Okay, there's that.
Uh, let's dive right in.
There, there's a lot of good stuff happening.
And I, and it seems to me, I keep saying some version of this, but over the last few months it's become more stark.
The divide between what most of us are seeing on this thing, this little device in our pocket and social media, the divide between that and what is happening in the real world seems to be getting increasingly, uh, bigger and bigger and bigger.
And a lot of that falls on the fact that there are so many propagandists out there rather than truth tellers.
There's so much AI slop out there.
There are so many bots out there.
It's very hard to tell what is true.
But there is a lot of good stuff happening with this Iran war, which right now we are about 35 days into.
This is not a forever war.
This isn't an endless war or anything else.
As I keep saying, have a little faith in Donald Trump and a little imagination that America can still do good things.
And I think this thing will wrap up nice.
There is some breaking news that happened about two minutes before we started the show.
But let me dive in for a moment, and then we'll get you caught up on that.
You probably saw this.
Yesterday on Easter Day from Donald Trump on Truth.
I am going to curse here because I want to get it as clean and clear as possible, and this is coming right from the president.
Tuesday will be power plant day and bridge day, all wrapped up in one in Iran.
There will be nothing like it.
Open the fucking straight, you crazy bastards, or you'll be living in hell.
Just watch.
Praise be to Allah, President Donald J. Trump.
Then he, before I get into analyzing that, he then tweeted or Truth Social posted this Tuesday, 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
So that is, you know, what is that?
That's like 32 hours from now, something like that.
So, okay, so a lot of people, I was trying to stay off the Twitter machine on Easter and over the weekend, but I did jump on once or twice just to see what was going on.
And a lot of people were obviously freaking out over the choice language in that he drops an F bomb, he mentions Allah, it's quite, there's all the apostrophes and everything else.
So people were going, what is going on?
Is this Like a bit much.
Now, my position on all of the tweets is really the same thing that it's been for the last eight years.
Trump's been around doing politics for 10 years, and for the first two years, I don't think I quite got the everyone, oh, stop with the mean tweets, and I was probably one of those people.
And then at some point, I realized it's a game with him.
He leads with certain things, then he pulls back.
His greatest skill, perhaps more than anything else, is his ability to get people to go apoplectic about things that they probably shouldn't be freaking out about.
He uses language in a fairly liberal way, let's say.
But I thought this tweet, this is just from an ex commentator, Jake Hilton, I thought he nailed what the sort of genesis or the sort of important point of the tweet was.
He wrote back, he wrote exactly, and when President Trump says, Praise be to Allah, he's doing something very similar to what the prophet Elijah did on Mount Carmel with the prophets of Baal.
He's basically saying, Call on your God all you want.
He will not be there to save you from the fire and brimstone I'm about to rain down on you.
So, look, we can have an endless debate about whether the president should use the F bomb.
That's fine if we want to still do that.
I'm sort of past that point.
I'm not defending it or anything else, but we're past that point.
The point that Trump really was trying to make, Connor, can you put up the Truth Social Post again?
I don't have to read the whole thing again.
But the point that he was making with this, with the exclamation points, the F bomb, you crazy bastards, you'll be living in hell, all caps, praise be to Allah.
The real point is a negotiation point, which is you don't know what the hell I'm going to do, but you do know I'm a man of my word.
And if you guys do not negotiate now, if you do not come to some agreement now, I am going to do some crazy ass things.
And there is something interesting about using the Prophet Allah part of it, right?
Because saying, okay, pray to whoever you want.
We're in charge here.
And that actually is the truth, right?
Like that is the truth of what's going on here.
They can pray to whoever they want.
If their leaders make the wrong decisions right now, nothing is going to stop Donald Trump.
Here is a bit more from Rachel Scott, who's an ABC News correspondent.
She wrote, Spoke with President Trump.
He told me the conflict should be over in days, not weeks, but if no deal is made, he's blowing up the whole country with very little off the table.
If happens, it happens.
And if it doesn't, we're blowing up the whole country, he said.
I asked if there's anything off limits.
Very little, he said.
Now, again, Some of that may be negotiating posture, right?
It's Trump saying crazy things, and because you don't know what he might do, that is how he gets people to the negotiating table.
There was even, we didn't grab it, but I saw over the weekend someone grabbed from Art of the Deal, you know, his famous book about all this, that sometimes you want in negotiations to act a little crazy, right?
That's part of it.
You know, you're playing cards with someone.
If they know exactly what you're going to do every time, if you have a tell every time, if they think you're going to bluff every time or not going to bluff, then they can play you.
He is trying to play them and does it rather effectively.
Now, interestingly, we saw this quite literally, I don't know, a minute before we started the show from open source intel.
Iran rejects temporary ceasefire proposal.
Iranian news agency Erna reports that Tehran has rejected a proposal for a temporary ceasefire, demanding a complete end to fighting, removal of sanctions, and guarantees for safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
So, by every account at the moment, if Trump is going to keep his word, It sounds like tomorrow night at 8 p.m., all hell is going to break loose.
Now, the question is if you're going to hit power plants and you're going to hit civilian infrastructure and things of that nature, how do you make sure it's not going to harm the people but just the regime?
He clearly, if we're understanding all of this correctly, we went through the top tier of people, Ayatollah and the mullahs, all gone.
Then there was the next Ayatollah and the next round of guys, all gone.
And we were talking to third or fourth level people here.
They seem to not be playing ball the way Donald Trump wants.
And now we will see what happens.
Of course, the broader point on the political side of this is that no matter, really know this point when you're in arguments or debates with your friends about what's going on here, no matter what Donald Trump does, the Democrats hate him.
The Democrats will try to stop him.
And at this point, I would say most Democrats, and I don't mean this to be hyperbolic or over the top, I would say most Democrats at this point actually want us to lose the war.
They want us to lose the war because that would be a loss for Donald Trump.
And they, their whole worldview is in contrast to what Donald Trump wants, right?
So Chris Van Hollen, this is that brilliant senator out of Maryland who had the, uh, margarita with the Brago Garcia, the guy who beat his wife with the boot and was a human trafficker and NMS 13 and the rest of it.
Uh, here he is.
He doesn't like Donald Trump very much.
He wrote this on Twitter.
Trump is clearly unfit to be president, but do not that, let that explain away the evil of his threatening war crimes against the Iranian people on Easter Sunday, no less.
We cannot let Trump Normalize this.
Now, interestingly, I did take a glance.
Van Hollen has no tweets about the war crimes on the Israeli people, who every single rocket that Iran shoots is shot at civilian infrastructure, and they're shooting cluster munitions designed to blow up as many things as possible and do as much damage as possible.
And quite literally, he had a rocket that fell, I think it was what, a thousand meters from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the holiest site in Christianity, not to mention the Western Walls right there, holiest site in Judaism, et cetera, et cetera.
Oh, and I suppose at least he would care about the Dome of the Rock.
All of that aside, it's interesting.
He thinks that Donald Trump is unfit.
That's quite a serious charge by a serious man out of Maryland.

I think it's far more worthy of impeachment if you have a president who isn't actually president and an auto pen is signing all of his documents or a president who, I don't know, opened up the floodgates to 20 million illegals to come into the country.
Those would be far more, uh, far more impeachable.

But one of the problems the Democrats have, as I said for years, is they never know when they've gone too far and they have nobody to regulate them.
So I thought this was rather interesting because further in this interview, Roe Kano was asked if he would apologize for going on Hassan Piker's show.
We've mentioned this guy a couple times.
He worked at the Young Turks when I was there.
He is an absolutely awful human who, I kid you not, when I was there was harassing all of the women and literally their response to that was have him work from home.
I used to play basketball with them on Sundays where he would bring his pit bull, he would tie against a tree.
And the dog would go crazy.
There's videos of him on playing his video games or whatever the hell he does on Twitch and electrocuting the dog with a shock collar.
Uh, he has said that nine, America deserved 9-11.
He has called for, well, you know what?

The reason I bring all of that up, though, is that you can start to see what the next move is with the Democrats because when the war ends and it ends with an Iranian defeat and it ends with new peace deals in the Middle East and countries realizing they're not going to blow Israel off the map and that Israel isn't their enemy and that if you stick with America, good things are going to happen.
And why is it that Iran's been shooting rockets at a dozen?
Countries, etc., etc.
At the end of all of this, there's going to be something good, and the Democrats really don't want Trump getting a win before the midterms, literally and figuratively.
Okay, so allow me to show you this from the New York Times in 2017.
2017, the 25th Amendment solution for removing Trump.
That's what they were doing in 2017.
Where are we now?
We're in 2026.
Nine years later, they are doing the exact same thing.
They are telling you.
25th Amendment andor impeach him.
If we can't get to the impeachment part, let's 25th Amendment him.
There was a president that should have been 25th Amendmented, and by the way, the lady who replaced him, Kamala Harris, definitely threatened him with that, which is why he didn't run again, and he basically admitted that on The View.

But the point of all of this is that there's endless hypocrisy here.
This is all the Democrats have.
They have fear and hypocrisy.

Point out something different.
Again, this is a good one for when you get into debates with your friends.
So if you're sitting with a friend and they're saying, but Donald Trump didn't go to Congress to get authorization for the war, and you can point out Libya, and you can point out how Obama didn't do it, and you can point out how Clinton didn't do it, and George W. Bush actually did get approval for Iraq, but you can point out the presidents don't do it and whatever.
Here's a better point that you can point out Imagine if Donald Trump had to go to Congress for this war.
Imagine if there had to be a week's worth of discussions around this.
A element of surprise gone.
But B, there's a bigger issue, and we all know this, and the mainstream is really afraid to talk about it.
We have enemies of the state that are in Congress.
Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, you could probably argue AOC, Bernie on the Senate side.
And it's not because I disagree with them, but they are in cahoots and in more common cause with enemy actors than they are with the United States of America.
Do you think there is any chance in high hell that those members of Congress and probably many others on the Democrat side would not leak war plans to the media, would not leak Quite literally, to our enemies, to the NGOs and nonprofits that are funding all of the mayhem on the streets and everything else.
There is, and then meanwhile, think about the scale of this war.
Like, we have pulled off something so absolutely incredible that it will be studied for decades to come in terms of modern warfare, but all of it was based on the element of surprise.
So, you're basically saying take a bunch of people who have dedicated their lives to destroying the President of the United States, and the President of the United States should have to give them his war plans before we launch the war.
It's completely crazy.
Now, you may want And in some weird alternate universe, I would want the president to have to get congressional authority, right?
That's checks and balances and everything else.
But sadly, it's not the world we live in.
We have a branch of government, a party in a branch of government, whose only modus operandi is to take down the president.
This is a problem.
Another problem is that we have a media that just is, at this point, I would say, largely running cover for an Islamist regime, several Islamist regimes, actually.
So, in that, we've already dropped a couple F bombs on the show.

These are all facts.

There's just no doubt about it.
Now, not to say it doesn't have any headaches.
There are some headaches, for sure.
It's a freaking war.
But she thinks, and part of the Democrats think, if you can just win the narrative war, you don't have to win the real war.
Let's win the narrative war.
So they're putting out a lot of memes.
And it is true.
The Iranian regime and its proxies, and then some of its influencers that are Americans, are pushing out Iranian propaganda.
How many American generals have lost their job during all of this?

During this war, in the last, yeah, we're going to look.
I don't know how many American generals.
I like, they're just making up nonsense.
But even if they were winning, which would you rather win?

Iran shot down the F-15E Strike Eagle, a U.S. official said, and the American military was scrambling to find the second aviator after a regional governor offered a bounty for his crew.
A U.S. aircraft that was mobilized to support the search and rescue mission was also struck by Iranian fire after the F-15E jet was downed, a U.S. official told NBC News.
That aircraft, a single-pilot A-10 Thunderbolt, Known as a warthog, it made it to Kuwaiti airspace where the pilot ejected and the aircraft crashed, the official said.
The pilot is safe and the A 10 is down in Kuwait, according to the official.
Iran's media published photos alongside claims from the IRGC that it had shot down the F 15E.
The Pentagon and White House did not immediately comment on the claims.
Okay, so there were a few hours where we did not know where at least one of these pilots were.
And then Donald Trump posted this on Easter Sunday We got him.
My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the U.S. military pulled off one of the most daring.
Search and rescue operations in U.S. history for one of our incredible crew member officers who also happens to be a highly respected colonel who I'm thrilled to let you know is safe and sound.
This brave warrior was behind enemy lines in treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his commander in chief, secretary of war, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow warfighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day and diligently planning for his rescue.
At my direction, the U.S. military sent dozens of aircraft armed with the most lethal weapons in the world. to retrieve him.
He sustained injuries, but will be just fine.
This miraculous search and rescue operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave pilot yesterday, which we did not confirm because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation.
This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. pilots have been rescued separately deep in enemy territory.
We will never leave an American warfighter behind.
The fact we were able to pull off both of these operations without a single American killed or even wounded just proves once again that we have achieved overwhelming air dominance and superiority over the Iranian skies.
This is a moment that all Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else should be proud and united around.
We truly have the best, most professional, and most lethal military in the history of the world.

Also unusual, spending seven hours over Iran.
An amazing show of bravery and talent by all.

News can report that on Saturday morning, the CIA was able to locate and confirm this U.S. service member in a mountain ridge south of the city of Isfahan.

And within 12 hours, we can report there were U.S. special forces on the ground inside of Iran rescuing this U.S. service member.
Fox News has learned that after the fighter jet was shot down on Friday, the weapons systems officer hiked to an elevated mountain ridge where he hid and waited for retrieval.
The pilot of the jet was rescued by U.S. special forces on Friday, but President Trump said they waited to confirm as to not jeopardize this second operation.
The president added, quote, this is the first time in military memory that two U.S. pilots have been rescued separately deep in enemy territory.
The IDF said they avoided striking this area as American planes and helicopters flew at a low altitude.

All right, so as we covered last week, the big fight now heading to the Supreme Court is over birthright citizenship.
And the simplest kind of, if you need like a one sentence bumper sticker on this thing, is do you think if someone comes to America for any reason, whether it's they're on vacation and they give birth, or they're illegal and they give birth, or they're on a temporary visa and they give birth, or just any other version that you can come up with of someone who's not a citizen and gives birth in the United States, do you think that that child should automatically have citizenship?
The answer is.
I think it is fairly obvious that it should be no.
And now this is being fought over at the highest court in the land.
Here's a bit more from Fox over the last week of what's happened.
On Wednesday, April 1st, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in what may be the most important case in decades.
The court will now consider President Donald Trump's executive order rejecting birthright citizenship for the children of illegal aliens, and the decision will have vast political and economic consequences for every American.
But this all important case should be open and shut.
The Constitution's text and history are on the president's side.
Nothing in the Constitution requires the government to give citizenship to the children of illegal aliens.
The case centers on the 14th Amendment citizenship clause, which states that all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States.
The key phrase in the dispute is and subject to the jurisdiction thereof.
A plain reading of the grammar and shows that birthright citizenship requires two conditions, not just being born here.
So did you really understand that?
And we should get a lawyer on.
Uh, to do, we'll do a quick 20 minute interview.
We'll get a constitutional error.
But the and word is the key part of the whole thing.
So being born here, that's one of the two things.
But and subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, that's the key part.
And just because you're born here, you are not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States.
That is the key part.
So now, We'll have to slow it down.

It's just simply crazy.
But the point is, this lady is not particularly bright and she's not particularly good at her job.
And did we have any signals that she wouldn't be particularly good at her job?

How many people do you think, you person watching this right now, how many citizens, quote unquote citizens, were born in the United States over the last three years that now have citizenship, meaning they came in from temporary migrant mothers, illegals, etc.?

Add that in total.
It's 9% of the U.S. births in that given year.

It's unforeseen.
It's undeniable.

And then you wonder why young men might be angry and why young men might turn to bad ideas when the system tells them that they're less than or they're quite literally going to be discriminated against because of the color of their skin or their sexuality or whatever else, any other immutable characteristic.
That they quite literally cannot control, but the system says is bad and you were born bad and now we're going to punish you for it.
And if you want to create a generation of racists, well, you might then artificially inflate one group over another group.
All the system can do is what our founders intended equal laws.

And over time, let's see what happens.
But once you start doing this, you want to create racists.
Let's see what happens if you have a generation of kids who are 15 to 21 right now who are Asian, who have busted their asses and done the proper work and come from good families and strong homes and all of that stuff.
And instead of going to camp at summer, go to math, mathnasium, which always made me nauseous when I saw it in a strip mall.
I was always afraid my mom was going to see it and then send me there instead of camp.
But the point is, you want to create a generation of Asian racists?
You guys probably already did it.

So let's see where it all lands.
Wouldn't it be awesome if at 1 p.m. today he has the fighter pilot?
If they could have somehow, that would be tough.
I don't know, between injuries and everything else, if they could have quite literally gotten him across the globe and into the White House today.
But I wouldn't put it past Trump to have him there.

And there's one thing, Dave, you can't simulate, and that's the meaning of your life.
People under 30 in general.
You know, since about 2008, depression is up by about a factor of three.
Generalized anxiety has basically doubled.
Higher levels of loneliness, higher levels of addiction and self harm.
Life, when it's meaningless, feels like you're stuck in an airport lounge and the flight, you're not getting any information, but it's just really late.
You're just waiting and waiting and waiting for something to happen.
So most actually will just like shrink into themselves and scroll social media.
The big Problem, however, is that it's not real life.
And so the result is that the neurochemistry of the human brain only works, the sense of mystery and meaning in life only works when we are in real life with other real life humans.

The meaning of life is really the answer to three big questions.
Number one is the coherence question, the second question is purpose, and the last is significance, which is why does my life matter?
