whole thing, then everything will just get worse and worse.
That is not how I wanted to end this Monday's show.
Wow, before I could even finish the sentence, you want to be an ice cream taste tester.
For cotton candy flavored ice cream.
All right, if there is anyone out there watching the program today who is in the ice cream business or the cotton candy business, I think we got something here.
We're going to do a little side quest for Joseph, and we are going to.
You can't leave.
You're an indentured servant here, and you can never leave.
And I am thinking about paying you one day, but we will see if we can get him a side quest as a cotton candy ice cream tester.
Thank you for watching Post Game Show in 30 Seconds, ReubenReport.locals.com.
