| It is November 5th, 2025. | ||
| And I don't think I can really sugarcoat it for you today. | ||
| It is not a great day for the United States of America. | ||
| We're going to try to frame it in some positive ways by the time we get to the end of the show. | ||
| But there's just a lot of bad shit that is in the ether right now. | ||
| Yesterday's elections across the country, Virginia, New Jersey, and particularly New York were, and California, actually, were utter disasters. | ||
| If you love freedom, if you love this country, if you love liberty, if you love limited government, if you love this place, a whole bunch of terrible things happened, and we're going to unpack it and we're going to try to do something a little deeper, I think, than just respond to what happened. | ||
| We're going to try to do a little autopsy on why it happened. | ||
| And I think by the end, give you a little bit of hope on how we can fix some of this maybe before the midterms, because this is not good. | ||
| It ain't good, people. | ||
| But I promise you, you'll laugh a couple times throughout the show. | ||
| And we did make an awful lot of changes as we did the run-through. | ||
| So you may have to bear with us on a couple things here. | ||
| I thought we would start with this. | ||
| This is a video of my friend Charlie Kirk. | ||
| He was on Tucker Carlson's show when I was off the grid in August. | ||
| So actually, when I saw this this morning was the first time that I saw this. | ||
| And here he is talking about how the rise of Mamdani is a distress signal from Gen Z. Now, remember, again, this is about four months ago now in August, and Charlie is no longer with us, but he was prescient in his warning. | ||
| The rise of Mamdani should be a it's a coming attraction of what is coming next. | ||

| Zorhan Mamdani, the Muslim communist that is running for mayor in New York City, who obviously there's a whole rabbit hole we can go down there. | ||
| He just looks kind of be like central casting and his ideas are terrible. | ||
| He wants the city to run the grocery stores, all that. | ||
| But I think everyone's kind of, not everyone, but most people are missing the point of really what this is. | ||
| This is yet another distress signal by young people to say, hey, if you're not going to fix our life economically, we're going to get very radical politically. | ||
| Okay, so I think that is an interesting way to frame the show because Charlie, if nothing else, and there was plenty of goodness about Charlie, understood the minds of young people, right? | ||
| That's what his main focus was. | ||
| That's what he built with Turning Point. | ||
| That's why he was doing those debates on college campuses. | ||
| And there he is only four months ago saying, guys, if you don't address some of the problems here that young people see, particularly as it relates to the economy and they can't get in buying houses and they feel like, you know, they're working for less and they're just getting less in general, it's going to come out in some radical ways. | ||
| As a sidebar, it's a little bizarre to me that Tucker either pretended or didn't know who Momdami was back in August, but whatever it is. | ||
| Anyway, so now let's flash forward to what happened yesterday. | ||
| Mom Dami did win in New York City with 49.5% of the vote, about 677,000 votes. | ||
| Cuomo got 41.6 with about 570. | ||
| And Curtis Slewa, the Republican, got about 108,000, almost 8%. | ||
| And if you add up the 41.6 plus the 7.9, Cuomo might have won. | ||
| So it is extremely interesting. | ||
| And obviously, I had Rudy Giuliani on yesterday, who's America's mayor, who was the single best mayor of New York City without question. | ||
| He supported Sliwa. | ||
| And I asked him about what happens if Sliwa becomes the spoiler here. | ||
| And in some sense, look, you don't know that all of that, you know, 7.9% would have voted for Cuomo, but it could have been different. | ||
| However, here we are. | ||
| So the socialist, as Charlie said, Muslim communist will now be the mayor of New York City, the once great epicenter of capitalism, literally in the entire world. | ||
| And here he is quoting socialist Eugene Debs during his acceptance speech last night. | ||
| The sun may have set over our city this evening. | ||
| But as Eugene Debs once said, I can see the dawn of a better day for humanity. | ||
| All right, I can see the dawn of a better day for humanity. | ||
| That's pretty standard quote. | ||
| You might be going, well, who is Eugene Debs? | ||
| They all applauded Eugene Debs. | ||
| Eugene Victor Debs was an American socialist, political activist, trade unionist, one of the founding members of the Industrial Workers of the World, and five-time candidate of the Socialist Party for America, President of the United States. | ||
| So he's going all in on the socialist communist stuff. | ||
| We don't have to split hairs about it. | ||
| We don't have to pretend or anything else. | ||
| He went out of his way to open his acceptance speech with someone who ran for president five times as a socialist. | ||
| Then he said one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard a politician say. | ||
| We will prove that there is no problem too large for government to solve and no concern too small for it to care about. | ||
| Oh, no problem too big for government to solve. | ||
| Do we have a Ronald Reagan? | ||

| I think you all know that I've always felt the nine most terrifying words in the English language are, I'm from the government and I'm here to help. | ||
| So do you see where we are at right now? | ||
| Let's put aside the jihad stuff because it's there. | ||
| But let's just put it aside for a second. | ||
| Let's pretend none of that existed and he was just a socialist communist. | ||
| What he wants is the government to do everything. | ||
| There is no problem the government can't fix. | ||
| Nothing will be too big for the government. | ||
| The government will have every bit of control of every part of your life, the bus you get on, the food that you eat, et cetera, et cetera. | ||
| Ronald Reagan wisely, 40-ish years ago, was saying that the government is actually the impediment to freedom. | ||
| But Zorhan never talks about freedom, right? | ||
| talks about control, but he does it in this sort of Pollyannish, you know, what would you call it, rose glasses way, so that it sort of all sounds nice, but it actually is just, oh, we will get more money from some people to do what we want with it, and you will applaud until it all breaks down and you people are at each other's throats fighting over the last can of Goya beans. | ||

| Can we reanimate Ronald Reagan? | ||
| Like, where's Dr. Meinbender who created Serpentor so that we could reanimate Ronald Reagan? | ||
| That would help. | ||

| Instead of this just being about New Yorkers, New Yorkers came together. | ||
| Listen to the way they have whittled everybody down using identity politics. | ||
| Thank you to those so often forgotten by the politics of our city who made this movement their own. | ||
| I speak of Yemeni bodega owners and Mexican abuelas. | ||
| Senegalese taxi drivers and Uzbek nurses. | ||
| Trinidadian line cooks and Ethiopian aunties. | ||
| Yes, aunties. | ||
| So Donald Trump, since I know you're watching, I have four words for you. | ||
| Turn the volume up. | ||
| We will hold bad landlords to account because the Donald Trumps of our city have grown far too comfortable taking advantage of their tenants. | ||
| We will put an end to the culture of corruption that has allowed billionaires like Trump to evade taxation and exploit tax breaks. | ||
| All right, Trump hasn't avoided taxes. | ||
| It's like when they say the thing about Elon avoiding taxes, these people pay more taxes than anybody, right? | ||
| And if you have a problem with them not paying the taxes that you want them to pay, then you change the tax law, which of course he is going to increase taxes on everyone who earns and they are all going to flee. | ||
| We'll have more of that in just a minute. | ||
| But this thing with identity politics and the Algerian this and the Ethiopian that and the rest of it, it's like, sorry, Greeks who built New York City and Jews and Irish and Italian. | ||
| You guys are all white in essence. | ||
| Particularly you Jews are really out. | ||
| And you guys are done. | ||
| He is making that very, very, very clear. | ||
| But even putting all of that aside, who really built the city and everything else and the Puerto Ricans and everything else, even putting that part aside, you can see what he's trying to do to piece together this coalition as he smiles. | ||
| Oh, it's gross. | ||
| I'm going to need, we're going to have to replace the Ilhan Omar bucket with a Zorhan bucket, a Zorhan puke bucket. | ||
| Then of course, he just plays into just all of the backwards things that these people have pushed on us, which is, well, you'll see in just a second, he talks about New York being a city of immigrants. | ||
| And you're right, over the course of the last hundred plus years, since about 1900, actually, New York City, mostly through Ellis Island, was a city of legal immigrants, people who came here with nothing, with only the hope and the promise that maybe their life could be better and they could pursue their happiness and that capitalism would free them from whatever it is that they were fleeing. | ||
| But here he is talking about the city that was built by immigrants now being led by an immigrant. | ||
| The only problem is he hates the fucking country, but whatever. | ||
| New York will remain a city of immigrants, a city built by immigrants, powered by immigrants, And as of tonight, led by an immigrant. | ||
| So hear me, President Trump, when I say this. | ||
| To get to any of us, you will have to get through all of us. | ||
| Okay, first off, let me point out that you can start to see a little of his jihad coming through. | ||
| You're going to hear more of the gutter. | ||
| That's going to start coming through a little bit more and more over time. | ||
| And the smile will start dissipating. | ||
| That's one version of it. | ||
| And you know how they code switch and they play it differently to different audiences, but you can see a little bit of his little jihad thing kind of bursting through there. | ||
| Again, nobody, the city was built by immigrants, but which immigrants built the city? | ||
| Well, it was the immigrants that I just mentioned. | ||
| It was the Italians and it was the Irish and it was the Greeks and it was the Puerto Ricans and it was the Jews and several other groups. | ||
| But again, you guys, your day is done in the city because you guys did it right. | ||
| You paid taxes, you built families, you built communities, you built businesses. | ||
| That has nothing to do with the future of New York City under this guy. | ||
| So you are done now. | ||
| And then, of course, he points out that, and now it will be led by an immigrant. | ||
| Nobody cares. | ||
| Well, first off, it shouldn't be led by an immigrant who came here seven years ago with the only intent of destroying the city, who's making it clear that he's not going to follow federal law and who hates the very foundation of this country and the economic system we were built upon and everything else. | ||
| But nobody cares that you're an immigrant per se. | ||
| It's because you have all of the wrong ideas. | ||
| So all these brain-dead morons, and that's what they are, they are applauding the end of their freedom and liberty. | ||

| Van Jones, you know Van Jones from CNN. He's usually crying about things, gets most things wrong, but then in slow motion, occasionally gets things right. | ||

| He should have been over the last couple of weeks going off, explaining, because he always tries to pretend he's the same Democrat. | ||
| So he should have been saying, boy, New York City, you really better vote for Cuomo to stop this guy. | ||
| I'm not sure that he did that. | ||
| But here he is after listening to the speech, actually making some sense on how the tone of the speech was just really way off. | ||
| I think he missed an opportunity. | ||
| I think the Mamdani that we saw in the campaign trail, who was a lot more calm, who was a lot warmer, who was a lot more embracing, was not present in that speech. | ||
| And I think that Mamdani is the one you need to hear from tonight. | ||
| There are a lot of people trying to figure out, can I get on this train with him or not? | ||
| Is he going to include me? | ||
| Is he going to be more of a class warrior, even in office? | ||
| I think he missed a chance tonight to open up and bring more people into the tent. | ||
| I think his tone was sharp. | ||
| I think he was using the microphone in a way that he was almost yelling. | ||
| And that's not the Mamdani that we've seen on TikTok and the great interviews and stuff like that. | ||
| So I felt like there's a little bit of a character switch here where the warm, open, embracing guy that's close to working people was not on stage tonight and there was some other voice on stage. | ||
| I'm sorry, I know we all need like, I hate the word allies. | ||
| I know we all need friends and we should be looking for, but Van, like, does any of that surprise you? | ||
| Are you surprised? | ||
| What have I been saying for months? | ||
| And it's not just me. | ||
| He used the soft lens. | ||
| He used the fake smile. | ||
| He used the lo-fi music. | ||
| It was all fake. | ||
| Now he attained power and you're suddenly shocked that he switched tones. | ||
| Well, wait till the full jihad tone kicks in and then you will really be shocked. | ||
| How are you a political analyst and not realize that this is exactly what's going on here? | ||
| But the tone is shifting and it's not just Zorhan. | ||
| Here's AOC now coming out with what really this battle has been all about. | ||
| So many people who participated and were brought together by his campaign because they were not just tasked with defeating a Republican. | ||
| They were also tasked with defeating the old guard of the Democratic Party that essentially led us to many of the perils of this moment. | ||
| So he had a two front war to win, which is what makes his victory so deeply impressive. | ||
| And I do think that this moment, a lot of people who are willing to talk about party unity when it serves them, but not party unity when it serves everybody, it puts those folks on notice. | ||
| And I think it also puts folks on notice that we have a future to plan for. | ||
| We have a future to fight for. | ||
| And we're either going to do that together or you're going to be left behind. | ||
| And I think that that is not a partisan issue. | ||
| It's not about progressive. | ||
| It's not moderate. | ||
| It's not liberal. | ||
| This is about do you understand the assignment of fighting fascism right now? | ||
| Yeah, but we have a party to build. | ||
| And if you don't, like she's about to say, and we're going to send you to the fucking gulag. | ||
| You get it? | ||
| Like that shrill, crazy-eyed psycho-communist bitch. | ||
| But actually, I'm sort of happy that she's saying all this. | ||
| It finally has all burst forth. | ||
| They are not pretending to not be radicals anymore. | ||
| They're not pretending to be the old guard, decent, but probably wrong on most stuff Democrats. | ||
| They're not pretending to be liberals anymore. | ||
| I, for 10 years, was screaming the left should become liberal again and stop abandoning its liberal roots. | ||
| But now we don't have to pretend anymore, right? | ||
| The revolution is here. | ||
| You've destroyed the old guys. | ||
| Chuck Schumer, you are screwed. | ||
| Timu Obama, you are screwed. | ||
| All of you guys, you are on the outs. | ||

| You know, I think, I just want to offer condolences to Chuck Schumer. | ||
| Honestly, what I'm reading here in New York City is that AOC is going to be the next senator from New York after she gets done whooping his rear end in the 2028 Democratic primary and for his Senate races in 2026. | ||
| I see the energy in the Democratic Party tonight behind a socialist, and I see the energy in Virginia. | ||
| Democrats looking the other way on a violent candidate for attorney general who says he wants to murder Republicans and their children. | ||
| If you think you're getting rid of Graham Platinum in Maine now, think again. | ||
| This is a terrible night for national Democratic image given what is happening inside their party. | ||
| Momdani is an avowed socialist. | ||
| It's not what people say that he is. | ||
| It's what he says that he is. | ||
| He's now the leader of their party. | ||
| That's their energy. | ||
| And Chuck Schumer is a leader of the Democratic Party. | ||

| Okay, so let's get away from New York City for a second. | ||
| How many F-bombs have I dropped today? | ||
| You're just going to have to grant me a little leash today. | ||
| Like, you got to give me a little something. | ||
| Let's jump over to New Jersey, which was an unbelievable, unmitigated disaster that I don't think anyone saw coming. | ||
| Mickey Sherell, the Democrat, won 63.6% of the vote. | ||
| And Jack Citarelli, the Republican, 35.9%. | ||
| I mean, there was a lot of people that thought this was going to be a win for the Republicans or at least super, super razor thin close. | ||
| And let me just say, as a Floridian, I really wanted the Republican to win because knowing that Mom Dami was 99.9% chance going to win, some of the sane people who are going to flee New York City now, they would have just gone to Jersey, right? | ||
| Because you keep your family in the tri-state era. | ||
| You might have elderly people, your kids, whatever it is. | ||
| Like you keep people somewhere there. | ||
| So you just jump from communist New York City over to over the river to Jersey. | ||
| You stay there. | ||
| Now they're all going to come down here. | ||
| And there's a, by the way, house prices already. | ||
| I already saw this morning. | ||
| House prices in Texas and Florida are booming. | ||
| My real estate agent texted me this morning. | ||
| He's like, I'm going to have a really good year, even though he's conservative and not thrilled about what just happened. | ||
| But he personally down here will have a great year. | ||
| So that was an abject disaster. | ||
| And then another disaster, although it was a little bit closer. | ||
| In Virginia, Abigail Spanberger got 53.1% of the vote and Winsome Sears, a black woman who Barack Obama campaigned against because he's racist and hates black people. | ||
| She got about 46.9%. | ||
| Do we have a picture of Spangberger? | ||
| I don't feel like overanalyzing this, but there she is with her head in a plastic bag. | ||
| So good luck with all of that, Virginia. | ||
| The other thing that happened in Virginia was that the Attorney General race came out and Jay Jones, the man who said he wants to murder his opponents in a text thread, got 50.9% of the vote. | ||
| Jason Mearis got 49.1%. | ||
| And you remember these text messages. | ||
| I'm not going to read all of them from Jay Jones to a colleague. | ||
| And basically, here's Carrie, the colleague, saying, they say nice things about everyone, LOL. And Jay says, if those guys die before me, I will go to their funerals to piss on their graves, sending them out a wash and something. | ||
| Carrie says, Jay Jones, Jay says, three people, two bullets, Gilbert, Hitler, and Pol Pot. | ||
| Gilbert gets two bullets to the head. | ||
| I'm not even going to read all of this. | ||
| He basically says people need to die to show them that their policies don't work. | ||
| And Democrats voted for him. | ||
| Good luck. | ||
| Here is a lady from Kenya, a legal, apparent legal immigrant who's been here for about 20 years from Kenya, explaining why she voted for the guy who wants to murder his political opponents. | ||
| I always vote since I became a citizen, and that was 20 years ago. | ||
| And I migrated from Kenya originally. | ||
| My family is back home in Kenya, and how I see how things are going on, like with families being separated as a human being, as a mother, separating families, especially children from their mothers or fathers. | ||
| I don't believe in that. | ||
| So that made me come out and also come and vote. | ||
| Well, maybe you should leave America, lady. | ||
| This is a real problem because I don't think that lady cares about America very much. | ||
| You apparently came here legally, and that's just fine. | ||
| I don't care whether you're from Kenya or Mexico or New Zealand or anywhere else. | ||
| That is just fine. | ||
| But then you're upset that people who are here illegally are being sent home because of family separation. | ||
| They took the chance. | ||
| They took the chance. | ||
| And, you know, the other thing is when they kick out a mother, the kid can go too. | ||
| Or when they kick out the kid, it's all so boring. | ||
| But we've imported people who want the destruction of the United States and have decided to vote for people-based. | ||
| So they basically are voting for, in that case, she was voting for Spangberger and she's voting for Jay Jones, who wants to kill his political opponents because they don't like Donald Trump. | ||
| Now, I got to give you a little silver lining to all of this, or a little bit of hope, right? | ||
| Because this is pretty freaking depressing. | ||
| But it should be noted that Virginia is a pretty blue state overall. | ||
| And also because of its proximity to D.C., it's very, very connected with the swamp. | ||
| A lot of people who work in government are there. | ||
| And Jersey is kind of blue-red, purplish, whatever. | ||
| Here's Scott Jennings on maybe everyone should just calm down before reading too much nationally about all of this. | ||
| I wouldn't overread it. | ||
| Virginia, in particular, has never been a great bellwether. | ||
| I don't think a lot of folks had a lot of confidence in the Virginia campaign that was run on the Republican side. | ||
| And New Jersey is New Jersey. | ||
| So I would hesitate to overread it. | ||
| I don't think the concerns you raised are a legitimate political strategy concerned. | ||
| Right. | ||
| So it is worth noting that neither, look, New York City, which basically always goes blue, went blue. | ||
| I mean, in this case, it went, you know, Marxist, jihadist blue. | ||
| That's kind of the red-green alliance, which if you mush them together, normally would turn into brown. | ||
| Well, it did turn into shit, but it turned blue, I guess, if you're just going with Democrats or blue. | ||
| So Jersey, it's a little, look, you can't be happy about it, right? | ||
| It was a demolishing loss for the Republican, but it's not like they took a solid red state and turned it blue. | ||
| And Virginia, again, because of its proximity to D.C., it is generally a bluer place. | ||
| So it's not like yesterday, as bad as all of this is, it's not like a solid red state was flipped. | ||
| So there should be a little bit of solace in that. | ||
| However, just to give you the counterpoint on that, listen to this about the polling as it came to the Virginia governor's race. | ||

Sandra, what are you seeing that moved Virginia voters? | |
| She carried key groups by significant margins, really, Jesse. | ||
| As far as the strengths that we're seeing show up, college voters, those with a college degree in Virginia, she garnered 60% of their vote. | ||
| She got the youth vote, 67% of it. | ||
| Nine out of 10 black voters in Virginia cast their ballot for Spamberger. | ||
| Lastly, I'll show you this. | ||
| We know the federal workers in Virginia, we are watching closely, affected by those federal cuts. | ||
| Well, for those who said when they cast their vote that they were a federal employee, worried about those cuts, obviously, they cast their vote for Spamberger by a pretty overwhelming margin. | ||
| It really starts to paint the picture, Jesse, as to how Spamberger pulled off victory there. | ||
| So it's kind of interesting. | ||
| She gets young people. | ||
| She gets college-educated people. | ||
| She got 90% of the black vote going against a black woman. | ||
| Barack Obama did not want that black woman to win, which is sort of interesting in and of itself. | ||
| But the last part's the most interesting part, which is that federal workers live in Virginia. | ||
| They live in Alexandria. | ||

| So let's flash back to Charlie Kirk, August 3rd, talking about the rise of Mom Dami. | ||

| It was big government sucks, right? | ||

| So it's not that Charlie really wanted the government to come in and fix people's lives, but he did want the government to create the economic conditions with the light touch of government so that people could flourish. | ||
| So if people feel like for whatever reason, whether it's justified or not, that their life isn't going well, you're always going to punish the party, the people that are in power currently. | ||
| So although I think Donald Trump has done a great job so far in these 11 months or so of being president, and how do you clean up the mess of the endless inflation and all of the border stuff and everything else just in 11 months? | ||
| You can't, they're going to place the blame somewhere. | ||
| And we do have an affordability issue for sure. | ||
| We showed you this clip, I think, about eight months ago. | ||
| This is NYU School of Stern School of Business professor Scott Galloway, who I've had on the show, and I think we have him on in a week or two again, talking about how for the first time in American history, right now, a 30-year-old is not projected to do as well as their parents. | ||
| For the first time in our nation's history, a 30-year-old man or woman isn't doing as well as his or her parents were at 30. | ||
| That is the social compact breaking down. | ||
| People aged 30 to 34, 60% of them in 1990 had one child. | ||
| Now it's 27%. | ||
| People are opting out of America. | ||
| They're not optimistic about it. | ||
| They're not having kids. | ||
| Young people aren't having sex. | ||
| They're not meeting. | ||
| They're not mating. | ||
| The pool of emotionally and economically viable men shrinks every day, which lessens household formation. | ||
| So we have a real issue. | ||
| Young people are enraged. | ||
| So it turns every cut, every movement into an opportunistic infection because, quite frankly, they are just pissed off. | ||
| They look up, they see wealth, exceptional wealth across my generation and people in certain industries, and they are really struggling. | ||
| Their purchasing power is going down. | ||
| And the incumbents create artificial scarcity on campus. | ||
| We take pride in rejecting 90% of our applicants. | ||
| So the incumbents who already have a degree see their degree go up in value. | ||
| Okay, all right. | ||
| So Galloway lays out a lot there. | ||
| And I'm going to show you another clip of him in just a second. | ||
| But he points out something that I think if you put aside, let's put aside Trump, let's put aside Mom Dami, Democrats, Republicans, all that stuff. | ||
| If what he laid out there is correct, that for the moment, as it stands right now, in this particular moment, that if you are 30 years old, there is every reason to believe it will be worse for you. | ||
| You will, in essence, have less. | ||
| Not that life is just about stuff, but you will have less. | ||
| It will be harder for you to own a home. | ||
| And then you add the social parts of it where people are having less sex and all that other stuff. | ||
| But if you think it's going to be tougher for you for the first time in America than it was for your parents, right? | ||
| And I just want everyone for just a moment. | ||
| You guys in this room can do it. | ||
| And everyone watching this can do it. | ||
| I want you to try to think about your parents for just a second. | ||
| And if you have it better or worse, now think about your grandparents. | ||
| Did your parents have it better or worse? | ||
| And do you have a better or worse? | ||
| Now, if you knew them, if you were lucky enough to know them, I knew three of them, great-grandparents. | ||
| Did you have it better or worse? | ||
| And I can tell you in the trajectory of my family, it got better every generation. | ||
| Now, if my son at 30 felt, wow, it's going to be worse for me than it was for dad, well, then something about that social contract would have broken down. | ||
| So to whatever extent that has a the government has a role in that, then it is showing. | ||
| It doesn't matter if it's a Republican in power or a Democrat in power. | ||
| If young people feel that, I can't get a house. | ||
| I'm working harder and getting less. | ||
| Again, to whatever extent it's true, that is a huge problem. | ||
| And then that will lead a whole bunch of them who have also been educated with the wrong ideas to think that socialism will give you stuff, will freeze rent, will give you free buses, go get your once a week groceries at the government-run grocery store. | ||
| They might turn to all of the wrong solutions. | ||
| The housing part of this, of course, is probably the biggest part. | ||
| And you know, I don't give a lot of financial advice on this show, but I always say that one of the things that I view as a good marker of a good economy is when interest rates are low and you can borrow from the bank. | ||
| I like paying my mortgage because it's like, oh, I'm paying my mortgage. | ||
| My house is increasing in value. | ||
| I'm paying some small percentage when interest rates are low. | ||
| I'm paying some small percentage to the bank. | ||
| They have to make some money too. | ||
| And then you can hopefully sell the house, make a profit, someone else can get in. | ||
| Like, that's the beauty of the fluidity of capitalism. | ||
| However, it is struggling right now. | ||
| Here's Galloway on that. | ||
| We get very concerned with housing and traffic once we own a housing. | ||
| Housing permits are sequestered from young people. | ||
| Housing prices have gone from 290 to 420 in the last four years. | ||
| So a young person, a house, stocks that I don't own, skyrocket in value. | ||
| Let's have COVID relief and flush the markets and take assets way up because if a million people dying would be bad, it would be tragic if I got less wealthy. | ||
| And we're doing it on their credit card. | ||
| Young people have every reason to be enraged and every issue they see. | ||
| They look up, they get angry and they see someone doing better than them. | ||
| And then every day it is speedballed in their face that they are failing, that they are not doing as well as everyone around them. | ||
| We have lost the script. | ||
| Our kids are more anxious and more depressed and more obese and more addicted. | ||
| And we have made a purposeful decision to let this happen by ensuring the people around this table stay wealthy at the cost of young people. | ||
| Okay, so he's addressing a whole bunch of things here because, right, like there's all the social stuff about why they're addicted and why they're anxious and all that related to the phone, related to drug use, related to social media, related to just the breakdown of face-to-face contact and all of those other things. | ||
| But at the end of the day, so let's say you're like this, let's say you're a moderate apolitical kid who grew up in a decent home and you go to a college and you don't get a degree in that much of anything that's that important, right? | ||
| You get your lesbian basket weaving degree, right? | ||
| And then you're out of college and then you don't get this great job and you're in some debt because you went to college in the first place and no one said to you, you know, maybe you don't need that college degree in the first place. | ||
| And now you're at some marginal job and you're in debt and you realize, boy, it's going to be tougher to get into the housing market because as Scott pointed out, housing prices have almost doubled basically in the last 10 years. | ||
| And there's a million reasons for that. | ||
| And it's across the board blame. | ||
| And then you see interest rates go up and all these other things. | ||
| And then you start feeling like the whole system doesn't work. | ||
| So what might you want to do? | ||
| You might want to burn it down. | ||
| So now let me go back to my friend Charlie Kirk, who back in July, he tweeted that video that I just showed you of Scott Galloway. | ||
| And he wrote this, I think of this Scott Galloway clip often because Gen Z confirms his basic thesis to me directly every single day. | ||
| I hear about how frustrated and angry young people are because they feel like buying a home and starting a family is out of reach for them. | ||
| President Trump made historic gains with young voters because they trust him to set things right and oversee a rebirth of the American dream. | ||
| We are making progress, but we are in a race against the clock. | ||
| If we fail, we will see the rise of more and more mom damis in elected office pushing class and race warfare. | ||
| But if we deliver, and I believe we can, we will save America for the next generation and beyond. | ||
| Well, unfortunately, Charlie is not with us right now to see that the clock, at least as it pertains to New York City, has just run out. | ||
| And they are now going to try the other experiment. | ||
| And we all know how this experiment, because it's been run before, we know how this experiment ends. | ||
| But Trump now, I would say Trump, for all of your wins, and there's been a lot of them and they have not, you know, a certain set of the media will never give you credit for it. | ||

| Now you're going to have to fix perception around some of this stuff so you don't lose these young people to this mind virus. | ||

| He is loud. | ||

| Okay, so California, as we addressed over the last couple of days, the main thing that was being voted on there was that they were voting for Prop 50, which was basically going to gerrymander the state even more. | ||
| So they would, in essence, probably get five more seats to the Democrats. | ||
| They had an independent commission that was supposed to be dealing with this, but Prop 50 was going to basically hand it to the state legislature, which of course is all Democrats. | ||
| And surprise, surprise, in a place that is completely run by Democrats, the Democrats decided to make sure it will always be run by Democrats. | ||

| And breaking right now, the polls are closed in California, and Fox News is now projecting that Proposition 50 will pass the congressional redistricting plan from Governor Gavin Newsom that is expected to flip five seats held by Republicans. | ||
| Yeah, not good, guys. | ||

| So a supermajority state had some little mechanism to make sure that it would be a little fairer. | ||
| And then the people who are part of the supermajority decided to wipe it out. | ||
| Here's some interesting numbers on the actual people and the reasoning for their decision. | ||
| The yes vote in particular with Prop 50, the reason voters said they voted yes on Prop 50, 82% of the case, eight out of 10 voters say it was to counter the GOP changes, not because they saw it was the best way to draw those district lines. | ||
| Now, if you go back and look at those who said no to the vote, they said their reason to do so is that they saw this as not the best way to draw those district lines, while only 34% said it was to stop the Democrats from adding seats in Congress. | ||
| So do you get that? | ||
| And this is why Callie is just so beyond a boondoggle of stupidity. | ||
| So a super majority Democrat-run state who has a lizard man devil incarnate as the governor who pushed this thing forward. | ||

| And as soon as this happened, I was just very clear that if we were going to have a mid-cycle conversation, national conversation, about who has fair maps, that there was no way that Maryland was going to sit on their hands. | ||

| I'm not even going to blame anybody right now. | ||
| I'm not going to blame Trump, and I'm not going to blame the Democrats or anyone else. | ||
| I'm just going to lay out what the issue is right now, which is that if states, if the people in power in any state, whether it is red or blue, can decide at any given point, basically, to redraw maps so that it suits them, it is quite literally the end of democracy as we know it. | ||
| Because no one that is ever in power will be like, you know what? | ||
| I'm not going to do that. | ||
| So we have opened a Pandora's box here and we're in a lot of trouble. | ||
| Now, the unfortunate part of all of this isn't just that we're ushering in communism with the dash of jihad. | ||
| It's that there is so much goodness to talk about. | ||
| And one of the things I have consistently tried to do on this show every day, and it has not been that hard to do because it's real and it's true, is point out Trump's wins. | ||
| And there have been a ton of them. | ||
| And unfortunately, I suppose, a certain amount of young people or a certain amount of people in general have been brainwashed in Trump derangement syndrome and Hitler this and all and distracted by everything else and brainbroken by TikTok and they don't see it. | ||
| But here is Caroline Levitt yesterday laying out some of Trump's second term accomplishments. | ||
| In other news, tomorrow will mark the one-year anniversary of President Trump's historic election victory, where he won nearly 80 million votes, the popular vote in all seven swing states. | ||
| This was the ultimate poll on November 5th. | ||
| In less than 10 short months, President Trump signed the largest middle-class tax cut in history, including no tax on tips, overtime, and social security to put more money back into the pockets of the American people. | ||
| The president ended the southern border invasion of the Biden administration, made our border the most secure in history, and he is carrying out the largest mass deportation campaign of illegal aliens in our nation's history to protect our homeland, just as promised. | ||
| President Trump has aggressively taken on drug cartels by declaring them as foreign terrorist organizations and even blowing up narco-terrorists who have tried to poison the American people with fentanyl and other illegal narcotics. | ||
| Inflation has remained low and steady, averaging just 2.5% compared to the painful average of 5% under Biden. | ||
| And we know it was historically higher than that for most of President Biden's term. | ||
| The president has restored America's place as the leader of the free world through his unwavering peace through strength foreign policy that has already ended eight wars and counting. | ||
| And the president ended illegal DEI initiatives in our federal government and is returning our country to a merit-based society based on common sense. | ||
| So look, guys, you know it. | ||
| You know it because you watch this show. | ||
| I know a lot of other shows, including some on the right, don't talk about his wins, but there are massive, massive wins and you cannot clean it all up in 11 months. | ||
| But this is now an interesting moment. | ||
| Whether we like it or not, whether it is fair or not or anything else, a certain set of people, particularly young people, particularly in blue states, think that the thing is not working for them. | ||
| And in some way, they might be right. | ||
| So the challenge for the president now before these midterms is kind of what JD just tweeted out. | ||
| This, and it's exactly what Vivek said, and it's exactly what I've been saying on this show, something as it pertains to the economy and making young people feel like this works, this magical, precious system that we have, that it actually works. | ||
| And sometimes it doesn't work as well, and sometimes it does. | ||
| But you got to get that imagination going again and showing them that it works and that if they play fairly and they're part of it and they work hard that they will succeed. | ||
| Otherwise, things will get much worse at scale across the country. | ||
| Charlie Kirk, one more time. | ||
| This is yet another distress signal by young people to say, hey, if you're not going to fix our life economically, we're going to get very radical politically. | ||
| But let's take a step back. | ||
| President Trump won the youth vote in many states across the country, in many battleground states. | ||
| Now, Tucker, 12, 13 years ago when I started Turning Point, if you would have told me that a Republican running for the presidency would be winning the youth vote in Michigan and in Arizona, I'd say, no way. | ||
| It's an incomprehensible accomplishment of what President Trump was able to do. | ||
| One of the reasons he was able to win younger voters and younger men, especially in big numbers, is that they were trying to get their leaders' attention. | ||
| They said, hey, this guy, Donald Trump, he is pledging to go fix our economic anxiety. | ||
| He is loud. | ||
| He is going to get your attention. | ||
| Donald Trump was a distress signal by a lot of young people, especially young men, that were stuck in a credit-centric renter economy. | ||
| And again, this is what is the rise of Mom Donny. | ||
| It's just another iteration of this, only from the left. | ||
| Okay, so all of this is not to blame Trump, but he now has an opportunity. | ||
| And I think if Donald Trump knows one thing, it's a little something about branding and probably rebranding. | ||
| And maybe something about MAGA now has to be rebranded so people can start realizing that this thing can work for you and does work for you. | ||
| I want to end on a slightly different note here, because obviously what we are seeing is a further separation of kind of blue and red states. | ||
| And as I've been saying on this show, you know, a lot of what we're seeing is not just blue and red. | ||
| It's not just liberal and conservative. | ||
| It's urban versus suburban, meaning urban people want much more control over their lives and there's lots of reasons for it. | ||
| They need to be more dependent on systems because they can't grow their own food because they live in apartments and they don't have access to certain things and a series of things. | ||
| But the founders did do something magical in this, in this, they did many magical things. | ||
| One of the magical things that they did was the Federalist Papers. | ||
| So I want to quote John Jay in Federalist Paper Number Two here. | ||
| Listen to this. | ||
| Nothing is more certain than the indispensable necessity of government. | ||
| And it is equally undeniable that whenever and however it is instituted, the people must cede to it some of their natural rights in order to vest it with requisite powers. | ||
| It has often given me pleasure to observe that independent America was not composed of detached and distant territories, but that one connected, fertile, widespreading country was the portion of our Western sons. | ||
| Providence has in a particular manner blessed it with a variety of soils and productions and watered it with innumerable streams. | ||
| A people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government and very similar in their manners and customs. | ||
| This country and this people seem to have been made for each other. | ||
| And it appears as if it was the design of Providence. | ||
| An inheritance so proper and convenient for a band of brethren should never be split into a number of unsocial, jealous, and alien sovereignties. | ||
| So as they are writing the Federalist papers, which are designed to show us why we should have these laboratories of democracies and that most of the things that govern your lives should be relegated to the states themselves, there you have John Jay talking about all the things that actually should bring us together. | ||
| Because if we don't have those things, we will end up thinking about the identity politics version of all of this, which is exactly what is being sold to us through the socialists. | ||
| Well, through the socialists and the Marxists and everything else. | ||
| So I will leave you on this rather, I guess it's been sort of a black pill show, but I think we've offered some white pill moments here. | ||
| I would also say that I saw an article this morning. | ||
| Well, I saw an article yesterday that said one million people are planning, assuming Mamdani leaves, to leave New York City. | ||
| And we'll see where they have to generate the tax revenue and everything else. | ||
| There's been some updates on that. | ||
| People are saying somewhere between 700 and a million. | ||
| We're already seeing polymarkets calling for huge amounts of people to leave and everything else. | ||
| But we do have states' rights. | ||
| And if you are upset and you live in New York, you can leave. | ||
| And that's the beauty of America because you don't have to leave America. | ||
| You can go to places where your life will be valued, where your family can flourish. | ||
| One of those places is Florida. | ||
| Now, I don't know if this is AI or not. | ||
| I'm a simple man. | ||
